Made a app Friday for Sat I was specific about what I was coming In for, low and Highlights. I was very excited because I rarely get time for myself. When I got there she said im sorry but I don't think I can do your hair because I'm really busy. I was kinda shocked. No call to tell me before hand, or anything. If they would have told me I could have made other arrangements. I sent a email still have never received any response. Would never recommend going here. I have a friend that also had a similar experience there. Poor customer service

My haircut and style has always been amazing. But this last time I went I got my eye brows waxed because the girl who threads them was no longer there. When I got home I noticed my brows were really uneven and one was thinner than the other. Needless to say I will not get my brows done again there but I will definitely keep coming back to Chloe for my hair!

The stylists here are amazing! It is a great relaxing atmosphere. The neck and shoulder massage is a great start to the appointment. The stylists will really listen to you about what you would like and make suggestions if you have concerns. Omagi is a great salon, especially if you are a tried and true Aveda salon person!

Niran is amazing! Not only did she fix my horrible hair cut from another salon, but every time I go in I leave with my hair looking straight out of a magazine. I have trust issues when it comes to my hair, but Niran could do anything with my hair and I'd probably love it! She's so sweet and friendly. Every appointment I've had with her she starts with the most relaxing neck/shoulder/scalp massage, which she carries over into the shampoo and a hand massage while she conditions my hair. I literally have to try to not to fall asleep. She's very gentle and she listens to what you want and then does it. I highly recommend her and the salon. They're such a warm welcoming staff and they don't push products on you. However I did buy the volumizing tonic because it smelled so good when she used it on my hair. If you want your hair done right and you want a relaxing spa experience go see Niran at Omagi she is worth every penny and then some!

Omagi was recommended to me by a college friend 6 years ago. I was shocked by the great experience, especially the shoulder/neck/scalp massage and hand massage with lavender oil while your hair is being washed!! Nearly puts you to sleep. Always happy with my cut and reasonable prices to boot. I'm not local anymore, but nowhere else I've been even begins to compare! I still come back when I visit Louisville! Best part? They send great discounts via email!

Always get great service and a great cut here. People compliment my hair all day after a visit! I go for the Aveda sensory rituals (aka the shoulder and hand massages) that are complimentary as much as for my hair. It’s a no tip salon, which is also nice, and high quality care is guaranteed.

I have been here twice and wouldn’t recommend it. The first time I went for color, when I got home I realized my shirt was ruined. The entire back of my shirt was bleached- I’m not sure how because I was wearing a cape. That should have been a red flag but I tried it again. The second time I went, the person coloring my hair put all the foils in. Then she leaves for a minute, comes back carrying her purse and says “Okay, I’m leaving. So-and-so will be finishing up your color.” Um, what??! At no point did she say there was an emergency or anything, she just acted nonchalant as if it was time for her to get off work. I have never had a person just leave while I was in the middle of my service at any other salon. So then of course the other person isn’t really paying attention to me, she finally checks my foils but she is taking care of someone else. I get passed off to yet another person to shampoo my hair, and then I find out that there’s not even a styling station if you’re not getting another service. They ask if I want to sit under the dryer- um not really, I’d like a blow dryer so I can dry my hair properly. I have bangs and long hair and sitting under the dryer will just make it a big mess. I did sit under the dryer for a few minutes but at that point I was so fed up I went ahead and left, with my hair wet and a mess and unable to even check to see if the color turned out well- not that they would have cared because my person already left! So absolutely unprofessional. My mom was going to start going there, too, but after my experience I told her to stay away. I’ll take my business somewhere that they actually care about their clients.

Had a little bit of a highlighting issue, but the manager was amazingly courteous and determined to make it better. Macy worked on it two days in a row to fix 2 other’s mistakes. She did a wonderful job trying to get it as close as she could to what I was wanting. Besides the color mishap, the experience was wonderful!

