I had 90 minute massage today 6/28/16. It was terrible. I asked for medium hard pressure. Mostly it was very soft without any attention to any muscles or knots or areas that I noted on the chart that were bothering me. First I don't care for getting a massage through a sheet. It's just not as effective. The main problem was the masseuse, she just rubbed up-and-down sometimes inappropriately. I don't think she has any knowledge of anatomy or any massage experience. She asked me to turn over and she proceeded to massage my teeth through my cheeks which was quite uncomfortable she then went right to my knees and started to rub my knees in an awkward fashion. I paid the $85 and thanked her graciously and turned around to leave. She then stopped me & asked me to give her a tip! I didn't want to leave a tip for service that was inadequate. I told her I didn't have to leave a tip - she said I did! I told her how unhappy I was and that I didn't feel like leaving a tip because of bad massage. Of course everyone can hear this because the walls don't go to the ceiling and you can hear every little noise and any talking while you are trying to get a massage which is another issue altogether, who wants to listen to other people's cell phones or conversations while trying to relax and get a massage? I have had better 20 minute chair massages at the freehold Raceway Mall then I did with a 90 minute massage at Pings.

I am not one for leaving comments on web pages, but I felt compelled to tell of my experiences at Ping’s Spa in Manalapan ,NJ. This spa is exceptionally clean , immaculate and very tranquil .The massage therapists there are always, courteous, polite, friendly and professional and they immediately make their customers feel quite at ease. It is a real pleasure to be given such polite attention from the time you arrive until the time you leave. I have been to 5 star resort spas and not felt the quality of treatment that I have enjoyed at Ping’s Spa (for a fraction of the price! I highly recommend this local resort oasis if you are seriously looking for the best in professional massages.

I visited this place a few times since it's on the way home from work. I have to say, the place is very clean and comfortable. So far, all of the masseuse have been professional and know how to give what you are looking for. However, there is one who needs to learn a bit more English (but her massage was 10/10). I will most definitely be visiting here once a month to wind down.

Excellent excellent service and atmosphere and always a friendly smile when you arrive. I have been going to Pings on Rt 9 since they opened their doors and have never been disappointed! Unfortunately most times I walk in in pain but thankfully leave feeling great! Today I walked in without pain and walked out feeling wonderful. Highly recommended

I went a couple months ago. Overall, it was a nice experience. The place is very clean. The masseuse was named Mimi I think. She was very kind, obviously well trained in a variety of massage techniques, and paid very close attention to what I needed for my muscles. I got an hour long Swedish massage, and she added in some Chinese techniques and some hot stone massage on my back. It was very relaxing and my muscles and joints felt much better after I left. The price is incredible considering how expensive it is in this area. It was $60 for a 60 minute massage - amazing! I made sure to tip well. The only con: the walls are partitions that don't go all the way to the ceiling, so I can see how sounds in the building could be an issue (it was quiet when I was there), and it was a little chilly. Otherwise, overall, great experience. Looking forward to going again.
