I use to go to one particular masseur at this location but he was not available & I needed someone badly! That's how I was introduced to Shannon, the deep tissue goddess, & I will NOT go back to my old masseur (unless Shannon isn't available). I swear this is the deepest deep tissue I've EVER had, & I know I'm going to feel it later, but MAN was it fantastic!! Shannon dug so deep in my glutes that she found muscles I didn't know I had. Painful but necessary & I feel fantastic! The only complaint is the massage started about late so I didn't get my full time. Other than that, Shannon is phenomenal & I will see her soon.

Cliff is my favorite massage therapist. I literally keep my membership because he takes such great care of me. He never cheats my time and never makes me feel like just another number. This location is friendly as always. Very clean and honestly a bit nondescript. They offer hot and cold water, mints, and hot tea while you wait in the relaxation room. The massages are only 55 minutes but if you get a massage therapist that honors your time, it will be just what you need.

Horrible front desk staff! I booked an appointment with my regular therapist of 7 months. I arrive 5 mins early only to find out that my appointment had not been scheduled properly! They tried to offer me some random therapist since they messed up. Nobody really seemed to care about the fact that I fought traffic driving to massage envy and wasted my precious time because of their "booking error". I try to cancel my membership because of their incompetence and they basically tell me i have to jump through hoops, quack like a duck and stand on my head in order to cancel my membership! A total scam!!! And an incredibly incompetent staff with ZERO customer service skills!! Don't waste your time or money!! ***Update: I received a very quick response from the manager. She apologized for the mix-up and compensated me fairly for my inconvenience. I was impressed by the swift response and I believe my issue was handled appropriately. As a result, I have decided to remain a member of Massage Envy.

My massage appointment with John was pretty awful. I'd be surprised if he has repeat clients. I'm posting this as a warning for others...especially women. He is rough and fast. Also, lacking in customer service because not once did he check in with me to see how I was doing or how the pressure was. It was awful. I could've complained to the front desk, and they probably would've not charged me. But that's not what I want. I want to warn others, especially women, so they don't have this experience.

*** Update, I visited this location a second time today. Had a better experience in both the scheduling and the service. It appears that they have made some staffing changes to the benefit of the front desk experience. My therapist Dimitri tailored the massage to my requests and was well trained.*** This location is awful. Showed up for a 10am couples massage which had been made the Tuesday before. When we got to the location the front desk staff had a really snotty attitude that my appointment was made for June 25th over a month in advance. When I informed them that there must have been a mistake, the front desk staff replied "nope, that's the date it is and there are no couples appointments." When originally booking the appointment, I confirmed with the lady twice that it was for THIS SUNDAY - to make it even better there was someone riding in the car to confirm what was said. We were at the location, spent our time and gas to get there to basically be told that there was nothing that they could do other than to put us in for back to back appointments later in the day. When she was told that wouldn't work she would only give points to our account. This is not the first issue with this location, they have refused appointments because "they did not realize that we were members" after they had been told blatantly at the start of the conversation. When we pay money ahead of time, there is the expectation that the services will be paid as agreed to by the company (Massage Envy). Additionally, there have been several times where the clinic has not honored preferences stated as terms of the appointments - such as requested genders of therapist, couples rooms, etc. I encourage you to spend your money elsewhere.

I enjoy the massages and love the facials, my only complaint is they called me an hour before my scheduled appointment and informed me that the massage therapist wasn’t available and asked me if I would be willing to do a facial instead; I said yes because it was a couples massage and didn’t want him inconvenienced because he needed the massage as did I; the facial was great but I was in need of a massage, to me they should have offered a discount on the facial or discount on a makeup massage for customer inconvenience

I had a facial at this Massage Envy for the first time. The place was clean, very calm environment. It felt spa like but my facial SUCKED! The esthetician asked me what I was looking for in terms of services but then did not do it. I specifically asked for extractions because I haven't had a facial in 6 to 8 months. She may have spent two minutes doing a few extractions on my nose and spent more than 20 minutes doing a peel that I didn't ask for. Now all the gunk in my pores is even more obvious because she stripped off a few layers of dead skin cell but left my pores dirty. She was pleasant and seemed experienced. She probably could have done a great job had she done what I asked. Why bother asking me what I want and then don't do it. Anywho...I'll just have to go back to Bliss for my facials. Perhaps Massage Envy needs to stick to massage.

