Went to get my nails done on a day trip to Coeur d'Alene. The girl didn't know how to do an ombré nails and had to ask for help. These are the second worst nails I've ever gotten. They are all a different shapes and lengths (as shown in photo) the ombre is a straight line and there are lumps and bumps and wierdcurves everywhere. She didn't understand what I wanted and even after explaining to her what I want, she did it her way. For $80USD and over 2 hours - this is ridiculous.

Not only does the salt scrub and hot towel treatments feel amazing but it's a sense of knowing how sanitary and clean you feel before, during and after!! So, obviously every negative review that is in place, stephanie says thay she tries to look you up in the system or couldnt find you. This should be your first hint to stay away! Not sure how she would accommodate anyone as she is never actually there. And all of you that loved work by czera and kaity? They both quit! If i could give this place zero stars i would. Also reviews from julie potts and tasha adney and nathan cassidy are employees. i would never recommend this place for the simple fact that the owner doesn't know how to do business. She is horrible to customers but even worse to employees ive experienced it first hand. She doesnt care what anyone has to say she is law of the land? But go experience the negativity for yourself. Just ask one of the 89 million who dont work for or talk to her anymore! From improper sanitation to forcing estheticians to do nail work that they are not licensed in, stay away from this place unless you want nails that reflect the person who owns it. Terrible. Her response is a joke. She accuses all of her staff of stealing and slander when she fires them. Then she holds their final check and blocks them so they can't obtain it there is a reason why she has 50 out of 54 former staff members who want nothing to do with her. Everything in her response is a lie so dont be fooled. Its not slander if its true ! Lol also if she has all these things againat me to pursue legal action why hasnt she? Because they are all false. I was fired after i got stuck with a dirty hypodermic needle while on site . Due to the fact that she was embarassed she fired me. Also let it be known she emplpys students in tbe field to do work they are not licensed to do. And it is highly illegal and this is just the tip of the iceberg. did i mention she gives her customers 5 dollars off to leave a positive review??? Lol

This is a lengthy review. I like others had chosen this spa/salon for the wonderful reviews that were given so I scheduled a basic manicure, basic pedicure, facial and some waxing. I am not sure how long the gal who did my nails had been working there but she was very nice and seemed kind of shy. While I was getting the manicure done I was asked if I wanted to do the gel nails, I initially declined but then changed my mind and asked that if there was time I would do it, there was so I got them. The end results, I was happy with them. But the entire time during the manicure the owner was at the nail station next to me giving a complimentary manicure to one of her friends. Very disappointing to hear the owner use the "F" word repeatedly, talk on the phone with potential clients and do business the entire time I was at the nail station. The owner told me that I should do the French Tip on my nails , I replied no thank you just the gel will do. She said again I should do it, I told her no that I do not like them and that my nails are thin and putting the acrylics or whatever it is that is used on my nails destroys them. She gave a shocked looked almost as if I didn't know what I was talking about but continued on with her complimentary guest. My pedicure, a dry salt scrub wiped off with warm wet towels hadn't had that done that way before but was willing to give it a go. I had the same gal for my tootsies as for the manicure. Very different results, I also choose to upgrade to the gels. The polish was lumpy, uneven and did not cover the entire nail. The gal was nice though. My facial, the owner was the one who took care of my facial and waxing. Happy to say that the "F" word was not used during the service, there was however a lot of talking about an event she was going to after she was done with my services. Normally I do not find talking so much a distraction for myself during a facial but this was a bit different. The facial and waxing services by themselves were good and was asked if I would like to have my brows cleaned up, I said sure. During service it began to feel as though she was more concerned with the event she was going to than she was with the services she was providing. This distraction I feel was a contributing factor with the wax beads being spilled all over the floor, her inattentiveness towards myself as a client, me feeling like I was getting in the way of her going out with one of her friends who was patiently waiting at the front desk and then my eyebrows......when she handed me the mirror all I could say was "they are gone" I went from fairly full brows to what felt like pencil thin. I did pay what I expected to pay for my services and hind sight tells me I should not have left any kind of a tip. The owner did offer to show me how to pencil in my brows I can only assume because she saw the look of shock on my face, I did decline. I also did not mention anything about the nails because somehow I felt that the young lady who did them would have gotten the bum end of the stick. But I was just wanting to get out of there and felt I couldn't do so fast enough. I booked these services while Polished was at the old location back in 2016 thankfully 1 week before my wedding (they knew about this also) so my eyebrows could kind of grow back in. I have not been back since not because of the services but because of the owner and how she acted during the time I was there.

