I made an appointment online then called to make sure enough time was allowed for a cut and dye with bayalage. They said I needed more time so moved my appointment to that afternoon. When I got there I was told the stylist was running behind and then I was told when I got back there that they wouldn't have time to do any dye. I told my stylist that they changed my appointment time already to have enough time to do it and she said "Oh they must have not known. We'll schedule it for another day", so all I got was a cut. I felt like I had to keep coaxing on the cut to get it close to the picture I had brought and finally just gave up and said it's fine. Very disappointed today.

Long time customer .Decent staff sometimes friendly and sometimes average. I've had a few bad experiences but love Aveda and chose to give them an extra chance. The last time I was in I was treated badly. My shampoo rang up more than the tag and she acted like she would correct it and then said it was supposed to be more so she left it. After she was rude I told her I didn't want it. I was blown away by her rudeness. I will not be returning and will make sure to let everyone know how the staff treats there longtime customers.

My daughter had her hair colored at this salon. The stylist told her it would be $100 max and when she went to leave they charged her $129 because they said she "chose" to have it styled and dried. She was never given a choice, they just did it. Also, when I have my hair colored my stylist always drys it to make sure the color is acceptable. I called and spoke to the manager and she was absolutely rude! The stylist did a great job. She should find a more honest place to work!

I've been going here for a little over 10 years now. I get massages once a month. Some times I really need them, other times not so much. Regardless I'll not give up my time slot month to month as I found the place that's perfect for me. Staff is always friendly and always offers something to drink while you wait for you appointment. My massage therapist "Jen" is wonderful and I wouldn't trade her for a winning lottery ticket. I'll continue to frequent the place as long as Jen is there.

First of all, if this review was based on my stylist it would be five stars all the way - she is everything I could want and more which is why it hurts my heart to write this. The one star is based on the salon itself. I have given a lot of thought over the past month as to whether to write this and it still really bugs me and everyone I have told about this says the story needs to be told, so here goes... Went there last month and got a color and blow dry - no cut. When I went to pay I found I was charged $35 for a "cut, blow dry and style" (I do not get an itemized bill until after I pay, which in retrospect I also do not care for). I let the lady at the front desk know she charged me in error. I am not sure of her name but it’s the one who has been there for a while – she is a shorter blond lady with glasses and shoulder length blond hair who works the front desk on Saturdays – anyway she agreed she had charged me in error and then informed me she would be crediting me back…$5… Wait, what? She overcharged me $35 for a haircut I didn’t get and she is going to credit me back, $5? I thought I heard wrong. When I asked her about it again, instead of apologizing, she rather condescendingly informed me that apparently, a blow dry is $30 and a haircut is $5. I told her that wasn’t right, and all she said, in a very short manner, is “that is their policy.” I’ve been a loyal customer at Ami for two years now. I show up when I am supposed to, I never cancel, always tip well, am always pleasant, etc. In other words, the type of client I would think they'd want to keep around. If I was in her shoes, after making such an error I would at the very least apologize and would damn sure credit every last cent of that money back, if nothing else for the principle of the matter, I could NEVER feel good about keeping money that was taken in error...especially from a client! What I would I definitely would not do is get an attitude, or insult my client's intelligence by making them think our haircuts are only $5 and our blow drying is $30, and I would definitely not treat them in such a way to make them think that they do not matter and are not worthy of being treated with courtesy and respect. I have had plenty of time to think about it, and as much as I love my stylist, I have noted the fact that my business is apparently not important or needed, and for that reason I will be taking my business elsewhere. The most essential part of any relationship is trust, which has been broken…it makes me very sad that my very talented and wonderful stylist is the one who will have to lose a client, and for that I am sorry. I also can’t help but wonder how many times in the past she has overcharged me that I haven’t caught, from reading other reviews among other things. I am very glad the credit card number she got from me when I first signed up has long since expired. Check those bills my friends, BEFORE you pay...and be sure to ask for their $5 haircut the next time you visit.

I came in with red hair and wanted brown hair with lighter caramel highlights. I know its hard to switch but my hair looks pretty much identical to when I came in. I can't see a difference and i'm very disappointed. Especially when i paid 250 for the whole thing. I know my hair is long but its overly priced. I wouldn't mind the price if i got the results i was wanting, i wasn't expecting much but for it to look almost the same is ridiculous. To make matters worse there is still red in my hair as well! My friend bought me a 30 minute prenatal massage. Staff was friendly. Bathroom and store was very clean. My massage was incredibly relaxing. Beforehand she was clear about what to expect and to speak up if anything hurt. Nothing hurt, she eased my lower back pain, and I have never had someone massage my face/head and she did and it was lovely. Can't wait to book a longer massage here after I have my baby. Highly recommend.

My experience here was great. My stylist was Channel, and I was very happy with my cut and color. She definitely listened to what I wanted. She also did a great job on my eyebrows. I am 8 months pregnant with twins, so getting a massage and warm towel was a nice bonus that I wasn’t expecting. I definitely felt pampered and will come back.

Very Poor customer service. I had been given a 250.00 gift cert that I had not been able to use for some time, when I tried to use it I got no where with them. The girl answering the phone had an awful attitude and hung up on me. Now that I am in town full time I was looking for a new salon for all my needs. It will not be this one. It seems they are "wonderful"only when it suits them.

We started the morning here was the ladies part of our family Staycation. With massages and facials, there were 4 of us, we were thrilled with such amazing care. Hot towels, aromatherapy and every little detail. Such a great experience, we will be back. See the massage therapist Sarah-she’s a gem.

Absolutely terrible!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They lie about what they charge, force you to pay twice as much and then force a 20% gratuity on top of that for terrible service! They don't care about their customers and couldn't give a crap how you feel the service was. Used dirty towels and disgusting tools on pedicures. I will never ever go back to this place!
