First of , let me start by saying the customer service sucks as they prefer non Groupon customers. The heavy set Asian man who was massaging me, was to say the least BRUTAL! He was extremely rough. Room was freezing as well. They expect you to tip at least $15.00 per person. Overall, NOT EVEN free i'll go here again !

I first went over a month ago, Bruce gave me a top notch massage, it was deep tissue, very symmetrical technique. Offered me water and a refill afterwards. The next day my body felt brand new and rid of all knots. Last week I booked another appointment and learned Bruce no longer worked there. Disappointing, but I booked anyway. I was treated by the man who works there, thick build, in a different treatment room than last time. During the massage he was interrupted and actually walked out of the room to tend to something/someone. WTH?!? Who does that during a massage?!? He also was interrupted two times to respond to questions. The table I was laying on felt so hard. When I flipped over for my foot massage I noticed there were two long bars over me close to the ceiling. It then occurred to me this room must be used for the type of massage where they will walk on your back. This explains why the table is so hard. I left with as many aches as I came in and didn’t feel any relief the next day. I won’t be returning.

I come here so many times. I recommend this place . Some the one person I had to massage my lower painfull back she just know what to do. She just made my pain go away. I felt so relaxed. I give around 15$ tip if they do a good job I haven't had a foot massage but I'll give it a try soon. High recommend.

The spa was amazing it was a great fun experience. They made me feel very welcomed. It was relaxing, soothing and just made me feel refreshed and good afterwards. The employees did a great job, they know what they are doing for sure. I would definitely come back !! I highly recommend this spa, I think everyone should go!

I got 90 min foot reflexology which includes massage for head, face, neck, back and foot. The lady giving me the massage did not know how to massage. I was expecting massages on pressure points but instead, the lady was just touching my body with lotion. I even asked the lady can you put more pressure but no improvement. Literally she was just touching but not massaging. Plus there are no designated parking spaces for the customers so I had to park far away from the place. It was a waste of time and money.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! This was one of the WORST experiences massage experiences I’ve ever had in my life! I got a couples massage package off Groupon and as soon as I got there they charged me a $6.50 tax fee? I didn’t pay any mind to it. When they brought us into the room it was just 2 beds in a very cold room with just a towel and no blankets. We got undressed and waited but they were running 5 minutes late which they didn’t make up for. I had gotten a very BIG guy to massage me! He was not gentle at all and I literally walked out like I had been beaten because he massaged with his elbow digging into my back. On top of that he was coughing the whole massage! No mask no nothing! You think that’s as bad as it gets right? No, it gets worse. The guy then got a phone call during my massage and what did he do? He left and took it! Not only did he leave and take the phone call but the guy kept leaving the room to get stuff while there were other people on the floor who could’ve brought for us. I was praying that the massage would end I was in so much pain. Our “1 hr and 30 min” end and my boyfriend are ready to leave and we discuss how much tip. We go to give tip and they have the audacity to ask for more !!!!!!! They would not let me leave until we paid more tip. Eventually I gave in and my boyfriend was furious that they even did that. I’m telling you please save your money... they do not care and are money driven.

The Sol spa the massage was awesome I gave it three stars only because of that alone. Watch out for an Asian heavy set man in the spa he has a sign in the draw made up that says the least you can give is a ten dollar tip. I had 3 people with me we all got full body massages and I had a foot and full body which was priced at $50 dollars together. My friend tipped her masseuse and when we got to the register he said that wasn't enough. A frequent Caucasian customer said to him you tip how much you want to. He told her to shhh and go in the back. He tried to ripp me off. Remember you only give a TIP if you want to it can be less than $10 dollars. Just imagine I paid 130 for the massages he didn't even give me a chance to tip him before he told me how much he wanted for a tip. I went there at 3pm February 15, 2018 . Be careful people it's a blue sign in the drawer telling you how much to tip.

The massage was ok, but only go if you have time to spare. I had a 6pm appt and i was there on time. They told me i had to wait 30 minutes (why, i dont know) I waited 30 minutes patiently and nothing happened. I went to the front desk, and found no one around. 50 minutes later, finally someone shows up to give me a massage. There was no point in arguing because nobody speaks english (so frustrating). I've been to many spas but this one has been the worse. I was very upset about the hour wait and i wasn't going to tip them, but i figured, she did her job, so i tipped her. I dont know how much she was expecting but when she saw the tip she laugh. How unprofessional is that. This whole experience was insane. I doubt this place will be around for a long time. No respect for peoples time and no proffesionalism whatsoever. I bought two sessions but i wont be using my second one. First and last time. I'm a massage therapist myself and this place needs some serious improvement otherwise it will be out of business soon. My advise, find another spa and don't waste your time with this one.

