I waited until after my 30 day touch up to leave a review. All I can say is WOW. I feel like a new woman with my beautiful Microbladed brows by Lacie. As a blond and past menopause, I thought I'd never have brows again. She throughly explained the process, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I was given detailed aftercare instructions and was told to call at anytime with any questions. Fantastic! Have been using them for years, Debra knows her craft. I was very VERY cautious about Botox but she knows how to control it, as I do not choose to look like wax! Just a little takes YEARS off physically but really helps me emotionally. The facility is great, offers great gifts and staff is terrific. They regularly run promotional specials and its more cost effective than buying fancy overpriced creams- this stuff actually works!

I visited Newtown MediSpa and would highly recommend. Starting at the front desk, my whole experience was positive. I saw Lacie for microblading and she is an absolute expert at what she does. She explained the whole process and aftercare in detail and made you feel totally at ease. I was most worried about the pain, but was pleasantly surprised when it was just brief discomfort. Yesterday I had my third microblading session with Lacie. Ladies and Gentlemen, book your brow upgrade with Lacie. She is an artist, and she gets right to it. I'm totally in love with my eyebrows now...I don't need to wear much makeup at all since I've had microblading. A little mascara and lip gloss, maybe some blush when I haven't had some sunshine on my cheeks, and I'm ready to go. So happy!

Since turning 44 last month, I have been very critical over the appearance of the lines on my face, and realized that time was my adversary. That being said, I finally caved and had botox to rid myself of these pesky lines.... If anyone has been considering it, but were concerned or fearful of the process, it was not painful at all. The facility was welcoming, clean and very comfortable. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous and more than happy to answer any and all questions I had. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that the person performing the injections was an RN and the owner a PA, which really went a long way to calming my nerves. I was able to purchase a groupon which drastically reduced the cost. So if you've been on the fence, I highly recommend giving them a call!

I had my first Microblading done with Lacie at Newtown MediSpa in May 2018. I was very apprehensive because of a childhood scar that visibly broke my right brow into two sections. Lacie spent time listening to my concerns, drew in a brow and adjusted it to my liking. After numbing the area, she worked meticulously. Yes, the procedure is uncomfortable, but not unbearable...and she’s quick, but not rushed. She’s an experienced artist. My friends were surprised to see Lacie’s stroke lines up close. They look just like hairs. Because of my scar, I had been using an eyebrow pencil since I was 15. At 49, I threw that pencil away! Good riddance. I am also glad Lacie took the time to warn me about my appearance before I healed from the procedure. She was right to tell me my husband/family would most likely complain that I looked like Groucho Marx. My husband was mad that I had altered my appearance. Now he looks at me, with my healed brows, and tells me again I’m beautiful. I believe I look even better than before. I am so happy and highly recommend Lacie for your Microblading procedure at Newtown MediSpa.

I always feel good coming here for IPL and today, a chemical peel for my chest (hey, I was a lifeguard in CA/sun happens). I’ve been modeling for over 17 years and now have a traditional corporate job. I still care about my appearance, not just for the camera but for myself. I’m still with my NYC agency and realize at any age you can look in the mirror and like what you see. I’m still working on not caring about the number. It’s a bizarre stigma most have regarding youth & beauty. We all simply want to keep looking good for where we’re at in life & experience. At the end of the day, you wouldn’t keep a classic car and not care about the paint job. Nice environment & staff. Not inexpensive yet comparable to most like-type spas with the same skill-level.

I am very concerned with my experience at Newtown Medispa and I am seeking a refund. My first appointment for lip injections was in September, I was injected by one of the RN’s. I was never seen by a NP, PA or MD for an assessment before the injections. The nurse said she was only going to use some of the syringe that day and I would need to come back within 60 days to use the rest of the same syringe. I went back about a month later to finish the syringe and I am now wondering how they keep track of the syringes and don’t mix it up with other peoples. I also had to pay an additional fee for the second session! After both sessions I saw little to no results other than an extremely asymmetrical upper and lower lip. My concerns were expressed and I was told to come back and everything would be handled, they wanted their customers satisfied. I left with nothing, every person I spoke with at the medispa said my lips looked great and there was nothing they could do expect maybe a discount on the next syringe if the owner approved it. My lips were so clearly asymmetrical and I become self conscious about them. That led me to finally go to a new medical spa that understood my concerns. The new injector pointed out the asymmetry of my lips before I even mentioned my concerns. I am extremely upset that I spent so much money at Newtown Medispa for poor results and experienced non compliance with the CT Department of Public Health.

I was very nervous about doing any kind of filler and looking scary but Jackie was so professional, knowledgeable and reassuring and took me through with “baby steps” being careful not to overdo it. She is like an artist, meticulously sculpting and making sure everything is symmetrical. She is “lovely” as well (inside joke!) Jen, the owner, is so effervescent and friendly and she has a great staff of beautiful, interesting and talented women. I find myself getting treatments just so I can hang out with the girls. So go go go!!! You will be happy with whatever you get done and have a fun time doing it

Newtown medispa is the best spot in CT for all of your medi spa needs. The staff is friendly and accommodating, spa is clean and serene and Tanya the RN is a true artist when it comes to injections! I have the full perfect lips I have always wanted without pain or bruising. I’ve visited a high end NYC location and left with minimal results and bruises for 10 days. Newtown medi spa will not disappoint and they always offer specials! Love it here!