Had a nail emergency yesterday and was visiting from out of town. Stephanie, the owner, fit me in in 45 minutes even though they were super busy. She served us wine and was so friendly. When she got to me, she was just so amazing and happy. It’s clear that her staff and customers love her. I will go there anytime I’m in CDA! It was a great experience!

My daughter, Kathryn & I were looking for a salon for 2 manicures, we contacted Polished, and luckily, they had 2 openings. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated royally by Stephanie & Lindsey, relaxing in the massage chairs, sipping on a Mimosa (yum!). Lindsey (sp?sorry if not right) gave both of us one of the best manicures either of us have ever had, after 9 days, our nails still look great! My wife had a terrible skin reaction to one of the salt scrub product that was used during the pedicure, which was supposedly more sanitary than a traditional foot bath according to the technicians. After an initially difficult conversation, the owner offered assistance the next day, provided antibiotic cream, and promised a refund. It has since been 3 weeks, my wife's legs still not have fully healed, and no refund in sight. We will not be returning.

It’s frustrating when things aren’t as advertised. I wouldn’t have paid this premium price if I didn’t think I was getting more out of it.

The service here is so phenomenal that I’ve never stopped going since the day Polished opened. In August 2017 I moved to the other side of Spokane but I continue to drive 45 mins to downtown CdA to be pampered and get top notch nails done. I particularly love getting a glass of wine! My friend Janette and I were looking for a new Salon because we were tired of the rude way JK Salon was treating us. Polished is just the opposite! Even though I was running late, I was warmly greeted by Stephanie and the pampering began...Started off with melting in the squishy heated vibrating chair. Then we got blessed with great conversation,warm neck wraps, hot oils, hot towels, chilled eye pillows, and some great massaging! And were were just getting manis-pedis! Oh my goodness!! This was by far the most relaxing atmosphere I have ever experienced while being pampered to the fullest. Ashley did an amazing job on my toes and fingers and didn't stop until I was completely happy. She kept a lively conversation and made sure my wine glass was full the entire time! ;) I was so relaxed that I could of fallen asleep. I would go back in a heart beat. First of all I don't do reviews often as I have high standards and usually they aren't met. HOWEVER THIS PLACE IS TOP NOTCH! What a Great atmosphere stephanie knows how to do nails she is the real deal. Full sculpt nails no glued on trashy tips no cutting your nails to make tip fit on. For 55 dollars for a full set of sculpted nails with gel polish and art is the same cost that those cheap walk in salons would charge its a screaming deal for the quality of work. These acrylics feel like my natural grown nails and they are solid!! it has been 10 days and they look like they were just done still. All that and neck warmer and wine seriously I am never getting my nails done anywhere else EVER. Further more stephanie's employees truly cherish her and she them. It was very loving happy environment don't waste your money anywhere else.

We went Mother’s Day weekend for mimosas and pedicures. First they were out of champagne so our husbands brought in a bottle for us then our pedicures were not worth $45! They don’t soak your feet nor clean and scrub them like every other place. We basically got our toes painted and lotion rubbed on for $45. She is so fun and went out of her way to make everything perfect before the big day. My facial was so amazing and luxurious, I purchased a package. I had the worst experience here, and I tried to resolve it, but the owner has not been very communicative. I apologize for this long review, but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did. I scheduled a spa day for my Best Friend, who was getting married, back in October of 2018. I paid $689 for 2 of us to get multiple services. The first issue was pricing. I was quoted 488 for 4 full services. We ended up paying $689. I contacted the owner and we figured all of it out except $57 of it. 488 for 4 services, +15, +15 because both of us got gel nails, +35 for tips (I wish I hadn't tipped at all now), +65+39.50 because we added on hair color and cut. That should equal $657.50, but my bill came to $689.50, which is a $32 difference. But the original quote was for 2 full sets of nails, but the bride's was only charged as a fill on the receipt, which is a $25 difference, so that's a difference of $57. The next issue is quality. The bride had to change her footwear because her pedicure was messed up. We didn't notice until she was getting ready on the wedding day, or we would have said something at the salon. it was very noticeable, so I don't know why the salon artist let us leave with it that way? I was the officiant, and we had to cancel some of our photos because my full set of nails were horrible. I would have said something at the salon, but we had already complained about the brides nails and had them redone, we really did not have time to fix mine. We were already there from 10am-4pm. Neither of our nails looked like the pictures that the nail artists promised they could do. That would have been okay if they had been clean and shaped correctly... but all of it was bad. I contacted the owner and we came to an agreement that because of all the issues, she would refund me for my full set of nails and we would call it good. That's $60. Now, here I am, two months later, filing a report with the better business bureau, because she has not refunded and will not respond to my emails or texts (I've been VERY patient and spaced them out. I haven't contacted her since November after she told me to give her some time to figure out why the "refund didn't go through". Now she's not answering at all, even when I asked for updates. Very unprofessional. Very bad job.