I was just contacted a day prior to my appt by the receptionist cancelling my appt due to not having working ac. This is the 2nd time my appt has been cancelled. The young lady didn't even bother to offer me another appt time. Terrible...I will never return to the Stockbridge location ever!!!!!

I was scheduled for an appointment today at 11. I was there at 10:45 filled out paperwork went back into the relaxation room and waited another 35 minutes before anyone figured out that they had screwed up. Apparently my therapist called out of work and nobody informs me. The young lady who is the receptionist at the front desk completely blamed it on me because she had our names mixed up and insisted that someone called me and left a voice message which nobody called me that day. These people are very unprofessional and when I asked if there's something they could do for me today they said it would be 7 p.m. before anyone could see me and that they will not comp my massage only give me points for an upgrade on my next massage. When I went back to ask for a supervisor she did not want to give me her telephone number until I insisted. What a waste of time and lack of professionalism. Would not go back if they paid me.

These people kept me on hold for five minutes and five seconds this morning. I eventually hung up and called back and all of a sudden they are free. I only called to confirm the time of my appointment on Monday. I was not satisfied with the excuse the receptionist gave me. She said she was the only one at the desk and checking people out. Had she just said she forgot about me and apologized, I would not be posting this review. And even if that was true, no one wants to be on hold for five minutes and five seconds!!! Tell me to call back in five minutes Edit: She told me my appointment was at 4:00. The email confirmation I was just sent says 7:30. I will call now to verify.

I went to see her she was frustrated and dance around on excuses. Manager danced around with same excuses as well as district manager. Don’t waste ur money as I unfortunately did.

My first visit 2 years ago was amazing. My 2nd visit was not as good; due to the manager placing me in an awkward position after I shared information with me of feeling uncomfortable before my services were rendered to me. However, my service ended up being good. Last year I had a reserve for a couples spa for my fiancé and they called 2 hours prior to our appointment to let me know that they have to cancel/close for the day; due to their AC not working. I asked if I could go to another location; I was told no. I was so disappointed. Now, I’m giving them another chance to visit them again and at that surprising him..so, he won’t be disappointed as I was last year. I am keeping my fingers cross. Many thanks to April, giving me the assurance that I will not be disappointed this time.. count down begins

My wife and I have been a member at this location since 2013. Its almost impossible to get a massage 2 weeks out. Numerous appointments have been cancelled day of even after the fact that they were made a month in advance. If you try and get an explanation you get the same response, "I cant make the therapist show up for work" Tried several times to speak with manager and again same response each time "they are in a meeting and will call you back" I will however say that if you can actually get back to a room with a therapist they do a good job.

Great price for a quality massage. Also as a client you must ask for what you want. Tell you massage therapist how you like to be massaged. This way you have a good experience.

This Stockbridge Location is not one I will visit anymore, my 1st appt the cancelled a day before cuz the girl went home sick, the 2nd appt, I get there 8 min late cuz I had stopped to get money for a tip for the person & I'm checked in & sitting in the relaxing room waiting, after 15 min I ask how long do I have to wait, I'm told that person left, I was asked if I was late, I said 10min even tho it was 8, the girl told me she had left, so guess I had to be there at the exact time cuz she obviously didn't wait no time, I think she never showed up & that was the excuse they used, but why not know all that bfor checking me in and going thru all that, BAD Business

Not nearly as satisfying as I would have liked. 1. Prior to start of massage I was asked which areas I would like more focus on. I provided 3 areas but did not feel special attention was paid to any one of the areas. 2. Although requested on information sheet that was filled out prior to massage I did not receive any massage, at all, to my scalp. 3. While therapist seemed nice enough she was way too light handed for my pleasure. Just not too satisfied at all. Before I left I spoke to the young lady at the front desk & also to who I believed to be the manager and explained my dissatisfaction only to be told which massage therapist to use the next time that I come back. REALLY.

