I had an amazing experience and highly recommend Alexis and Rachel. Wonderful place with incredible staff. Well worth every penny.

Bela Terra

Greatest experience. Amazing customer service and a great place for a soak with friends and family. If you are in Manitou Springs, stop by SunWater Spa and experience a state of Zen

Arrived at 8pm on Saturday night (family of 4) drove over 100 miles to get to get there, meant to be a little earlier but dinner ran late. The parking lot was empty and not a person was in sight nor did we hear anyone so we thought we had a good chance at a nice relaxing soak until at least closing time! But to our dismay we were turned away because ALL the tubs were "at capacity". Really tough to believe they couldn't fit us in when there was no one in sight and no cars in the lot. Also, from the outside the facility was silent. So disappointed. *I just read another reviewer saying the girl with green and black hair was rude (same woman) and another saying the receptionist told them a very large party had just come in. (We were told the same thing!!!)

I loved it all! The staff was so friendly when i walked in, and i was immediately impressed with the atmosphere, cleanliness and energy of the spa! The whole place is so beautiful and relaxing. I booked the juniper lymphatic massage with Heather and i can honestly say it was a great experience. First and foremost, she was super informative and forward about what to expect and made sure i was comfortable. I really appreciated that because this was a new type of massage for me. The massage itself was professional, relaxing and incredible! I highly recommend!!!! I was nervous because of the price and the fact that i was driving from Pueblo but it was well worth it and i have every intention of returning soon!!!

Tara Garcia

Great place loved Every second. Very clean staff Very sweet.

Absolutely disgusting! We booked the "VIP" spa for $70 and there was a bunch of skin and hair floating in the water before we even got in. Once I noticed that the filter was also clogged up with some white substance and parts of the tub felt slimy, that's when we got out even though we paid for an hour. You don't know how good it felt to get home and take a shower!!! Absolutely gross experience, highly not recommend to go there.

So amazing ! I had a massage from Delaney today after having chronic neck and shoulder pain for weeks. It was so relaxing and exactly what I needed ! Not only is the environment extremely peaceful but Delaney was incredibly nice and did a wonderful job! Thank you!

Kathy Gomez

Beautiful view of the mountains while soaking in the cedars tub, 3rd level!

Ashlyn Zamora

I love SunWater’s vibe! The yoga room is spacious and so so beautiful. I’ve met some of my closest friends here. You never know who you will meet in one of the tubs! My favorite time to come is at night under a starry sky! Def recommend the Sauna first, then shower, soak in tubs, cold plunge then end up in the therapy pool downstairs. I would also recommend bringing your own water bottle to fill up at any of their filtered water stations or mineral water stations. Bring your own towel & a some type of sun protection (no sunscreen in the water) if you are gonna soak during the day.

Jeremy Winter

There were multiple hot tub each one was set to a different temperature. Many where outside on the patio of the three store spa. There were great views of the surrounding mountains. Staff was friendly. I had a great experience. Highly recommed.

Andrea Corbo

Pure bliss! I feel completely renewed after the hot mineral soak. LOVE this place!!!!

Donna Lyons-Atwell

The stone massage was top notch but I had an aweful customer service experience. Per the web site, it says that discounts are provided for teachers, military, etc. and to contact a SunWater representative for details. I asked if there was a military discount when I booked my appointment and told yes. I showed up, checked in, offered to pay and told the cashier that I was to receive a military discount and she asked if I wanted to pay after the massage. I said "sure." After the massage, I was told that there was no 10% discount for massages and that there were "new" people who took appointments who didn't know better. But why was nothing said when I checked in and first offered to pay and showed my ID? Very misleading and soured what had been a great massage. Web site and promotional materials need to be clearer. I paid full price $145 but won't recommend this place due to my experience.

Main building is lovely with all the different tubs to soak in (my favorite is on top with a great view of Pikes Peak, even on a sunnny winter day). Staff are very accommodating. Walk to other building for facial was a bit odd, but the room was cozy & relaxing (that's where the photos were taken).

