Serene, relaxing and enjoyable. I had a pedicure and a facial. Both were exactly what I was looking for. I'm pregnant, and one of their indoor warm pools was perfect temperature to allow a pregnant mama soak. A nice treat since it was a cold day out, and all that was left otherwise were hot tubs and saunas (no go with pregnancy).

The elder woman who did my hair bleached my shirt. I thought this was suppose to be professional not messy. If you know someone's shirt may get bleached put a towel or something on their back to keep it from touching the clothing !!!!!! Smh. Idc who's fault it is.

I'm very torn on writing this review. I recently had a destination wedding at the JW Marriott and since the spa is in the hotel it was convenient to book hair/makeup appointments. Joni the office manager was fantastic! She was very accommodating and helpful. I love her! The hair all turned out wonderful, except be aware they are quick to charge extra for hair length (which is outrageous) my $180 bride package ended with an extra $20 for my hair for being mid back. However the makeup services were something to be desired. The only one who had good results with makeup was my mother. My two sisters had a girl who did a terrible job. Could not match foundation, didn't contour, highlight and added terrible lip colors. They looked extremely washed out. And this artist was young, she should be knowledgeable. Eyelashes came with my package HOWEVER, they only had crazy dramatic ones to chose from or the little inserts. And they are the cheap ones you can buy at Wal-Mart. I mean seriously they charge $25 for it. Had I known this I would have brought my own. That was very disappointing. The girl who did my hair was great but my makeup was disappointing. There was no contouring, I was very pale and my eyebrow color did not match at all. After being so late I didn't even have time to fix it. Overall, I would not recommend getting makeup done here, but the hair services were good. They do not have a portfolio of any work they have done, which should have been my first clue.

It was January and my friend and I used not only the outdoor hot tub, but the heated circuit pool too. It was beautiful and peaceful. We followed up the outdoor experience with massages. There's more to Rampart than slots! Give the spa a try.

The ladies locker room and spa area turned out gorgeous. I love this spa, but it is crazy expensive for what you get.

I came here yesterday for a facial and massage. The facial was fantastic. The massage - the worst I've ever had. The therapists hands were rough, she had no technique at all. She squirted oil on me that literally splattered in my face (face down in pillow) because she did it from so high and so much. The lotion was freezing cold. It was more of a bad run down than a massage. She tucked the bed sheet into my underwear - so awkward!!!! We paid for an added for scrub. What a joke. She scrubbed on the top of my feet until they were raw. Again. No technique. And didn't even wash it off all the way. I left with sand grit all over my feet. She tried to do a scalp massage but really only created a massive rats nest knot w my hair. I was disgusted. When she was done she didn't even close the door all the way for me to get dressed because the crappy door kept getting stuck!!!! I went and showered and was slimey because of all of the stuff she put on me. It was terrible. Over priced for what it was. I had high hopes but they seriously were worse than even massage envy!!!!!

Service started out great then slowly went downhill. Two weeks before my stay, I booked an appointment for 1 quench manicure and pedicure and 1 paradise manicure and pedicure. Then 1 week before, I got an e-mail from the hotel saying if I used the concierge I would get 20% off so I got them to confirm my appointment for said services and get me the discount. Come appointment time, we were immediately greeted by the counter attendant and shown a preview of our bill. It had 2 quench manicures and pedicures listed for us and no discount. That was a easy fix and no big deal since it was a just a preview so the attendant said he would have the proper pricing for us when we were through. We had pedicures first. The temperature was great in the foot bath and massage chairs were awesome. My cosmetologist made good conversation and I had slightly ticklish massage and what I thought was a decent pedicure. Then we had manicures and service started feeling a little rushed. I still got the full service of wonderful smelling lotions and mini-massage but after painting I noticed a clear spot on my left ring fingernail. I pointed it out the lady and who immediately responded, "Did you bump it?" I just spent $100 on these nails, why would I bump it? I said no so then she said because of the color I chose (pale pink), it just took a little more paint for full coverage. She redid the nail and the one beside it which also had a clear spot I did not notice. Afterwards, she spritz the drying aid, told us we could stay and relax as long as we wanted then immediately left to get a different patron settled in for a haircut. I prefer relaxing in front of a TV so we went to check out at the counter. There was a different attendant. She pulled out a receipt and I asked before looking if our discount was applied. She said yes, looked at it, then said we had the wrong discount. The first attendant had given us 30% which is the locals discount which I assume was because of the booking error but we are apparently, definitely not locals, so she changed our discount to the 20%. I didn't really consider that a problem until I went back to room and did the math which showed that I actually only got an 18% discount which is close enough, right? But then also got a $1.50 charge from some other room which I have no clue what it was for. That charge is so small so whatever but still, it's the principle of the matter. Now, for reference, without corrective lenses, my toes are blurry. What I thought was a decent pedicure, was actually not. Upon closer inspection, I found paint on my skin. Looking at my fingers, the paint doesn't even reach the cuticle on all on my fingers. Yes, I can agree, the color I chose would make it hard to see clearly where my nail stopped but come on. To top it off, not two days later the paint is chipping, and not at the front edge. Nobody's perfect but if I can get a better paint job for $10 at Wal-Mart, why the hell should anyone go to Spa Aquae??

Amazing spa and staff

Four of six showers in the mens lounge have been out of order for the last two years and no attempt has been made to fix them. One would expect much better from the JW Marriott name.

Oh boy. I am from out of town and did a lot of research on spas. This place was a HUGE disappointment. There is no access to towels outside - you have to grab your own and walk outside with it. There was not enough pool side lounge chairs outside. People would "save" their chair and leave for hours without using their chair so chair space ran out and there's nobody to regulate it. Ridiculous. There are no bottle waters available unless you know to look in the refrigerator. The spa areas outside are almost all not working. The staff was friendly but the place could definitely use a facelift.

Save your money, time, and sanity, and go to nearly any other spa in Las Vegas. As a Las Vegas/Summerlin local nearly my entire life, I’ve been to Spa Aquae many times - but I’ll never go back after my last experience, and I’ve warned many of my family and friends to do the same. I won’t go into the gory detail, but it left me literally crying in the manicure chair just waiting for the entire experience to be over. Management of this spa, and the Marriott as a whole, has gone extremely downhill over the years. Their facilities haven’t been updated in probably 20 years, and it shows. I’m disgusted with the way I was treated and the general lack of hospitality shown at this property.

EXCELLENT SALON AND SPA SERVICES WIT DANIELLE AND KRISTIN Love the staff and services at Spa Aquae. My two favorite staff members are Danielle in the salon and Kristin in the spa. Have been going to Danielle for a couple years now and she does an amazing job with my cut, color and pedis. We hit it off as well from the start ... warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I'm a newer client of Kristin's and was instantly a fan. She's not only a wealth of knowledge about skin and nutrition but has such a kind demeanor. I have had two custom facials done and my skin is evolving already. Both have done not only do such an excellent job with what but are just two amazing women that I look forward not only to being pampered by, but who enrich my life. As for the rest of the staff ... super helpful and friendly. The facility relaxing and clean. I highly recommend!!!
