Got a massage with David today, he did a wonderful job. Every time I come here it's a fantastic experience. I have come for haircuts, facials and massages. The ambience is very soothing, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Enjoyed the Salt Cave. Relaxing and quiet. Haven't had any benefits from it yet since I've only gone once, but I definitely would go again. Staff were friendly and informative

Today, I went there for the first time and took my 14 yr. old niece and sister. The Experience we recieved today was amazing. Very friendly, professional, and treated us like like we had always been customers. We treated ourselves to facials and shellac manicures and of course the Salt cave session. It was so relaxing. We will definitely be back for another session and the other services they offer.

I have been going to Bien for over 10 years. They do everything from massages, nails, waxing, to hair cuts, color, and up do's.

I love this place! I always request gift cards from family on holidays and occasions. I enjoy hair cuts, pedicures, facials, and time in the salt cave. Super friendly and professional staff! Beautiful Decor and ambience.

Hello. My name is Holly. I was in for a cut and color. I was unhappy with the color. I wanted a blonde color but the crown of my head came out a reddish color. I went back last Saturday to get it correct. It's still not right at all. I spent $165.00 which is a lot for me right now because I'm only working part- time due to my recent back surgery. I don't want to go back to your salon I've lost confindence in the establiment. I've never had a problem with hair color and I've never complained about my hair. This is a first. If the stylist is shown several pictures of the color you want and does not think it's possible they should tell you. I know there are several variables with hair color but that's why you go see a professional and not take your chances with stuff you can buy at cvs. I went for s consult today at another salon. They can fix it but have to do a color correction. I don't have the money and I think I'll have to live with it for now. Again, I did not want reddish hair. Just thought you should know. I feel bad for complaining but I'm really not happy with my hair. Thank you.

Love the salt cave, its so relaxing.

Supposed to be a meditation event in their salt cave. Was okay until haligenerator comes on which over powers the meditation music. Still okay until someone started snoring. After 25 minutes of that, they were drowned out by the person who started coughing non stop for the remainder of the time. If you want to go for the "salt value", it's okay. If you're going for a meditation experience, not so much.

This place was very warming and inviting upon arrival. When we checked in early, the woman at the desk told us we should use the rest room before they bring us down to the cave. There were three of us. So we went. Afterward we sat in the lobby and waited. Ten minutes past our appointment time and my aunt finally went and asked the woman st the desk how much longer. She was confused. Apparently they already took everyone down and started without us. So we missed the first ten minutes and the instructions. They wanted us to wait an hour but we couldn’t. We were able to go in late. It was awkward walking into a session that already started. Without any instruction other than no talking she let us into a dark quiet room. We found chairs (not together because others already claimed their spots) we sat and looked around. My chair wouldn’t recline and every time I tried to adjust it it made too much noise and everyone sat up and looked at me. Actually the screw on the right tore my pants and I was too embarrassed to even say anything. So I just sat in the upright position. My aunt was sitting directly under a light. She had to cover her face the whole time. We didn’t know we had blankets because two of us didn’t have one. I noticed other people had them. My niece didn’t have one either but she got up and walked over to another spot and took one. She also got one for me. When the machine shut off no one came in, everyone just sort of looked around and one by one snuck out quietly. It was definitely a lack of communication. I can definitely see it has potential to be relaxing if the staff explained things and we weren’t sent in late. I personally wouldn’t go again, and the other two woman who came with me also said they would not. Don’t let my review stop you, I say everyone should try it if they are interested. You might have a better experience than we did.

I got a color a couple of months ago with Tiffany. She did a good job on the root and partial highlight so I thought I would book a haircut. She didn't show me the back of my hair after the cut and when I got home I was shocked. There was a section of my hair in the back that looked literally hacked with a knife. I had noticed at the salon that she cut off a lot more hair than I wanted which I wasn't that happy about but the section in the back of my head looked like I had to get gum cut out of my hair. I was so embarrassed to walk around looking like this that I had to go to someone else to fix it. Now my hair is about 6 inches shorter than I wanted. It will take many months to get my hair back to my original length. I just want to warn others so they won't have to go through what I went through.

