I was googling around- attempting to find a new nail salon in the area. Based on the reviews of this salon, i decided to give a call to find out the price of a gel manicure. The lady on the other end of the phone answered in the most distasteful tone. THE BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO ASK ABOUT THE PRICE OF A PEDICURE SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE. Very unprofessional. Will not be spending my money nor time here.

I love that this place has a loyalty card system. It shows they value their customers. I enjoyed the shoulder massage while my nails were drying very nice touch. The upgraded pedicure was awesome! Definitely returning.

Had a wonderful experience at a great price! Had a mani/pedi special for 25$ (Mon-Wed) and I felt she was very thorough, took her time and the massage portion was very good. I even thought the manicure portion would be rushed since it was a special but she took her time and even did a really nice hand massage. I have to say I was quite impressed and surprised with the service I received at that price. Nice that they also have a membership card that gives you points for every visit . I will definitely be returning!

I love Bloom! They do a great job and always make sure I feel welcomed. When I arrive I'm seen straight away and always have the most magical pedicure. A simple manicure on the other hand is surprisingly hard to get. My cuticles never look spectacular but the option to have a manicure the same time as your pedicure is definitely a plus.

Bloom is a clean and inviting spa.The Bloom experience allows for a relaxing adventure of pampering.The staff is always organized and trained to be service oriented. Whether you are not sure of you nail color the inventory and brand of polish is outstanding.I like the privacy for obtaining hair removal service as well as the convenience of the ATM machines, acceptance of every credit card too.Amy is an excellent nail technician and Maya does a "mean" pedicure.I usually rely on the owner to choose my nail color because she seems to study the trends of color and design.All the staff care about the clientele.

Person looks elsewhere when when painting nails. Also way to many layers of paint so the end result is awful. My two year old daughter could do the same job for free.

I will give it another try, the pedicure was excellent, but I had a different person for the manicure and she was rushing thru the process with a less than average result for my nails. It is very clean and comfortable

I go here about once every 2-3 weeks. I get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I'm gonna be honest: I'm on my 3rd evaluation for this place. On 2 past occasions my gel manicure began chipping not even a week into application. So I tried the powder gel manicure this 3rd and final time. If this begins to chip withing 2 weeks, I think I will look for another nail care provider. Not sure if every single woman working there has cosmetology license or may be they are in training/apprenticeship at the salon. UPDATE: the chick painted my cuticles on my toes! Mani still ok but for the pricing and tip I provide ($80 total) I'm not pleased.

What happened to this place? Where is the friendly woman that worked the front desk? I've been going here for years. The pedicures were really good. Better than the nails, in my opinion but my last two times going the 2 Asain nail techs rudly turned me away. Im patient. I'm not sensitive. I'm not extra. I didn't like it and am inspired to change my previously great review to a negative one. I won't . be back We both don't need each other.. I went to Lovely Nails in Millburn. I spent more for a pedicure and it was worth it. Smaller place but very accommodating.

Worst nail & spa place I’ve been to.... I think they’re racist. The staff was very standoffish as if they really didn’t want to serve us because we’re black. Certain services they claimed they don’t provide, but their white & Caucasian customers were given the same service. If you’re Afro American I would not recommend this place. Sad

Went in to get a clean up on my eyebrows and the woman did a terrible job. I told her I didn't want my eyebrows thin, but instead it look like I didn't do anything. I was on a short break at work and I didn't notice how horrible of a job she did until I got home and fully exam it. It was already over priced to begin with, I wanted to go back and demand they redo it for free but I've had too many botched experience with my eyebrows so I didn't even bother, I just know from now on to stick to my Newark shop where they follow what you want and still make your brows look fleeky. Never again

WORST MANICURE!!! DO NOT GO HERE! Not even worth the 1 star! After getting my cuticles sliced open from the nail file, my manicurist left me to do a pedicure on another customer. After about 15 minutes of waiting, another manicurist stepped in while waiting on her customer's pedicure to finish. She did the worst rush job I had ever seen. I wish I didn't have to pay for this disaster she calls a manicure. I also wish I could take a picture of the polish all over my fingers and on top of my cuticles. This manicure looks like a 5 year old painted my nails! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Tried this place for the first time 2 days ago. My first impression was that it seemed like a clean and nice salon, until I sat down for my pedicure. The tub kept draining out all of my water, and instead of switching me to another seat, the tech just kept letting it drain then filled it back up. She acted liked she was cutting my cuticles, but was just tapping the tool around me nail. It was VERY rushed. The same lady, named MAYA, did my manicure and was very very rude. She was doing a sloppy paint job and when I pointed it out and simply asked her to wipe the paint off my finger, she slammed her hands on the table and said "oh my God!" She proceeded to talk about me in Spanish, but didn't know I understood her. In Spanish, I told her to calm down. She then stood up and just walked away. I will NEVER return. Very rude people. Very rushed. Very unprofessional. Very Racist based on what they say about you when they think you don't understand them. Have some respect.