So, Normally I wouldn’t ever visit Massage Envy, because of their lack of professionalism . However I was gifted a trip, and I was scheduled for 3pm, and like clockwork I’m sitting here in the waiting area, waiting for an hour Massage. I wouldn’t Ever recommend anyone to come to a massage envy.. My time is valuable, and if I were the one late, they would’ve been ready to reschedule!!! Uuggh!

It is absolutely the hardest thing to get appointments - I'm a member and to get two appointments late in the day during the week or early in morning on the weekends is impossible. it doesn't matter when I call it can be that day or weeks out - Its so frustrating, it makes you not want to even go.

Also, I received a call to change my appointment time cause my massage therapist was behind, promised a free upgrade because of the delay however when I arrive and asked for my upgrade it was declined.

Massage Envy is great! I went there for the first time today, for a one hour massage, due to a muscle spasm in my lower back. I had Abigail, who is a doll, and who did a terrific job on my massage. I get massages and/or facials every year when I go on a cruise, and what I get on those are great, but this was even better. The cubicles are more utilitarian than on cruise ships, and there aren't any scented candles or scented lotions used, but still, for such a nice, thorough job, the price cannot be beaten! My back felt great after I left. Abigail also told me to get more potassium in my diet, to help prevent future spasms, as well as use a more supportive pillow when I am at the computer. I will definitely be going back!

I bought a gift card for my girlfriend. You get a great deal on the first appointment. The atmosphere was very clean and calming. The staff offered a relaxing room to wait while she was getting her message but I had shopping to do. She was nervous because it was her first massage but she said the masseuse was very nice. She asked what level to push on each area and played calming music. After she finished she gave her some water and told her to make sure she stayed hydrated as she would have toxics making their way out of her body. She thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back.

Have been once before and wasn’t impressed with the massage, but received a gift card from my sister for my birthday so I thought I’d try them again. Ended up with an amazing masseuse named David who had me ready to be a regular customer. Upon checking out however, I was told that there was no money on the $75 gift card. Knowing that was b.s., I spent an hour going back and forth with her (wish I’d gotten her name). Finally, someone who I guess was the manager (no name tags or introductions) walked up, typed in the number and it came right up. The girl I had been dealing with lied and said I had given her a different number. Either she wasn’t trained properly to handle the front by herself, or there is some serious gift card fraud going on at this location!! Now my massage was reversed, and instead of being a regular customer, I’ll never be back. Hope David got his tip from the remainder of the gift card, because I never saw them pull out any money for him, put it into the envelope and seal it. Beware!!!!

I have been a member since 2012 which means nothing to the management team. I was charged four times for my monthly payments. No one can tell me why my account is being over charged. No one has corporate number . Massage envy has charged my account over $120.0 extra. I talked to the manager she stated she can't tell from her end why they would take money for payments that's not due. It's sad that a company so big can just take your money and have no one you can talk to so that you can resolve the issue. I have 28hrs that keep accumulating because if you want to cancel your membership you can't keep the hours that you already paid for. I can't stop my payments from coming out my account because they would cancel my membership which means I lose all the hours I paid for.

YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF GETTING A MASSAGE IN THE MIDDLE OF CHUCKY CHZ!! In the middle of my session, we heard high pitched screaming by children next door that lasted for 15 minutes straight. Apparently, they are located next to a family/ children dental office and the kids next door are NOT happy to be at the dentist. The therapist did his best to make jokes and lighten the mood, but I immediately felt my body tense back up. The staff and my therapist were very nice, as it was not their fault. However, management was completely nonresponsive (which is why I am writing this review). DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO RELAX!!!... and do not look for management to respond, as I am still waiting for my phone call.

I had an appt with this location (Stockbridge, Ga) for this morning - the reason why I was going was because I have been experiencing a headache for 3 consecutive weeks so I thought a massage would help the tension I’m experiencing. This morning I called the doctor to see if I could get a sick appt for same day and they ONLY had one time today and one time on Wednesday - the time today was at the same time the massage was. I contacted the location to reschedule my appt and explained my situation and how I need to be seen (doctor) and the receptionist did not care and told me they were still going to charge my card. This company has no sympathy for their consumers and it shows through their lack of compassion. I decided I did not want to reschedule after having a conversation with the receptionist because I am not doing business with any company who lack mannerism.