I've been going to the Salt Cave for about three years and I have had no sinus infection at all. I also have an issue with inflammation do to Rheumatoid Arthritis and it also seems better when I go for a session. I highly recommend this place.

Salt cave experience is nice!

Jenny Ferry

Went there yesterday with my daughter. I’m in love, will go again! Leaned so much! I have been stuffy from sinus infection and when I left it was clear for hours! My daughter wanted a nap after that so to me it relaxed her, so I believe it worked for us both. We bought the sole drink waiting to try it! Both for different reasons exciting! Met three funny ladies also! Win win!

Do not go here for your nails. This place charges $50 to get tips and it takes an hour and a half! Which is not ever over Exaggerating. The polish came off within a week and one fell off. Terrible quality and will not be going back.

The room is beautiful and relaxing. The zero gravity reclining chairs were comfortable and each chair had a blanket in case we got chilly. I honestly felt relaxed, refreshed and in a little less pain. I also felt like i could breathe deeper. I would definitely go again. The woman who did a little tour guide speach was very knowledgeable. They only have 1 salt cave with 12 chairs so you need to make reservations. I wish they sold more in a mid to low range Himalayan Salt Rock items.

The front desk assistant was extremely rude to myself and two other clients while I was there. She quite possibly has the potential to completely bankrupt the business. It was like she doesn’t want the business at all. I also had to call the place three times and leave a message to schedule an appointment in the salt cave. No one called me back until the last time I called. When I was there she potentially could have scheduled all 4 clients inquiring about an appointment, but because of her rudeness, aloof attitude and lack of customer service/sales skills, she scheduled none of us and we were all very interested in an appointment. Too bad! Owner should fire her or she will have no business to go back to soon! Even though I have a paid groupon, I will take my business elsewhere!

Amy McCall

Called to make an appointment for the Salt Cave and a woman named Kay answered and was extremely short and rude with me; I’ll not be patronizing this business. Really need to work on their customer service skills.

Very disappointed in my manicure. I went for a manicure and pedicure yesterday and did not even get to pick my color. I was ushered to get started on my feet soaking before realizing I was not given the opportunity to pick a preferred color. The girl doing my nails asked me what color I was thinking and ran back and forth with a bottle at a time. Overall, not the color I wanted, but my feet were still wet from my pedicure so I was not in the position to be walking around to go look. My manicure lasted maybe 5 minutes before she began painting my nails. My nails were filed and my DRY cuticles were somewhat tended to. That was it! No water, she did not smooth out my rough nails, I did not wash my hands. She painted right over the filings from the shaping/filing. Then, when I went to pay and ask for change in order to tip the girl, they said no, they didn't have change and that I could go somewhere else to get some. Overall I would not recommend getting your nails done there if you expect a job well done. My nails look as though I had an afternoon free and did them myself.

Went there for the first time the other day to have my hair colored. My hairstylist that I have been going to the past 5 years just wasn’t really listening to what I was saying when I kept telling her I needed a new style! I always walked out with the same style. Anyway, I am SO SO HAPPY I went to bien soigne ! I got Renee and that girl is such an ARTIST! My hair has never looked so great. She was so friendly and Professional , greeted me with a big smile ,took her time consulting with me as to what i was looking for with my color and cut and I left there looking like a million bucks! I love my color and my new blonde hilights ! And as for my haircut ... totally new , totally different and exactly what I wanted ! Thank you so much Renee. You have a client for life !

I bought two Groupons, one for me and one for a friend. I tried to make reservations but when prompted to give my friends full name, and full address - I opted out. I will not give out my friends information whose gift this was. I was not able to make reservations and just showed up. We were told there was not room and not for the next hour either. The lady was very brief, like she didn't want our business, not making other time/date suggestions, which made us unwanted.

