Bought my wife a gift certificate for her birthday and when she tried on three separate occasions to make an appointment the phone just rang. I'm not impressed if this is the type of service she will receive once she actually gets through to someone.

Received a gift certificate for this spa and just made my appointment. I have not been to this spa yet but the appointment process had a lot to be desired. After providing my name the person on the phone noted that I had a gift certificate on file and still wanted a credit card to hold the appointment. I find this irritating in the fact that they already have the total amount of the service already paid for. Additionally, she further told me that if there was someone else that books a service for the same room right after me that my service may be cut short. Really? Shouldn't I get the total service that I booked? Needless to say, I've disliked the process so far. Hopefully the service is better than making the appointment.

My first time at a spa and I must say I will return! I received a facial from Alissa. It was great. She really cares about your skin and her hands feels like silk. Very relaxing! Can’t wait to come back

I went here to get a mani and pedi prior to going on vacation. I was very happy with my experience when I left my appointment. Beautiful facility and very nice staff. Two days after getting the shellac manicure the polish started to completely peel off. I called the spa and was told that they cannot guarantee how long the shellac polish will stay on. I was offered a “re-do” however they could not accommodate seeing me the same day and I left for vacation the following day. I had to remove the polish at home and repaint my nails the night before leaving. I am disappointed in the overall customer service I received. I likely won’t be returning to this salon for any services in the future.

This is a nice spa. It has a calming environment and the spa looks well put together. Daveisha is great! She did my microdermabrasion. She is very knowledgeable and was extremely thorough when doing my facial. It didn't feel rushed and I noticed a difference in my skin right away. Will be returning soon for another facial.

My daughter and I have been long-time clients, typically spending $4500+/year (cut, color, waxing, manis, pedis, facials, etc). Recently, I asked the head stylist to cut my hair to the middle of my back, with the shortest layer being near my shoulders so I can still pull it back. She cut all my hair to my shoulders - 10 inches. After several attempts, I was finally able to speak with the manager. I simply and politely asked that I not be charged for the haircut. She committed to get back to me the next day. I never heard back, despite the fact that I called back twice more. Invariably, you’re eventually going to run into a problem as a customer. You can tell a lot about a company by the way they respond, or don’t in this case.

I have been going to the same nail specialist for over 10 years!!! She is awesome and does a meticulous job. The shelak artificial nail coat is supposed to just last 2 weeks, and mine usually lasts longer, even though my hands are always in water, and my hands are always dry (more in the . winter) The people that work at Solimar are always very friendly, and professional and caring. I highly recommend them (especially for Mom's day, weddings, birthdays etc.)

Going to Solimar Spa for me is like going to an oasis in our hectic, stress filled lives, it me time and I feel pampered and rejuvenated.I love the touches to details, locker and soft robes ,comfy slippers, with a warm neck wrap and tea! I can feel the tension going as I remember my experience at Solimar Spa!

I love the peaceful feeling, Solimar provides before you experience their services. When you walk in the staff is polite and the waiting area is dim with soft relaxing sounds. You can wear a Solimar robe and sip on a cup of organic tea or drink cold water with a slice of lemon. Whether you are coming in for a pedicure or a message, Solimar will leave you feeling amazing.

Not sure what type of treatment or experience I had since I keep getting emails to review my service but I haven't been in to Solimar for months - maybe almost a year. But thinking back to my last services so long ago, I had a series of bad haircuts so I now go someplace else. And my last two deep tissue massages - I was told they didn't have a therapist with the strength to get in to work my muscles out. I used to get really good ones from Taylor, but she went elsewhere. So I haven't been back in a long time and I think they have my email attached to someone else's account. Used to love going to Solimar.

Spa experience is awesome! Massage, mani, pedi, facials, are expertly done in the hands of professionals. Waiting for services in the oasis before and after is an absolutely refreshing technology break and delight. Steam shower after a massage helps rejuvenate and the essential oils sink in. I've been going here for years. No other spa in the cities measures up.

Balancing Touch Massage

Great experience at Mall of America Spa. I received an ayurvedic massage with shirodhara. I usually like a deep tissue massage, but I wanted to try this service. The treatment is relaxing ( not to be compared to deep muscle massage) and I loved the 30 minutes of hot oil on the 3rd eye. Lisa, the massage therapist is very friendly and professional. She casually mentioned some great things about the owners ( I always like working with staff who enjoy where they work.) It was a fantastic experience!

Solimar Spa is the absolute best! Jocelyn is great and able to help you with anything you need when you walk in! They have water, tea, and snacks before your massage! The shower/spa is the best way to relax following your massage. They do such a great job here. Highly recommend it.

Ushered to a luxury locker room, I slipped into the supplied plush robe and slippers. I then proceeded to the relaxing waiting room where fruit, teas, and lemon water were available. I sipped tea with a warm neck wrap for a very short time and then was greeted by my therapist. She was professional and extremely skilled as she eased my pain. Am definitely returning!

Started going there for Shellac manicures and haven't stopped! This is the only place I've ever found that consistently does a great Shellac manicure, without bubbles or imperfections in the polish. I've had numerous nail technicians and every single one was nice, easy to talk to and did a great job on my nails. They never skimp on giving the full manicure either, including a delicious smelling scrub and hand massage. Highly recommend!!

Do not go cheap on another spa in the area. This business is all you need. Professional. Enjoyable. Friendly staff. And the only thing I did not enjoy was how fast the hour went by. My wife and I got a massage with hot stones and I highly recommend that add on option. Very snooth process from the second we stepped in the door to the second we left. Great business. Worth every penny!

Have not had two very good experience's with this Spa!! The therapists have been great, but too bad management policy's have to hinder them! Just made a appointment 30 mins ago, for a 30 min message because they couldn't do a hour because management decided to close early with the snow storm!! So I decided to cancel! There policy is a 24 hour cancellation, so I would be charged! Really!! I had also tried a coupon at Christmas that had alot of language that basically said we don't honor it! Sorry, last time for that spa!
