been going here for maybe two years now for a massage and facial with my mom. don't underestimate these ladies, I like a very deep massage and these ladies are able to deliver. You can't beat the price either. it's not the fanciest of spas, but they are very clean and the service is good. I've never felt pressured to buy anything, and they only asked during our first few visits, but simply saying no was all it took to get them to stop asking.

Message & facial combos are fine. What they don't tell you upfront is that $10/hr per person tip is mandatory. Place is clean & I don't remember being pushed to buy future massage packages though the deal was mentioned twice.

The most unprofessional place. Answered the phone very rudely when we booked our appointment.(Which business picks up the phone and answers "Ya") Also told us don't buy the Groupon because they take a profit so just contact us directly next time. As soon as me and wife walked in the man in the front lobby "Jimmy" asked "did you bring cash for tip?" My wife told him she will pay for the tip once she recievs the service to determine quality and the tip! Then he asked if she wanted to wait for me to also come in as we both came separately. She asked if time would be deducted from her appointment and Jimmy replied "no". Within 5 mins he told her to go in now or else we are deducting time! Even though she asked a few minutes ago and gave a different answer. Continuing she went in for her massage and all there was, was a small towel to cover herself. Once she was settled in, the lady came in started her massage without any questions. Moreover, she continued to move her towel down a total of 4 times, completely exposing her buttocks without any permission or warning. Next my wife had wanted a hot stone massage- which she failed to ask my wife intially- later scrambling to gather her stones. Next, I came for my appointment, and the first thing Jimmy asked me was "did you bring cash for tip?" I said no, and then he proceeded to tell me I owe $6.00 for taxes for both my wife and I massage. I gladly handed over my credit card, then he told me there is a $20.00 minimum which he failed to mentioned to my wife earlier when he asked her to pay first. From there he proceeded to tell me where I can go for an ATM to get cash for the TIP - continously asking for the tip was a turn off to begin with and honestly very poor customer service. After my massage was over he came to me again, asking me if I want to buy a gift card, I looked at the brochure, he continued being very pushy to purchase additional services. and then he said "oh so do you want to pay the tip on your credit card?" Which is funny - that now I can tip through my credit card... I'm not sure if he assumed I was going to pay $20.00 tip for a $34.00 massage. Once my wife arrived home she got three text messages from a number saying "junk family"! When my wife asked "who is this?" He proceeded with" you husband ".. She called the number right away to discover that Jimmy was now harassing my wife for a tip through his personal phone number !!! And you better believe she explained to him the meaning of a tip! And that the tip is a reflection of the quality of services provided. He continued to be rude on the phone with her! Until eventually my wife hung up! THIS is a WARNING for customers to be cautious of the poor customer service provided to us! My wife and I had gone to the Greenbrook location prior and and had a great time! We ended up spending 3 hours there with a total bill of $300 dollars and a very generous tip! SAVE YOURSELF THE hassle and drive the extra 20 mins to the Greenbrook location!

I bought a groupon here and went as a treat to myself.The place is clean and decorations are nice.What i didnt like was as i was getting my facial the person who was doing it kept pressuring me to buy a massage and gift card for the "next time" i come.Even after politely declining the offer she persisted on asking.I got so annoyed.honestly dont you guys understand the meaning of the word NO!Then as i was paying for my spa and facial she began to give me an attitude. YOU GUYS DESERVE A ZERO STAR RATING (there isn't one on here)I will NOT be coming back here ever AGAIN!!! Im not suprised as to why they dont have many customers !!!!!!!!! YOU JUST LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER

I got with my Sister and it's great - we get a great deal and as long as we pre-purchase the next at check out, we get the same price. We go every couple months for a 1 hour facial and 1 hour massage - the facials are great! Better than any others I've had.

The spa is of mixed bag but is professional and decent. The massage depends on the person who is massaging. Ask for Lynn, she is young, 25 years old and very good. The other therapists are average but Lynn does an excellent full body massage. Her pressure on Neck, Shoulder,Back and Glute muscles and leg calf muscles is perfect. You can also ask her to stretch your muscles for the last 10 minutes. She doesn't understand English but you can still say More Pressure or Less Pressure, it hurts and she understands a bit. Don't go for any other therapists if you are looking just for a massage, they are average but I don't know who does good Facials. The front end guy is just annoying and keeps asking for more tips but just ignore him. He needs to understand that Tip is given based on the service provided and one is not entitled to have it if they didn't do a decent massage. Go for Lynn the therapist and it is well worth the money more than Massage envy or Handstone.

Facial was good however, while I’m getting facial , the girl that did my facial would not stop talking about packages available. She was extremely pushy and kept telling me I had to decide right then . After facial , I gave her 20 percent tip and she asked for more money for tip. I inquired about laser removal on two little freckles and the manager was charging me $100. When I stated that I wasn’t interested, she started yelling in English and CHINESE “ ok .. fine .. then you won’t get it”. Worst customer service! Do not recommend this place due to rudeness and extremely pushy!

