My daughter gave me a facial and provided me with the card for my birthday. When I went to use the card several months later, I still had to pay. Apparently the card is entered into the system as cash and it can get very confusing if you have a credit, points, etc. When I went to pay prior for another service, the front desk told me I had a "credit" on file and used the value of the facial that my daughter gave me. This is the problem that I have, I wished the front desk would of taken the time to explain that the credit for a prior service was the facial that my daughter bought for me that I had not used yet, but they did not. The manager, Amanda called me to explain that "some" people prefer it that way. She was very pleasant over the phone, but "some" people do not prefer it this way. I was extremely disappointed with the outcome and honestly I got the impression that Amanda really could not care less. I have been going to Tranquility since the doors opened up in Hainesport, but I cancelled my services and I will be taking them elsewhere. There are at least a dozen other salons within a 10 mile radius. I will be telling my daughter and neighbors who also go there and ask them to not as well. So sorry, but you definitely need to tell your front desk staff where the money is coming out of for services.

Sharon is my hair stylist and her work is truly wonderful. I have been her client for 10 years and have been going to Tranquility for 12 years. All the staff is caring and helpful. It is truly a place to be pampered. I have recently started getting pedicures and Alex is wonderful. I feel so pampered. Thanks to Sharon - my crowning glory is well cared for and Sharon has become a great friend. Thanks to Alex my feet always look wonderful. The top and bottom is well cared for - now I have t work on the in between.

Tranquility Salon is one of the best salons in the area. I have been going there for over 20 years to see Suzanne. She is an excellent hair stylist and is exceptionally well trained. Over the years (due to Suzanne occasionally being on leave) I have also used Farrah, Sharon, Sharon, and Alex. Each stylist was excellent and I was well satisfied. I have also used the Salon's massage, facial, and nail services, and have had excellent experiences each time.

My most recent experience with this salon has been very disappointing. I have been loyal for about 3 years and my husband for at least 1 or so, mostly to Brittany. She is a talented stylist overall, and despite a couple of mishaps... usually on Mondays when she’s swamped, has done a great job. A couple of years ago, she was too busy to do a cut but could do my color, so Esther did the cut. She messed it up and Jessica fixed it after. A couple of weeks ago my husband missed his appointment and I said to reschedule with who’s available since I felt confident in the salon and their stylists overall. His appointment was with Esther. I assumed it would be fine since it has been a couple of years since my experience with her, and maybe she just made a mistake, as we all do. When he came home, I was disappointed bc she totally missed a spot, about an inch wide, and the rest was uneven. That’s two experiences with her, both bad due to what seems like a lack of paying attention or just not being a good stylist. You'd think within a couple of years, she would have gotten better. I didn’t want to waste Brittany’s time and ask for it to be re-done, so I fixed what I could and told him to schedule sooner than usual. Apparently I made a mistake by voicing my disappointment to Brittany about the experience while getting my hair done earlier this week. When I was finished and went to pay, I talked to manager about the issue and she offered a 20% discount on his next cut. I initially said okay, even though I felt they could have done better or acted like they cared more. After thinking about it and actually doing the math on the amount of money we spend there monthly on average, it just made me more mad that he had to pay for such a slop job to begin with. As a solution, the manager and Brittany decided that “they could never make me happy,” and asked us to not come back “because they stand behind their stylists.” It’s great that you support your employees, but as a business who claims to be high end and cares to make their clients happy (which is not the case bc I have been researching other salons), you would think they would not want to lose a client who loyally spent on average about $250 a month not including tips and product. So glad they have appreciated our business!! They’re really great when things are going well, but don’t expect them to handle it well when you tell them that their employee messed up. In addition to the horrible response in the end, since I said something in the middle of getting my hair done, my hair was not finished properly. It looks very dull, uneven highlights and ashy, which Brittany and I both decided did not work well for me previously... I know she can do better, she has done great for a long time. It’s almost as if it was a revenge because I told the truth about her co-worker screwing up my husband’s hair. Excuse me for wanting the proper haircut he paid for. I did write a review previous to this one about Esther, (that I deleted bc I felt bad) and the owner thanked me for the compliments I did give, and said to call if I wanted to discuss my husband’s experience further. Since I was already scheduled to go in, I did so in person. Clearly they really didn’t want me to, or they didn’t want to voice how crude they can be in the reviews. I am particular about my hair, I have a good eye for color and cut... I have had my hair fixed twice in over 3 years... but I stayed loyal and never felt like she was incapable or not talented. I went from black to blonde and it was a learning experience for me. Overall, was very satisfied until I just recently saw their true colors as a staff. I would NOT recommend you go to this salon unless you’re going to be happy with whatever you get and don’t tell them if something isn’t right... even if they say it’s okay to... that’s not true either. Truly, 2 times w/ my hair and once for my husband is not justifiable as extreme, but I suppose you did us a favor. I, and others, should find a more suited salon to be consistently great.

The reception desk is always attentive. They check you in and the ask if you would like coffee, tea, or water. Tranquility is a tranquil place, the staff is awesome. When I get my 50 min massages Holly puts me to sleep. I love it!!! Caroline does my facial and shes awesome!!! Deliah does my wax, and shes on point! I cant speak on anyone else in Tranquility, but I visit every 2 weeks. This establishment and the females I mentioned always, and I mean always make me feel and look good. Make your appointments.

I have been a customer of Tranquility Salon for over 10 years. I mainly see Sharon Wright who is a Diamond Stylist and a great friend. She ALWAYS knows the right style and color that is right for me and is a pleasure to spend time with at each appointment. The students and helpers are also great and each one is always enthusiastic about their training, job, and future at Tranquility Salon. I always make it a point to ask each person when I am having my hair rinsed how they like working there, how school is going etc. I also have utilized other services at Tranquility such as facials, nails, and massages which are also top notch! I always recommended Tranquility Salon to anyone I know.

I like options! I love their wax choice. They use Nufree. My wax was very detailed. Not in and out however very enjoyable. There beds heat up for facials I would love to try that. I loved the atmosphere and think its a great choice to get multiple services in one place. I really like Maria here?

Fay does an amazing job on eyebrows! She stays with you natural shape and keeps your eyebrows full. Before I had very thin eyebrows, it took me the entire summer to grow them back. Fay makes sure she stays to my natural shape and keeps my eyebrows full, she never over plucks/waxes.The staff is also very pleasant when checking in! I would definitely recommend Fay if you want amazing eyebrows! I only trust her with my eyebrows!!
