Some of you giving bad reviews are only doing so from a consumer standpoint; you view the staff here as mere tools to be utilized, without sophistication or emotions.
That being said, none of you saw the staff in the same light that I was rather fortunate to see. Allow me to elaborate; being a man, I can't say that spas are my thing, but I'd like to take a moment to thank the three women at the front desk there, for literally saving my life almost a month ago. Their names are Allie, Megan and Sam.
Here's what happened:
I was suffering from heat exhaustion and was severely dehydrated in 105 degree heat after riding my bike for 5 hours straight, looking for an address. When I got there, I realized I couldn't go any further, and I collapsed in front of the place. These women could have left me to die in the street like a dog, but they did not. You know what they did? They dragged my semi-conscious self inside the place and covered me in wet towels. They gave me as much ice water as I could ask for and checked on me in shifts, taking time out of their day to tend to a strange man that was at death's door.
Like I said, they could have left me outside to die while they played on their phones, which is exactly what I believe some of you would have done had you been in their place. I know the type; I have lived in places where people would have done just that. But, those three women are living proof that we as a race just might refrain from blowing ourselves up one day.
If I could give more stars, I'd give this place TWENTY stars. For 2 hours I laid there, slowly recovering and regaining my strength. Even after I left, they continued to call and check on me to make sure I got to my destination in one piece.
Now... top THAT review!
