They also did fantastic with my mom who can be a challenge with some of the memory issues she has. They were so sweet and kind to her. 1/23/18 Update! I was contacted by the Manager about my experience. She was very nice and offered a free fix of my hair by another stylist. I did appreciate the jesture. I have to say that I've had a mani/pedi and waxing done there and never had an issue with those services. Always very pleasant experiences. Sarah, who has done my waxing twice is the bomb. Original: I was in for other service and asked who there best colorist was since one of the girls at the desk had beautifully colored hair. I showed pictures of what I wanted done and Macy was recommended. I had a consult with her to explain weekday i wanted, provided pics, see if she could do it. I was advised she could. I've never had a problem in past with getting a variety of color styles but it was a first with this particular combination. I was looking to do burgundy roots and rose gold or blond ends, Bayolage and a trim/re-layer. When she was done with my hair she asked what I thought. I couldn't do anything but smile and leave. It seemed pointless to tell her what the problem was because I wouldn't have trusted her to fix it. And the fact that she knew exactly what i asked for but made no mention that I'd need to come for a second sit for the full coloring or any mention that she made a mistake was my biggest concern. I ended up with a full head of burgundy hair. The ends faded slightly. My layering wasn't done. On consult I had told her i have uneven texture so my under later of hair is not as curly and grows longer than the rest so it needed to be relayed. She assured me she had learned to cut curly hair and was familiar with that. My hair didn't even look like it had been trimmed or layered. She also straightened it. Usually when I come from a shop my hair looks silky smooth, shiny, flows, and straightened in a way that makes my thin hair appear full. I don't ever have to specifically ask for that. It's just part of getting my hair done. My straightening looked worse than what I would have done myself at home. I was so disappointed. Will definitely not go back for their hair salon. $154 wasted.

I wanted to go from a honey blonde to an icy platinum with dark low lights. Marly processed me the first time and there was almost no change. It was lighter, but still honey colored. I called. Complained. They told me to come back in 2 days so Katelyn could fix it, free of charge. I showed her the pictures of what I wanted. She said most of her clients are blonde, so she "had done this a time or two". It's still not what I asked for. So, 2 bleachings & 2 tonings in 3 days, several inches cut off from damage and it's STILL not what I wanted. I'm so disappointed. I came home and cried. Waste of time and money. They can't do their job. I will NEVER go back and I will NEVER recommend them. I wish I could attach pictures

I went here on my birthday thinking I was going to get professional makeup done. When she was finished the makeup looked really bad, but I remained calm and politely told her that I didn’t like it. I do my makeup everyday and I could have done a better job. I expected to have a look beyond my every day. So I figured a place charging $50 would do just that. I even called ahead to see if they could match the makeup from a picture I found online. They said yes the evening before. The lady who was doing my makeup got upset that I didn’t like how she did it after trying twice. She treated me like I was wasting her time. She rubbed the makeup off my eyebrows so hard that my skin was red all day on my BIRTHDAY. They had another lady come over and fix it, and she was more kind, but the makeup job was still very poor. I tried to tell them what I wanted before and the other two times they tried, the first woman told me I didn’t look like the girl in the picture and that it wasn’t possible, she insinuated that I’m ugly, on my birthday again may I remind you. After being told the evening before they could match makeup on a picture. She was a young blonde woman. The second lady who was a little bit older who helped me was much more kind and willing to help. But it was just not enough to make up for the being insulted, a poor quality job, and a red forehead all day long until I went to sleep. I was charged the full $50 after this and left completely embarrassed and had to redo some of the makeup. It ended up being a huge waste of money and time. Needless to say I don’t recommend coming here for makeup. And for hair well Lawrence isn’t too far if you want professional hair done or there is a Tom & Ann’s in town. I will never go back. And I will continue to recommend other salons to anyone I know. I should have done something about it on my birthday, this last June, June 29th, but I was in a big hurry and was already embarrassed enough I didn’t want to make a big fuss. Seriously was the worst my makeup has ever looked. I, or anyone deserves better treatment and service. Save yourself the trouble and pick a more professional company.

We have never ever found a place that will cut our children's hair to our liking until we took them here. Madison works wonders on my ever so curious and rambunctious 4 year old. And she has such wonderful ideas when I have no clue what to do. The front desk ladies are always a pleasure. Even when they are really busy, they still take the extra second to greet and make sure you feel welcome and to get you a refreshment. I will absolutely 100% of the time recommend this spa to anyone who asks me where to go and I will not go anywhere else for anything again. Product not worth the price. I paid around the same price as I always do for my son's hair to be completely colored. But this is the first salon that the product was bad, cheap, or maybe the stylist we picked didnt let it set long enough. His hair has faded so fast in less than a month. We color it once a yr. We normally get 3 months of a bright vibrant color. They got two stars for being able to make the appointment by text. Which is super nice. And for the decor. My son never went swimming after he had his hair colored. the stylist never even talked to me.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I was having a lot of back and shoulder pain. I decided to get a deep tissue massage, instead of going to the dr.. I had a facial as well. It reduced the pain quite a bit in my shoulder and eliminated my lower back pain. The girls were wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. Try amassage before you go to the dr.. First visit to this salon and my stylist was Brandi. I showed her several photos of the pixie cut I wanted from every angle and she cut my hair exactly like the photos. She styled it and showed me how to style it myself and what type of product to use. I love the cut and will be going back! The salon was clean, all my interactions with staff were friendly and none of the staff tried to push the sale of products on me which sometimes happens at other salons. I highly recommend! Well, I was really excited about my first appointment at this salon and was quickly disappointed when the front desk staff (while I was sitting there) told my stylist they just booked her a haircut that was to start two and a half hours after my appointment for a cut and multi-process color had started. My stylist didn't end up having time for highlights, and we instead had to opt for an all over color which really wasn't what I had in mind. I'm giving it a second shot, though, and booked my next appointment as the last appointment of the day (I hope) this time! So, I may be changing my rating after the next appointment, but we'll see.