Have only ever tried the foot massage and for this service this Spa is great. Clean, renovated, quiet space and friendly workers who do a good job. If you’re expecting a spa like you’re at the St. Regis, then you’ll be disappointed, but that’s not what this is so there’s no need to expect it. I love this place. I’ve been there a few times. The place is clean and quiet. The staff members are mostly friendly. There is one that gives you funny looks and makes awkward/rude comments. I just ignore her and make sure she’s no nowhere near me. The prices are very reasonable too. Will continue to come here. I have problems with my back and need massages often. This place has been able to meet my needs without making my back uncomfortable.

Went for couples massage, my masseuse left 4 times! Was talking to the other masseuse. Sounded and felt like he was falling asleep. The massage was OK but nothing great. Rooms had no real ambience. Was a bit disappointing. Then they charge tax and tax the tax! Demand the amount of tip to be given. I feel cheated. Then to make matters worse he had spinach issues and farted in the room. The other masseuse was laughing.

They just lost a costumer today. Have been there many times before cause it's relatively fair price for what you get. They have on going promotion for 1.5 hour but look very disappointed if you really take this deal. And ask for 15% minimum for tip which is more than 20% which makes no sense for OK massage. From going once a week (cause it's close and comfortable) I won't go again! It's was cold in the room, masseuse was unprofessional chewing gum! Shame... I won't go back:(

I found them thru Groupon and me and my other half went for an hour couples massage and 20 minute foot massage. Everyone there was nice and inviting. It was immaculate & very well kept. Even the pillows had little hearts on them. The two people who worked on us were incredibly talented and so we had 80 minutes of heaven! We're going back again. This is the honestly the best spa i've been too. Englewood is a great location as well, they're near plenty of great places to go to when you're through. Thanks to all at Sol Spa.

I have been to this place 3 times. First two were just average. The third time however was awful. The therapist, Carrie, made me feel so uncomfortable. She kept flinging the towel up and exposing me way more that I should have been. Also there was a person outside the room talking extremely loud on the cell phone and I had to ask her to go tell the women to go outside, TWICE. both times she opened the door while on was exposed and walked away leaving it open. When I flipped over on to my back for the head massage she again flung up the towel exposing my chest temporarily. She also chewed gum loudly. Her nails scratched my scalp and hurt. The bed was cold. They massage over the towel at times that was uncomfortable. I felt tense through the whole thing.To top it all off they told me it was mandatory to leave a $10 tip. Get the F out people. Never going there again.

Second time visiting Sol Spa where my first time was a few yrs back and it was just ok but this time it was by far the best massage I've gotten in yrs. As I heard, it's under new management and boy did I get my money's worth. I did the 90min combo during happy hr (10am-1pm) and Jimmy was my masseuse. The place was very clean and the rooms were well kept and had a great relaxing ambiance. Jimmy was very knowledgeable of what he was doing and it showed. He got every knot out and focused on the pressure points of the body which made the massage feel even better, rather than just squeezing the area cause it's his job. He definitely has the hands of an angel. I felt so relaxed during and after his session. I was not in pain or discomfort like when you go to some places. That's the issue with most spas, they focus on putting pressure and isn't very educated on the anatomy of the body and what should and shouldn't be done. I would def recommend Jimmy as a favored masseuse and I'll def be going back to Sol Spa whenever I'm in the area again. Thank you Jimmy.

What a Great, clean spa! The Foot message was awesome and it's pricing was reasonable,the room was very relaxing with a touch of soft music, the whole experience was Great. There's No parking for the handicap nor is it wheelchair accessible , and for that reason I didn't give it 5

Last week, I went to this SPA with my boyfriend. We did 1hour body & 30 minutes foot massage. The manager said the ownership just changed recently. Those therapists were great. We totally enjoyed our massage. My boyfriend felt better on his shoulder and calf. His therapist’s name is Karen. My feet was not sour any more when we left. Thank you guys. We will come back again 100%.

She know every muscle type, educated me how they work and how I can reduce the stress that builds up. I highly recommend you pay this SOL spa a visit. Your body will thank you !!!

They don't like to take Groupon customers. I have called 3 weeks in a row and they take your appointment BUT they always want to know if you have a groupon first, once you say you do they deny your appointment and say they are booked solid all week! This is not the 1st massage place that does this to customers with Groupons. They already have received payment from Groupon so why bother serving you thereafter, right? Nonetheless, I contacted groupon and they refunded me with no hassle. This spa is never taking my money, too bad for them because I tip well.

Love this place. A couple spa early Valentines Day day gift to my Boyfriend and myself. It's great n seeing that my hunny was happy and relax made me happy. I didn't get the name of the two people but they were great. Its quiet, clean friendly and spoke perfect english. Jason the owner was friendly from the time I spoke to him on the phn to the point I saw him. The reason I am giving 4stars its when it came down to paying being they have a new swiping system my card card was swiped more then once bcz the system was saying decline. All charges was returned right away except for one. I am still waiting its been since 2/11/18. Jason is working on fixing so it's cool for now lol. I know to pay cash next time. I have already recommended people. We will be back again

