The women of Luxe are professional, creative and fun! I enjoyed a makeover that transformed me to the character of Mae West for the Old Berwick Historical Society History Games last month. I've been meaning to post my review for some time but keep getting sidetracked! Moon is nothing short of amazing with your locks. If you need someone to work miracles on your hair, you need to see Moon NOW. Hilary is the sweetest! My truck wouldn't start after my appointment because my battery wasn't used to these cold Maine temps (we just moved back from down south) and she helped give me a jump so I could go about the rest of my day. My entire experience from the moment I walked in the door until my truck started, was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Lee is intuitive with gentle hands and she uses the best products on her clients. I came to Lee with stubborn acne and she has helped restore my skin to a healthy and balanced state. Lee is super personable, but also possesses a wealth of knowledge on skin care. Do yourself a favor and book with Lee, you won’t regret it!

Last week I visited the newly renovated Luxe Salon and Day Spa for the 1st time. A very warm, welcoming, modern, atmosphere for sure. The best nail technician and design artist I have ever encountered (Pam Babkirk) is now working there. This is what brought me in. My nails are "my thing" and I searched long and hard all over Southern Maine to find my dream technician. Luxe is where you'll find her. From the cuticle work to the perfect filing; the massage to the creative, hand painted art; the combination of conversation and quiet time, my manicure and pedicure were perfect. Take it from me, Pam Babkirk at Luxe Salon and Day Spa is as good as it gets! Luxe also has monthly membership package discounts as well as a number of other services and eco-friendly products, at attractive and competitive prices, that I'm looking forward to trying.

I really love Luxe Salon and Spa!! The service is amazing!! Luxe was the first to answer out of trying to call a couple other salons. They were friendly and made me an appointment for the same day! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. There is a comfy waiting area, with refreshments and even phone chargers. So far I've been to Luxe twice. And I absolutely loved both experiences. The first time, I got an adventurous haircut with Moon. I really like how she taught me about the right product for my hair and even the proper way to straighten and take care of my hair. The second time, I got a little more adventurous with coloring. Moon does a great job!!! Since it was my first time coloring my hair, she made sure to keep an eye out, always making sure it didn't burn or hurt me. She also has a great sense of color combinations, making my indigo/purple pop with magenta. I can't wait for my next appointment this weekend!! You should definitely check out Luxe Salon. They are extremely helpful and they will definitely take care of you!!

I scheduled an apt here last minute and was able to get in because someone cancelled, I scheduled with Moon, and had a wonderful experience, she was very honest with me when I showed her hair cuts and colors, told me the truth about what my hair could do with its texture and current color, many stylist will just let you have what you want knowing it may not look good or damage your hair, she told me about how important product was for keeping colored hair healthy, I left with some really nice product and my hair feels really great, she did not push the product on me and told me things I absolutely needed, and things I could go without, the color is exactly what I wanted she stayed late to make sure my hair colored correctly and I did not feel rushed at all!, I recommend this salon and Moon very much!

I was in the area for my father's funeral from Washington DC and I stopped in to have my hair done. While there, I met the most fabulous lady, Bridget, who provided me with several awesome services. She did a cleanse, tone, Derma plane, Laser/Light, Hydrate B-5 Mask, Metacell Renewal B, H intense-Eyes and Defense 50 Protect. I arrived feeling and looking totally stressed out and when I left, my face was younger looking, relaxed, nourished, and rejuvenated. BRIDGET'S TREATMENTS ARE AWESOME!!! Not only is she beautiful outside, but she is absolutely the nicest person ever!!! I also received a lot of fantastic advice on how to keep my skin looking and feeling young, and the prices were very reasonable. I plan on traveling from Washington DC for Bridget's treatments again soon. Yes, she is absolutely worth the trip!

Walked in this morning with a vague plan to make a later appointment and was able to hang with amazing stylist Jenna right away! She was fun, enthusiastic, skilled as hell, and even able to totally roll with the fact that I had my 4yo son with me. Absolutely recommend!

BEWARE. I would not recommend this place. The owner, I believe she went by the name of Lee, was extremely rude and obnoxious! She blamed me for her mistake! This lady needs a class on maturity and business!!!! I never want to do business with her again.

I decided to visit Luxe after hearing about their new teeth whitening service. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. The whitening only took a little over an hour and my teeth ended up being about 7 shades lighter! I could not believe it. Lea, the owner, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I can't wait to visit Luxe again soon to indulge in some of the many other services they offer!

PROFESSIONAL/PERFECTIONISTS/PARADISIACAL I visited the Luxe salon and spa for the first time last week. As a “man’s man”, I was apprehensive, but heard about the teeth whitening, and who doesn’t need a better smile?? I was greeted by the owner, Lea who immediately put me at ease and meticulously explained the process as she is the technician in addition to being the owner. It was a fantastic experience, and my smile is absolutely electric now. The staff in its entirety was extremely curtious, and professional. I left there purchasing a spa membership for my mother, who was ecstatic upon receiving it. I highly recommend this salon/spa to everyone, and will be visiting Luxe again soon for a “gentleman’s peticure”.

I'd just like to say how fantastic and enjoyable my regular visits to Luxe Salon and Spa have been! Being a guy who has always gone to barber shops in the past, I wasn't sure what to expect...however, Lea has done an amazing job thru renovation and has created a very pleasant atmosphere. The friendly staff are extremely welcoming and make you laugh and feel right at home (the cookies and chocolates are a plus also;) Thank you Moon for your super attention to detail with my "men's cut" and beard trim. I really enjoy kicking back in the chair and shooting the breeze with you. Thanks for taking the time to explain why you do what do when cutting my hair, I have a whole new appreciation for the art of hair cutting. See you all again soon...
