This salon is truly one of a kind! Every single part of my experience was wonderful from the moment I walked in the door and was asked if I would like a complimentary beverage to offering to put my coat on for me as I was leaving. I was able to get a cut and color last minute as they had a last minute opening. Kaitlyn started with my cut which is the best haircut I’ve ever had! My hair actually frames my face wonderfully and feels thick now! Ruby then followed with my color which I love! I have dark hair and she was able to put the prettiest balayage highlights throughout my hair. Renee washed and styled my hair and was so sweet to chat with and gave me the best style ever in a short amount of time (I was rushing her because I had a meeting right after). Renee provided express checkout so I checked out as I was styling and was out the door in time. Everyone here works as a team and is so talented. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!

My colorist and stylist are great! I arrived the first time need an emergency color correction! They listened and did a wonderful job of “fixing” my hair. And I’ve been going back ever since! The only drawback is parking. That is the only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star rating.

I’ve gone to a lot of cheaper stylists and salons, but Salon Spa W’s stylists and colorists always get my hair right. I have naturally curly red hair, which is not easy to color to look natural. Other colorists from other salons have made my hair purple, brown and blonde. Other stylists have cut my curls so that they fall unevenly. But now that I’ve found Salon Spa W, I will not go elsewhere. I get so many compliments on my hair, and I attribute that to great color and great cuts!

This was my first time going to Salon Spa W. I needed an eyebrow wax like you wouldn't believe and a opted for a manicure as well. Zoe did my manicure and she was amazing. She was super friendly and personable. She helped me pick the perfect color. She even recommended the salt scrub which I did and I am so glad I did. My hands feel refreshed and look beautiful and better than before. Then I saw Mia for an eyebrow wax and she did a lovely job. She shaped them perfectly to my face and was gentle. Which helps when you're getting any kind of wax. I definitely did not leave disappointed and will definitely return for some more "me time" and even some sister time.

I was initially really excited to get my hair done here. but I left with almost the exact color I came in with, I barely noticed the difference. and the girl who cut my hair did NOT cut it how I asked, so not worth the 300+ i paid. when I tried to reschedule to get my color a second go out of faith they tried to make me come at 10 in the morning and later the same day at 4. I live 45 minutes from the salon. it's ridiculous to assume someone would any to waste a whole day around 2 different hair appointments instead of just doing it all at once.. needless to say I went into a Walmart salon and got exactly what I want the first time. so no. I wouldn't recommend. I wish I could give less then one star

Absolutely amazing experience!! I was in Des Moines for business and desperately needed a haircut after work. I am from New York, so my expectations were low and I really only wanted a trim. Salon And Spa W did not disappoint at all and went above and beyond! The minute I walked in someone offered to check me in while I sat down and they offered complimentary wine/Prosecco (and gave me a complimentary refill too). I had Lauren as my stylist and she was sweet, professional and knowledgeable. Once my consultation was done, I got a complimentary scalp massage and hand paraffin wax. After my “do” was complete I was also offered a complimentary makeup touch up on my way out. Great haircut, amazing experience, well worth the money and can’t recommend enough!

Best deep tissue massage ever!!! Kat is amazing I visited the salon for the first time. They offered me a beverage while I filled out a my information on a tablet. I picked sparkling wine out of the numerous options that were on menu. The ambience of the salon is simply amazing, very upbeat and lively. I had an appointment with Kat for a Deep Tissue massage. I'm not even exaggerating when I say this - it was one of the best massages I've ever had. Massage Room: beautiful room, like a studio apartment with in-room shower, mirror, lot of space etc. Peaceful setting with the perfect lightning and music. Massage Bed: High quality heated bed that soothes the sore body. Kat put extra pillows to lay my legs on which made the experience even better. Massage: I opted for a Deep tissue treatement. Kat was brilliant, very professional, and knew what she was doing. I felt extremely refreshed after the treatment. She even gave me DIY tips that I could use at home to improve my body flexibility. Best part of the massage was when she wrapped a hot towel around my face & another one around my legs, and massaged the part from over. Cost: $70/hr + taxes Overall: I've already booked my next appointment. 100% worth it and will recommend it definitely.
