I have been going to Brandywine Nails for over a year now and Mimi 2 is the best! She does the best dip nails!!! They typically last for 3 to 4 weeks... I would definitely recommend!

Very nice workers in there. Got gel mani done- gel was all over my cuticles and skin, and big see through patches on some nails. Went back 1 day after getting them painted and a very nice lady applied another coat. 4 days later the whole entire thumb gel polish peeled off. Disappointed. Not impressed at all.

The spa is wonderful- Jenny is the best. She is sweet, thorough and really takes her time to be sure you have a great experience. I have referred many friends- all have felt the same.

I went in today for a pedicure & gel manicure. I’ve been coming here since they opened but have taken about a 2 month break because I felt that there was a big inconsistency in nail technicians and service. I always enjoyed coming here but this will be my last time. My visit today cost me $60 as it does every other time and I have already peeled off every nail of my gel manicure. The tech did not cut my toe nails or cuticles on my feet, barely pumice stoned them and it looks like I painted them myself. I then got my manicure and the tech never lotioned my hands, never massaged my hands. He never cleaned up along my nail beds so the bases of my nails were all edgy and pointy, not clean like a normal manicure. I hate confrontation and feel so uncomfortable telling someone how to do their job but the manicure was horrible. I picked them all off because they were horrible. I am so disappointed that I spent $60 on what I do better at home. Going to find somewhere where the techs know what they’re doing.

My favorite place to go. The staff here is so nice and helpful. I wish I lived closer because the staff at salons near me are just not comparable. I always feel welcomed and that I am receiving high quality service.

I got an infection from unsterilized tools used during my pedicure. According to my podiatrist, lucky I didn't get an ingrown toenail as well since they were cut incorrectly. First time I did a walk in for nails anywhere. Live and learn! My experience there, even as I left the place, was 'meh' I work at a day spa in another state and I can tell you from experience the Nail Tech did the minimum. Hope I don't get a nail fungus which takes a little longer to show up! Beware, this sort of injury via pedicure is epidemic apparently.

I went here today for the dip powder. I wanted a French manicure which I’ve had a ton of times other places. I received an American manicure instead, which I noticed after (I’ve never had one before so I had no clue why it didn’t look like my usual French manicure)... I was bleeding by the end on two of my fingers because the technician filed my nails so hard and went onto the skin of my nails. It hurts a LOT now... like a throbbing sensation- basically creating a huge paper cut. Lastly, the technician did not do the polish on my whole nail so, even after about 5 hours, it looks like it’s already growing out. I have a few pictures but I do not think I can add them to this post. After this experience, I will not be back- and it was my first time trying it.

I never write reviews, but felt I should share after reading great reviews and then having a lousy experience... I left here with the worst gel manicure I've had in awhile. Sloppy & splotchy paint job, absolutely no cuticle care, and my nails are all unevenly filed. This place is nice, clean, and spacious, but I do not recommend if you want a quality manicure and attention to detail. I did not feel like anyone cared to provide a good service, only to get you in an out. (I visited on a rainy evening, 2 hours before closing time, it was not busy.)

Absolutely loved the way Mimi did my gel polish. My nails look so natural and not all thick. Love that they wear name tags. Place is beautiful and clean inside. Nice seating area for waiting. Only issue polish didnt last a week without 2 nails chipping.

I liked that they have dip powder (nexgen) here but service was a bit slow, and they forgot to put the base powder on my nails for the Nexgen.

My nail tech did not wear a name tag so I can’t tell you to stay away from her but I had a dreadful experience here. I wanted pink and white gel nails. The tech spent most of the time with her phone to her ear talking. She even stopped working on my nails to dial a few numbers. When she applied the pink gel and told me to put my hand in the UV light it BURNED. She was too busy talking to see my eyes tear up. I should have left right then but I didn’t. It took 2 hours, no offer of water and at the end, no hand massage or lotion. $65. Horrible experience.

If I could do a negative star I would. First impression the place is beautiful! Very open and clean. I had gel on so they sat me down and scrapped the top layer and put on the acetone and aluminum foil. Okay now tell me how I am supposed to get my shoes off and roll my pants up. Very awkward! The water was cold. Then I see that over used file that was used to get the gel off. That file had to have been around for a LONG time and used on many people. Next the person starts to touch my feet with no gloves! yuk! Who does that? Very unsanitary. They argued when I insisted gloves be used. They had to leave and come back with gloves. Probably pulled out of the trash. No conversation except to the other tech next to them. Asked for toes to be filed and yes, here comes that nasty file. I should have then but I don't like confrontation. Then I saw the tech next to me pick up the same file and use it on the person next to me. Oh what I horrible experience. This is the first time I have ever written a review. But this isn't a review this is a WARNING!!! Stay away from this place! Dirty doesn't begin to describe this place.

I have been coming to Brandywine Spa and Nails for 3 consecutive years and have been very happy with the care and attention. I have been to other Main Line Nail locations and have had the same experience. The environment is clean, the staff genuinely cares about their work, and I leave feeling refreshed and pampered. I always ask for Jenny, she is consistent, meticulous, and kind. I have nicknamed her Magic Jenny because she uses her magic and makes me feel great! I’ve read some of the other reviews that are negative and have to say I am shocked and a little confused. I don’t agree with them at all! This is by far, the best and cleanest nail salon in the area.

I went here to get my pink and white gel nails redone. I'd been going to another salon for years but they started getting lazy and doing a lousy job. First off, the salon is clean and bright. The nicedecor and ambiance definitely adds I was amazed at how nice the manicurist did my new nails. The cuticle edge is almost non-existent. After a week of growth, there is still no difference between my natural nails and where the gel starts. She shaped and filed them nicely without hurting me. I'm going back today for a pedicure!

Horrible paint job on my toes. I’m pretty sure my 4 year old could have done better. The technician left nail polish all over my toes. Waste of $30.

Tried to charge me $35 for a gel polish change....no pedi. Just a different color. I believe because they don't get a lot of business they pick and choose who and what they charge. NO ONE charges $35 on anything just to change polish color.

Hit or miss - My daughter and I went in together and I had a wonderful experience, but she did not. My technician was wonderful I got a pedicure and it was a great experience. Highly recommend an organic spa pedicure! My daughter got a manicure and her technician Kelly cut her cuticles and made them bleed and then kept complaining to her about how difficult it was to paint her nails and that it was my daughter's fault somehow that her cuticles were bleeding! So my advice is stay away from Kelly otherwise everyone else in there seemed to do a good job.

Worst manicure I have ever received. The man doing it couldn’t have cared less- completely half-assed the entire thing. Took less than 15 minutes. Didn’t properly file or even out my nails. I got a gel manicure and the top coat is all over my cuticles which he didn’t properly push back. You can see through the polish and after he finished “painting my nails” asked me if I wanted lotion and he didn’t even rub it in. This is not even going to last 3 days- what a waste of $30. Would not recommend going here.

Had my eye brows waxed a few months ago and got a pedicure done this trip. Sam did an excellent job. She took her time and was very detailed. Overall it was a very relaxing experience. I intend to make this my regular nail spot.