I would NOT recommend Bella Vita and here's why: Bella Vita is scamming customers by misleading them with prices clearly posted on their website, making an appointment under one type of hair cut then charging the customer a different fee, overcharging them actually. Which is unfortunate because I love supporting local businesses but this is the first and last time Bella Vita will get my money. When I made an appointment the receptionist placed me for a women's express haircut, which is quoted at $30 on their website, even though I informed her that I would be getting a pixie cut. After getting my haircut I was charged $42, despite not getting a shampoo, just a cut. When I spoke to the manager, Carrie, she gave me excuses that she would not honor the original $30 quote because a blow dryer was used and my hair wet with water. Anyone woman who has ever had their hair cut will agree that hair cut prices posted on the company's website or quoted include the use of a blow dryer and styling. What else would a hair cut be if it didn't? Even after explaining that I was quoted for an express cut which is $30 on their site and that it was never communicated that I would be charged differently Carrie, the manager, would not honor it. I have had my hair cut in London, the Philippines and multiple states and NEVER have I been charged additional for having my hair blow dried and wet with water. This is absolutely unacceptable and a scam which has probably been ongoing without customers knowing. Sure Bella Vita has high ratings but after being overcharged and nothing was done to resolve the issue they should not. Lastly, I called my credit card to dispute the charge and when they called Bella Vita Carrie would not speak to them. If a company is reputable they should stand behind their services/products and not be afraid to answer questions from a 3rd party. Also, the manager should not not make ridiculous excuses for overcharging customers. Again, Bella Vita is scamming customers by misleading them with prices clearly posted on their website, making an appointment under one type of hair cut then charging the customer a different fee. It's never acceptable for businesses to take advantage of their customers but it's even worse when it's a local business and they had multiple chances to make it right. This is sad and pathetic for a business to be run this way.

Update- I originally posted a less than favorable review after my first experience at this salon. However, I should have reached out to the owner or manager first to discuss my issues. The owner saw my review and stated I could contact her. I did reach out to her and she made things right. I did go back to the salon to get my hair fixed, even though I was very hesitant to do so. Everyone was very friendly and the stylist I had this time did a great job. I did schedule my next cut and brow wax while I was there. I am super happy that I went back and I appreciate that the stylist was very thorough. Original post: After seeing cuts/coloring on Instagram and a few referrals, I set an appointment at the salon. I took in multiple pictures of the cut I wanted that showed all the different angles. I was wanting about two inches cut off from my hair and ended up with about 5 and 1/2 inches cut off. I felt my appointment (which I came in earlier for, probably the last person for the stylist for the evening) was very rushed. I got my eyebrows waxed and hair washed, cut and styled, picked out product and checked out within 35 minutes. My hair looked ok after she curled the ends under, but when I got home and looked at it closer, I noticed that the sides aren't symmetrical and each side itself isn't even. I almost called the manager the next day, but I can only imagine how awkward it would be to go back in there. Especially, since the ladies up front like to gossip about people after they leave. I'd rather pay someone else to fix it. However, I don't want my hair any shorter than it already is. They also didn't give me a receipt and even though I was told one price for the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner I was getting, even with the 15% plinko discount, my shampoo and conditioner was more than my haircut, wax and almost the tip too. I'm sure regulars have a great experience there, but I didn't and I won't go back.

Bella Vita Salon offers it all! Hair, nails massage, facials! They are always up to speed on the latest hair colors and styles. Madi is amazing, she listens, remembers that I prefer my hair cut dry. I went there for the first time today after someone (another beautician) destroyed my hair. What I mean by that is that my hair was cut uneven, the colors were uneven and very brassy instead of blonde. I was paired with Kate and she took on the challenge. She fixed my disaster! I was given a cut and coloring and at a decent price. To be honest, it was the BEST service I've ever had and the best results. I've tried many places but I have found, today, who I will be returning to every single time. Thank you ladies! Also, all of the employees were super friendly and helpful. Recommend!!

Bella Vita Salon is a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to go to get their hair done and any another beauty needs. They have an awesome team of lovely ladies and gentlemen. Marly has done my daughter's hair everytime we have come in, my daughter loves her and her blue hair. She is very talented, friendly and outgoing lady. Who actually can get my daughter to crack a smile (lol life with a teenager daughter lol)

Where to begin. I went to this place based on reviews since I was in town for almost a month and wanted to get a pedicure and redo my SNS nails. Boy was I disappointed. I waited to write my review so I can think about the service and make sure I was not overreacting. After serious thought/reflection over two weeks, I would conclude that I personally, would NOT recommend this place. The SNS was done so cheaply. There was no use of base coats and it was not smoothed out AT ALL. My nails look like a child straight out of YouTube did them. The technician claims she had done them for a long time and insisted on using gel polish for the top coat because it won’t change colors or anything. WRONG. I have been getting my nails done for years and have not had a problem with them ever with SNS color changing or lifting. Plus, they are very limited on colors. If you are looking for anything other than a basic color, don’t waste your time. Maybe if you are going for a manicure it may be worth it, but anything above that, go elsewhere. I can’t wait to get back home to my nail tech to get them done AND if you are going for a basic pedicure, expect to go home and scrub your own feet with your own pumice stone. It won’t get done. What she did was not close to a pedicure. This place is NOT worth the money or time. I will make sure everyone I know coming to Leavenworth does not waste their time with this place. Thank you. AG
