I love this place! It's so wonderful and relaxing. I've been there twice for bikini waxes once provided by Sherri and the other by Vanessa. They were both very pleasant and made the experience very painless. My favorite part of this place is their meditation tent.

I love this place. I love the beautiful scent as you walk in the door. The friendly people who greet you. The spa sandals they give you. An offering of something to drink and then a place to chill out in their tents. Very peaceful. I've been here several times doing several different services and it's all been top notch. Very professional and lovely.

The whole atmosphere of the spa is intimate and relaxing. My hour facial was the best I've ever enjoyed, leaving my skin soft and my whole body relaxed. The feeling lasted for two days! My manicure was just okay. I asked for clear polish, so I got a base coat and the "dazzle dry," no layer of regular polish. My nails were not buffed, so the ridges we accentuated by the shine. I will return, but for a facial.

My fiance surprised me with the couples package here last Friday. We've come once before about 2 years ago and had a great experience. This time....it really wasnt worth it. To begin with, I was extremely disappointed with my massage. We got deep tissues and there was no pressure...it was essentially a rub down. I asked her for more pressure twice and she seemed like she was trying but it didnt feel much different. After the massages we had pedicures and then went to the sauna. The pedicure results were great but overall, I felt we spent more time waiting during the service than actually getting the service (she attended to another client in the middle). Afterwards, we waited almost 30 minutes to get to the shower/sauna. I definitely expected to wait a bit but not that long. In addition, there was someone in the relaxing tent on their laptop with a bright screen. Not relaxing at all. I know several staff saw her but didnt do anything about. Maybe she was a staff person herself? Idk. We ended up having to rush out to get to our dinner on time. We've done this exact package before (with the addition of a manicure) and we finished in less time. Overall, pretty disappointed considering it was pretty expensive.

I have NOTHING good to say. I requested a gel manicure. I left at 7pm and the no chip started chipping at 6am while on the way to the airport... WOW... not even 12 hours for a NO CHIP. NOT HAPPY ESPECIALLY SINCE I'M HEADED TO PUNTA CUNA.

Just did the couples retreat, started with a private sauna for the 2 of us, then went to a meditation place until the massage started. The massage is the best I've ever had. Would go back again soon.

Meh. Got a gift card for a massage and manicure and upgraded to a longer massage instead because of a wrist injury- I can't do the manicure and ended up paying more than I anticipated for the upgrade- also had to pay for parking even with their validation. I'd rather see a more medically knowledgeable massage therapist for sports medicine/ injuries than spa massage. The whole experience was weird and not entirely comfortable. I wouldn't go back. I didn't really find the atmosphere particularly relaxing either. Overall I wish i could've just gotten a refund for the gift card to use at a more suitable place for my needs.

Excellent! My husband booked a massage, scalp massage and shower for my birthday. I am always skeptical being super picky and critical with massage therapists BUT was blown away. From the moment I entered the building, I was treated with 5-star service. Everyone is extremely kind, gracious and inviting. The relaxation tent was a great place to start my day. I was greeted by Leah for my massage and scalp massage. She listened to all of my needs and the massage was FANTASTIC! She addressed all of my back tension with great pressure and strokes. Was able to take a shower and get ready for the rest of my day. Check out was excellent as well! Loved the overall experience and will come back. Everything exceeded my expectations (which is hard to do)!

Booked a appointment for a facial. Just a regular facial. I used to go for facials once a month at Z salon and spa, in Louisville, KY. I saw Elizabeth here at Allyu Spa and she gave me the most incredible experience. Best facial i have ever received. I'm also very much into skin care and I learned so much from Elizabeth. We discussed different products lines from different brands. Learned a lot while being completely relaxed. I can't wait to go back. I schedule another appointment with Elizabeth before I left the Spa

Went here with a coworker for mani/pedis. The atmosphere is really nice, calming and relaxing. We got the callous care pedicures which were really great. The massage was the best part and she took time on each foot/calve. I can confidently say that my big toe callous looks significantly better. The part that has really bugged me - and has made me leave this review - is that our $45 dollar no chip manicure chipped within TWO days on BOTH mine and my coworkers hands. I have never had a no-chip chip so fast, especially one that is that expensive. It is really disappointing especially since there are a million cheaper places that you can go.

You can't beat the price! Is it a ritzy, luxury Spa? No. But I've been to the ritzy, luxury Spas in Chicago and this Spa is way more worth your time and money. They don't have a pool or steam area, but the massage I had was the best I've had in a long time. I highly recommend Tania. I felt totally relaxed and revived after my service.

This is my go-to place for massages. The user experience of this spa is exceptional. From intake to relaxing in the meditation area, every moment spent in this facility is pure relaxation. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. I've had one hour massages to their prenatal package and have been blown away every single time. If you go to another spa after this one, you will know its not the same.

I was tasked with booking a spa retreat for my workplace here and I am so glad I did!! My first experience with a spa and I wish I could do it every day. Nothing but smiles on the staff when we arrived. The correspondence beforehand with Regina the event coordinator was smooth and she was very patient with all my questions. We had a large group that Allyu was able to schedule and manage, even down to the personal preferences of each person. My practitioner was Jake and he is phenomenal (no exaggeration). I know everyone else in our group appreciated their experience as much as I did. Hopefully be able to visit again very soon :)

I was lucky enough to spend an entire day at Allyu Spa, and it was such an amazing experience. The ambiance creates an immediate sense of relaxation, and all employees add that low-key vibe. The music, the lighting, the scent in the air- it's everything you imagine a day spa should be. I had a facial, manicure, pedicure, massage, body wrap, and an infrared sauna session- they were all wonderful experiences! All of the technicians were very professional and offered suggestions, recommendations, and made sure to make me feel comfortable. The relaxation tent was awesome, as well! I cannot wait to return!

