Great calm and peaceful interior. I got a 90 min lomilomi and Corey (my masseur) managed to hit all the problem spots and even some I didn't know were sore. Price is good, and more then worth it. Definitely going to try a facial next time.

I called Honu You to arrange a Mother's Day treat for the women in my group and they were very helpful in working around the logistics of our trip. I also took them up on their services and my experience was amazing. The massage style was Lomilomi (traditional Hawaiian) and the therapist was very attentive. The esthetician had 19 years of experience and it showed--the treatment was very thorough and tailored specifically to my skin. Everyone else in our party had a great experience, too.

I would recommend this place to anyone, even those who are shy or nervous. The moment you walk in the people are kind, professional, and make you feel comfortable. The services they offer are broad and encompass all that you may want from a spa. The quality of service is top notch. My own personal experience with the Lomi Lomi was by far the best I have ever had thanks to Tiare. She's the best. I literally walked out of the massage and into the office of someone I wanted to work for, just to shoot the breeze. Out of nowhere the owner of the business straight up offered me a very prestigious job! After I just walked in from the street? It had to have been the state of mind I was in. This could only have been achieved by intense relaxation. Enough said. Obviously I'm a guy, and not the sensitive or "prissy" type whatsoever, and I really like this place. If you are a guy and you think spas are for ladies only, think again, or at least give this place a try. It might change your life.

I don't write reviews, but I'm doing one here to warn, don't be a minute late! I can't stand being late & understand how it can/will iterupt things, but I felt like I was spoke to as if I were an inconvenience. Could benefit from a little warmth! Here's my bit, recently moved to Hawaii. Was pumped to find a gem (per reviews) were I live, but I didn't get the service I'd scheduled as I was 5 minutes late. I knew parking wouldn't come easy, but didn't know just how crazy it'd be. Additionally I wasn't ready to pay a meter to park, and felt happy when I found 4 quarters floating at the bottom of my purse. When I'm finally inside the spa (using walk to gps since I don't know where I am), hoping I'm not too late & that I'm still able to get a quick cleanup on my desperate brows. Also hoping to get guided towards some good products, I'm told "we had you booked @ 10:30, did you not get our confirmation email? It explains the parking". No, I sure did not see my confirmation email. Many people check their email daily, I used to be one of them, but now I'm a full time mama to 3 littles & email goes by the wayside most times! Maybe I'd have peaked at my email had we not been driving daddy to the airport yesterday to leave town, but likely not. I'm so glad I used my bit of childcare time for this experience! Originally I did call, but instead of getting to talk to an individual I was guided to the spa app to book my appointment. All good, one knows when their business is not needed! #stayhungry

2 stars are for the wax job ! That was amazing and I would have gone back each month for years to come . The owner did a fantasist job . However the front desk/ phone customer service is terrible . Needed to cancel my monthly FU apt due to a cold and asked for an apt a couple of days later (3 days ) now they wanted charge me the full waxing price (double ) and not the FU price ... no discussions ! Also the FU price as discussed with front desk before my first waxing apt now was raised to a much higher price ! Front desk person told me she she texted me the wrong price . Asked for the owner to call . She never did .

They also have a great selection of products. Jen, who is the owner, and has been in the spa business for a long time can make great suggestions if you have trouble skin like me.

The Lomi Lomi Massage is amazing!!! I was on vacation and booked a massage here. Soooo happy I did! Pauahi Kinimaka is extremely talented and gave me the best massage I've ever had. I am so thankful that I found Honu You Spa. My experience has been amazing! I have such a busy schedule and to find a place that is so accommodating is a true gift! I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Everyone there is so friendly and truly makes the experience enjoyable! I originally made an appointment for an eyebrow wax because the last place I went did such a bad job, I needed immediate help! They made an appointment as an "emergency" and fixed me up right away! I now go on a regular basis because its the best my eyebrows have ever looked! Now I just made my first appointment for a facial and I cant wait!!!! If you have never been to Honu you, I highly recommend it.

This is the place for clean, professional services - I can go in for a wax/lomi lomi/facial and come out feeling perfect. My crazy eyebrows look totally normal when I have them regularly shaped here, such a high point in my book. This is one of those gems - Kailua Owned and Operated but high-end quality that is often missing at local "Salon & Spa" places. I recommend this place to all my friends, I just hope I won't loose my regular spot :)

I recently got the “Honu You Intro Package with Wow Brow” with Jennifer - a massage, facial, and eye brow waxing. I just loved, loved, loved it!!! The massage was exactly what I needed and took care of the aches and tense muscles in my back, neck, and arms (from carrying my precious little ones)! Jennifer did, as always, an awesome job with shaping my brows and her waxing technique is painless. And the facial that came with the package rejuvenated my skin! Honu You is a gem!!! I look forward to getting treatments from Jennifer and staff, and always leave feeling refreshed and ready to resume life! I showed up at Honu You eight years ago and have done numerous treatments over the years. Jennifer’s knowledge, experience, and care for her clients shine through each time. Jennifer’s business model is also great as: I can conveniently book treatments on-line through her website and get reminders via text or email; she has an array of quality products, including make-up; there is a no tipping policy (which I wish everyone would follow); they’ll fill your parking meter up with their stash of quarters if needed; and she and her staff never pressure to book the next appointment and never push products. Jennifer and her staff create an experience that is all about caring for the client! The excellence of Jennifer’s work and quality face and skin products will keep you a repeat client like me. I’m always so glad I chose to spend “me time” at Honu You, and never found anywhere else with the same caliber and value! I even like to park in the public parking garage that is accessible via Aulike Street since I can fill the meter for up to 4 hours and get long, well-deserved treatments! Can't wait for my next visit!