This salon saved me after a bad dye job, and I really felt as though I was in great hands with both of the colorists who helped get my hair back in order. Just based on that visit I would have given 5 stars. I scheduled another appointment with this salon to do my wedding hair and makeup and was not as impressed with the salon that time around. I felt my appointment time should have been later than it scheduled, as it was set for 9 am with me stating I did not need to have my hair and makeup completed until 3 (wedding was at 6, no photos or anything until 4:30), they insisted that I would need that much time, which I did not. My hair was definitely falling well before time for photos. I know that Omagi will touch you up before the event if needed, but going back to the salon was not something I was wanting to do after leaving. I do feel like the staff at Omagi care that you are satisfied before you leave, and I would come back to this salon.

Date Of Service: July 28,2018 Stylist: Nick I came here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. I was very nervous because I had never been to a salon this nice before. I had also never had a male stylist before. Nick was wonderful! He chatted with me before starting any work on my hair and made sure he had a very clear understanding of what I was looking for. He also helped guide me in areas where I knew what I wanted but wasn’t sure how to achieve it with my hair type. He was super friendly and not pushy at all! We started with a neck and shoulder massage. I think it’s important to note that he wasn’t creepy at all! He was very respectful! We then moved on to shampoo and conditioner. With that came a lovely hand massage. Next was the cut, dry, and style. Everything about the experience was absolutely wonderful and I loved the end result. Nick made sure I was totally satisfied before leaving and gave me a suggestion for when to come back. Again, he was not pushy at all. He didn’t try to push any products or extra services on me. He is wonderful at reading his clients and anticipating their needs. I have used the same hair stylist for ten years before now. (I received a gift card to Omagi which is why I tried them out today.) But the service was so wonderful at Omagi that I will be happily returning to see Nick for my next cut!

Was called 1 day before appointment and told the lady who did my hair was no longer there.Was also told (we don’t have anyone to do you and if you want to come back we can schedule some other time) . This was done in a tone that was made clear we don’t care if you reschedule or not. The lady I went to was wonderful but customer service at the desk is very poor. Customers have time lines the same as these (upscale) salons and when they create the problem they should make an effort to create a solution.

Know the owner personally. Did some work at the salon. Staff is very friendly and courteous to all that come in. During my time working customer after customer raved about how happy they were with their service. I myself decided to schedule an appointment a little later on. I can see I'll have no problem after listening to all the people sing their praises of their stylist. Customer after customer booked future appointments while I was there. They offer coffee and water to all either while waiting or when finished. The staff are all dressed professionally, act professional but treat their clients and children with happiness and joy. The salon itself is very nice and everything is laid out in a professional clean and warm atmosphere way. I cant wait to try their services myself. 5 stars plus and highly recommended!!

I recently went to this salon to get a massage. They have a great ongoing special with their newest massage therapists (ask). I walked into this place, was immediately taken care, asked if i wanted a drink...typical, polite customer service I would expect from any salon. I have been to several other local spas for massages and also tried independent local massage therapists.... While I had very positive prior experiences, none of them compelled me to call back. I felt good, but just as good as any other massage. This experience was different...My massage therapist (Whitney) gave me the most relaxing and therapeutic massage I have ever received. (It was friggin' phenomenal) I explained to her my problem areas, she asked me to smell various scents to determine which aroma to use, and then the massage began. I work out on a frequent basis and Whitney knew the exact techniques to alleviate the built up tension in my muscles. She adjusted her pressure at the right moments with out me saying a word (she's a muscle whisperer) and overall turned my muscles in putty. I was so pleased, I scheduled another massage before I left the salon. While I cannot validate this salon's other services: hair, nails, facials, etc., I can say that they have GREAT, well trained, professional therapists and found a new repeat customer.

I came in for a color correct from another spa based upon the referral from a friend. I have visited many aveda spas, including a couple in Austin Tx and Denver Colorado. The customer service at Omagi far surpassed any and all others. The services I received were outstanding. Monica, Kaitlyn, Marion all went out of their way to ensure that I had a pleasant experience. Wish I could remember everyone's name because the entire staff worked as a team to give the absolute best customer experience. I left, not only with a beautiful shade of hair, but with my spirits lifted. Thank you, Omagi-you are my new salon for life!

