Ive been going here for acrylics since January and they always do a great job but the last time I went I got a new set and the guy asked if I wanted tips or not but I couldn’t understand him and thought he said something else so I said no - when I realized my mistake I told him I was sorry and I wanted tips and he kept telling me that I was wasting his time - he made me so upset I didn’t want to come back BUT you can’t get nails like they do anywhere else. Overall I would recommend.

MAKE APPOINTMENT. DONT GO DURING BUSY HOURS. Pedicure was really great cause they weren't in a rush. But my dip manicure was terrible. It wasnt a full manicure. Steps like the hand soak, cuticle cream, hand wash and lotion hand rub (pretty much the whole manicure except the actual dip) were skipped. He did not allow the dip layers to fully dry inbetween applications so there were tiny bubbles all throughout my nails. He still charged me full price. I wouldn't suggest going in at busy times if you want decent results. There were 3 people in line after me and he was unfortunately rushing to finish me and stay on time for appointments. My nails started chipping immediately around cuticles cause my cuticles were messy and the dip was on them. My nails are fully off 3 days later and dip is suppose to last 10 days at least.

They did an incredible job! This was my first experience doing the powder dip, and my nail tech was amazing. It was priced right ($35 compared to $40+ elsewhere) and they are the strongest/best looking nails I've ever had. Definitely found my new nail place!

Very disappointed with Essence Nails and Spa. Made an appointment for my mother, sister and I to get our nails done and they took my mother and sister right at 10 but I had to wait a half hour, having to wait for me because of this. They rushed through my nails, missing the top coat on one of them and thinning my gel nails down so much to the point where they keep breaking. I had one nail break within hours of getting my nails filled and I went back to get it fixed and they didn’t even make it the same length as my other ones. The next two days, two more nails broke, so I had to go to my nail salon back home to have them fix the terrible job they did. Do not recommend this place!!! Save your money and time!

Ivy was amazing!!! Highly recommend her! I showed her a picture and she recreated it exactly. Pink and white ombré with silver sparkles (full set)! Edit: I changed my review from 5 stars to 4 stars because my pedicure chipped, had to go somewhere else to do a color change, but my finger nails are staying strong and I still recommend ivy for a manicure. But I’ll be getting a pedicure elsewhere next time!