So I made an appointment on line day of for the salt cave and got a confirmation email, I arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment and come to find out they were unable to provide the salt cave therapy due to staffing issues. Need I say NO PHONE CALL to let me know I just found out when I arrived after I booked babysitting for it. Just a sorry bud I think we sent you an email regarding this. I have got my wife numerous massages from the salt cave before and she thinks they do a great job. This was my first experience here and needless to say I will not be back or reccommend it to anyone else.

The salt cave was very relaxing and comforting. Although we had a great experience, the front desk had messed up our booking time, so they made it feel like it was our fault. It was adjusted to a later time. After driving all the way up here, we didn't want to have to come back another day after driving so far. It's a bit pricy; $40 for 45 minutes of sitting in a dark room. It did help my congestion so I give them credit, and would like to come back again at a later date. Hopefully they can manage to put me in the correct time slot.

Never buy a groupon through them! My mother got 4 groupons from them. First visit my sister printed up groupon, they gave her a hard time about it, even with the code on it. Then we went in for sessions 2 and 3, and booked the 4th session with my sister. When my sister went in for the 4th session, the receptionist told her they needed to see the groupon, yet it was already "paid for" and placed in the system because we booked it. Receptionist told us we would have no problem, apparently we did!

Tdrizz

I redeemed a Groupon deal for the salt cave. Excellent price of $19 to try it out for first time. I booked my appointment online as there is a specific drop-down menu to redeem groupon appointment . Entered all my info picked day and time done. Got a confirmation for next day at 3 pm for my appointment. Confirm type C text on my phone . So far pretty easy. Until the next day of my appointment.. I had two unexpected appointments the same day and one would definitely make me late. So I called as soon as they opened . The receptionist was a sweetheart. She said not a problem . I was able to book my appointment at 9am ( yes the door is open)the next day. I was greeted by two friendly staff members (sorry not good on names) I was walked down to the salt cave by one of the girls and she explained everything about the use of Himalayan salt, the benefits, things it helps and even better I had the room to my self. It was a very relaxing and cleansing experience. After my session I went to desk to find prices of other services and I was informed that if I booked my appointment next time for salt cave (which I most definitely will) online the owner set up a great deal. Each session will be $20 . Which is half price of normal visit. The Groupon is a one time use . But who cares . Book an appointment online $20 I am there . Highly recommend....

I am honestly not comfortable giving this salon one star but I need to click on a star to post this review. I had been to this salon a few times in the past for manicures & things went well. So, I recommended my daughter try them for a hair color. I went with my daughter to this appointment & it was the worst customer service experience of my life. I have never been so upset as a customer in my life. I have never actually posted a negative review before but did not feel like I could walk away from this experience without sharing. The poor treatment extended from the hair dresser to the receptionist & finally to the owner. The horrible customer service ranged from an unpleasant stylist to lights turned off while they worked on my daughter's hair, to charging my card while I was struggling to find the ladies room in a dark hallway to complaints about being there late & having a half hour drive home to interrogating my daughter like she was a criminal to not giving the owner a message to call me the next day. It continued with no one ever calling me so I then needed to reach out - to my daughter being blamed - to not taking any ownership of the situation - to hanging up on me. I could write out more details but it would take too long. I am willing to share with anyone if they want to reach out. I would never recommend this salon & I would actually discourage anyone from ever going again.

A staff that cares about quality. The hair and nail professionals are up date to date and professional. The Salt Cave is a relaxing and has an almost mystical feel. Strongly recommend

The salt cave experience was the most relaxed I have been in months. Most of the staff was nice, one young woman was a bit rude about pricing. The place seems to be in the middle of updating, so it leaves a feeling of being unkempt.