If you're pregnant and HOPING to get a prenatal massage, SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY! I was given a Groupon voucher as a gift prior to my colleague knowing I was pregnant. I called the "spa" and explained my situation: I was given a spa treatment for their location as a gift and was hoping to get a prenatal massage because the voucher expires about a month before my due date . Issue 1: They don't do prenatal massages "due to the risk"? Are you KIDDING me?! I've never been to a massage spa that doesn't offer prenatal massages. Discrimination much? I tried working with the gentleman over the phone to see if I could book the massage over the phone now and schedule it for after the birth of my baby. Issue 2: Yes, I can come in after the expiration date and just pay the difference of the voucher value minus the cost of the massage! Why in the world would I pay the difference if this was a GIFT?! His next response was to give the voucher to someone else to use. In no way, shape, or form did this man try to work with me. I'M PREGNANT! What kind of business are you running when you won't even work with a pregnant woman who would like to partake in your services? This makes absolutely no sense to me. While I am aware that this review is coming off as a rant, I needed to get it out while it was fresh in my brain. Please, stay away from small businesses who discriminate against people.

I have a bad back and they have put on hot compress to help relieve the pain, then helped relieve the spasm in my back. The Spa is very clean and the are open 7 days a week I would definitely recommend this establishment.

I think its clear many people have never been to this type of massage place. Here are a few things to remember. 1. Good chance the workers are like wait staff, primarily getting paid on tips 2. All the massage places like this pressure for more money. Be an adult and either give them more or say no. When you say no they say “ok” and hats the end of it. 3 you get what you paid for. Cheapest average 1 hr body massage is 70 and foot is 50. So being upset when you aren’t treated like spa II FOR A 30$ massage is absurd. Thats like expecting a dry age steak at Applebees.... so Id say their body massages are top notch. Well worth the money. For foot, ask for a woman and give tip at the end but to be honest Shanti is much better and 2 min away from sol. I will deff get another body massage in a pinch but prob never get another foot

Everyone has their preference. I will never return. I bought a Groupon for a couples massage because my husband and I are looking for a new spot since we just moved to NJ. (What better way than getting a deal to ‘try’ a service) I enjoy modesty and being able to relax, peace&quiet, being comfortable and occasionally falling asleep during a massage. At Sol, you don’t fill out any paperwork (medical or recreational) which kind of scared me but I was like “okay, maybe we discuss it before we begin.” They tell you to derobe and cover yourself with a towel, an ordinary bath towel. My bed was so cold, I was shivering. But again, “maybe when the therapists arrived they’d turn on the warming blanket.” (No) She started the massage by massaging me through the blanket, which really irrated my skin but at least she was warming my muscles up, I guess? She chewed gum loudly. When she took her hands off me I looked up and she was feeling my vest, hanging up!!!! (What was she looking for) I was scared to relax thinking they might rob us! I want to be happy that I left my underwear on but that didn’t matter, she pulled them half way down my ass and left the towel off, leaving my shivering. I then proceeded to pull the towel up to cover myself. Then she tried to pull the towel and yet again touched my underwear, to pull them up. Then she pulled them down a few minutes later, then I pulled them up. When she got to “massaging” my scalp, her nails were long and scratched my head! I’m not sure if my lady was licensed, she missed every muscle. I counted every single minute until she burned me with the hot towel and I screamed. I told her to just leave the oil on me but she proceeded with a quite cold towel in the already freezing room. I was pretty much over it, plotting how to run out with giving 5$ as a tip! Which brings me to a whole. Entire. Different. Story. -when we were walking out of the room to the front desk, they ran out of their storage room/prep area to get us water. One lady stood by the door and one lady stood on the other side of us. It kind of reminded me of a defensive, (better tip me) stance. They watched, staked, like a scientist would watch a bird, take out a wallet and count some cash. We ended up giving them 20 bucks to split. Needless to say, I’ll never buy another Groupon for a service or visit this place again.

Will not return!! Saw this place on Groupon but when I called for availability they said they didn’t have anything availability for Groupon, the difference in price was only $20 and since my BF has been complaining about his back I decided to make the reservation for the couples massage but the experience turned out to be very disappointing.... Even though the place is very clean my masseuse was this heavy guy in which his breathing was very distracting... the massage was ok... but what really disappointed me was that I was kind enough to give a $10 tip for each one of us and he tells me that I HAVE TO TIP THEM $15 EACH because the service was one hour and a half!!! Really??!?!? Didn’t I pay for the service?? I really just wanted to take the $20 off his hands and tell him “NO TIP THEN” but I just didn’t want to argue so I just told him that was a tip and left.... So the one star I am giving them is ONLY for cleanliness

The most incredible massage I have EVER experienced. Got a reflexology/massage combo with free hot stones. They are under recent new ownership, and the therapist who worked on me is a manager/owner. I started with a half hour reflexology and a half hour massage. His hands were so talented that I added another half hour. I was in pain when I went in, particularly in my lower back and glutes and I left pain free. Extremely gracious and polite, he and his partner thanked me profusely for trying out their services. Very clean, quiet, relaxing ambiance in convenient location with easy parking. I can't wait to go back again!
