Always a great experience with Simone. But this is the 2nd time that I have received a call back from a receptionist named Andrew and he always has an attitude from even the beginning of the conversation on the phone. It is truly upsetting and he is so lucky I am in a good mood today but he will be sure to not catch an attitude once I see him. I will let him know.

Worst massage ever. Went through classpass. The massage was so horrible, there were no details, assymetric, all over the place with creepy patterns. I was really sore, so I was hoping to feel some pain during massage in some muscle areas on the back. I felt nothing. He was just slathering oil and then spreading it. Didn't even give me a hot towel wipe down in the end. I ended up wearing my office clothes without a wipe down. The hot towel box was in the room. Also, I'm 100 percent positive they don't change sheets between massages. When I walked in I saw couple hair strands on the massage table. I didn't think too much about it but then realized that the service was unprofessional through and through. Also, 100 percent guaranteed the masseuse here are not licensed. It was weirdly creepy too.

Nice folks, in a calm oasis in a busy part of Manhattan. Been coming here for years for skincare and my skin improved drastically with learning from the estheticians about better self care. I like that they let you know about promotions without hard selling services and products =)

Great facial here. The price is reasonable ans they constantly have sales or deals. I come here for their custom facial every month and feel very relaxed and the sales here is not pushy either. Overall, it is a modern and simple spa without fancy decor. Yet, it does the job.

Really wanted to like this location, especially with all the reviews I how gentle, wonderful and knowledgeable their waxing specialists are. My experience was a little different.. running into a lot of side situations that took away from what would've been a good service. After checking me in at the front, the guys just asked me to sit on the side, never acknowledging that it was my first visit. I had to approach them about filling out paperwork and getting water as I showed up quite a few minutes early. The space was big, with many rooms, and looked clean so I tried to put it past me. The service itself wasn't much better. My technician (name started with a J) started the service off by asking me questions about the classic facial (obviously getting me mixed up with someone else). She was so surprised to have gotten it wrong she left the room to confirm with the front desk. Once all was confirmed and she got me settled in, she asked why I would ever choose such a painful service. After learning it was my first time, she went on further to tell me, in her words, the level of pain associated with waxing, on a scale of 1 to 10, was definitely a 10 or 11. If I wasn't freaked out and concerned before...I definitely am now! The treatment itself was painful, more-so now that I expected it to hurt. My tech went quick and slow, checking in with me after every time she pulled hair from my skin. The hard wax was hot (almost burning, especially on sensitive skin), but dried fairly quickly so she was able to continue her administrations. I saw blood a couple times, and the pain ranged from OMG to WHY DO YOU HATE ME, but I survived. There were a few hairs left so she took her tweezers and plucked them out. Towards the end, she gave me time to cool down, and rubbed anti-inflammation cream to assist with the pain. I limped out of there (but admire her handiwork once I was in the privacy of my own room). I do like the end result, even a couple weeks after the fact. While my first visit was not ideal, I do have 2 Brazilian treatments left in the 3-pack Groupon I purchased, so Skin Spa can still wow me...Hopefully, I won't get stuck with the same technician as before.

DISTURBING! I went in for a Swedish Aromatherapy massage. The masseuse Angelo, gave me the most weird, unpleasant and unprofessional massage I ever received. Asymmetric, with weird movements and strange stroking of my neck and face. They did not charge my Groupon but I am still having a hard time getting over the creepiness. Don’t go.

Simone is my go to aesthetician and has been for months. I had a really bad breakout last week and she prescribed a peel in addition to my facial. Upon leaving my skin looked significantly better and two days later it looked brand new. She's very kind, attentive and learned about skincare. I'm so grateful to have found her. My mother joined me for an anti-aging facial and her skin looked amazing afterward. I believe she saw Julia. I love Skin Spa's sales specials which are quite affordable and worthwhile.

I absolutely love this Skin Spa location!!! Eric is always so helpful, and in good spirits whenever I call to schedule or reschedule an appointment, or visit. Both Cynthia and Simone are excellent and patient in answering my many questions and concerns. My results so far have been great!! Today I went for a PCA peel, and I'm more than positive I will be pleased once again. Simone left me with a complete list of do's and don't after my procedure, and took great care of me!!! She analyzed my skin with a bright light, told me what she saw and gave me excellent recommendations. Overall, great place, amazing people, great results!!!

Very nice customer service.. massage was wonderful..my sister and i went as a gift frim my niece... the woman asked us specifically what we may have issues with and worked on those areas which i found very thoughtful. It was very relaxing. Our facials were amazing. All products and techniques were great and relaxing. My skin was soft and looked great when done. Highly recomend Skin Spa.

I had the BEST deep tissue massage by Li. When I get a deep tissue massage I want that "hurts so good" feeling - and that is exactly what I received from Li. She really helped alleviate my tension and stiffness in my back. She also did an excellent job with my lower body and even stretched my tight, tight, tight quads and hamstrings! I can't wait to go back again - I already booked my next appointment.

I called this location to make a booking for a massage I paid online and the manager was extremely condescending and rude. Instead of simply telling me that he has no spots available for the day I was requesting, and redirecting me to another location; starting talking down to me and cutting me off while I was trying to ask about availabilities. He then dare to tell me that he did understand me because I "don't speak good english". This person is a real RACIST. I am French but hold a Master from NYU so my english is perfect. Anyway, I got upset and called him out on his behavior. He ended up telling me that they will never refund my money and that I better not step foot in their SPA.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Chelsea so warm and inviting and really helped me understand what I was doing that was working and what I needed to add to my regimen to enhance the effects. She helped guide me on the best options and order of the services I should proceed with and how often I should have them done to see maximum results. I had never had micro dermabrasion before and I must say I’m hooked. The results over the past few days have been incredible and Chelsea was right—the products I currently used appear to be having an even greater positive effect to my skin. Beyond thrilled and can’t wait to visit again soon!

I have never had an appointment with this spa but I read that they carry pca products. Called for more info and the gentleman was very helpful and gave me great advice on what products to use. Will definitely be visiting them for a treatment soon!