My mom, aunt, cousin and I came here for pedicures. They were able to accommodate all 4 of us at the same time, which was a plus. All of the staff were wonderful and friendly - Czera was my nail care specialist and she was exceptional! Owner was super nice. Quick appointment for nails next morning after call with a new staff member. Also got a bang trim. Everyone was nice and professional. The 3 rating is because I am comparing to my regular service back home, where quality of nails and bang cut is higher, amount of time spent in salon is less than half, and prices are much lower - with both my nail person and hair person using as natural and organic products as possible. I was delighted to get an appointment here quick (next morning) while I was passing through town and delighted to get my bangs trimmed and nails done in same visit, with bangs only taking a few minutes. Everyone was nice and I appreciated the service while on a very long vacation.

Oh, wow. What an amazing experience. So I first went to the wrong place, and embarassingly called the salon ten minutes prior to my appointment (I'd been dropped off and had no way of getting to Polished) and Steph CAME AND GOT ME and was completely chilled out the whole time. "No big deal! Don't worry about it babe!" Got me a protein shake which I'm sure is way out of the ordinary and then we went to the salon. Ho. Ly. Crap. What a beautifully designed boutique. The soft colours of the salon mixed with the stylised furniture complete with the Pandora mix she has over the sound system is exquisite for the place. It smells not of chemicals and sterilisation, but of faint perfume and warmth. It's got a fantastic atmosphere, and she even offered me tea or coffee when I got in, but I still had the shake! So I had quite a bit of work done - waxing my legs, underarms, bikini, lip, eyebrows and had a facial too. Nobody is going to believe this, but Steph's waxing procedure was so gentle that I FELL ASLEEP when she was doing my shins. There was black wax she used which I think she said was imported from France and the other one for my delicate areas which was brown (although I could have these mixed up) which came from somewhere else. Steph really cares about her salon, and you can tell from the minute you walk in (or in my case, well beforehand) that she will bend over backwards to make sure you have an amazing experience and leaving feeling polished. Because that's exactly how I felt. When I woke up from my facial, after having been waxed and washed, and polished and just pampered, I felt honest-to-god BEAUTIFUL. I give this place five stars because it hit every nail on the head perfectly: staff were accommodative and their expertise both in services and products was quite evident. The premises were welcoming, professional and clean. The products were gentle and effective. Their demeanour was welcoming and chatty but also understanding and courteous. If you're looking for somewhere to spoil yourself, are new to CdA, or want to treat yourself or someone else to a pampering session, call Polished and ask for Steph and mention the 'big review' here, she will tell you I actually did fall asleep on her waxing table!! Haha :D

I just wanted to drop a note on here as I have been to polished 4 times now, and feel I can give a very fair and accurate review of the team and services. Let me just say, I love this place. Every time I have come here I have felt welcome, part of the staff, and truly taken care of. They offer beverages, the salon is beautiful and it is the little things like taking your coat, and making sure your comfortable that sets the tone of a pampering ;-), and they got this down! My first visit was for Mani/Pedi's and they were great! This is where we met the owner, and I had my boyfriends 16 year old daughter with me. It is funny because I have read some of the reviews about the staff not liking each other and I have never witnessed that as a regular client. I felt and do feel comfortable with how they help each other, myself and a teenager, and frankly they always seem to be having a great time! Even when you can tell they are busy, and a very popular place. Also I want to mention the owner, Stephanie, and just call out she has helped my boyfriends daughter overcoming some skin issues, and donated her time (free in some cases) to ensure she can get through these challenges. Honestly I've never had a business offer that, and since I have gone in for facials myself and will continue to come in. She is professional, loving, and frankly damn good. My skin has never looked better. The treatments, services, location, and salon are beautiful and the staff is genuinely caring and competent. (oh and FUN :)) Thank you Polished CDA. We appreciate you and will continue to be clients!!

