I don't usually write negative reviews, but my experience at Tutti Spa & Nail was so truly terrible that it needed to be shared with everyone. From the moment I entered the salon, I was disheartened. Though vast, there was hardly anyone inside - more employees than customers. I enquired about eyebrow threading to the employee (seemingly the leader of the group) closest to the door, and she stared at me for a while, looked around the room, and stalled a bit before grudgingly telling me to wait. I sat and waited for a few minutes, which I didn't terribly mind, since that's pretty customary of a salon. She abandoned the client she was with, despite their being other none-utilized employees, and told me to follow her to the waxing room. As she told me to lay down, I realized she did not plan on threading my eyebrows at all, and instead proceeded to wax them. By the time I realized what was happening, it was too late and she had already started. She made no effort to make any conversation with me, except to point out that my eyebrows were very hairy. (This offended me too, as they were pretty standard, just needing a bit of shaping and light grooming.) She did not ask me if I was okay with the work before she left the room, as is normally customary of an eyebrow threading or wax. As she looked up at me to ask for my method of payment, I realized also that she had never handed me a receipt or even told me how much the service would cost. After I paid, I was about to leave when she gave me a disgusted look. "No tip?" I had honestly forgotten about the tip. I usually remember it throughout the entire service and especially at the time of check-out. I have no problem finding the employee who attended me afterwards to hand deliver their tip to them. But the wax she had given me (which I had specifically not asked for) and her attitude were so horrible, that I really was not inclined to want to leave her anything. Eventually, my conscience won over and I did leave her a token tip, but I was so upset with the situation that I couldn't even leave the parking lot without writing this review.
I had come to Tutti once before and left feeling a similar way, but I couldn't remember why. Now I'll never forget. And I'll never return.