It is with regret that I must review SWS as one star. I have been around SWS for years. I have even been a member. But I will never darken their door again after today. I am elderly and disabled. I live about an hour away from SWS, so I called before showing up, informed them that an elderly disabled person is coming, and asked about how that looked to them. I was told to come on in. I arrived at 3:30 p.m., exactly when I said I would. When I got to SWS, I was informed that they were full up, and the best that they could offer me is a place on their waiting list, with a 2 hour wait. Possibly not being able to get in at all. Now, bear in mind that the main reason I was showing up was because my disability requires me to do some form of heat each and every day. I was relying on SWS for this today, and they just blew my only opportunity to do that. At that point, if I don't get some kind of heat, I'm basically screwed: I won't sleep the night I miss my heat. Too much discomfort. So here I am, standing at the SWS desk, explaining that to them. The response I got from SWS was precisely nothing. Simply repeated apologies. Now, I understand that SWS might not have been able to let me in at that moment, fire regulations being what they are. My problem with SWS is simple: You made a commitment to an elderly, disabled person. If you can't keep that commitment, you need to move heaven and Earth at that point to accommodate the disabled person. Like, what about moving the disabled person to the head of the wait list. Maybe you can't let me in at that moment. But certainly you can let the elderly, disabled person who traveled an hour to get his handicapped bones to your business. I seriously doubt that any of the enabled folks would have minded letting the old disabled guy who traveled for an hour cut in line. There was nothing like that from SWS. No acknowledgement of the more serious problem. Failing to serve a disabled person is just not the same as with an enabled person. There are all kinds of medical issues that can occur. Certainly, SWS's failure to serve me today caused me major problems. My comment to Kat Tudor, the owner of SWS: My understanding is that you were trying to recreate healing waters of Manitou. In other words, create a business that is primarily about helping sick, disabled people. As a disabled person, if I cannot rely upon your word, if I can call your business, explain my situation, and then still not be admitted to your business, then, sadly, at that point, your business is completely worthless to me.

Great spa great atmosphere just some of the workers have nasty attitudes instructors great but the red head at the desk on the 2nd floor gave me a look to kill. I will be contacting management

Laura Balboni

A friend and I recently attended an Aqua yoga class here and it was a great experience. The facility is beautiful and peaceful, and made us feel like we were having a spoiled spa experience the whole time we were there. My only complaint was in leading up to the class I got a lot of misinformation from the ladies at the front desk about the schedule and registration for the class so perhaps they are training a new staff.

Debbie Spencer

My husband and I have massages here everytime we come for a visit. Devon is phenomenal and has helped us both with deep tissue and trigger point releases. When my husband came back from his massage with Devon he said "wow, he really knows what he is doing!" I couldn't agree more. The rooms are comfortable and cozy...I feel like I am being nested. Thanks and keep up the good work Devon!

Finally, Colorado Springs metro area has a wonderful destination for soaking bliss. A variety of quality wood tubs, each with interesting views are located on several levels of this beautiful building. Then there's the awesome indoor soak pool with adjoining hot and cold dips for ultimate pleasure and relaxation, with outdoor access as weather permits. Friendly staff and clean facility. You may even enjoy the heated floor tiles in the changing/shower rooms with scented shampoos and body wash if you're into that sort of thing. We used to have to drive over the pass to Buena Vista / Mount Princeton for a relaxing soak, only to lose the mellow vibe by having to drive the two hours back. Thank you SunWater!

Amanda Cruickshanks

Better than I expected!! Changing/showering facilities are a little cramped, and one was out of order, but this place was super neat. We were lucky to come on a not so busy day, very peaceful and beautiful. I fell asleep in the car on the way home I was so relaxed haha, will definitely be coming back!!

Angelica Madrid

Took my 13 year old today for a mommy/daughter spa day. It was so peaceful and serene. Everyone had such good energy here and Michelle did your facials and that was a delight. I can't wait to go back, this is our new favorite place.

