Purchased a deluxe couples massage to surprise my wife with for her birthday. An hour prior to our massage, we experienced blissful relaxation in a steam room, sauna, pool and hot tub with chilled champagne and gourmet chocolates. The perfect combination to transform our minds and bodies from our everyday obligations to the transcending relaxation experience that awaited us with our side by side massages. The two masseuse's we had were VERY experienced!!! An addition of the hot stone therapy sampler vanquished any reminisce of mental and physical recollection. Durring the hour massage, it was easy to melt away within yourself. A sense of blissful purity just overcame your physical presence with the talented strokes. There are not many moments where one can experience true sense of self, peace and a connection to the universe. But with Avenue Apothecary and Spa I can guarantee it's the closest you're going to get!

I had a facial last week with Empress that was wonderful. She was very sweet and knowledgeable, catering to my individual needs. Not only was the facial great but it included a mini massage. She noted that my neck and shoulders were quite tight with stress and offered suggestions for relief. The spa was very clean and serene. The rest of the staff was very courteous. I will be back.

I visited the spa for the first time last month while on vacation in Dewey Beach. My experience was beyond perfect! This place is a literal sanctuary of calm! The staff is warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I had the Raindrop Therapy which was the most amazing spa experience I've ever had. Empress is very skilled and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend her and the entire spa and services. I would return to the Rehoboth/Dewey Beach area again simply to return to the spa!

Avenue Inn, Apothecary and Spa is a must when visiting Rehobeth Beach! The Inn is lovely with friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts, and close proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The Apothecary and Spa offer luxurious and pampering treatments and products!! I highly recommend it!

Majority of the staff was friendly. Place was clean. Gentleman's facial was great. Mani/pedi is where there was an issue. The employee was nice but not very sociable. Also, later that evening I noticed that one of my toes was cut which most likely occurred during the pedi. While I would return I probably would not purchase those services again. They do try to upsell you at every turn which I understand why but I am not a fan of it.

Another great massage! Started with a glass of champagne. Then the blue eucalyptus massage with hot stone add on. It was wonderful! All of the staff were very nice. And the place is impeccably clean as it always is.

For my daughter's 13th birthday I took her and 3 friends for a pedicure and a 15 minute massage. They all play sports so I thought this would refresh them since they are in the middle of the season. They enjoyed it so much! I have never been here before and didn't know what to expect. I left happy and satisfied! The staff was very professional and treated the girls like they were adults walking in. The spa is beautiful and so relaxing. I would recommend them to anyone and would go back for myself!

The best part of Rehoboth Beach is this retreat. If you wander in, consider yourself receiving a sign from the divine to relax and release. Beyond the wonderful bookstore and gift shop, the spa services are top notch. The space is peaceful, welcoming, clean, and relaxing. The massage I enjoyed was one of the best I have ever received -- Definitely add on the aromatherapy option. I left glowing and centered. I couldn't recommend it more!

I visit Avenue Apothecary & Spa whenever I am in Rehoboth Beach. The Apothecary has wonderful products that are difficult to find anywhere else (yes, even on Amazon) and the prices are competitive. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and will try their best to fit me in when I don't have an appointment for spa services. The spa services here are top-notch, especially the massage therapists. Every massage I've had here has been perfect, from the moment I enter the spa until checkout. Massage Therapists are skilled, professional, and caring. I always feel wonderful after any of the massage services. I highly recommend Avenue Apothecary & Spa.

I have been to a lot of spas in DC, New York, and abroad. Avenue Apothecary does everything right. The staff is very friendly and professional. They escort you to the relaxation room and offer you water or tea so you can prepare for your session. They offer a comfy bathrobe for you to change into, if you like. I've had several Eminence facials and all the aestheticians are well trained and have attention to detail. I've had several massages as well, and have always left happy and relaxed. The shop is chock full of great products - some of them hard to find. Another plus: They don't give a hard sell on the products. I've treated my friends here, and they have enjoyed it as well. Can't wait to get back to the beach so I can make my next appointment!

Came in with a group of women. My therapist focused a lot on my head. I looked like a greasy mess when I left. Never had that happen before and this was my 3rd experience there. This time I wasn't asked what areas were of concern or where she should focus. It was very light pressure the entire time. I was relaxed, but definitely different from all other massages I've had. My mother and I both got one hour massages while my daughter got a one hour facial. The entire staff was extremely pleasant while the ambiance was peaceful and welcoming. The spa offered the usual water and tea while waiting for our services but they also offered wine! Our massages were wonderful, and the ladies were very professional and friendly! My daughter's facial brightened her face, and the aesthetician even gave her tips on how to keep her face clear and hydrated. I will definitely be visiting again!

