I cannot say enough about this place and how much I love it! I have been a customer for many years trying out all the services from massages to facials to the mani/pedi... you cannot go wrong! I recently had my brows microbladed by JonPaule and it was an absolute amazing experience. He made sure I got exactly what I wanted and that I was comfortable the whole time. He is a pure perfectionist so I knew I would come out looking fabulous. He even kept me informed throughout the process of how they would look in each stage. I cannot brag on this place enough... you just have to go and se for yourselves!.

The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is soothing. However, my nails were not as impressive. I paid $100 before tip to have a rosemary mani/pedi with French tips done and in the past three days, my nails have done nothing but chip. I messed up one of my nails walking out of the store which was my fault, but the rest of them shouldn’t look like this three days later. The clear coat is coming off and the white tips are chipped. It’s frustrating having to spend that kind of money for my nails to look like this so soon.

I called to make an appointment for a gel nail polish change. Change only, not a manicure. I was very specific and when I made the appointment, the person on the phone was positive that it would cost $25.00. I asked a couple of times because I usually pay $20.00 at another salon. My appointment was for 12:45 p.m., and I was called back at 1:00 p.m. which was fine because I know that people get behind. Shawn soaked my nails for at least 10 minutes, four times!! I have never had to have them soaked that much. Every time he wanted them soaked, he would leave, come back, scrape the polish off, soak again and then leave. This was nearly an hour into the appointment and he still wanted to soak them. Then I was there for another hour so he could polish them. When I finally get to the counter, the charge was $45.00 plus a $5.00 fee because they said it was not their nail polish. I told the attendant Kylie that I will not being paying that and explained the appointment phone call. There was no manager and she called the Ashley Ridge location and spoke to someone whom told her that I would have to pay. She advised that she would HOLD my card and not charge it until the owner, Kim Anderson, called me to discuss this. That was Friday and my card was charged $45.00 Tuesday without my authorization, a signature or a phone call from Kim Anderson. I have disputed this charge with my bank and I will NEVER visit this salon again, nor will anyone that I know.

I visited family in Shreveport over the holidays and stopped into Spa Concepts for services. My haircut was fantastic. The stylist recommended a cut that made me look younger and that was better than I get at home. I also got a manicure and pedicure. The technicians were very professional and made my hands and especially my feet look and feel rejuvenated. I liked the paraffin wax a lot. I finished with a 90 minute deep tissue massage and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. The therapist worked out my knots and completely unstressed every muscle in my body. If I lived in Shreveport, I would go here all the time. It was comparable to spas I visit in California and the price was a lot less. Great services, professional staff, nice ambiance.

I will NEVER give Spa Concepts my business again. I was quoted $40 for a haircut, and $40 for a pedicure. When it comes time to pay, all of a sudden my bill is $130 instead of $80. I've read reviews from other people that say the same thing happened to them. Too bad I didn't read the reviews before I went. They won't get another penny of my money EVER.

Comfortable for those of us who don't know how to let go and those who love to indulge. Everyone was so accommodating and checked in on us at all the right times. This was a first for us away from the kid so it was perfect to not be on edge or worry.

I just finished my follow up appt with Jon Paule for eye brow micro blading and I could not happier with the results or the service that I received! I have been considering this for several years but was scared to death to pull the trigger, because it is my face. I saw Jon Paule's work and decided to go for it. He immediately put me at ease and although I am 57 years old and an average looking woman he made me feel beautiful and important and made sure that my eyebrows would be absolutely perfect! He put all my fears to rest and I wished I would have done it sooner! I live in the Kansas City area but have family living in Shreveport right now. The decision to travel to have the work done by Jon Paule is by far the correct decision and one I will absolutely continue to make. His attention to detail and pride in his work and genuine concern for his clients is worth traveling for. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Jon Paule I could not be happier!

