I was extremely happy with my Casa Verde experience. I was running very late for my appointment, but Lucia still fit me in and gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had! She didn't make me feel rushed (even though I would have totally understood if she had - I was very late!). She gave me the full experience - even gave me lip color. It was my first time at Casa Verde and will definitely not be my last. I've already had many compliments on my haircut. It's been so long since I've been happy with my hair - it's really wonderful. Kylene cuts both my daughters and my hair. My daughter has very curly hair and it’s so hard to find someone who is knowledgeable and also good with kids. My daughter is only 8 but she was thrilled with her experience. Her hair looked better than it ever has and she left feeling like a princess. She works the same magic on my stick straight hair. If you want to relax and indulge yourself, Casa Verde Spa is the place! Jack is amazing and he addressed all the strained areas of my back with a deep tissue massage. I've only had the massages and waxing services but from having lived in Los Angeles for five years, this spa compares to a high end west coast spa! Friendly and clean environment. They offer water or tea, have family and friends specials and were able to fit me in the same day. Very affordable, unique and awesome customer care! Emilee is the best!

They are amazing. After years of looking for a great hair stylist/salon, Emily was the only one that was able to get my highlights just right! Their Spa services are also phenomenal. I have never walked away wishing my experience was better. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave you feel like a princess. All of their staff are friendly and extremely professional. I have been a customer for three years now and I have never looked back.

Wasn't happy with my experience here at the Salon. My makeup came out not at all what i had expected. I came out darker than usual and my eyeshadow was put higher than i had ever had it I had informed the makeup artist multiple times and when she lowered it it was not taken off, more of a quick wipe that made the eyeshadow grey on top and messy. My boyfriend and i were not satisfied with the outcome. When paying we had informed them that we were not happy at all and we were told we had to still pay for the whole thing. I would never come back due to them not being reasonable or hearing me out with my opinion on the overall makeup outcome. Dont go unless you are willing to gamble youre 60 dollars

Relaxing spa experience - from the facial itself and refreshing orange water, to the lovely plant designs and dimly lit rooms.... I booked a 50min facial and enjoyed it greatly. As a first-timer, Renee explained the process and products to me so that it wasn't strange or new, but familiar and relaxing. Afterwards, Misty was very kind in discussing skin care products but not pushing or pressuring to buy, which I really appreciated. I would love to go get another facial and hope to return soon to try their additional services as well!!!! Thank you Casa Verde!!

I am very sorry to say that the service at this salon has gone WAY done in the last few months. I've sensed and seen more chaos at the front desk, people not being there and doing other things. I made an appointment over the phone and the gal didn't take it down. When I got there, my stylist had another appointment. This last week I have tried to call them multiple times. Last week no one answered the phone -- just a message machine that said they were with customers or were in a meeting. A beauty salon in a meeting? Are you kidding me! I texted my stylist, who said they were just all coming back from a retreat. Hey, I believe in continuing education but then put that on your voicemail so customers know. When I called on Monday, July 3rd and Wednesday, July 5th, to two different phone numbers, it rang and rang and rang. I didn't even get a message, much less a person. Maybe they're having problems with their phone system? I don't know. But I do know I won't be coming back here. I've seen things slip over the last year and get very sloppy in terms of how they handle their business. I liked my stylist, but for over $50 a haircut, when I usually just need a trim, I will take my business elsewhere to a place that answers their phone, appreciates their customers and knows how to run their business.

To start off, I need to say that I NEVER write reviews but I feel very passionate about my experience today at Casa Verde. First time at CV today. Dena cut my hair and did a fine job on the cut, she did exactly what I asked and didn't take too much off the length. She acted very confident and experienced which made me feel comfortable going to a new person. Here are the reasons for the 2 stars: UPSELL: From the minute I sat in the chair I was being sold a product or extra service. This would typically be fine but the only time the stylist talked to me (she literally didn't ask me anything about myself, I don't even think she asked my name) was to sell something extra "you can get a brow and lip wax for $25", "go ahead and browse the retail aisle while you wait", "are you a part of our product club? It's only $10 to join", etc. Atmosphere: fluorescent lighting, very close to other stylists, loud, and not relaxing. This would be fine if I were going to Great Clips. But I didn't. I paid $100+ for a cut and brow/lip wax, hired a babysitter and took time off work. I have paid less the amount at salons in other states and have left feeling very relaxed. When I first arrived she had me deep breath in some oils and said she would be giving me a scalp treatment (I think that's what it was called), so I got super excited. When she started I was quickly disappointed. She told me to deep breath while she just kinda scratched my scalp haphazardly, but all around me were bright lights and very loud blowers and conversation. I'm not sure if I paid extra for the scalp treatment, I hope not. Price: Too much for what I got. I felt that the stylist was very rushed, all the "extras", shampoo, styling, scalp treatment that I thought I would be getting we really fleeting and light hearted. Right after she was done with me, she quickly brought me up to the front, handed me the product she wanted me to buy then loudly announced that she was heading off to lunch and took off. I am a really good tipper (I was feeling generous because it's XMas and tipped her $25) and I wish she would have spent more time doing the "extras" rather than selling me stuff, she would have gotten an even bigger tip. A couple of last things I need to get off my chest. She didn't finish styling my hair, when I got in my car it was still damp underneath and aired dried and became frizzy. Halfway through my haircut a receptionist came to me and asked me when I wanted to schedule my next appointment, because I hadn't even seen my hair yet I told her I wanted to wait to schedule (even though she didn't, what if she totally butchered my hair? I mean I just wanted to see the finish product, ya know?). She became very persistent and I ended up scheduling before I finished. The saving grace at CV was a neighboring stylist, Ron, who got more personal with me than my stylist and told me he liked my shoes. Thanks Ron. Maybe I'll go to him next time. Again I will say that I got the exact haircut I wanted BUT I am a busy working mom who rarely gets to do crap like this and was hoping for the "experience" of going to a nice salon and getting pampered. I know it's possible, I have had the experience before.