I have debated several weeks about posting this review but feel it necessary to do so. Booked a visit to salt cave for myself and two friends for a girls day, took day off and drove the hour there. Unfortunately it was a just okay day at the spa.. There was confusion right away for what we were there for, the receptionist was not at all friendly or welcoming and made us feel as though we were troubling her from the beginning. Asking for a glass of water became a regular part of the day as we had to ask after every service and you would have though we were asking for solid gold in a cup! Actually getting a dixie cup of water at one point. The salt cave/room was very relaxing and we did enjoy that time. However from there it went down hill. The massages seemed to be from the "B" team with little experience and a just okay massage, completely skipping feet, and hands. My pedicure was good and the woman providing it was very professional but my friends got a new girl and she was awful! One of them had to get her nails redone after the massage as they were a mess and paint already coming off. The 2nd one of my friends got her pedicure from the same girl while I was having mine done and I was amazed to see she didn't even wipe the lotion off the toes before she painted them. When we left my friend still had lotion in the corner of her toes and lotion painted over them. It has been two weeks and my toes look good, the other two have completely clear toenails as the paint came off in days. Very disappointing for a $65.00 pedicure! Then a week later I receive a call from said receptionist that we have appointments the next day and need to come early as we have never been before??? Appointments we didn't make. So $165.00 for an okay visit to a spa seems to be wasted. I would not recommend this business to my friends.

Jaclyn Foley

I’ve never had such a bizarre, strange experience. The owner is extremely unprofessional and kicked me out of the salon!! With my hair soaking wet, she approached me and told me to leave with no explanation. I was shocked and caught off guard. I am assuming it was because I gave another salon my business and haven’t been back in a while. I’m shocked at how I was treated and the poor stylist was shocked as well and told me she can’t wait to leave because the owner is unprofessional. It is unfortunate a business owner could be so rude and unprofessional...I recommend giving your business to another salon. Fortunately everything worked out in my favor because I found another local salon and I couldn’t be happier! However I recommend steering clear from this place, unless you want to be treated with utmost disrespect.

Gary Benoit

This was fun and unique and worth the price we payed, but not exactly sure if we could afford to go there on a regular basis. You basically sit in zero gravity lounge chairs, with blankets provided and you just sit and relax, breathing in salt air. This is supposed to help promote a cleansing of your airway, a health benefit. I'm not sure, not a doctor. Also, you do have to make reservations in advance and you maybe sharing the room with other people. Everyone is wearing clothing. My wife and I just happened to luck out and had the room too ourselves, which was very peaceful.

Meredith Chiricosta

I must admit, I was not the easiest bride to work with when it comes to hair and makeup. I had 3 hair trials and 2 makeup trials, but the ladies at Bien Soigne never batted an eye. They made me, my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and were incredibly accommodating along the way. A special shout out to Sara Beth (hair), Abby (makeup), and Candy (highlights). I loved them so much I will start going to them for my regular hair appointments (even though I live in Mass.!)

The best experience in the salt cave. Completely amazing!

Tiffany Meoli

The 5 stars is not for the rude owner but for the masseuse. The owner is probably one of the most unprofessional people I have met. There was an error in our appointments that we had schedule over a month before and drove an hour to get to. All we were told is that whoever scheduled it, made a mistake. Mistakes happen, I get it, but absolutely nothing was done or offered to make up for it. We were told we had two options, reschedule or get our money back. Not the best customer service at all! We rescheduled and I am so glad we did! Gary gave by far the best massage I’ve ever had. He was so thorough and attentive. If you can deal with a rude and unapologetic owner, see Gary, I promise he is worth it! My sister had a massage as well with Kristen and loved her as well.

Jane Ravenelle

I have never been more upset. I was given a gift certificate for a 1 hour massage for two people in the salt cave. The gift certificate was purchased in December 2017 and the gift giver paid $180.00. The gift certificate did not have a dollar amount listed on the it, it stated what the service was I.e. 1 hr. Massage for 2 in the salt cave. I was unable to redeem the gift certificate until today. After the massage (which was wonderful by the way), the owner proceeded to tell me I owed her an additional $30.00 as their prices had increased..... seriously. The gift certificate referenced a service - not a price... regardless, after paying her - regrettably, once home, I checked the website and the price is still listed as $180.00 for 2 for 1 hr massage in the salt cave. She is a con artist. I asked her where on her website did it say that after 1 year of no use, they would not honor the amount paid and charge you more for a price increase. She could not...... that’s because it is not listed anywhere on her site... beware.
