Booked a massage here on our last trip and it was awesome. I had the men's area all to myself at 11am on a Thursday. I spent about an hour going from the hot tub to the sauna to the steam room and back before the appointment. The spa has all of your usual ammenities, water, juices, fruit, grooming products. I had an 80 minute personalized massage where I explained to the therapist that I have had lower back issues for years and for the last couple of months have been waking up with a sore back every morning. She got to work and told me that my upper middle back had very deep tightness. So I guess she did a little deep tissue which I absolutely hated. I swear because I am a big, fairly muscular guy, everyone thinks they have to completely jam their elbows into my back. It was pretty painful but I have to say that I could not complain with the results. My back felt pretty good for the rest of the day and the next morning I woke up without back pain for the first time in months. I guess she knew what I needed.

I've gone to several spas before but none compare to the Vdara! The staff was awesome, they did a fantastic job not letting the women's spa locker room get too crowded along with the meditation room etc. Carrie was my therapist and OMG, she was AMAZING!! I told her my problem areas and i came out feeling like a new person. Can not give this spa enough stars.

My Spa experience was THE WORST EVER massage, both personally & professionally. I have had MANY massages all over the country so I have a vast amount of experience to compare. First of all, the young lady put so much COLD oil on me it was pathetic. She clearly did not know what she was doing....I felt like I was being oiled down and was so slick that there was no way I could have had a decent massage. She rubs all over me, she DID NOT massage me. It was terrible. She puts these rocks in my hand, so I after I close my eyes she throws my robe on me startles me and says get dressed and you pay me downstairs. After I dress and want to use the amenities, I ask her where do I go? She POINTS and says follow them( there were 2 people headed that way) always before I have been taken to the steam room etc by my person who just finished my massage. I at this point I am furious. She & her skills SUCKED big time. The hot tub is lukewarm and the steam room is so extremely HOT you can't stay very long. I told the staff and the Mgr. D'Andrew my unpleasant experience with this woman. He offered me another appointment, which I could not take due to departing the next morning. I will NEVER EVER be back....I will go back to Bellagio and Wynn. I tried Vdara because it was supposed to be so highly ranked. I guess the person who awarded the Vdara with 5 Stars has never had a massage before or a REAL massage to compare with.

One of the best massages I've ever had. Staff was SO welcoming and warm from the moment we were greeted. All areas immaculate and lovely. Loved my experience!!

I got the ESPA escape and it was amazing! It is very customizable and the aromatherapy was so relaxing and wonderful. The woman giving the massage was very knowledgeable, and you could tell she really enjoyed her career. I also really enjoyed the way she presented the various treatments that I was about to receive. She put the clays and lotions on an elegant little tea tray. The color palette was very pleasing to the eye, and really made the experience feel authentic and unique. She went through each element and described the benefits to each, and gave advice on what she thought would go well with my skin type and my specific needs. Before and after the treatment I also made use of the facilities: sauna, stream room, showers, vanity area, etc. They also had lemon water, cucumber water, teas, spa cookies, granola, and many juices to choose from. I have been to a few high end spas, and I will point to one notable difference which I found amusing: towel service. For example, Burke Williams in Southern California is a relatively high end spa. The towels are continuously being replaced by the always-working staff. On the other end of the spectrum is ESPA. The towels are available, but are sparse---which seems like a bad thing, but it is definitely not! You take a towel from a spot where it has elegantly been displayed, and then when you walk by this spt again, it has just magically been replaced! This level of attention is amazing, and I think it speaks a lot toward the experience in general. This is a place that I will certainly make a primary destination on any return trips to Las Vegas.

Very modern. Wonderful staff and lovely design. Has a tram that will connect you to other parts of the strip just incase you do not want to walk in the vegas heat.

I had the most amazing experience at ESPA this week! My massage therapist, Carrie, could not have been sweeter and gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. She was super personable, checked in often about pressure, and made me feel super comfortable. I would definitely return on my next trip to Vegas!

I just stayed at Vdara, and had the chance to go to ESPA after a hard day of work. I have been here a few times, and it is different every time I come. I always enjoy the meditation room, it is very low key, relaxing, and I love listening to the running water. The whole spa is very low key, and never crowded. There is a good sized workout area, with all the necessary equipment to get in a typical workout. I booked an 80 minute deep tissue sports therapy massage this time. The massage was just average. I was pretty sore from my previous day workout, and walking 7 miles for work today. I was hoping the massage would help fix some of my soreness. Unfortunately, the girl that did my massage was a bit lazy. It was not deep tissue at all, and I could hardly feel it because she was so light on my legs. (Even after requesting deeper pressure) The cost was $300, plus their mandatory 18 percent tip. Bad value in my opinion. The spa staff was professional and somewhat attentive. Untimately, I was able to relax and enjoy the hot tub, steam room, meditation room and sauna. They had a wide variety of drinks, and fruit, also provided razors, and all the typical stuff at spas. Not sure I would do a $300 massage again. They charge somewhere around $70 to come use the facilities, which is probably a bit over priced also.
