I was visiting my Mom in West Hartford and my back was really bothering me. After seeing the excellent reviews for "A Touch Of Bliss Organic Spa" I decided to give them a try. My masseuse Becky really took her time asking me about my history and my issues, and based on that, she recommended CBD ritual which was a massage with organic CBD oil. I have never heard about CBD before, and was a little bit skeptical, but decided to try it anyway. My massage and overall experience at "A Touch Of Bliss Organic Spa" was wonderful and even better then I anticipated. Pressure was exactly what I wanted and I was able to relax on a much deeper level than usual Becky carefully listened to what I said and focused specifically on areas of my concerns. After I was done with massage, my back immediately felt better and overall I felt much better, rejuvenated and more serene. When I woke up the next morning, pain in my back was completely gone. Thank you Becky! I will definitely return for another massage next time when I am visiting CT.

This is the third time, I had a facial from Erina. The facials have all been heavenly. She has magic hands. I have never felt more relaxed! I have fallen asleep every time. I try to stay awake, but Erina's hands just relax me so much that I usually sleep through half of the facial. When the facial is done, my skin feels very smooth, rich and smells great. I definitely recommend going to Erina for a facial. She also gives you a head, arm and hand massage.

I am so thankful that I have found A Touch of Bliss Spa. Erina is incredible. I have battled acne for a long time and her treatments/facials as well as the organic product line that she uses has gotten me to an acne free place. After my first facial, my skin was glowing. I didn't realize how dull it had looked. My eyes were brighter and the wrinkles had subsided. Erina is truly gifted. The spa is relaxing and beautiful. I have also had massages there - Cari is amazing - she is strong and is extremely knowledgeable about the anatomy of the body so you always feel safe. In addition, the Jane Iredale make-up line is stocked there, which is a holistic make-up line and is amazing for your face and skin.

I am a regular client at a Touch of Bliss for about 3 years. My skin improved tremendously since I first experienced Erina's facial, it was (and always is) a touch of bliss which heals, relaxes and makes one feel beautiful - deep down and inside out. Last week I tried a treatment which is new to a spa - HydraFacial MD and still can not get over how wonderful it is. It is much gentler then Microdermabrasion but yet very effective. To my surprise, I noticed a difference in my skin after my first visit. Afterward, my face gleamed from the deep cleaning, with absolutely no redness in sight—an effect that explains why this relaxing but results-driven treatment has become go-to for both my sensitive-skin in need of deep cleaning and busy days on the go. After my hydrafacial I had a new massage by Rachel - ashiatsu. A combination of deep tissue ashiatsu massage done with feet instead of hands. It felt like passive yoga: all major muscles, ligaments, joints received wonderful and powerful stretch. It felt that body "wrinkled" with stiffness was completely "ironed" to perfect relaxation. Highly recommend! The service was as usually friendly, professional - perfect. Cozy, serene environment and immaculate cleanliness as usually.

I have been coming here for a bit over a year of teen facials to help with my acne. When i came here for the first time, my face was completely covered with pimples; they were all over my forehead, chin, nose, and parts of my cheeks. I tried going to dermatologists, got perscibed face washes, tried expensive kits, but none of them helped. After coming to Touch of Bliss, I now have none of maybe one pimple on my face at a time. When I came to Touch of Bliss I was given individual attention, and Irina talked to me about how to improve my face, witch products and eating habits, while dermatologists prescribed the same product for every teen no matter how severe their acne. Every time I came for a facial I was greeted by name at the door, and treated with the utmost kindness. Never have I seen anyone working at touch of bliss be rude, which is very important when coming for routine facials. The facials are very enjoyable and Irina is very gentle even when doing extractions. I always look forward to coming to touch of bliss. Choosing Touch of Bliss was definitely a great choice, I highly recommend!

I just came back from my third facial at A Touch of Bliss Organic Spa. I look and feel radiant! When I first went there, my face was red and chapped and dead looking. Now my 54 year old face feels plump and supple. The experience of receiving Erina’s Signature Facial is like no other. All senses are cared for with low lighting, beautiful spa decor, intoxicating essential oil smells, a great selection of classical and zen music and of course the feeling of massage and succulent serums being slathered masterfully on my face! Even taste... yes taste is taken into account. Upon arrival in the wonderful waiting room are nuts, chocolates, teas and cookies. To top this delightful experience off, the staff are as kind as can be and knowledgeable about all of the products! I could not recommend this luxurious spa more! Enjoy!

