New Reflections Salon in Plymouth does a FABULOUS job! Anyone who says otherwise must be completely nuts! The second you walk in the door your relaxing spa experience begins, they take care of your every need from start to finish! The salon itself is beautifully designed and decorated to provide the most relaxing experience as possible. Even if your just getting a haircut, you leave the salon feeling like a completely new and relaxed person! Definetly the best way to pamper yourself! I recommend all of my friends and family to New Reflections in Plymouth, and I will be returning every chance I get! Thanks so much to the whole team there, you guys really do a supurb job!

I love this salon and my stylist, Erin, even more! She does wonders with cuts, colors and updos. She always has cute ideas for my hair, takes the guessing out for me and if I do want something specific, she does it better than I could imagine. I will go to her forever! This is a great place with good people and always a relaxing, pampering experience. Highly recommended!

I saw the positive reviews and decided to check out if this would be a welcome location closer home ( I live in Plymouth and my current Salon is in Edina). Had a hair color appt. with Peppe. I personally did not appreciate her display of attitude when she found out I had colored my hair 6 mos back using boxed color. I have been coloring my hair both at Salons and at home and have never heard that hair colored at home cannot be colored at a Salon with same results as virgin hair. It almost felt like she was trying to sneak in an excuse to charge me extra fees for "working" on home colored hair. I am never coming back here. I'd rather take the 20 mile hike to my regular Salon.

My haircut was wonderful and the stylist, Hope, was great... And really that's the most important thing. I took off one star because of the service of the non-stylist staff and one star for the disorganized opening of the salon. The front desk staff seemed a little disorganized and scattered, and, overall, not super helpful. My appointment was at 10:00 am on a Sunday, and I learned, after arriving a reasonable 15 min early, that the salon opens at 10:00... as in literally opens their doors at 10:00 am. I assumed that, if my appointment is at 10:00 am, I am checked in and sitting in a chair with the stylist at 10:00 am, not waiting in line to check in for my appointment. There were probably 5 or 6 people waiting in their cars for the doors to be unlocked for their 10 am appointments. If you're going to open your doors at 10:00, make the first appointment of the day at 10:15. If you're going to make the first appointment at 10:00, open the doors at 9:45. Your patrons are attempting to be on time by arriving early, we would appreciate the same courtesies, to be able to check in for our appointments a few minutes early, so we don't feel stressed and rushed, especially when you're selling services meant to relax and revive.

They are rude and mean. My mom was from Chicago and ask if we can make an appointment under my name since she is never going to do it. They just refused to do it. There service is horrible, they don't get me in right way and asked for tea and I didn't get it until 15 mins after.

Really disappointed in my cut and color with Paula. Am tired of paying for hair services that are sub par. Maybe just an off day, but it was an expensive and totally disappointing day for me. It makes it 100 times worse that you have to pay to look worse than you did coming in.

Not good enough for the inconvenience, Felt rushed and that nobody cared about the services that I was paying an arm and a leg for!!! This was the absolute most that I EVER have paid for a highlight only $223 Overall highlights were decent but not what I asked for at all! We all deserve what we are expecting to pay for. I came here for a haircut for the first time yesterday. I was so happy with the service I received! Best haircut in years. Plus a welcome surprise to be served tea, a shoulder massage, and hand massage. And obviously it doesn't get much better than Aveda products. My specific stylist was also very helpful, giving me suggestions on products for my specific hair-type without being pushy/sales-focused about it. She was also confident and knowledgeable enough to suggest a few things to do for the cut that she thought I might like considering the problems I tend to have with my hair. Thanks, Peppe!

Never been there for a service just went to buy product today. But with the coldness of their front desk staff I wouldn't want to stay for services! Their desk staff has no comprehension of customer service. I've never been anywhere that you don't get greeted or offered assistance when you come in and start wandering. Poor representation of an Aveda salon and Aveda service. You girls are the face of the salon- the first and last point of contact! Wake up, crack a smile and greet your customers rather than ignore them until they approach you! Without customers you have no job! Tip for Management-get some customer service training for your front staff.

I would highly recommend seeing Kayla Bergsten! She is truly talented at what she does. She goes above and beyond and makes sure you love your hair. My balayage turned out great!! Not to mention it’s a great price for everything you get. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and welcoming.

Arrived on time and appointment started >20 minutes late. Tried to pay with gift card at the end and was told after the card was scanned that the remaining balance needed to be used up. I asked for the gift card back, so I could use the full amount at a future appointment and would pay cash this trip instead. I was told the amount was already deducted and that I would need to pick out products to use up the rest. After going back and forth I finally just picked out an overpriced bottle of shampoo, had to pay the difference plus the gratuity. Very frustrating.

I love Aveda! They do this message during your haircut which is awesome! But i do think it's a hit or miss as to whether the stylist is going to be good at this or not. I also enjoy their facials and natural products.

I came here last year about July/August to get my blonde hair fixed from purple. Being a hairdresser I was looking forward to going to a salon and feeling more like a client than a stylist. I had Peppe and she was absolutely amazing!! She was so much fun to talk to and gave me awesome advice and is incredibly talented! My hair ended up turning out Pinterest worthy and I loved it! I will have to go back soon the next time I’m needing salon time! The salon was also very inviting and had a very relaxing feel to it!

Kayla B with New Reflections has been nothing less than amazing! Every Salon/Stylist I've gone to has told me my hair is broken and pressured me to buy all sorts of expensive products. I first went to see Kayla when I was 40 weeks pregnant and she couldn't believe how healthy my hair was. I couldn't believe it! I had been lied to for years just to buy products, so someone could get commission. Fast forward 1.5 years and she is still the only person I will let touch my hair! She even gives my 1 year old his haircuts :) If you want someone fun, honest and trust worthy - Kayla is your girl! We are so lucky to have found Kayla! We will never go anywhere else!

Friendly and upbeat staff plus a soothing atmosphere and luxury touches made this first-time guest (and recent Chicago transplant) already pumped for the next vist. Abby Sundquist took excellent care of me and my short mane. Her pleasant demeanor and expert scissor skills eased my new-stylist worries and left me looking and feeling like a rockstar. She embodies the spirit of Aveda and impressed me with her vision, confidence, precision, and service. Abby and this salon know what’s up. A must for anyone looking to treat themselves or make a switch!

I waited 25 minutes for my appointment, which was 20 minutes past when it was scheduled to begin and my stylist never came to get me. When I went to the front desk, they were not apologetic or able to explain the wait. This is not the first time I have had to wait here but definitely the longest and an explanation would have been appreciated so I knew to expect a wait. I was pretty disappointed, so I did not stay for my appointment and will not come back to this location after coming here for three years.

Kayla is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I first saw her skills on Instagram (@colorsbykayla) and knew I had to see her for my next look. Of course I was a little skeptical having never been to the salon or even met her but I am SO GLAD I did. Kayla is the kindest most patient stylist I’ve ever met. She was very thorough with the consultation and responsive to my requests - not to mention super friendly! I was honestly amazed by how insightful she was about the coloring process, which gave me the utmost confidence in her skills. And let me tell you...I was not disappointed.
