I just moved to the area and have been looking for my go to salon. This was the second place I've tried and my search is over! I was immediately greeted upon entering and was told there would be a short wait for my fill-in. The wait was maybe 5 minutes came and got me settled at her station. We chatted a bit about the current set I had on and my concerns and what I really wanted out of my salon experience. After deciding to go a different route than the fill-in I came in for, she handed me a basket of over 500 gel nail color options! While I was looking she went and got a hot rice bag and placed it around my shoulders. Then she got started with my nails. Everything about my experience here was amazing. My nails turned out perfectly and the price was right. I will definitely be back!

Finally I found the best nail salon in the East Brunswick area. After trying so many places around now I can review this place that satisfied all my expectations. New Jersey Nails & Spa works beautiful nails, and pedicures. The place is so clean and their equipment is brand new and well clean. I never saw so many colors options to choose from. Overall this family business is professional and care. I recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for the best nails salon in the area.

Got a spa pedicure here with my mom and sister-in-law and loved it! The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and decorated seasonally. Staff was inviting, very friendly,paid attention to detail. Pricing is pretty standard and everything used during the brand new and opened directly in front of us. Lots of polishes to choose from and no one tried to push extra services on us -- though the 'menu' has a lot of options! I'd visit again :

I happened to pass by the Grand Opening sign and decided to give this new place a try. Even though they were already pretty busy, they managed to take me right away. The people who work here are very pleasant and friendly. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. I was very impressed with the color variety and overall selections. The prices are reasonable. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

I called ahead to let them know I was going to be late. They were very sweet about it and even though they closed at 4 and I got there 3:30, Helena took her time with my acrylic set. She didn’t rush at all even though we were well past closing time. She did an amazing job and was so sweet. It was my first time here and I felt so welcomed. This is my boyfriends account, but anyways I’m a hairdresser and one of my co-workers told me to come here. Worse experience ever. First off I walked in to get a full set and gel pedicure was asked to come back in a hour and when I returned I waited another half hour than asked for the guy and his wife started doing my nails. I like my nails wide and thick that’s how they were bc I’m doing hair so I need them to last. Not only did she talk me out of a new set but she totally did not listen made my nails thin and took my wide shape and told me it’s not a good look, one I’m the client so there for u do as I ask and never in my life had someone turn down a full set ur lose on the money anyways my nails turned out horriable she rushed bc they were busy and than my gel pedicure took over an hour and there is no need. As I got my gel pedicure I watched this women talk all her clients out of everything they asked for simply bc she was rushing to just get to the next client. Quality over quantity I’m in the industry and I couldn’t believe what I saw so unprofessional. It is a nice clean salon but unfortnely with all the other nail salon on route 18 I was so disappointed.

Went in tonight to get my nails done for the first time in ten years. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews on here but I gave it a shot anyway and am so glad I did. My tech was awesome. She was friendly and listened to exactly what I wanted. Will definitely go back!

First time to salon. First time getting a powder/SNS manicure. Had a 5:45pm appointment - guy started doing my nails at 6:05pm. I was not greeted very warmly by the two women in the first two chairs at all but whatever. Guy was friendly. I told him this was my first time getting powder. First let me say that I cannot stand when someone uses the electric file exclusively instead of trimming my cuticles with a cuticle nipper. Its just sheer laziness and destroys the cuticle. Second - for $35 my nails should not be thick! I got the powder for the first time - and it will be my last. I don't like the application process, the thickness or the uneven way the color looks. It looks like a 6 year old put acrylic overlay on my nails. My nails will absolutely be weak when I remove this terrible stuff. I saw all the positive reviews and thought I would give them a try - but never again.

Best pedicure I have had in a LONG time. I have found that more often than not nail salons are aiming for the fastest mani/pedi to get as many clients as possible in a day. The gentleman in the salon did my pedicure and he took his time with no rushing at all.

This was my 4th time visiting the salon. This time I brought a friend with me. We made an appointment for 6pm but came a bit late due to traffic. Tammy greatered us and asked what we were looking to do we said manicure and pedicure. Tammy tried to up sell us by telling us about gel pedicure . We declined for regular pedicure. Tammy started to work on my feet and rushed through her service in the process she rushed through the message n nicked my toe making my toe bleed. She didn’t apologize but kept on working as if all is well. It really hurt

I normally don’t write reviews but this place is special and really deserves one. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this salon! I felt welcome as soon as I walked into the front door. Tammy and Hai are extremely talented and super friendly. My nails last longer than any other place I have ever been to. You can’t beat the price for such great long lasting quality. The best part about it is that they are QUICK. You will never feel rushed but if you are like me and can’t sit still for very long, you will love this place! Overall wonderful experience!!

I had such an amazing experience at this nail salon. Hai did an exceptional job! His customer service skills, as well as his staff was wonderful. I was looking to get my nails done (last minute on a Friday evening) I called this nail salon and was greeted by a very nice woman on the phone. She gave me an appointment for the same evening. She called me back to see if I wanted to come in immediately. I got there for my appointment and waited just a few minutes. I was greeted by Hai and be was very professional, welcoming and friendly. He was very patient and helpful in helping me decide what was my best option for my nails. We talked the entire time and he was the absolute best! My daughter got a manicure and pedicure from another employee and she loved her experience as well. The place was very clean and staff was very nice! Highly recommend this nail spa. Everyone there was very satisfied with their service. We were there late and he would not close the shop (past closing time) because I was still waiting for my husband. I usually don't leave reviews, but this business deserved it❤️ My best nail experience!

First time coming here and will be coming back. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff. The tech did a wonderful job on my manicure and pedicure the whole experience from start to finish was very relaxing. I like that they have a reward program for each time you come you get a stamp and after a certain amount you get $20 off your next service!

2nd time here ..Since I was double booked and refuse to be seen by someone else because I was the first to be booked in that spot (2 weeks in advance).The owner Tammy seems bothered by that. She passes along the other person to another tech and resumed to removed my dip powder by ripping it off with the cuticle cutter rather than soaking them like removing gel polish. This process broke my long hard nails and made them think and brittle from the harsh removal process. I questioned why would she do it that way and gave me excuses on how my skin would dry out. Made no sense because it the same removal process as gel polish. She then told me that this is how her location does it and if i didnt like it I could take my business else where. That exactly what i did! Its not fair as a consumer to have to deal with attitude and arrogance as well as pay for service because they made the mistake on double booking. Beyond pissed because it has taken me such a long process to harden and strengthen my nails for this angered/negligent owner to rip and break my nails and not even apologize for it. So upset. Thought this was going to be my new nail place since im new in town. Sucks trying to find a place that is good when moving from out of town.

This was such a great experience! My mom and I have been searching and searching for a good nail salon, and New Jersey Nails & Spa is the absolute best! The customer service was way beyond my expectation, as they were so friendly and down to earth! My tech was hilarious and extremely talented at what she does! The pricing wasn't bad either!