Oscar Wilde said that he had very simple tastes; he only liked the best. He would have booked a permanent room at A Touch of Bliss, and had it ready and waiting. This place is special in too many ways to encapsulate in a brief Internet review. First of all, at a time when we are all inundated with alarming news of chemicals in our food, drinking water, and containers, customers can know that Erina, the founder and owner of A Touch of Bliss, uses only pure, safe ingredients. Lots of people in the beauty business say this. Most of them don't have a hard-science background, with an engineering degree. Erina does. She has studied biochemistry and fully understands the products she uses at their component level. (By the way, she's bilingual and trained in a variety of techniques for reducing stress, including lymphatic drainage; I actually breathe differently after one of her facials.) Erina has assembled a team of bright, gracious, talented women, who express the vision she had when she opened this place: safe, effective, customized care. Recently I saw Rebecca for a full-body massage, but she said the tension in my neck and shoulders was so bad that she wanted to just concentrate on that area, and after 60 minutes I was a new person. Erina decided to do something called "The Magic Carpet," which sounded vaguely hallucinogenic. I didn't like it at first, because she wasn't putting her magic hands on my face; it was a series of rollers. But I figured I'd let her enjoy herself, playing with her toys. When I looked in the mirror after forty minutes, my face was clean, smooth, and radiant -- no hyperbole. The space is beautiful and relaxing, with fruit-infused water, tea, and comfortable chairs. My mother has become devotee and likes to lounge in the sitting room with her book in between, say, an arctic-berry facial and an organic body wrap. After a few visits, A Touch of Bliss starts to feel like home, because Erina is basically a protective Jewish mother who treats regulars like family. There's no place quite like this in Connecticut (or New York), so I recommend making an appointment for whatever you need -- even if it's a quick wax. You'll know that the waxer is one of the best in the state and the materials are all organic and non-toxic. You might bump into a handsome, quiet, distinguished gentleman, who's visiting from his office. That's Joe, Erina's husband, who's like a shock-absorber for her expansive energy and who takes (adorable) pride in her. After my last visit, Erina told me that the Magic Carpet's effects don't last forever; one needs to do it every few months. She is realistic in her claims; there's no false advertising or mumbo-jumbo here. A Touch of Bliss does not promise magic but delivers it.

Both the facial and massage felt great, and I felt very relaxed during the treatment and after the treatment. The spa is very clean and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Have nothing but amazing things to say about Touch of Bliss Spa. I was always one of those people that didn't believe in facials. I always had decent skin and was always worried that a facial would irritate my skin or cause redness so it was never something I thought I needed. Fast forward to my trial run for my wedding day makeup, the day I realized for the first time what not treating your skin for 30 years does- when the makeup artist was finished, you could visibly see all my pores in a very unattractive and unpleasant way- definitely not something I would be happy with on my wedding day- and to reiterate, I have always had pretty decent skin - but not treating skin even if its good skin clearly takes its toll. As I still had some time left to the wedding the makeup artist strongly recommended I do a few facials to help with the pores so they don't show up as much as my wedding day. I was honestly still a bit nervous and hesitant but I knew I had to do something- and thats when I found Touch of Bliss Spa. Upon speaking to Erina she recommended a hydrofacial treatment. Upon arriving and prepping for treatment I was still nervous- what will my skin look like after? Will it break out? Will it be red? Will it be painful? A lot of scary thoughts ran through my mind. Then the procedure started. For around 30 minutes Irina very gently navigated my skin, focusing on areas that needed the most work. It wasn't painful at all and actually felt refreshing on my face. Fast forward to post treatment- I looked at my face and was immediately in awe- it felt smoother than I had felt in years. There was a bit of redness that went away within 30 minutes. There was no breakout and the next day when I looked at myself in the mirror I genuinely looked better, younger and fresher. I sat there and wondered what I was so nervous about all this time. Thanks to Erina my skin looked years younger and I officially became a believer. Not treatment my skin was a mistake and Touch of Bliss Spa helped me realize that. Without a doubt I went to another treatment prior to my wedding which went as smoothly and amazingly as the first one and on my wedding day, it was like night and day - my pores were barely visible and my makeup looked great. Honestly I am very thankful to Touch of Bliss for doing such a great job on my skin, especially for the most important day of my life and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I'm sorry but as a person who've been getting massages for over 35 years and belonged to Burke Williams a high end spa for many years, I have to say this was the worst massage I've ever received in my life. I left a note for the owner to know how dissatisfied I was. Erina is amazing! I have gone to A Touch of Bliss twice for facials and I plan on keeping regular appointments because the results have been amazing so far. I was impressed from the first visit when I filled out a detailed survey and Erina had a consultation with me before she began the facial to figure out the best solution for my skin type. The experience you get is so much more than a regular facial and I always leave with glowing skin and the same stress-free feeling after yoga. I started using the Eminence product line and my skin looks brighter and smoother after two months of use. I can't wait for my next appointment, I'm hooked!