This has got to be the worst place. When you first walk in the guy Jimmy asked for $5 for taxes because I had purchased service through Groupon. I replied with NJ state taxes is 7% and on a 39.00 bill that would only total to be $2.73 ... he then quickly acted like he didn’t understand English and started to speak on his own language. I told him ok I would be using my translator app to see what he was saying. He got upset and walked off. Since I had already drove 30mins out of my way I said just give me the massage. The Masseuse, Naomi was excellent and very professional but once I was finish here goes pushy Jimmy talking about now I had to give $10 now I asked for what and he said for a tip. I explained to him that to ask for a tip was unprofessional and tacky and he can not tell me how much to tip. Then he push a paper to me and said well buy a package and I said no I did not enjoy the experience so no I would not take anything else. I tip Naomi what I wanted to which was in fact more than $10 but it was simply the principle of it! All and all The manager, Jimmy was rude, tacky and unprofessional and I advise no one to waste your time going to this place. As for Naomi I hope she finds work elsewhere so I can continue my services with her.

Massage was actually great, but am super turned off because of the tipping process. I went to give my tip, which by the way you put in an envelope so it's private, and the man at the front desk saw and asked if that was all I was going to put in. Feeling annoyed, I put in the rest of my cash. He then proceeded to tell me that was less than what is customary and that they accept tips on card. At that point I was furious. It is already hard for me to treat myself to a massage every once in awhile. It's not a tip if it's required... Ridiculous.

The lady in the front was so rude. I am not sure if she was the owner or manager. They changed me tax of $5 even though it didn’t say on my Groupon and they even asked to tip them on $180 of services when I only paid $55 for facial and Massage. I ended up paying $25 on top of my Groupon. You can change whatever u want but it doesn’t mean that the customer would pay for it. Obviously no one is paying that much hence u r on Groupon. Don’t go here as u will walk out with sour taste in your mouth after dealing with the rudest people

BEWARE of cheap products used and PRESSURE to buy packages.NOt recommended.I bought a facial and massage through a groupon here and went to Edison location.When you are done they appear very nice but put pressure on you to buy a package for 10 facials.No one spoke English in that store and I could not ask what products they used but I broke out with bad acne unusual after a cleansing facial.Do not make the mistake of buying any package or any store products,they do not refund anything.once you buy you are stuck with them and the quality of service goes down with each facial.

This place is superb for both facials and big massages. The older Asian woman is full of knowledge. You get a great deal when you pre-purchase a gift card for your next visit. I have not experienced the pressure to buy their products or packages that others have mentioned but again they might be forcing that on their female clientele.

I got a Groupon here for $35 haven't had a massage for a couple months so I figured why not splurge and go treat myself. Horrible place. I thought maybe because it was Jennifer in the name of the massage place that it would be different. No it's your regular Chinese people that don't speak English that have no customer skills. It was a horrible experience. I would never even go back if they charge me $10 for an hour it was that bad. The place is dirty. And the people that work there are so rude and have no manners they talked the whole time you're trying to massage you and Chinese thinking because you don't understand you don't

I have been coming to the Edison Jennifer Day Spa for over two years. Everyone is very nice, no funny businesses, no up-sales like I have experienced at other spas. The masseuses are very professional and are very good. Massages are great, similar to what I have gotten from the physical therapists office without all the paperwork. They are willing to work on your muscles and knots rather than just gently massage. I have been a member of their packages, and this is still my favorite place after trying many others.

I have to admit that the reviews I have read on Google had me quite nervous about going here but my husband had bought me the Groupon so I was locked in. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised (due to the other reviews I read) with how great the experience was. Ella did my massage and my facial and she was absolutely outstanding!!! She came in the room said Hello and got right to my massage. This was my first experience getting a massage. Aside from having my sister give me one, and she's a massage therapist. I was a bit nervous about going with the deep tissue massage because I do have lower back issues & was afraid that it would hurt too much. However, Ella would ask if the pressure was too much once you started on a new part of my body. She honestly was the best person to have to start off my experiences with massages. There was no big sale pitch, aside from Ella asking if I wanted to add on the microdermabrasion facial instead of the one that came with my Groupon. I declined and there was no further conversation about it. At the conclusion of my two-hour experience I was asked once if I wanted to buy another package at the same Groupon price. I declined, however I will be returning the favor to my husband & getting him one. I simply didn't have the money on me at the time. Then I was handed an envelope with Ella's name on it, left her a tip and went on my way. I would definitely recommend going to Jennifer Day Spa and I highly recommend asking for Ella.
