Went in to get a few nails fixed because they broke the night after I got them done. They blamed me because of the shape and the length I wanted; however, I've had my nails the same shape and length for a year now and have never had them break. They were rude to me and had terrible customer service. I will not be returning here, though I've became a regular.

This will be a bit lengthy. I went in to take my sister in law to get her nails done for her wedding. I was in the wedding but didn’t want to spend a lot of money on myself and only needed the paint to last one day. When I went in it was extremely difficult to figure out the options for nails and pricing. Finally I got it through that I only wanted my nails done with acrylic paint. I had them do a full manicure and gel paint for the bride. They lectured me on how mine wouldn’t last long and told me I needed a manicure because my cuticles were “very bad”. Then the man that did my nails acted incredibly perturbed and made me feel like an inconvenience and waste of his time; he demanded that I pay him before he started and made me feel as though he thought I wasn’t good for it. Even though I brought them business through bringing the bride and another bridesmaid who both got the full manicure and gel nails. I paid for both mine and the bride’s nails before he started on mine and also gave him a $5 tip hoping he would be inspired to do a good job (which was a 50% for him because the bride also tipped the lady that did her nails). The paint was a bit sloppy and he acted annoyed at me the entire time. Very rude. Some of the worst service I have ever received. If you are going to be upset with your client for choosing an option you provide, don’t provide that service. It was a very negative experience on my part. That being said, this is more a review of the employee that served me. The bride’s nails came out well, and overall I would give the place at least three stars. Just go with one of the ladies if you want to be treated like an actual human.

6/10/16 Horrible, Made an appointment for 12:30 during my lunch hour. They didn't start until 12:50, then didn't even cover the nail sides with polish. Had to request top coat on nails. Polish looks like it ran in spots, too thick in some and thin in others. Never again!!!!

The last couple times I’ve gone here I went as a walk in and got amazing treatment. Yesterday I called to make an appointment for today and they scheduled me in first thing in the morning. I got there early and proceeded to wait until 15 minutes after my appointment time before someone started my nails. No big deal, because I knew the gentleman I had an appointment with would take his time and make my nails beautiful like the last couple times. The last couple times I’ve gone I was there for over an hour getting everything done and always left happy because of the amount of time they spent making everything right. This time I got no cuticle care AT ALL with my manicure and was done in 30 minutes. The frustrating thing is that he spent probably a total of 10 minutes of that time on the phone. My cuticles are more dry and cracked than before I went it, I have my nail color all over my skin, the edges of my nails are rough to the touch, and I have powder packed under my nails. I wish one bad experience wouldn’t change my entire opinion but this appointment was made to be a stress reliever for me and to help me relax from a very long week and instead I left frustrated to the point of tears. I will not be going back. If you do go I do not under any circumstance reccomend making an appointment or going on Saturdays because apparently that means they have less time to make you happy. UPDATE : called and talked to Dao about my dip manicure, which cost me 40 dollars. APPARENTLY cutical care is not included in that price. If you want to receive the “manicure” perks of cutical care, lotion, etc. you have to pay the $10 manicure cost on top of the 40 dollars. Even through I’ve never paid extra any other time I’ve gone. She said she wanted to make it up to me so I told her I will come in after this grows out and get a new dipped manicure, and stated I did not want to pay for it since I had such a terrible experience. She said “that’s not how it works” DEFINETELY will NOT be going back. Thanks for reading my long review. :)

Unfortunately I made a visit here when visiting Emporia and was less than impressed. Made an appointment with three friends but they seemed to forget about one person of my party which was me, and I had to wait quite a while before even being seen and was surprised at the frustration shown because they were very busy. I was also asked to pay BEFORE I got the service when other members of my party did not have to. Not to mention she was not very gentle with my hands and my cuticles were not trimmed. I do not recommend this place. The drying table was also not working. The place was less than clean.

