Very disappointed! My wife and I both scheduled for treatments at the same time on the same evening......Her birthday. Unfortunately all they had was 1 of the 2 appointments scheduled showing when we arrived & there was nothing they could do to fix. First of all the mistake should have been addressed by a manager. Instead there was just a bunch of kids running around who are NOT business owners but minimum paid kids. You get what you pay for soooometimez. BETTYS OVERRATED !!!!!!!!

We (the wife and I) had the blissful massage. It's pretty much a full body massage for one hour. And let me tell you that hour goes by quick. The wife really enjoyed. The atmosphere was relaxing. Our only complaint was no wash cloths for use in the shower. The sauna was a bit small, especially, on a very busy Sunday morning. Now I would recommend take your toiletries. They do have soap and shampoo in the showers. And they do have hair dryer. The jacuzzi was awesome.

This was seriously the best massage I've ever had in my life. Me and two friends got massages here earlier today to end off our friend's bachelorette weekend and all of our masseuses were seriously amazing!! Like, they did the perfect pressure without having to guide them, they got all our knots, they did joint mobs, they did myofascial release, and they actually got deep and to everything each of us wanted with little to no instruction! I have been many times and loved it. Always had the massage and facial. First they scheduled the facial before the massage, which it should always be after so you don't have to lay face down after the facial. Second, I received the worst facial ever. I was never instructed about the treatment, when asked just told I was given what I ordered and the esthetician wore latex gloves for the entire treatment. Ruined my whole experience.

Betty's is a sanctuary from the bustle of daily life. I have noticed that every time I go, they have improved something. I have gotten treatments here which are exquisite, but the main reason I go is to soak. You can soak for an unlimited amount of time in the communal tub for a really affordable price. They have lovely outdoor soaking pools and offer complementary delicious herbal tea and water to keep you hydrated.

We've been going here for about 5 years now whenever we're in Albuquerque. It's the ONLY place that's a must-visit when we're passing through. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing, the staff is super professional and friendly, and everything is clean and inviting. I highly suggest the "Couple's Retreat" package. One word: amazing! You won't regret visiting this business.

The grounds are nice, the locker rooms and waiting area are comfortable and relaxing and I liked that they had their products available to try in the locker room and shower. I was able to try the body wash (unscented and scented), lotion, shampoo and conditioner. I liked most of them, which were for sale on site, at a reasonable price for the quality. When you check in you get a very comfy robe and rubber sandals, along with a key for a locker. To drink, they offered water with lemon, cold tea and hot tea. I was impressed with the hours they scheduled services. I was able to schedule a 90 minute deep tissue massage at 8pm on a Friday. Overall I liked the experience a lot but the massage was just ok and for some reason I expected it to be kind of fabulous. If I go back it will be to try the body treatments I think.

I had a great experience here after having an awful one at ABQ Baths. If you’re trying to decide between the two, trust me that Betty’s is far superior. The staff was courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was tasteful and calm. AND there is a women’s bath, and a coed bath. Personally, as a woman I prefer to not bathe with men so I really appreciated this. Some of the other guests were a bit loud and inconsiderate and I wished that the staff was more diligent in creating a hushed environment, but I had a great time anyway. I also love that with the women’s side available, you can sun bathe nude if you so choose. I will be back to try their services! The bath products are amazing as well!

This place is great. I went in with my mom for my first facial and massage. My masseuse and esthetician talked me through everything and did such a great job. Betty's is always a peaceful, relaxing place to be. I went for just a soak on a Thursday afternoon. It was more crowded than I've seen it in a long time (7 other women) so if you don't want to be around too many people, perhaps a different time or day works better. However, no one was loud or bothersome. I love how clean everything is, how kind the staff people are, and that I can drop in anytime to soak. Thank you, Betty's!

I've been coming here since they opened over 15 years ago. Lately not often enough as I don't have a car anymore. Otherwise I'd go here monthly. The soaks are still affordable, but over the years the prices have become a tad to steep for me. Even if they're justified, and they are, I can't afford a massage here any longer. Luckily my friend picked me up on New Year's Day, and we decided on a whim to soak and relax. It felt like a one week vacation. Betty's is unsurpassed in Albuquerque when it comes to courtesy and relaxation. No matter what you book here, you'll leave feeling thoroughly rejuvenated!

OMG could there be a better place. Nope probably not. I wish I could go daily. I can honestly say I have never had a less than great experience here. From the moment you call to make an appointment to the heartbreaking time you walk out the door you are treating with the up most professionalism. This is not your massage chain spa. All of there therapist to include front desk staff seem to be very experienced. The services are very reasonably priced. The only thing I wish they offered was a steam room. We will definitely continue to patron this place.

Been going to Betty's since 2008. LOVE them! Practitioners are all very skilled. Facilities are clean and lovely. Spa building is GORGEOUS and pretty accessible. They even welcome well-behaved youth with an adult. They're affordable. They sell DELICIOUS shampoos/conditioners. I do wish that stupid cell tower wasn't right next to the building for us to stare at while in the hot tub. But otherwise ZERO complaints.