My time with Allyu Spa was great. I read a lot of reviews before confirming an appointment. When I called to asked questions about a massage vs. reflexology, based upon my interests, the staff member suggested the 90 minute massage/reflexology session. I went with her suggestion. IT WAS FABULOUS! I know I drifted off to sleep a few times which says a lot. It was what I really needed. I did one night as a "staycation" and had this as part of my relaxing night "away". It was recommended to me by the B&B where I stayed. And yes, the tent is very awesome as is the overall ambiance set when you walk through the door. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Allyu Spa. The staff helped me create a custom package of services that filled the afternoon and flowed beautifully. We began with the Infrared Sauna which was a new experience and one that we both would absolutely do again. After a quick shower, we moved to their relaxation area which we affectionately called, “The Red Tent,” a zen space in the middle of the treatment rooms. Both of us had massages and a reflexology treatments. My massage therapist, Christine, was very intuitive and worked the necessary areas to perfection. The reflexology therapist, Jenny, helped me understand the different points and how they affected my body. Allyu Spa delivered well beyond our expectations and with service fees at a reasonable price point. We highly recommend Allyu Spa and look forward to booking our next spa day!

Nestled in the pinnacle of River North, Allyu offers escape and treatments to tempt everyone: rejuvenating massages, facials, nail services, and more. I booked a two hour massage. That's right, I didn't even know that was a thing - it was incredible especially for someone with chronic pain or a situation! A fully indulgent pampering in their hidden treatment rooms, this small but perfectly formed spa transformed my tired body into a what I can only remember as normal with lasting effects. The therapist listened to my concerns and adjusted as requested delivering a really nice treatment. She stretched my ribcage, which was mildly concerning yet left me with space and a great sensation when breathing afterwards. It's good to have experienced massage therapists who really know their anatomy. On a previous appointment I had a facial. Memories of gentle butterfly wings applying products that left an attractive glow were all used. Yep, exactly that! On the whole, including the spa shop, complimentary tea, twinkly music and sensations experienced I'd recommend Allyu to you.

It was a lovely, relaxing afternoon. I had a massage, facial, and spa pedicure, and each person was great! The only thing I think you should consider would be to have different robe sizes--my guest that afternoon was larger and there wasn't a robe to fit her comfortably.

I really wanted to love this place but Customer Service is lacking. First time there, I arrive for my massage and they never notified me that the masseuse that I had requested had family emergency until I was in the room with a different masseuse. Second time, I had threading done with Cindy and she was persistent about my eyebrows which is not what I requested. She would say well I have done this for long time and I am very detail oriented. She did not provide a mirror after the completion of the service. I go home and there were a lot of peach fuzz remaining. I called them and they mentioned I can see a different esthetician and they can fit me in later that evening when that is the least they should do. The manager never even connected with me to apologize. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This spa is wonderful if you are going for a massage or facial. The spa has a very relaxing atmosphere (even the lobby), the staff is attentive, and the meditation tent where you wait between services is really lovely. HOWEVER: BEWARE of the nail salon! It is already expensive and the quality is TERRIBLE! I got a gel “no chip” manicure today at 4:45. It’s currently 10:45 and 2 nails have already chipped. I’m shocked and really sad that this manicure has already started falling apart in 6 hours. I wanted to treat myself to a nice mani before vacation but now I just feel disappointed I wasted my money and time. $45 for this terrible quality is inexcusable, I will not EVER be returning here for any type of manicure.

This place was a hidden gem for me. The first time I went to Allyu was with my birthday gift card for a massage and had an incredible experience there. The atmosphere in the spa was serene and very relaxing. After my massage I was given an option to take a rain shower and stay in their meditation tent. Every detail in the spa starting from soothing background music, pleasant smells, people whispering and up to the friendly and attentive staff was inviting and made me come back there a few more times. Now they also send me different offers which I truly appreciate.

I am literally sitting in their meditation room right now in awe of how great these services have been. I have had many facials (I'm in esthetician school) and massages. But, hands down, this is the best facial (by Shay!!) and massage (by Roger) that I have ever had. They were both so intuitive in their craft, Shay's techniques were so so impressive and Roger took the time to feel what areas were tense and understood my needs. My friend is with me and said the same thing, and had the prenatal spa package at 8 months and feels amazing. Highly recommend, I'll be coming back.

Let me start off by saying if I could give them more than 5 stars I WOULD! Today was my first time in Allyu Spa, and honestly I couldn't be happier. Today I scheduled a Massage and Virginia was my masseuse. She is so wonderful! I swear her hands and touch are healing! She is very respectful and educated. Her massage was the best! She puts the perfect pressure where its needed. Thank you Virginia for being so awesome and friendly! I also scheduled a Manicure. Sahar was the one who took care of me. She is very gentle, very detailed and also very respectful. Thank you Allyu Spa because wvery single staff member smiled and was very kind to me. I appreciate everything. I was looking for a Spa in Chicago to take my sister for her birthday. Since I am new on town was just looking online and found Allyu Spa. I could not be happier with the experience. The Spa takes you into a Zen vibe. I had a massage+chakra balance with Stephanie and she was great. I liked particularly that after the treatment she explained to me what as treated and further explanations. Overall a great experience.