I got my nails done by Stephanie (the owner) for Valentine's Day this year and they turned out so stunning. They do not use plastic tips or the filing machine thing for nails at all, which is great because they can be cheap and damaging, respectively. She's the absolute sweetest. I also got my brows waxed and she did a great job! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Polished was able to fit the 4 of us in last minute and the pedi was fab and included under eye patches and a cooling mask! It’s a dry pedi so keep that in mind in case you’re used to the spa chair ones.

I had a horrible experience at this salon. First of all services are way overpriced for such poor quality. I got acrylics with my sister and as teens we were taken advantage of. The cost of a full set of acrylics is $55 so our total cost should have been $110 excluding a tip (the work and treatment by the staff did not deserve a tip let alone full payment). We ended up paying $154 because the payment was incorrectly entered. They did not give us a receipt or tell us they amount put in for the tip. I know they were aware of the overcharge but didn't say anything about it. We also were treated poorly by the staff who didn't listen to our requests and pressured us into getting our nails done how they wanted. They talked badly about their co-worker and other costumers in front of us and it made us very uncomfortable. What was most upsetting were the racist comments made by the staff. It made me and my sister extremely upset and I'm appalled by the allowance of such behavior by the owner. Overall the nails were awful and very poorly done. They were lumpy, uneven and streaky. Please do not support this business they clearly do not care about their costumers. It is not worth your time or money.

The website and many of these reviews will lead you to believe that this is some sort of “high end” experience. I would hardly call my experience luxurious, neither my pedicure nor manicure included clean up of dead skin or cuticles, and no massage either. Overpriced, overrated. Don’t let the great location in this adorable resort town fool you. Just go to the resort if you actually want a spa experience.

Horrible. I have never had a worse experience. I went to get my nails done before my wedding. I had to go and get both my manicure and pedicure redone. within 1 hour of leaving the salon my gel nails started chipping and cracking. I do not recommend this salon. Plus the owner was awful to her employees.

Just a heads up, since they don't have this information on their website... don't take your child who is 13 to get a full set acrylic nails because one of the girls there said she could lose her license if she did a full set if she's not at least 14yrs old because it would ruin her nail beds... Has anyone else ever heard about this??? It's new to me. Just curious.

Megan is one of the best nail techs I have ever had! I have a crazy work schedule amd she always makes a point to work with getting me in on the fly. She is great at what she does and makes sure im 100% in love before I leave her chair. Knowing how much I need to relax when I come in, she has a neck heat wrap, a blanket, and a drink for me before we get started. The whole salon is filled with wonderful ladies, but I don't know what I would do without my girl Megan.

To start off I love the vibe in Polished! Beautiful salon!! Felt very welcomed, greeted with a glass of wine and smiles! My mani and pedi was so relaxing. Loved the salt scrub and the lotion they have to offer at the end of each service, smelled so wonderful and was warm!!! The entire staff was lovely to visit with, girl talk is always refreshing after a long day. I left the appointment satisfied with my mani-pedi experience, soft and wonderful!!! Also glitter!!! I just moved to CDA and I am SO happy I found Polished! Stephanie fit me in after my nails were destroyed from moving and the experience was so wonderful. The space is posh, clean and comfortable, Stephanie is bubbly and welcoming. I got so much more than I expected with my "Signature Waterless Manicure". The appointment included neck/arm/hand massages, wonderful scrubs and oils and of course a pretty mani. You can tell Stephanie really tries to make your time there special. I would absolutely recommend!