My wife walked in for a manicure and I was the beneficiary of the ‘pedi-man’ part of the mani-pedi. I generally don’t like pedicures, and rarely get them anymore. However I explained my situation to Katie, asked for the manly version of a foot cleaning & massage, she listened and gave me an excellent experience. I think the best part was she listened, seemed to care about my comfort and modified her treatment, to fit my needs. That is so rare, so a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to the team at Avenue Day Spa.

The staff was welcoming and professional, and I received the best facial ever from Abigail, followed by an amazing mani-pedi. I highly recommend this spot - not only do they offer tons of pampering services, they also carry the best skin care products you can find. Make time to peruse the retail store, you will get lost in the variety of great stuff! I love this place!

I stumbled upon Avenue Apothecary & Spa a number of years ago when they first open and when I realized they offer massage services, I scheduled a massage for the next day. It was truly the best massage I had ever had and I get massage treatments quite often. I convinced the rest of my family to make appointments that same week and now every summer we each book at least two or three while we are in Rehoboth Beach. This past year I went into my massage with my knees aching with the pain of arthritis and as the therapist massaged my legs, she used a special product that I didn't think very much about until later that night, when I realized that I was walking on the boardwalk literally pain-free. I couldn't wait to get back to the store so I could buy a tube of the product that originally snubbed my nose to. I've used it several times since I've been home and each time with the same excellent results. It's almost time to order more. Avenue Apothecary is the real deal and their products are truly impressive and worth trying. Their staff is very knowledgeable - all I have to do is tell them my ailment and they know what I type of product I need. I can't wait to get back there. Of course, now I have to make sure I schedule my massage appointments before the rest of my family. Oh, and their prices have always been and continue to be very reasonable.

What a treat Avenue Day Spa is!!! I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was perfect, decor was amazing, and loved they offered blueberry infused water. I had the Organic Facial service by Abigail and was by far the best I've had. She made sure I was comfortable, super nice and had the perfect touch. AND my skin is still glowing days later. After my appointment was complete, I scheduled my next facial and a massage with Abigail I was so pleased. Even the products that were used were GREAT. I bought a few and am so pleased with the results in my skin already. GREAT experience!! If you're in Rehoboth and want the perfect tranquil day at the spa, this is the place.

I made an appointment for 11:15 – a 60 min relaxation massage. After checking in a few min before my appointment I was sat down in the waiting area. Mind you the place is empty. No offering of tea, or water: I'm waiting almost 30 min till someone comes over and brings me to the treatment room. There is a unpleasant oder in the room. The room also isn't organized at all. Lots of products scattered all over the place, on the floor. Machines in the way of the table. The table Itself is cold, and smells like body oder. I was given a disgusting ripped basket to place my clothes in, that had dust and filth inside of it. Really not a good scene. The massage was mediocre at best, and short. Only 50 min, even though I'm paying for a 60 min service. It was best described as clinical, not relaxing, and the worst part for some damn reason the masseuse placed a ice cold wet towel on my back at the end of the massage. Amazingly careless. After leaving the room I was offered small glass of room temperature water, if only it was cold like the room, or the towel. After some reflection, I called a day later asking for a refund. I was told, the owner has to make that call, and well he will call me. I explained the situation, and it seemed that the person I spoke with was very understanding, and a refund would be given. Several days later, no phone call from the owner, I called again, and the same person told me, oh we assumed you spoke with the owner, we will remind him again. 2 hours later I hear from the owner. This guy then proceeds to make an excuse about how busy he was and forgot to call. I explain my request for a refund, and he proceeds to argue with me, saying he was watching the service on the security cameras, and I checked in late, and I only waited a few min. Not true, I was on time, and waited 30 min. He admitted the massage was short. No apology! What's more distributing is apparently you are being watched by this creep show while you are getting your services done. I guess he has hidden cameras in the place. Interesting. I'm not sure if that's legal, and it's certainly disgusting and weird. I was offered 10% off a future service. I declined this offer. I was more in shock that apparently I was being watched at this place. Stay away. There are many other options in Rehoboth with much more professional staff, and nicer experience. I will not recommend, or retain any future services from this establishment.

Wow! I spent a week in Rehoboth and specifically at Avenue Apothecary and Spa and tried almost everything! Empress, Sheila and Kimona were so pleasant. The owner and her staff are so helpful. The place is so nice and clean. I have never had massages, nails or facials so good ever and I have tried a lot. So nice to meet you all and have this wonderful experience. Until next time...
