This is my first time buying a hot tub, and initially I searched Craig's List because I wanted to find a great deal. SOOO glad I went to BYFS instead! i had no idea how complicated it is to transport and hook up a hot tub. John helped me to find a pre-owned tub that fit my budget but is still a good quality item that I'll be able to enjoy for years. Bob brought the tub all the way over to Cecil County MD and went to a lot of trouble to help us get the tub onto our deck (involved taking out a wall and lifting the tub on a crane). When we hooked it up a day later, there was a minor issue, and Bob came out once again to resolve it for us. Thank God I did not go to Craig's List...I could never have managed this purchase without the expertise of John and Bob!

The showroom had a very large number of hot tubs on display, which was helpful in deciding on a tub. The delivery and setup was the best part of my dealings with the Back Yard Fun Store. Can't say enough great things about my experience purchasing a spa from The Backyard Fun Store. Bob, the owner, personally replied to my initial contact email over a holiday weekend. He was very easy to deal with, gave us a good fair price and made the entire transaction very easy for us. The delivery was right on time and was flawless. They own an awesome hot tub crane which made the delivery fast and easy - every other dealer we had spoken with was charging extra for a crane delivery since they would have to rent (or hire) one. I also ordered some extra parts, chemicals, etc. and everything came exactly as we had ordered it. We've had the spa for a couple weeks now and are really enjoying it. Bob's fantastic level of service has continued well beyond the transaction and he continues to impress me with how responsive he is to my questions, which also contributed to my decision to do a Google review (which is something I usually don't do). I highly recommend The Backyard Fun Store!

I put a deposit on a metal building. Prior to having the shed manufactured, I contacted the shed company and canceled the order because I was not able to get a permit. I went back to the Back Yard Fun Store and was told that would not give me a refund, I was told I should have read the fine print on the contract that stays no refunds. I t would have been nice if I was told that up front, I would not have signed the contract. By the way, the print is so small I can't even read it.

The Owner Bob assisted us in picking out just the right hot tub to meet our needs and made sure it would fit in our deck area where the old one was removed. He then delivered the new hot tub and removed the old one free of charge. He brought two strong workers and all the right equipment with him to make the job look easy. I purchased my Bullfrog spa from Bob at the Backyard Fun Store, and it was a very pleasant experience. No pressure or hard sell. Bob is a real expert on hot tubs and was able to answer all the questions I had. By the time I visited his store I had already been to several other spa dealers, and had done some online research. Bob has very competitive prices, and there is no sales tax in Delaware, so that saved me a few hundred bucks. Bob also helped me line up an electrician to do the hook up for a lot less that my local electricians were quoting. Delivery was easy and professional. I highly recommend Bob at the Backyard Fun Store.

BEWARE. After I bought a shed from Bob I immediately noticed uneveness in the floor boards, spacing in boards and worse, the boards sank when stepped on. I discovered Bob to be too busy to inspect or address my concerns. He even suggested how I could repair these issues at my own expense. After 50 days of false promises I walked in his store and he told me he forgot!!!! He did eventually come by when he knew I was at work and lifted and levelled the shed but I am stuck with the spaced boards (such that you can see the earth beneath) and sponge like floor boards. I will replace the floor at my own cost. To truly regret dealing with this company

Upon delivery and unwrapping from original manufacturer's packaging, there was a chip in the acrylic shell. I didn't even notice it, but Bob does honest business, and immediately showed this imperfection to me. I am on my second tub from them, the service they provide is amazing. They go above and beyond every time. When my first tub broke down they walked me through diagnosing and repairing the problem over the phone at no charge. When it finally died a few years later I did not hesitate to go to them for a new one. A few months later one of my jets seem to be failing, one call and Bob came to the house and stood by his product and replaced the jet no questions asked and again for no charge. They give great service, great advice, and they stand by their work and products. I will be a customer for a long time.

Bob helped us find a fabulous in line swimming pool with attached hot tub. The DT-21 by Tidalfit. We are having so much fun with this thing it’s insane. Everyone in the family can work out in the pool whilst I watch them in the hot tub :) Bob is also on target and very quick with any little problems that came up with the product. Shopped to replace a 15YO Coleman/MAXX - wanted a smaller unit that used less electricity but which would serve as reliably as the old one. We settled on Bullfrog as the leading candidate based upon online research and visited Bob at the store. Ordering was easy - no pressure - and delivery was simple (even accounting for bad weather). The tub had an electrical issue at delivery - Bob was out the day after we had done the wiring and replaced the problematic components. Quick response by the store and great feedback from a rep at Bullfrog as well.

John was easy to talk with, and even made sure he worked with our schedule, instead of the other way around. We bought our Hot Tub a few months ago. What a pleasure it has been dealing with Bob. We purchased a pre-owned hot tub. We could not be happier. It was delivered on time and without issue. It came with a 90 day warranty. The hot tub is in fantastic shape, the cover and steps are in a really good shape. The thing that meant the most to us was that Bob included a railing for us. My dad is 73 and we needed that to make sure he can get in and out without falling. It has really helped him feel secure getting in and out. What really impressed me is that John didn't "push" bigger or more expensive models, he carefully listened to what we had to say about our location, our budget, etc and recommended a spa that is just right for us .... a great quality spa that fit our small yard perfectly and also matched our budget. I was worried that installation would be a challenge since we live in a town where neighbors are close by .... but Bob did a masterful job using a trailer mounted crane to perfectly place our tub without messing up the yard or causing concern for our neighbors. I stopped in looking for some information about new hot tubs the staff was great very knowledgeable with there products, no pressure to make a purchase. Later when we made our decision on a new hot tub the process couldn’t have been easier, we received an estimated date when it would be ready , then a phone call the day they received the new tub from the factory, and an immediate delivery date so they could get it to us as soon as possible. On the delivery date the crew arrived exactly when the said with professional equipment they carefully brought the new tub into our back yard removed our old tub ,installed the new tub set it up explained the new tub in detail,. A great company to work with. We would recommend them to anyone for there professionalism, service and price.

They went over and above expectations and even trouble shot some electrical issues that I had an electrician repair (they referred me to an excellent electrician).