My boyfriend and I received two gift certificates to A Touch of Bliss Spa for 60 minute deep tissue massages. He had been to other spas before to receive massages but this was my first time. We called a day before to get a couples session set up, knowing it was a bit last minute. The staff was very friendly and was able to make occommodations for us for the next morning. I am familiar with West Hartford and their location. Parking was easy in the back but there were also plenty of spots on the street. There is a quant consignment shop on the first floor and the Spa on the second. As soon as you walk in the door, a pleasant scent invites you up the spiral staircase. We were immediately welcomed in the lobby area by name and were introduced to two therapists, Rachael and Pauline. We were walked into a separate room filled with candles and ask to fill out a simple form about our problem areas and a few other health questions. We were offered lemon water and fresh nuts. After we finished the form, our therapists came and walked us into the massage room. The music was low and candles were lit. It smelled heavenly too! Our therapists walked us through what to expect and assured us of our comfort levels. Once they left the room, we undressed and laid down on very comfortable massage tables, covered with a sheet and a heavier blanket. The massage itself was incredibly relaxing. Each therapist checked in multiple times to make sure we were comfortable, the pressure wasn't too much or too little. As a first time for me, I was a bit nervous about the whole thing but I didn't feel uncomfortable once. I will be going here for my next massage! My boyfriend said this was the best overall experience he's had getting a massage. They also offer facials, other types of massages, sell lotions and makeup. Overall, a fantastic experience with obviously well trained and knowledgable therapists in a relaxing, smoothing atmosphere.

Had my upper lip waxed, and first off I want to say that everyone working there was lovely to me. However, there was no prep on my skin for before the waxing, and I ended up having strips of skin ripped off on both sides of my face. A week later I now have some bumps on my upper lip. Won’t be returning.

I just moved to the Hartford area from Boston, so I was looking for a new salon in the area. I found A Touch of Bliss by looking at reviews on Yelp. I called because I was curious about waxing. I had been wanting to get my legs waxed and noticed they used a different hair removal, similar to wax but different. I called and Janet explained everything, so I decided to give it a try given that I HATE shaving. I'm so so glad I did. While it absolutely still is an uncomfortable feeling it was way better than I thought. Janet was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything thing before we started and again as she was waxing me. I already booked my next appointment! I can't wait to save my pennies for a facial as I'm sure they are just as wonderful. Highly recommend. The spa was also very clean and cozy.

Went for a hydrafacial today. In crux, It was a waste of money and time. Here are the things that went wrong - 1. At the start, they made me wait for my appointment. 2. Then at the time of the facial, I was told that I had the worst clogged pores in my face and even the machine wasn't enough to do the job. Elena, my esthetician, went ahead to extract blackheads with her fingers for a couple of minutes but then told me that it will take an hour for her to complete the job. I wondered if paying $200 for the facial wasn't enough for an hour of her time. 3.Selling products to customers is fine but I did not like the comparison between my current regimen and eminence products to convince me for an upsell Would not be visiting again.

Poor Record Keeping/ Poor Customer Service Would not use this service again! They do not keep good records of their clients gift cards. I had used a partial gift card that was given to me and when I did the women took my gift card. When I asked if I should hold on to it she said not to worry I would be in their system. Well that was not the case. When I inquired more about it they asked for me to look for a service receipt in my e-mail. I never recieved one. So now I am out about $100.00.They did not keep proper records. Poor Record Keeping/ Poor Customer Service

I have been going to Touch of Bliss spa for a few months now, and my skin has never looked better. My husband noticed my skin while I was walking in the yard one day. He was talking to me from a second story window, and asked if I did something different or if I got Botox, which I haven't. I was wearing no make-up. He also makes comments and says, "I don't know what it is, but you just get more beautiful everyday." I think it's the facials I've been getting at Touch of Bliss. I rotate between the hydrafacial and an anti-aging facial. I also use the facial products they recommend. Erina is great, and I would recommend Touch of Bliss spa in a heartbeat to anyone!

I just REALLY love this place. It’s like a lot of spas I’ve been to, in regards to great massages, and a relaxing, peaceful environment- except they also have giant dose of welcoming and friendliness. My husband got me a gift card to try out this out this place and I am so glad he chose this one. I’m new to the area and plan on making this my new go to massage place. They have delicious flavored water, a comfy little relaxing area to sit and drink tea and have snacks. One of the best, if not the BEST massages I’ve had in my life (deep tissue) and I’ve been to a to a ton of spas. They have facial services and some nice products for sale as well. I strongly recommend trying it out for yourself!
