We made our appointments for wedding updos and received a text confirmation. Not being from the area, we weren't sure what to expect. However, shortly after walking through the door we were at ease. The place smells amazing! They were diffusing AVEDA oils and it seriously smelled like heaven in there. The reception area in rather large for the size of the salon and there are several comfortable seating options. You'll also find AVEDA products and some cute jewelry for sale in this area. When we arrived, we were offered a decent selection of drinks. I wouldn't have minded hanging out there for a while, but we were almost immediately taken back into the salon. Joyce did a beautiful job on the maid of honor. Rosana worked with the bridesmaid and bride. She listened closely to what each lady wanted, made changes according to their feedback, and kept everyone laughing. The entire staff was overly accommodating. One of the girls wasn't feeling well, and another stylist ran out to get her a Sprite. Where else are you going to get this type of luxury treatment for a reasonable price? Do yourself a favor and book your appointment today!

First impression the place smelles wonderful. 215 appointment and I wasnt taken back until 230. The young lady who washed my hair was a salon assistant with no experience. The hair wash/head massage is the best part... :( then i had to wait again because my stylist was behind. Whenever i make an appointment at a hair salon i stress the amount of hair i have to ensure there is extra time alloted. After the cut she put in a "curl" solution, but half way through drying my hair her next client arrived at which point she decided to straighten my hair after she told me she was going to give me "beachy curls" well my "straightened hair" lasted all of 15 min before the curl came back out. Over all I was very disappointed. Rushed.. No awesome hair wash... NO CONVERSATION. I will not be returning .

I have been a little iffy with chain salons like Hair Cuttery’s and Supercuts cause I feel as if they hire people just to hire people, so I decided to try All About U since it wasn’t a chain. My first time and first impression was about a month ago. The interior, and how fresh and clean everything was, and the atmosphere is how they have gotten themselves to a 2 star. My stylist, Mikayla (apologies if spelt wrong) was very friendly, I entrusted her to do a perm for me in which I enjoyed a lot, however was starting to wear off not even a month, even though they should last a couple months. So I came back in and was offered 2 choices Mikayla or Mike. I wanted to give Mikayla a second chance, so I chose her (little did I know what was about to happen). I wanted my hair cut on the sides short and the top long enough so I could curl it back. Mikayla left the sides at the right length I had wanted it to be, then came to the top part in which it seemed like it was difficult for her to do. Like I said I wanted my top to progressively get longer when you get to the bangs, and also showed her a reference photo of a model with at least 4.5 inches on the bangs. Also told her I wanted long bangs to cover my forehead. The top was at the desired length, to her it wasn’t good enough, so she tried to fix it by cutting more... and more... and more... and more til finally I was left with 1.5 inches for my bangs that didn’t do it justice cause it left my forehead exposed. I could tell that she knew she didn’t do good either, cause she was noticeably insecure with a lot of things she had done to my hair. To me that was just enough to know that either I could’ve gotten someone there who could’ve done it better or the people there just don’t know what they’re doing even with the license. Came home put some spray to try and curl it back, and what does it do? It sticks up cause there isn’t enough hair to weigh it down. For the back of my hair? Mikayla didn’t show me, but when I checked it, it was definitely noticeably crooked. So now I need to try to get extensions for my tiny 1.5 inch bangs. I tipped her more than I should only cause the massage on my head was pleasant, other than that I’m not really sure how I feel about this place. I’ve gotten cuts from Hair Cuttery’s before, and they have yet to disappoint me. This cut was good from the start but just went downhill when she was trying to cut all her mistakes by making my bangs go shorter than it should be. Mikayla I’m sorry, but this is worse than a chain salons hair cut. This is just horrendously disappointing, that I’m so insecure that I now wear a cap on my head at all times.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. I recently began coming here since my barber Ryan began working here. I get my haircut every 2 weeks by him. My barber Ryan is the best barber I have ever had. He is a perfectionist. It is refreshing as a guy to find someone who puts effort into every little detail instead of just a quick buzz cut. He really takes his time shaping every thing up & focusing on all the little things which results in a really sharp overall appearance that gives me confidence. Not only just my hair but facial hair too. This place allows him to use a straight razor to shave with hot towels which is a real treat. Although I would probably follow my barber anywhere because he is that good, I will say I am happy that this is where he is at now. This is definitely a few steps above the competition & does not have a bland franchise vibe here. Would definitely recommend especially if you are a guy who wants a proper hair cut or a straight razor shave go see Ryan.

I recently had my daughter's make-up done here for her formal dance. We were pleased with the quality of service. The staff was very welcoming. I would definitely like to seek other services here.

I am new to Ocean View and was overdue for a cut. Alex did a fabulous job and I will definitely go back in 6-8 weeks. I was offered coffee and to my surprise, it was served in an beautiful cup! The staff was friendly and I will recommend this salon to anyone I meet.