Suzanne Thomas

Way overpriced for soaking. You raised your prices again and did it in May right before tourist season started....GREEDY! Your staff seems annoyed, yoga is boring and the tubs are cold. The decor is nice and I like the infrared sauna even though there is a guy who opens the door every 15 minutes to tell you, you need to sign a waiver even we told him we did. Sorry but for this price, I think you guys are lacking in some areas....

Axis Arbor

Although the price to soak keeps going up, it's a wonderful place to be.

dennis artyomenko

This hotspring sucks, tried to go 3 different times and was told their all booked up. We waitied on the call back list till 10 pm when they finnally bothered to call back.Horrible customer service. You think they would try harder being the only hotspring in the area. Save your money and go the royal gorge!

I moved here recently and my best friends flew in to visit me for a few days. For our last evening together (Sunday, Oct 20) we planned to soak in spa hot pools. We called Sun Spa on Saturday Oct 19 to reserve spots. We were told no reservations, we could just drop in. When we arrived at 3:30 pm the next day for their 4 pm yoga class the front desk was surrounded with people. We paid for yoga and almost paid for the soak but then were told not to pay since there was a waiting list and we weren't allowed to get on the list until yoga was over!! The front desk young women weren't sure what type of yoga class they were offering and they disagreed slightly as to whether we could be put on the waiting list. We got the impression in this confusing conversation that they may have decided to put us on the list but alas when we finished yoga class (5:30) there were 15 people/groups on the list, and we were then put at the bottom of the list. And each person got 2 hours in the tubs. We waited 15 minutes, watched 2 women from our yoga class go into the pools (we were told they got priority because they were friends of the yoga instructor) and then we looked at the list again and it had not changed. It could be hours (or never) before we got in for a soak!! I would not call this a spa. It was all so awkward, unorganized, and crowded. We were all very upset and disappointed. Although our yoga class was great (Ross was great instructor and the studio was gorgeous), we were there for a soak. Some guidance or help or kindness on the phone beforehand or when we arrived would have been so helpful! We were just so surprised that a drop-in "spa" wouldn't allow us into tubs at 5:30 when we had arrived and paid for a "spa" service at 3:30. The acting manager (Ross) was standing behind the receptionists at the front desk looking at her phone while I tried one final time to get better understanding from the receptionists as to when we might be able to use the tubs. I had to work the next day so soaking at 10 pm was not an option. Ross did not look up from her phone. When we asked to talk to manager they offered to find Ross but I was already under the impression she didn't care so finally we left, 3 hours after arriving, feeling angry. The biggest impression we got was a lack of caring or kindness from the staff. I have heard since then that staff turn over rate is 75%. I really wish I had not relied on this place to host us and please my guests on our last evening. I will not be back.

Visited for the first time. My visit was on a weekday evening and there was plenty of room in all the tubs. Building and facilities are very modern. The view of the downtown area, mountainsides, and park was nice. The entire experience was peaceful, and relaxing. Shampoo, body wash & conditioner provided in the bathrooms had a pleasant smell (maybe eucalyptus). Complimentary mineral water with citrus fruit in it was a added plus. Will definitely visit again when in the Colorado Springs/Manitou area. Staff was very friendly, met a few of them at the front counter and one while soaking. I would like to thank (Kelly) I believe was her name for the excellent experience at arrival. Comments & Suggestions.. Tubs were all 97-102 degrees. (a few hotter?). Bathrooms/changing area were small. Changing areas were cluttered with peoples clothes. (People need to be told they can use a locker without a lock). Was a different experience from the sulfur hot springs Ive been to elsewhere. For where its at, and what it is, This place is definitely a positive addition to the Manitou Springs area