Loved this place the minute I walked in! I was in town for the weekend and wanted to pamper myself with a spa day for myself. I was greeted my Stephanie the owner and she gave me a full tour of what Polished has to offer - mani, pedi, facials, hair , eyelashes, and massage. She sat with me and listened to me about my concerns about getting a facial. She told me step by step what she was doing and what it would do for my skin. The staff was welcoming too. I needed up leaving and buying the products to use at home. I’ll be sure to be back when I visit again. PS I loved my facial - my skin was glowing

Well they don't have swatches which is really inconvenient because you have to stand and look at all the bottles. She didn't take off all my previous gel polish because she said they don't have foils..? They don't have water to soak your feet so they dry scrub then warm towels which the hot water soak is the main part of a pedicure for me. They didn't have a royal blue so I had to settle for a darker blue that i don't like.

I stopped in here while I was waiting for my husbands plane to land at the Spokane airport so I had about 3.5 hours to kill. I got an acrylic nail fill & a pedicure. The girl that did my nails was so sweet & took her time to make sure my nails were perfect & looked exactly how I wanted (I feel bad I can't remember her name :( ) she talked me into trying one of their "waterless" pedicures and it felt so good! My feet are so soft and felt amazing all night! She even stayed later to finish my toes. Not to mention the complimentary wine, delicious! The owner, Stephanie, was working on her clients as well & was so nice & entertaining! I will definitely be going to this salon everytine I come to Idaho to visit family! Highly recommend to anyone!! 10 stars out of 5!! Thanks again ladies!! :)

I made an appointment online for a whitening facial at 11am. I received a call at 10 from the salon saying that the lady had “no idea what that kind of facial is” so they asked if I could switch to the basic. I hesitated, but said that was fine. I arrived to my appointment and waited about 10-15 minutes before someone came up to me and said “Jodi is running behind can you reschedule to 4:30pm” No thanks. I should have known from the first phone call this place was a bad idea. Don’t waste your time.

I was there on June 7 and can’t recall the name of the person who did my pedicure, which by the way, was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had and the most expensive!! I had a shellac pedicure. I actually went back in as my nails on my right foot weren’t shiny and were rough. I had another coat of shine added that was a slight improvement. All the right nails were lighter in colour than the left (you could see through the colour) even though two coats were done. A shellac pedicure should be solid, shiny and smooth. Terrible. She was the last of the staff working that day and then headed to the bar next door with co-workers. We were only in town for a short time as we are RVers passing through, otherwise I would have insisted a re-do. Lots of the reviews are great but my experience was horrible!!

I had a great experience at this salon for a friends bachelorette party, it was well kept and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, I was not pleased with the finished product. The gel polish I got was chipping and peeling not even a few days after. My manicure was simply painting my nails, cuticles were not done and I got a little lotion applied after and that was it. I know some of the other girls in our group had great nail techs and great finished products, but I did not. A good experience but the service I payed for was subpar.

Steph is an amazing lady inside and out! My mom and I went to get our nails and toes done and she fit us in on the same day. The entire experience was amazing. She truly cares about every step of every process and truly cares about her client. My mom and I throughly enjoyed ourselves. She also said she could fix my acne prone skin and I just had my first facial today and it was amazing. I can't even begin to describe the experience but it was beyond anything I expected. She and Ashley have been there both times I've gone in and they are always asking me if I need anything and making sure I'm comfortable. Best spa I've been too!

After reading some glowing reviews about this salon, I booked an appointment online several weeks in advance. Unfortunately, my experience was abysmal. I felt utterly unwelcome: my nail tech accused me of being 30 minutes late for an appointment that I arrived five minutes early to, she answered texts and personal calls during my appointment, and spent most of the time conversing with her coworkers. These employees made disparaging comments about other customers, including one who I think may have had a disability. Overall, there was such a lack of professionalism and customer service that I cannot recommend this salon to anyone who values such things. At least the decor was cute?

The women that work here are amazing!! Welcoming each guest with open arms and bringing them the best services. The pedicures are waterless and based off a facial, you receive your choice of a beverage, a warm neck pillow, and an eye pillow. Complete relaxation!

Love going to Polished!! Steph is so great! makes sure your relaxed and enjoy yourself while you are there. Love how she does her acrylics, she doesn't use preformed tips which never fit right. She does tips by hand. I've never had a problem with them lifting or cracking like I have with other nails and they always turn out gorgeous wether you do pink and white or choose color. Taking my mother in law in for a pedicure for her birthday and can't wait! Thank you Polished!!!
