Disappointed that as a long time customer I was told that I would have to pay full price for a shampoo, cut, and style but would not receive the full service because I was 10 minutes late. Thankfully, we were able to work this out. This salon is not cheap and over the years, I have spent multiple times waiting for my turn, even when I was on time. Questionable business practice and not customer friendly. Apparently they also do not feel like being a long time customer accounts for anything.

All of the ladies are warm and friendly and very professional. When I walked in they put a warm neck wrap on and let it stay while I was talking with the hairstylist. Then the stylist removed it and massaged my neck for a minute or two. Then, during the shampoo, they placed a warm body "pad" over my chest/abdomen. How wonderful!! All of this and a great haircut and brow wax! I am definitely going to return.

I was looking for a new hair salon to try and decided to try Joli because I read good reviews online. I really liked this place. They offer you coffee or water (which was a plus seeing as my appointment was at 9 in the morning). They also give scalp, shoulder, and hand massages during your treatment. They had a mix up with my appointment not being in the system, but they were very apologetic and still worked me into their booked schedule. My stylist was Niki, and she was awesome! She did my eyebrows along with a wash, cut, and style. I've had issues with other salons cutting my hair much shorter than I wanted, and she listened to my concerns and did exactly what I asked her to. My hair looked great, and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. The total cost of an eyebrow wax, a hair wash, cut and style, and the purchase of a $30 hair product ended up costing about $75. I will definitely keep going back. Any first-timers, ask for Niki, she's great!

I wanted to get my daughter in laws hair done for her for her birthday. She had signed up for a special. They gave a the special color price then ended up charging us an extra $68.00 for what the first said was extra toner then extra color when they already charged us an extra $7.00 for extra color. Erica the manager was very rude to me when I tried to discuss this unreasonable extra charge. We will never go back or recommend Joli Salon to anyone.

This place is amazing. Great service and fantastic products. They are more expensive but you get what you pay for since they are an Aveda Salon. If you have sensitive skin or scalp their products do very well. Also if you color your hair their products do not dry or damage or smell like a lot of other places. That has been co sister with any Aveda I have been to. I have to say Wesley is an amazing stylist. She is a warm and caring person that is the first stylist who remembers me and will give me a hug and ask how the family is when I see her. She really listens and takes your opinion on mind and cares about how you like your cut or style. At Joli they really pamper you with flavored water and a hand massage and a hot mask and a scalp massage. I wish they had pedicures but that is about the only thing I miss.

Joli hair salon in Lexington is expensive, but they have good stylists and friendly staff. Appointments have to be booked well in advance, and they do not answer their phone on weekends.

My experience was atrocious. The day before I called to make an appt at 5:30 for a 30 minute massage, and they said perfect. The next day, they called me and left me a voicemail saying that the lady wasn't going to be in and said I could do a 4:00 or reschedule. I called back to try to do the 4:00, but they said there was no time then, and they would call me back and see if they could anywyas. They never called me back and it was an hour and a half before my possible appt, so I called back and they said nothing was available. The inconvience was awful but the business was terrible! Here is the worst part, they said they would give me a discount, but only if I reschedule, they would not give me the discount the day of even though I had to deal with all the inconvience of them not calling back and messing up my appts. They have HORRIBLE and ARROGANT attitudes. I would not recommend going there. Another thing is that in their pamphlet they advertise a complentary foot soak with ANY massage, no exceptions, but it is deceptive because they not tell me or give me the option to do it in my 30 min massage because it wasnt allowed and would take up time. That is me to decide and that is FALSE advertising!!! This is not a professional place of business!!!