For this Christmas (2018), my son, who lives in Shreveport, gave me a very generous gift card for Spa Concepts. I made an appointment for Friday, Dec 28, 2018 for a mani/pedi. The phone conversation and appointment process was very cordial. I arrived at the Ashley Ridge location after driving the 80 miles from my home in TX. I checked in, 15 min early. They sat me in a corner and ignored me for 30 min. Finally, I found a staff member who located a nail tech and started my mani. The appointment was for dipped nails. She obviously wasn’t proficient in this treatment. At one point she sliced open one of my cuticles. She said that happened because “your skin is so thin”. The powder/polish was applied past my nails onto my cuticles (she said this happened because my nails are small?). Now, just a week later, the polish has curled up around my nails/cuticles. This treatment is supposed to last a month. The last one I had (at my regular salon in TX, did last that long). The pedi (different nail tech) was ok; however, in spite of wearing spa sandals and not putting on shoes, the toenail polish “rubbed off” later that evening. I have pictures. A qualified tech in TX is redoing my nails today. She is appalled at the sloppy job the Spa Concepts tech did. She thinks the toenail polish rubbed off because the wax applied to my feet during the pedi wasn’t properly removed from my toenails. So! I’ve advised my son, a doctor at WK Pierremont, that I’m grateful for his generous and loving gift, but the experience was not pleasant. There’s a balance on the gift card. I’m not sure how to “spend” it. AND, I have to pay to have my nails redone.

Had a perfectly relaxing time at Spa Concepts at Ashley Ridge. I had a deep tissue massage, a pure focus facial and make up applied. Everyone was very friendly. This was my first experience at a Spa ever and I will most definitely be back. I had the balance package. My best friend and I both got massages, facials, hair, nails and eyebrow waxing. Lunch was included as were bottomless mimosas. Jenny was my massage therapist and not only was she very Zen but she was also very professional. Amanda Smith did my hair and I'm very pleased. Our all around experience was amazing. We will definitely be back.

I have been going here for 4 years, and after the experience I had today I will never return. I paid over $50 for a spa pedicure and the polish started chipping after only 5 days. Anyone who has ever gotten a pedicure knows that the polish shouldn't chip after only 5 days especially when you always wear open toed shoes so the polish is never rubbing on anything. I've also never had this issue before. Then, they gave me a hard time about having it fixed even after I said I would pay for the nail repair. It seemed to me that the nail techs just didn't want to waste their time on only a $4 nail repair service. The customer service I received today was horrible. I am incredibly disappointed in the entire experience so I'll find somewhere else to get a pedicure from now on. Don't waste your money here!!

RACIST PPL I went in there to see what I would like to buy and one lady (brown lady) assisted me the whole time I stood there looking at the products and reading ingredients she was a great help but every time I turned around there was some (white)worker eyeballing me or us! Then a Chinese lady came up on us and just stood there idk if she has special needs or if she wanted to say anything but she didn't. The (Brown lady) that works there said hey to her and asked did she need her and the Chinese lady jus shook her head and walked off. How rude was that? Oh and lets not forget the white heavy set lady with a short Lil cut peeping around the corner and when I turned around she backed up! Do you all think just because I'm of color that I can't afford or shop in ur store? PLZ! I came in with a gift card and a wallet full of money debating if I wanted to spend it there but y'all wouldn't know that cause its nun of ya damn business! And now its not a part of ur business cause u lost this customer ✌

We went to get two girls their nails done for their birthday. On the window near the door it said “Walk-Ins Welcome”...I did not feel welcome at all. We walked in and they greeted us which was the only time their were friendly!! They asked if we had an appointment...we did not but said we are walk ins and need 2 full sets of nails done. Can you fit us in? She looked done at the computer and started typing then started up a conversation amongst 3 other employees. After almost 10 minutes I walk up to ask who was doing the nails? She and another lady said what do you need done? “I just told her (pointing at the lady who was “SUPPOSEDLY” helping me) what we needed...were you not helping me this whole time?” They got really snippy, stuck up and looking down their noses at us!! REALLY!!!!!! They could not fit us in for 2 hours yet they had 4 staff standing around doing NOTHING!!!! We went somewhere else and they were nice and did a good job! Just because you have the word “SPA” in your name doesn’t mean you need to to be rude stuck up snobs!!!! Just stay away if you want to be treatment right!!!!
