I have been using theSanctuary's spa services for several years now and always excited for my next visit. I am able to go early and enjoy the steamroom, then relax in the spa waiting area...love the dim lighting, soft music and sipping the hot tea in the solitude away from the salon and reception area. Even though the area is small I have never felt as though it was congested. They are great about making sure everyone is comfortable with a drink and neck wrap before and after services. All the gals are great, but I really appreciate the extra attention Karmen gives to finding and working out those knots and kinks. Their gift cards are great I have given them out as gifts for baby showers, bridal showers, etc... and it takes the guess work out of what to buy me.... my hubby gets me a gift card every year for my birthday and loads it up so it is the gift that gives all through the year.

This review is for their spa and nail services. Facials, massages, pedicures and manicures. They do a wonderful job! Very professional and will listen to your requests so don't be afraid to ask. The spa area is built to be relaxing and calm. Definitely recommend arriving early and taking advantage of the steam room. It's in the spa area if you are unsure where it is just ask your spa attendant and they'll show you exactly where it is.

So disappointed with this place, I called to book an appointment and instead of a friendly helpful response I got push back that I first needed to take more time out of my day to come in for a consultation before I could book an appointment. Which I’ve had my hair done their before (a year or two ago) What a joke! Who has that much time? I never knew booking a hair appointment could be difficult. I would suggest they reevaluate their process from a business stand point. It’s a huge turnoff to customers.

Today I decided to give Sanctuary Spa a second chance. I have been using various services there since 2005. I used to receive great service, but recently in the past few years, I have had some bad experiences from getting my eyes burned by hot wax to walking around with the wrong hair color not to mention, the unfinished haircut. The last time I tried to contact the stylist to fix the cut, I found out she no longer works there, so I guess she doesnt have to fix her mistake. Then today I received a new stylist thinking fresh start, however this lady was so rude, almost mean. I had to leave before she took her unhappy behavior out on me. I think Sanctuary in going downhill fast in the customer service department. Would not go back .

Went for my first massage ever. Scheduling was easy - staff was more than friendly - Sam the masseuse was friggin' fantastic and I can't say anything bad at all about my experience. Go early for the steam room and don't go back to work after you're done. A+

I had a very horrible experience at this salon. The ladies were rude and I felt the entire salon was very pretentious. In addition, when I had a problem with what they charged me (with proof of what should be charged), they acted as if it were my fault that their system hasn't been updated. Its safe to say I won't be going back.

I used to go here more frequently, but now it's really only when my family gives me a gift card - and I recently told them I don't want another gift card from Sanctuary. Their staff can come across as untrained in the basics of making customers feel welcome. Call to make an appointment - you're put on hold. The person who finally answers the phone speaks mostly in monosyllables and offers you one appointment time - two, if you insist - in the next 2 weeks. When you arrive, nobody acknowledges you for several minutes, although there are several employees standing at the reception desk, and then you wait 5, 10, as long as 20 minutes or more for services you reserved 2 weeks in advance and arrived on time for. You're a number in a place that's very busy and isn't very concerned about whether you come back or not. The salon and spa services are fine, but not special enough to compensate for walking out feeling processed through rather than taken good care of.

This place is a joke. I was so overly disgusted with the rude service I got I will never go back. I went there for the first time a while back and from the second I walked in I felt out of place.I went in for a haircut and a pedicure. They did not make me feel welcome, in fact when I approached the front desk the girl behind the desk seems quiet annoyed that I was bothering her. She was very short and would not smile once. Then I went back for my pedicure and was not pleased with how rude my nail tech was. She didn't seem to want to be there. I made more conversation with the tech Ashley next to her and the client she had than my own tech. My haircut was sub par but I was not overly pleased with it even though my stylist was nice enough. All together my experience there was not thrilling. I read the other reviews and see they are from clients who have gone for a long time, and I wonder how people got past the rude people who work there to want to come back?! This girl will not be a returning customer nor will I refer my friends.
