My husband and I came for a couples massage for our anniversary. I will start off by saying we chose places for massages based on the extras such as steam rooms, sanctuary areas etc which is why the Westin seemed perfect. The positives: The staff were very kind, welcoming, and attentive. It was easy to make a reservation and we were greeted warmly by the front staff. Thats really the only positive thing. The locker rooms were fine although there were empty glasses around and used robes around despite seeing numerous service staff in the changing room. The toilets themselves were clean but there were overflowing sanitary bins with used pads sticking out. The showers had clumps of hair in the drains. There was a dirty towel that remained the entire three hours we were there in one of the showers. The extras: the women’s steam room had an odd buttered popcorn smell. The steam was entirely too hot to the point I had to leave after a very short time. It felt like my skin was about to burn off. We have been to numerous steam rooms and I have never experienced such intense heat. I told my husband this and he laughed saying that he loves the very hot steam. However shortly after he entered, he returned stating he noticed the same issue. His steam room was also filled with empty cups and used towels. It was very disappointing as this is something both of us truly enjoy at a spa. The massages were simply mediocre at best. I could hear my husbands masseuse breathing most of the time. He described his massage as “comical”. My masseuse must have had a cold as she kept coughing and sneezing. There were long periods were my masseuse would walk away from the massage table. It probably totaled in about 10 minutes of me lying there with nothing going on. It just seemed like both lacked a basic understanding of anatomy. At one point she grabbed the skin down the entirety of my back, pinching it the entire way down. She pulled on my ears roughly as well. These are just things I’ve never really experienced during a massage and it was incredibly unpleasant. Again, everyone was absolutely lovely and pleasant. But this was far below what I would expect from Westin and for sure one of my least favorite massages. I would not recommend coming here for your massage needs.

Very nice staff. I really enjoyed myself. I had a mud bath and a shower. After that they let me stay and eat lunch there. I love how generous they were to me. I highly recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing place. Everything is clean their bathrooms and showers included.