A lot like another full service salon in the city but SO much more personal service-wise, less expensive and the stylists all seem to have been there a good long while. I enjoyed my experience at this salon. I've been here 3 times in the last 6 months. That being said, there were a few times that someone suggested to be to get an additional treatment, hair cut or trim. I know that that's a part of going to a salon but coming to omagi is already a huge splurge for me, a working mom with 3 toddlers. Also, I don't appreciate that after I spent nearly $100 on a full highlight, I left with wet hair. I know it's not in the description, but it'd be nice to leave the salon feeling like at least a hundred bucks, instead of a wet dog.

Daughter went to get caramel brown highlights and ended up with ashy blonde hair . They refused to fix her hair and asked her to come back after 4 days as they were too busy to fix it at that time . Really upset as she had an important event to attend . Definitely not worth the $$ spent and would not recommend for hair coloring

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and felt so welcomed. Sarah, hairstylist, took care of me today. Complimentary neck, shoulder and hand massage was great! Recently I butchered my hair at another salon after wanting to go short. Sarah did a very thorough job during the consult and listened to how I wanted my hair done. My hair is the shortest that it has ever been and I still feel like the cut looks super feminine and meets all of my needs. Sarah is very competent at what she does. Looking forward to the complimentary bang/fringe trim in 2 weeks. Thank you for all the services provided at such a reasonable price!

Always do a great job but disappointed because they wouldn’t honor $60 in gift certificates I received as a Xmas gift because it wasn’t January yet (only couple days out). Also, when my mom bought the gift certificate, she wasn’t told that these 3 $20 gift certificates had to be used separately and not together. If know, I would have scheduled my color and my cut on different days.

I had just gotten my hair highlighted & cut 6 weeks ago here . I liked it okay the first time. I decided to try it again. The second time, I specified when making the appointment that I would just need a quick thinning out for my thick hair since I am growing it out & had gotten it cut last time. Wasn't told that a 5 min. run through with the thinning scissors would be $48, same price as an actual haircut. This was actually more than I was charged for my haircut 6 weeks ago!! That is ridiculous!! I have never had to pay even 1/2 of that for that service, especially when my haircut 6 weeks ago was also done here. And I was getting my hair colored too. I complained that I should have been told this. They would not budge even after they had re-scheduled me once, then trying to re-schedule me once I got there. They found someone to do it, but I thought the reason I was re-scheduled in the first place was because the original guy who had cut my hair couldn't do it on the first day I had scheduled. Also, the girl who had done my color last time was gone. Seems like there's high turnover. The person who thinned my hair out didn't even do it enough. I'm going to have to get it done somewhere else in just a couple of weeks. Definitely won't be going back. I know I can find cheaper, better service elsewhere.

Dear Marissa Since I have no way of reaching you directly I am going to use this source to notify you that as of today I have yet to receive the gift card receipt promised to me for two weeks with multiple calls. I have contacted The cc carrier and disputed the charge. Worst service ever. It should not be that difficult to receive a copy of a receipt needed for a gift. My friend’s birthday is Monday and two weeks later after many many phone calls from my end it is now Saturday two days before I need it and nothing. So disappointing not even a call to help resolve.

I had been to Omagi before and had wonderful experiences! The front desk is always so friendly and I love the neck and hand massage and the oils and lotions they use smell great! I was not so happy with my most recent visit however as my stylist didn't really listen to how I had wanted my hair. It seemed like she just kept cutting length off when I had asked for it only a little shorter. I thought we were on the same page, but my final result doesn't reflect what I had asked for. I kind of just wanted to get out the salon and when I got home realized how unhappy I was. It was disappointing because I had had such great experiences before this one.

I love getting my hair done at Omagi, I have visited a few different stylists there and they have all done a great job at matching my requests while giving me a stylish and easy to work with cut. The salon has a pleasant atmosphere and I love their hair care products. All of my cut appointments have included a hair consultation to make sure they understand my goals and a relaxing shoulder and hand massage so I feel very refreshed. I would also consider the pricing to be very affordable.

Great experience, friendly staff and possibly one of the best hair cuts I've had! I would reccomend it to anyone who asked me and already have to my friends and family. Also, to add to the great experience I had, there are tones of stuff to do afterwards because of the salons great location, i.e., coffee, drinks, dinner and many different shops to browse. If you're looking for a great experience and an awesome new look then Omagi is definitely a great choice!