I have yet to have a spa treatment at Betty's but have gone to soak in the tubs and use the sauna multiple times. I think it is a fantastic price and it is for the whole day, so really you could make it an all day event, soak, go out for lunch or a hike, then soak some more! Their robes are the most amazing and comfortable ones I've tried! A very nice and beautiful place to go for a day of pampering.

My first visit to Betty's was for a pregnancy massage with Claire. The special table and accommodations for an 8 months pregnant mama made the whole experience so special and Comfortable. I used to really like this place. Recent visit on 7/23/15 was disappointing. When I booked the appointment I asked to have the same therapist I had had the visit before in April. I also requested and made an appointment for my husband at the same time as mine. When we were taken back for our massages they had booked us in the same room which I did not request, and I was given a different therapist than the one I asked for. They were not able to switch us to be in separate rooms. It's as though the person who scheduled us didn't listen to my requests at all.

I went to Bettys and signed up for a deep cleanse. I didn’t receive any extractions as the description said. The lady decided to cut into a birth mark thinking it was a pimple. She was very wrong. When it was time for a massage for my shoulders and arms, all I got was a lotion rub down. Very disappointing especially for the amount of money it cost me. I will never go back there again. Update 6/24/18 - Bettys Day spa called me about the above review and offered to give me an hour facials with another lady. I accepted and had my facial with Christina. It was absolutely fantastic. She did a great job with products, extractions, and massage. I will definitely go back again and refer others. Thank you!

This is the best and most affordable day spa that I've ever been to in Albuquerque. They're located in a quaint area of the North Valley on Candelaria and have a wonderful atmosphere and scent the moment you walk through the doors. It's like traveling undersea (which is part of their theme that I perfectly approve!). I've had a wonderful experience every time I've visited (I've had one service of every category without disappointment), and I'll be back just as soon as I find the time to go. They're also very affordable. In fact, out of all the places I've been to in Albuquerque (which is quite a lot) they're the cheapest I've found. They have a great staff too!

DO NOT GO HERE! They are trying to take our money! we went here on Saturday and had a semi relaxing time in the private tub. The people were friendly and the robes where nice. But then we went for our messages, I specified on the phone that I'd like my husband and me to be in the same room for our messages. They didnt have us set up in the same room. I told them I'd prefer us together so they complied. So I had a nice Blissful message but my husbands deep tissue message was terrible. We told the front desk person and he took the price of the private hot tub off. But the message costed more so it wasnt that much off our price. Now on Sunday they called me saying they didnt close out our transaction! Now after a relaxing evening I did not want the stress of money. I told them it was already being processed in my account and that they cant take more money out. They said to wait until Monday. They call Monday and say they still havent gotten the money. At this point its posted in in my account. They've charged me! So now they still say they still dont think I've paid them and now I'm worried their gonna charge me AGAIN. DO NOT GO HERE! Obviously they can't process an exchange or perform a deep tissue message!

I LOVE Betty's!! When you walk in you are instantly at ease with the smell and ambiance of the place. Its relaxing, quite and best..Clean. I have been here on numerous occasions for different things. They have great soaking tubs with access to the sauna for only $10, they have great massage specialists with many promo's throughout the year. The esthetician really goes out of there way to explain skin care and techniques that will help your skin . They provide you with water, tea or they have refrigerated beverages for purchase. They provide you with a soft robe and slippers. The bathroom has lockers to keep your stuff safe and kept. The woman's bathroom is equipped with little things that make the difference such as hair ties, cotton swabs, lotion. The showers have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Its a great place to visit. You can book/reserve the hot tubs for special nights. Be ware they do have all women and all men soaking tubs in the event bathing suites are not desired.

Wow, what an amazing place to relax and get away. Driving by you wouldn't think this place is what it is. Once you go in and see the ambiance of the whole place, you'll be amazed. The lobby area in the front sells all of theirs ands other local companies products. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. For being my first time to any spa, this definitely was an experience. I was gifted with their 60 min BLISSFULL package boy was it BLISSFULL. STEPHANIE was my massage tech and I must say she was AWESOME. With 10+years of experience, she knew what she was doing. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a wonderful experience. The deep tissue massage was great, they use their own blend of oils to really get the job done. I will definitely be back to Betty's Bath & Day Spa.

Great place to go soak really seemed more like its aimed for women but still cant beat it very nice place to relax a bit and very reasonable price will definitely go here again. Oh and the staff is super helpful and friendly I really enjoyed visiting this place and totally recommend it if u like to go to spas.

The Couples massage (90 minutes) was wonderful! The 30 minute foot pampering, and Fall Bliss (30 minute massage and 30 minute facial) was NOT worth the money. Hardly a massage, and technician was not relaxing or soothing (massage). Facial was just a glorified cleaning and moisturizing (no extractions). I did learn a lot about better skin care routines. Also, they blamed me for being late (I actually arrived 20 minutes before my appt, and they were calling for me at 12:50 in the locker room, insisting my appt was for 12:45, when it was actually for 1:00) . Don't argue with your clients, and don't rush me, when I'm trying to get relaxed before my appt. Half my massage was wasted, as I was stressed out from being rushed into the room.

I made a reservation and even confirmed it 2 days prior. When I arrived they told me that it was for a completely different date. I have been there previously and was very upset with their disorganization. I should have known something was up when it took them forever just to find my reservation when I called to confirm.
