Very clean and modern! I don't go to many spas but this is what I would image a nice spa is like. I was very well taken care of. When I came out of my float I was in this perfect zen like state and didn't want to get back into my car, luckily they had these lounge for after the float with awesome massage chairs I could relax in before I had to get back to the real world. Definitely recommend!

If you want to UNPLUG there is NO better place than the East Coast Float Spa. I own my own business and that means I am never really off the clock. Life has so many demands on all of us and it's hard to find "me" time. The Float spa will totally deliver on that. I like to take a problem in with me to "work on". Since there are no distractions, and no interruptions I can often just float and let my mind go. It's almost always buzzing around the first few minutes and then I drift in and out of "time".... by the end of the session my problem has either been solved or I have a serious direction figured out. I love the massage chairs afterward and I often indulge in the oxygen bar too just to give my brain a hit of good stuff. I have never had a bad experience with staff and the website makes scheduling a time to be in there a breeze.

This place is amazing. Immaculately clean and Laina was absolutely wonderful. It was my first float experience and I was so taken aback by the experience that I immediately signed up for a membership package. Price is very reasonable, especially considering the work that must go in to maintaining the float spas in addition to normal business costs. I highly, highly recommend giving this company a shot. It hasn’t been 24hrs since my first float and I simply cannot wait to go back. I also really appreciate that it’s only an extra $10 to extend a 60 minute session to a 90 minute. What a great place, what great staff and what a great price! Do yourselves, minds and bodies a huge solid and schedule a float at East Coast Float Spa. I can’t imagine regretting the experience.

Floating was one of the best experiences of my life. It was very insightful and peaceful. I was completely in tune with the stream of my thoughts and I was able to think very clearly. I also was able to fall into a deep state of peace and relaxation unlike anything I have experienced before. I was thinking much more creatively and visually, and those effects have lasted for days following my float. I have also noticed that my memory and awareness are sharper than usual since floating. I feel like the experience quite literally activated my entire brain. I have had several creative insights and ideas in the days following my float. I went into the experience feeling very tired, having only slept for a few hours the night before, and I emerged feeling completely rejuvenated. It was very refreshing, both physically and mentally. A great way to unplug, unwind, relax, reflect, and reset. I would recommend floating to everyone. The benefits are too numerous to list, but I will say that it is the ultimate form of "letting go," and it is a very deep and insightful experience for self-reflection. I would do this every day if I could.

Hmm how to describe it. Well it's a spa where u have ur own room with a changing area, a shower and a float chamber. The float chamber is ten inches of Epsom salt water that is so salty that u float effortlessly in, just like people do when u go swim in the Dead Sea. The water temperature and the air temperature are exactly the same as ur body. When u float in the water u feel like gravity doesn't exist, the most comfortable I've ever felt! u wear earplugs and the chamber is sound proof. U can choose whether u want a little blue light on or if u want to turn it off. Here's the thing, if u turn off that light then u have taken away ur sense of sight, hearing and feeling. Unless u touch ur own body u feel like u are nothing. I could hear my heartbeat. It was absolutely amazing, pure solitude and relaxation. If u could feel what it was like for ur body to become a warm liquid this is what it would feel like. I didn't have many thoughts I just relaxed and for a few moments I had some visions of my life and then for awhile I just felt nothing but I wasn't sleeping. I went for an hour, I should've went for longer! Definitely the most unique experience I've ever had. Check it out!

I had an amazing 90 minute float experience here! The staff are knowledgeable, the entire space is very clean and welcoming, and the floating experience is an opportunity I would take again in a heartbeat. My flotation experience at East Coast Float Spa was great! The front desk person was very welcoming and courteous. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The float room is spacious -- you can comfortably step into the room, and when lying in the water you can stretch out however you want. I could relax my neck fully, and the water (containing 1000 pounds of Epsom Salt) supported my head just fine. The water line was above my ears but comfortably below my face. The provided earplugs did their job and kept the water completely out. After getting oriented in the water, I immediately noticed a level of relaxation just from the experience of floating. As I remained still, this level of relaxation deepened further and further. I felt like I was just "there", at the center of a sensory experience whose boundaries seemed to extend indefinitely into space. This was a very calm place to be. I found that I could choose not to fall asleep, and was able to maintain more awareness than usual during the hypnagogic state. I didn't experience any strong ganzfeld effects though, or anything like that. It was easier to maintain awareness on the breath. With the sense of touch quietened, I could hear my breathing in more detail. I flashed back in irony to a few weeks ago, when I was in almost the exact same posture in an MRI machine. I had earplugs on then too, but the last thing I could hear was my breathing! And then too, my head remained still for an extended period of time. But instead of requiring effort and incurring neck tension, it was happening without effort and relieving tension! Whoever invents an MRI flotation room will have lots of happy customers :-) All in all, a genuinely tranquil sojourn whose calming effects carried throughout the day. Highly recommended!

If you have never experienced a salt float, you really should give it a shot. It is the most relaxing experience, even more so than a massage. East Coast Float doesn't use deprivation tanks so the risk of feeling claustraphobic is low. Their facilities are clean and bright and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Even if you do not have a specific ailment and just want an hour without distractions to yourself, a float is worth it! Plus they always have deals going for packages and membership.

East Coast Float Spa is amazing! My boyfriend & I drive an hour to get here each way, but it's definitely worth it! From the moment you walk in you feel more relaxed, and all the employees make you feel very comfortable. My boyfriend and I have been here twice before and both experiences were perfect. Everything is very clean, and the water is the perfect temperature! After your float you can enjoy tea, snacks, the zero gravity massage chairs, or the oxygen bar. All of which are great, especially the massage chairs!! Floating was by far one of the best experiences in my life & we will definitely be back!

What a great experience! Having been to a handful of different float spas across the US, I can honestly say that this location has the best setup out of any of them. Not only is their staff polite, attentive, and helpful (thanks Carolyn and Matt), but the float rooms are amazing as well. The large float rooms are far superior than the constricting pods I have experienced at other float spas. The staff gives a concise and thorough overview on how to have the best experience, and the directions are written on the back of the door just in case you forget something. The facility is immaculately clean, and thoughtfully situated. I will definitely return next time I am in the area. Thanks for the great experience East Coast Float Spa, that float was just what I needed.

Went in for a float session and massage chair session. Also tried out the oxygen bar The float tank was much more relaxing than I thought it would be, and I wasn't sure what it would feel like. Try it for your self, but I felt more relaxed than after most massages I've had, but in a different way. Would definitely go again.

This Float Spa has revolutionized my running recovery! I stopped by after I ran a full marathon, and immediately felt this Float Spa was different from my previous experiences. As soon as I walked through the door I was struck by how spacious, clean, modern and friendly the spa was, and how knowledgeable and friendly the staff was. The Floating experience itself was amazing! I was so relaxed I fell asleep :P I came out of my float blister free (quite a feat after running 26.2 miles) and my legs felt more refreshed than they did prior to my run (not to mention how soft the salt blend made my skin feel)! I will DEFINITELY return for race recovery and general relaxation!

It was a good experience. It was the 1st time I have used one of these spa's. Private relaxing and where great only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was I thought the oxygen bar and chair was included and found out as I was leaving I was changed. They way it was said to me when I arrived had me think it was all part of the spa experience. Other then being clear on change the staff did a great job.

This is definitely something you should experience at least once. The oxygen bar did not do much and was not very relaxing. The float was okay and the anti-gravity massage seemed like something I could get from Planet Fitness. For $140 package I could have used without the other two services
