Massage was great. But, I will NOT go back. After having a good massage experience, it was ruined with a sales pitch when I went to pay. It took 10+ minutes to pay. They just kept trying to sell me. I felt like I was at a car dealership. I went from feeling good, to stressed and frustrated with the sales pitch. Not going back.

Every time I get a massage I feel great. It really helps me deal with my stressful job. Anyway, I thought I would write a positive review since these guys take great care of me. It blows me away when someone tells me they pay $90 for an hour, when I get one for $59. If you need a great quality massage for a reasonable price, this is a no-brainer.

Absolutely terrible experience, one of the front desk women ( chandler I think) was absolutely rude towards me in front of other customers. I felt that I had done something wrong when I did nothing wrong. I will not return to this massage envy just because of this terrible experience from that woman.

I wouldn't say I left relaxed or even felt better then when I went in. I'm assuming the girl was fresh out of school bc the massage was very "by the book". I asked for medium pressure but it's was light at best. The lady stay seated the majority of the massage wheeling around in her chair. I'm happy I only paid the "introductory" price of $50. I'd be real ticked if it was $90. Save your money and go to the Asian mean in front of JCPenny at the Mall of Georgia.

Massage Envy Mall of GA is terrible! Therapist was great, but front desk were rude, not helpful & ruined the entire experience for my friend . I had given my friend one of my monthly massages as a way to relax. The front desk handled the entire checkout inappropriately. I have left 2 messages for the store manager. She has never returned my calls. When you call, rarely does anyone answer the phone live. I could go on and on with the bad service provided, but suffice to say there are much better places to go for a more positive outcome.

This is an excellent Massage Envy! I’ve been going here for about three years. They’ve had their ups and downs with front staff and massage therapists alike. It’s difficult to find good employees in any business. Throughout all of my years here if I’ve had a complaint, the management has taken it seriously and addressed the problem professionally. I haven’t loved all of the massages I’ve had here but definitely the majority of them have been excellent. It takes good communication skills to ask for what you want from a therapist. Be specific throughout the massage so they can adapt to your preferences. Tell them if you prefer quiet over talking, brighter or darker lighting, more or less pressure. They are not mind-readers and most of them want you to be happy with your massage. They want you to come back and request them again. Sometimes a therapist is just not very skilled but if enough people complain about a specific therapist to the management, they probably won’t be working there for long. Ask the front staff for the best therapist they have for your specific needs and they will help you choose one. Also, look at reviews on Yelp and Google for the most recommended therapists at your preferred location. I enjoy a deep tissue massage and particularly like Leon, Anthony and Kareema. I use the Massage Envy App every time to schedule my appointments and there has been no problem with my scheduling since. The front staff at the current time are very friendly and professional. As you know, people change jobs all the time and as I’ve said, it’s difficult to find excellent employees. I would suggest if you’re unhappy, voice your complaints directly to the location management first and only if the issue isn’t resolved would I put a negative review for them. This allows them to correct the problem and allows others to judge for themselves if this is the right place to get their massage. Massage Envy is seriously one of the least expensive places to get a massage regularly without spending tons of money. I’ve had massages I’ve spent up to $200 an hour on and a few select therapists at this location are good enough to work in the those spas. Lastly, these therapists get a portion of your massage cost. I’m not sure how much it is but since it’s a corporation, I’ll bet it isn’t a huge part of it. No offense to Massage Envy; it’s just business. So, if you have an excellent massage, tip them excellently and give them a good review. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say I tip 15-20% of the total cost of my massage. I've been getting massages and facials here for a few years and have always been treated well. The front staff are always friendly and the one time I had a negative experience with a massage therapist, the manager listened to my concerns, agreed to address the issue and gave me a free massage. Other than 1 negative experience, I have greatly enjoyed all services at this location. Facials with Rochelle are always spectacular and I never leave without a smile on my fresh face. She's a joy to spend time with! I've been seeing Kareemah for my massages for over 6 months now and I cannot say enough good things about her. I stand 12 hours a day for my job and it takes a toll on my body. I never get the same massage because she always listens to my concerns and works out the areas that need the most attention. She is a true professional who is constantly telling me about her latest training and is always willing to do what is best for her clients. If you want to have a truly custom-tailored massage from a wonderful therapist, go see my friend Kareemah. She's the best!