Only reason I'm not giving zero stars is bc my pedicure was decent but not good. Other clients had long massage on their feet and legs mine wasnt. My pedi started well after another client but mine was done way before hers was. She dug the nippers into my toes to cut nail. I said it hurt and she looked at me like I was a baby. Otherwise, I had a manicure from the female owner of the place and it was terrible. She was so busy chatting on phone and being rude that she didn't even give a proper mani. By rude I mean I told her I was trying to grow out my nails and she said, yesh well you need to bc you don't have anything to file. I didn't get cuticle oil, hand massage, or other steps I saw other employees give. She cut my cuticles so badly in a few places they bled. She asked us both to pay before mani so polish wouldn't smear so I think that was one problem. My polish was smeared by her, rush job on nails so it wasn't even at all. She wouldn't fix. She told my friend & I we could leave bc our polish was dry, but as soon as we went outside our polish was messed up. When my friend talked to her about it she said that's what we get for buying cheap manicure. The pic is just one of my messed up nails she wouldn't fix.

Many years ago, I used to go to a DIFFERENT nail salon and they did a lot of damage to my nails, my nails had hurt so bad that couldn’t have acrylic nails anymore and I quit going. Years later I gave Dynamic Nails a shot…. I have been in love with them ever since! I go to Andy, but they have many fabulous nail technicians that work there, so you can go to anyone!

I went int a couple weeks ago and had the woman at the first table. I got dip nails with tips and it looked amazing. I went back today to get dip again, but instead had the older woman at table 5. I am so disappointed. I woman cut all of my nails very short without asking me first. Not my 2 weeks or growing them out is gone. On top of that, she didn't shape or even my nails out at all. She was so lazy with putting on the color. It did not go over my whole nail. Looks very sloppy! I was very excited to find a good salon here in Emporia, but now I'm not sure if I will ever go back.

That is the reason didn't give all 5 star's. Andy ended up doing mine and they looked exactly how I wanted them. He did a great job. Only other thing I'd say is he isn't very talkative I tried a couple times to start a conversation with no luck AND I ALSO AGREE WITH ANOTHER PERSON'S REVIEW THAT THEY SHOULD SPEAK ENGLISH ONLY THERE CUZ YOU ONTO KNOW IF THEY ARE TALKING BADLY ABOUT YOU OR WHAT...I THINK THAT IS VERY RUDE.. BUT It is worth the drive which is about a 45 minute drive one way for me and hoping to get in with Andy again this afternoon for another fill!

I'm really disappointed in the service we had today. I made an appt for myself and 2 other woman to get pedicures and a manicure. They told us they only had time for pedicures, which is fine. We arrived at our appt and were told they could only do basic pedicures because they were really busy, again it was fine but disappointing that we couldn't pay more to get extra pampering. What really upset us was that I asked for nail art and the technician hesitated and just laughed (again too busy) but did it anyway and then my MIL asked for it and they told her they were too busy. We reminded them that we had an appt....they said they just couldn't. They were taking walk-ins and often declining people for services. I understand that they are busy but it's not fair to those who make appts to get declined services such as nail art that takes a few extra minutes when they keep taking in those without appointments. We explained this to the owner and she made it right by doing nail art on my MIL which literally took 3-4 mins to do...Some technicians were friendly and others were unfriendly. It's hit and miss there. They told us to come back on a Monday for Tuesday if we ever want to get extra services.

I just recently started going back after an extended absence because I felt the treatment I was getting was less than stellar. I would make appointments only to be rushed and made to feel as if I was an inconvience. Tonight I had an appointment for gel polish and showed up early and asked for a pedicure along with my gel polish. Now I understand being busy but to tell me to schedule another day only to have another customer walk in with no appointment and get right in was kind of angering. The lady who did my nails was very sweet but it was clear she had no idea how to do the design I asked for. Not only are my nails very rough to the touch but they weren't 100 percent dry either. I didn't notice until I got home that parts of my nails didn't even have polish on them. It's frustrating to spend money on service like this. I won't be returning, which is sad because they actually have some great nail techs in there but I can spend my money else where and get better treatment.
