Once a month I park my automobile on the busied streets of overland Park where three hour limits are in place. Two doors north of the clock tower where the time chimes noon I find the salon of Ashley Nelson Studios. I bide my time waiting getting coffee next door, pastries northwards, and gimmick gifts across the street. Finally my appointment time arrives and I enter. The studio, this Oasis of peace upon the hectic hells of Earth, welcomes you with turquoise and blue. The beautiful floors, the plush chairs, the achingly perfect sunlight pouring inside, filling my heart and my eyes. Before I am overwhelmed in gratefulness of my existence I'm welcomed by the amazing and caring staff. I'm there to have my hair done by Anna Claire the artist genius of hair color. I'm a dude with job restrictions on hair so I skip the color and take the cut. I enjoy conversation with this kind soul and the hair stylist to her right named Lotus. Afterwards I could have nails done by Phon, makeup by Ashley Nelson (the celebrity herself), massage, and so much more by the remaining members of this heavenly Haven. The restroom is a quiet study of enlightenment itself with plush chair to sit upon. The ceramic throne well lit and quality, absorbent paper towel to dry my delicate hands!! But be wary as the signs tell you that you are in a quiet zone. The massage rooms are resting and all conversation can be heard. I silence my phone and will my bodily fluids to quietly depart. This place is not a studio or salon but truly a fabled land of joy upon the world and tucked inside downtown Overland Park.

I get my manicures done by Margaret Scardino, and let me tell you his salon is top notch!! They are wonderfully priced with amazing service to go along. Margaret does a 1 hour pedicure and a 1 your gel or regular manicure, her manicures and pedicures are to die for. The salon is well kept very cute and smells like fresh roses! I recommend this place to anyone lookin for a fantastic pedicure, manicure or both at a great price and wonderful service! They also offer massages, facials, waxing and make overs!

This week specifically I've gotten a ton of compliments on my eyeshadow, so I wanted to point you all in the right direction. <3 I bought it from an old friend, Ashley Nelson! It's absolutely amazing. I use copper rose shadow sense from senegence underneath and then followed by one of three shades of shadow from Ashley Nelson Studios! <3 I've never gotten more compliments! It stays on all day and does not crease! <3 Her studio is clean and well organized, which is also great, and welcoming!

Ashley Nelson studios is the best! Ashley is extremely knowledgeable about skincare and has many options available to treat and pamper your skin. My current favorite is hydrodermabrasion--my skin has never felt cleaner! Ashley Nelson has also formulated her own skincare line, as well as makeup, both of which I recommend. The studio is very beautifully decorated and feels like a peaceful oasis in downtown Overland Park with many cute shops and restaurants, making it easy to make a day of it when visiting!

Ashley is amazing! I first met her a few years ago when she did makeup for Kansas City Fashion Week, and we have kept in touch since then even though I live in Omaha. I make sure to stop by every time I'm in the area to add to my collection of Ashley Nelson original eye shadows, foundations, and especially lip stains because they are beautiful and don't bother my sensitive skin. She's done a great job with my models back in the KC Fashion Week days, I didn't want to let go of my 4-year-old professional headshot where she did my makeup, she has accommodated my friends and family for a spa party, and I can't wait for her to do my wedding makeup in a couple months. I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with that!

Ashley is the only person I trust when it comes to my skin! She is very knowledgeable & her facials are so relaxing! She also does an amazing job with makeup. She has done my makeup a few times, including for my wedding & it was absolutely stunning. The massage therapist here is also my go-to! If you want a spa day, this is the place to be!

This review is for DIVINE BEAUTY BY LISA ADAMS Called to schedule my facial and she’s all booked till end of May!!! I tell her unfortunately I can’t redeem this groupon then coz I’m moving out of state May 11th. Lisa was not very helpful or willing to help AT ALL. She sounded rushed on the phone, very unpleasant and said I should contact Groupon . Well I let her know I did try contacting Groupon and their customer service is not existent anymore!!! No one will answer the phone and the app wasn’t helpful either. Well let’s just say all this headache is not worth a meager $25 facial !!! What the hell happened to customer service?????