The SCAM is their contracts. DO NOT BUY INTO THERE HYPE YOU WILL REGRET IT, THE CONTRACT NEVER EXPIRES. This place is about money. They do not listen to your needs, these people are not professionals. You will only get 40 minutes on an 1 hour massage. The setups at the mall will give you a much better massage for the money.

My first and last visit to this place was an experience I will never forget. The massage therapist I had came into my room drinking a soda. It was some soda from a fast food place. I was laying face down on the bed and the room was cold. She put her hands on me and her hands were cold from her soda and then she took the oil and put that on me and it was even colder. In the middle of her massaging me she was picking up her Coke from time to time to drink it while she was massaging me massaging me. Usually most massage therapist dim the lights but she didn't feel that was necessary. It was the worst massage I've ever had and I was even disgusted that I had to pay for it.!!

I bought a gift card for my dad for Christmas 2017. He goes to Massage Envy every two weeks and gets a two hour massage. Great gift, right??? Nope. When he went to use the gift card, he was told that there was only $.01 available on the card and that a man in FLORIDA had used it. We live in Georgia. They are not even willing to honor the gift receipt that I attached to the gift card. He’s going to fight with them. But this isn’t the first time I’ve heard stories like this. This company is ridiculous. I hear stories like this all the time. I only went there because dad has never had any issues and he goes so frequently that I thought it would be a nice gift for him. I’ll never given them another penny. They basically stole $50 from me because the gift card they gave me was not properly loaded and they refuse to make it right.

We have been members for years, over the last several months it has become impossible to get an appointment. I can’t always plan 3-4 weeks in advance. I called earlier this week for an appointment Saturday, we just showed up and their “new” employee had scheduled for 2 weeks later. They did offer a 30 minute session for our trouble, which really doesn’t help if you can’t get an appointment. We plan to cancel our membership. The Dacula location is even worse, in addition to no appointments, they also don’t answer their phone.

These people have terrible communication issues. Was here earlier with my fiancé after having come with him multiple times and only paying a $10 transfer fee on his membership to have a couples massage and ended up having to pay $50. Their guidelines on the contract are very specific and we were blamed for someone's lack of checking his account and telling him we could only do this once every 6 months. Not to mention, someone said we could lower the fee with buying a membership and canceling within 3 days... which was also false. They are more concerned with sucking in customers rather than keeping their faithful ones. Their masseuses are all great though.

As a "member" of monthly massages, I can tell you that there are different methods to massage. I have had amazing therapists and then some I questioned. But the end result is what matters, right?! It's a great place to go and allow the therapists to do their jobs and wisk you away into letting things go....worries, anxiety, tension or just being there to relax! They've also turned me onto cucumber water! And a one hour massage consists of 50 min. 5 to undress and 5 to redress. This is ANYWHERE you go.

Overall poor experience. The front desk staff was friendly, however they were trying to sell me on purchasing their membership for about 15 minutes before my massage even began. My therapist seemed like she didn’t want to be there and barely made conversation with me which is awkward when they are about to be rubbing all over your body. She did ask me about my pressure preference and I informed her that I have only ever had deep tissue massages so I preferred firm pressure. The massage was light pressure at best and I felt like someone was just rubbing my body down with oil/lotion the entire time. The technique seemed poor and was unlike any other massage I’ve experienced. I would not recommend my therapist and I do not plan on returning.

Great experience very relaxing! Front desk is a little too pushy with trying to get u to sign a contract with them. Also two days after I experience dry patches on face so I don't think I'll return for a facial again maybe not a good idea for African American skin.

I called to make an appointment for a gift card that was given to me. Upon answering the phone, Patrick informed me that I needed a credit card to hold my appt reservation. He was not friendly by any means and super rude. I was not able to make an appt. Needless to say he gave me some corporate number, which was not the number on their website. I will be calling corporate to complain and get a refund for my gift card as well. The reviews that you read are true! Their customer service is more than horrible and Patrick was apparently the manager! DO NOT GO HERE!