This place is amazing. I took their survey to be matched with my stylist. I picked Alex Kota. They then called me to follow up. I was so impressed I made the appointment. When I went for my appointment they met me at the door. They knew my name the minute I walked in. My hair looks so great. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Everyone was very sweet. Outrageously expensive. $120 for a single color? I think that's a rip off. That and using all the special shampoos and conditioners, by the end of the month the color is pretty much all gone.

I have been coming here for a while now. Each time I come I am so excited to relax an get pampered regardless of the service I get. My most recent trip was for a haircut with Emilee and a brow wax with Renee. Needless to say I love the both of them. Renee is very relaxing and fun to chat with and really made me feel relaxed and calm even though I come into the salon with my busy schedule and a to-do list 100 lines long, they make me take a step back and relax. They even asked if I wanted to wait for Emilee in the quiet/dimly lit area since I mentioned I was stressed and enjoying the relaxing environment. My appointment with Emilee was on time and relaxing as always. I'm a busy student who works so I never get to come in "regularly" but regardless she never makes me feel bad, doesn't try to over-sell (she recommends things I mention liking or needing), and is super friendly. Emilee makes me feel like a close friend to chat with and relax..until I fall asleep while she's blow drying my hair. I've never been disappointed here and have recommended Casa Verde to multiple friends who have also never been disappointed. I will be back!

I would not take my dead dog there! They over processed hair tried to cover it up 4 people cut my hair trying take it right. When I got home my hair was 2 inches shorter on the right than the left! My hair was a ball of friz and I was in tears! All they could say was, "what is it you don't like, it looks like a box?" No apologies or anything. And still had to pay for it after they ruined my hair!

I just came back from my first ever hair appointment with Casa Verde and I'm just so incredibly amazed by Mikaela. I came in with my silver extensions to get my hair color matched as my color had faded and was totally whack. I had no idea that I was going to be walking out of there with PERFECTLY matched hair. Silver is a very tricky color to deal with, and I had all kinds of weird color in there. Mikaela absolutely NAILED it. Best colorist ever. Seriously!! It's also such a wonderful environment here, and the stylists genuinely care about the clients' hair. I got a little tour when I first came in by the lovely Miss Beth and they treated me so kindly. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

After recently moving back to Albuquerque I had yet to find a new go-to salon for haircuts. This summer I just needed a quick trim before leaving that day to attend an out-of-town wedding, and I made the HUGE mistake of going to a cheap chain place which ended up hacking my hair. While driving home in tears, my lovely husband had us pull over at Casa Verde and he went inside to see if they could help me out. Despite it being last minute, Erin M. took me immediately and did an expert job of fixing the sad state of my hair. I decided to go to CV to dye my hair because I read all the reviews on here and they were great! Well I basically wasted my money and time. Moriah and Diane did an awful job. My hair was long and thick and they literally ruined it. I asked her for highlights, but she only did the highlights on the top of my head. The rest of my hair is a mess. The worst part was that even the color is a mess. I have different colors all over my hair. Moriah started doing my hair and then she kept saying my hair was to thick so Diane started working on my hair as well. They mest up big time! When I saw the results I asked Moriah to please fix it, but she just made it worse. They are not professional at all. One person should have done my hair, not two. They each did whatever they wanted to. Moriah told me not to worry and that the color would get better. The color never got better. I went back and asked to speak to the manager. I thought she would suggest something to help fix my hair since they literally ruined it. I was wrong. After explaining to the manager what happened her response was “so what do you want to do?” I didn’t expect that. I will NEVER go back to this place. I suggest you think twice before going to this place!!!!

Most importantly, she listens to what I want and somehow correctly interprets my vision. Plus, it's like a mini spa treatment every time I go. I have been going here for a year and a half, scheduling appointments seven to eight weeks in advance so that my hair always stays looking at its optimum. My haircut yet Shovaunt has never messed up my hair once, unlike other salons and barbers I have been too over the years. I highly recommend this salon for anyone looking to get a good quality haircut without having to risk the barbar potentially messing things up.
