The Cedar Creek Spa at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson is the ultimate spa experience. I especially like the hot stone massages there, but visitors can select from a vast menu of services. Because Big Cedar Lodge and Top of the Rock are enmeshed, any visit to this fine resort is stunning. During the spring, you can expect the property to be a lush and forested natural retreat. During the holidays, the entire area is a spectacle of lights. Tree trunks line the walls and seem to bring the forest inside.

Awesome vacation

Great spa. Come early and hit the grotto. Their wine is terrible so sneak liquor if you want to do it right.

First of all this spa is beautiful. I had two separate experiences- I would give 5 stars for the couples’ massage and spa day that my husband and I enjoyed two days after our wedding but only 3 stars for my experience getting hair and makeup done here for my wedding day. My hair I was reasonably happy with, though I thought we had agreed she would touch up my natural curls instead of straightening my curls out completely and then curling my hair, which is what she did. I didn’t love the shape of the curls but I still liked the style overall. My sister’s updo was very pretty and my flower girl looked cute (though they charged her more than we were quoted on the phone). My wedding day makeup looked pretty good...for about an hour or less. It wasn’t even a warm day, but within less than an hour it started separating on my skin and looking blotchy. By the time I put my dress on and saw my groom for the first look I was actually almost in tears because it looked so cakey/ blotchy and I didn’t know how to fix it. When I cried a couple happy tears during our first look it streaked terribly. I had my sister in law do her best to fix it and it looked better when she fixed it than it had originally. I don’t know if the salon put too much on or didn’t set it properly or if it was the products themselves, but I definitely felt the makeup was a total waste of money given how quickly it looked bad after she finished. I had offers from friends to do my makeup for free but thought a professional meant it would look better and last longer. I was very disappointed. The massage therapists definitely knew what they were doing and the grotto pool and spa amenities were lovely. The pricing at this place is VERY pricey- and even at the high price point they charge extra for scented oils which are almost always included in my past experience with massages. In my opinion this takes away a bit from the feeling of luxury and being pampered. We were actually gifted the massages by Big Cedar after they made a mistake with our honeymoon reservation. It was a nice gesture to make up for their mistake and it was a relaxing end to our stay.

I had my hair done here by Kate for my wedding at Big Cedar and had a great experience! I have straight hair that doesn’t hold curl great, but Kate pulled off some long-lasting curls and a beautiful style! I was very impressed! She is also very kind and pleasant to talk to while getting your hair done. The salon was clean and quiet. Overall a great experience, highly recommend!

Very nice & relaxing place, but pedicure was not how they describe it. Still have rough heels with with dead skin around tough nails.

I only gave this spa one star for the facilities, as it is incredibly beautiful and looks very high class. And their whirlpool is fantastic. It is worth noting that I have never posted a bad review for anything else, anywhere, ever...but our experience here was so bad that I can’t help but say something about it. I have had a few different services here, including a massage, a facial, and a pedicure. While the other services I have had done were average, the pedicure was without exaggeration, the worst and most expensive pedicure I have ever received. We went the day before my sister’s wedding and by the time we left, my sister was nearly in tears because the woman doing her nails did such a poor job, and was rude to her on top of it. (My lady did a poor job too, but at least she was nice.) Both of them literally seemed like they had received no training on how to do nails professionally. They did absolutely no nail or polish shaping for our French pedicures, and for $75, our pedicures lasted about 25 minutes each. AND we were charged gratuity AND, on top of that, extra for wanting French tips. We would have tipped anyway, because we are not the kind of people who don’t tip...but it’s the principle of the matter. If you want a decent pedicure, save your money and go to En Vogue in Branson. They are cheaper, have much better customer service, and they do an amazing job.

The BEST spa experience ever! Do yourself a favor and ask for Naomi or Jodi. Couples spa experience is phenomenal! Worth the price. Stay and enjoy the grotto pool after your treatment. Other reviews complain about the price. This is a first class, luxury spa. The atmosphere is exquisite and the service 5 star. It is worth every penny. You will be so thankful and feel wonderful!

My wife and I have been here twice and love it. They have an amazing grotto pool that you can hang out in for hours. Adjacent to the grotto pool is an ice room where you can cool down before hopping back in the pool. In the men's and women's section of the spa, there are hot tubs, steam rooms, and a comfortable waiting area.

VERY expensive and not the greatest pedicure.

Great service but a bit pricey.