I felt compelled to write a review for this place because there were so many negative reviews regarding the staff, which made me a little skeptical to trying this place out. I walked in prepared and ready for rude people who hated their jobs to slap me in the face and tell me to get out, but I have to say everyone was REALLY pleasant and helpful. I don't know - maybe you get back what you put out there. I'm also from the NY city area, so my perception of rude might just be different. After a nice long soak, I got a massage and then a facial, and both therapists (plus the woman who escorted me to each) were super sweet. Their talents really added to the experience - i suggest you spring for some kind of service to really get the full treatment. Anyway, aside from the friendly staff, the facilities were pretty nice and clean. Don't be fooled - this place isn't secluded in the mountains like some others (Avalanche Ranch, I love you 4 ever), but you don't always have the luxury of driving deep into the mountains for a scenic soak. This place is super convenient in terms of location, and you still get a killer view. It wasn't too crowded at all - I basically had a tub or pool to myself the entire time. They set you up with a towel, robe, sandals, and a lock/key for the lockers if you need it. I think it was customary for you to provide some kind of collateral for the lock/key, so just be prepared for that. The place shuts down the outside tubs from 2-4 for cleaning so keep that in mind for your planning. It wasn't an issue for me because I booked my treatments for that time, and just did a mini soak between in the indoor pools. Plan for a day that isn't so busy (a weekday) and do the AM soak followed by treatments, and you'll be sure to have a great time. Thanks SunWater for a lovely spa day!

Nicholas Whitaker

Luxurious hot tubs at varying temperatures, yoga, spa treatments, showers and great customer service. Don't miss the stone and cold water walking path on the 1st floor.

Lydia Krebs

I was a little nervous about booking a massage and soak here because of the negative reviews. But I had a WONDERFUL experience. First, Sunshine at the front desk greeted me cheerfully, made me feel totally welcome, and patiently answered all my questions. Next, I took a yoga class with Christopher, who gave me some great corrections/feedback. The class was challenging, but Christopher offered lots of modifications and urged us to choose sustainability over ego when it came to selecting our fullest expression of each pose. Then I did a two-hour soak. There was plenty of room in the tubs, the water was hot (but not too hot), and the views were fantastic. Finally, I had a deep-tissue massage with Erin. (Apparently there are two Erins. This was new Erin, who just started a few weeks ago.) She absolutely blew me away. I like a LOT of pressure. And most massage therapists are either too weak to really dig into me or too scared of hurting me to use all their strength. Erin was neither. She listened to my requests, repeatedly checked in with me to make sure the pressure was okay, and ultimately trusted me when I said yes. And she was plenty strong. Getting a massage while traveling is always a crapshoot, but Erin did not disappoint. It was absolutely the best on-the-road massage I’ve ever had, and I’ve had lots of them. I will definitely be back!

Went in tonight to soak in the tubs. We arrived at about 9:15 and paid $50 for two people to get in. It closes at 11:00 so we figured we had a good amount of time. The woman at the front desk was not friendly at all when we arrived. We walk down the hall and couldn't really figure out where to go so we asked a staff member. She said "you can shower in there" and walked away with an attitude like we were supposed to know. We had a great time in the tubs and saunas. The facilities themselves are really nice and relaxing. As we are floating around in the pool on the lower level, a man walks in and yells "It's 10:45. We close in 15 minutes and are cleaning up now. You need to start making your way out." He is rushing around picking up towels and cups, throwing things away. We hurry up and get out thinking we are keeping these people from closing. We shower, get dressed, get all of our things together and I grab my phone to see the time...it is 10:37. I am irritated at this point that we just spent $50 to get in to be rushed out. I go up to the front desk to complain and tell her what happened. She responds by saying "Uhmm we ARE about to close, and it IS 15 minutes before closing." I showed her my phone at which point it says 10:38. She responds with "Well, you didn't have to rush out." Sadly, we will not ever return purely because of how EXTREMELY RUDE ALL of their staff is. I have recommended so many people to go here, but will be telling all to avoid.

Over priced. I have spent roughly $400 trying this place because I really want to like it. I grew up in manitou love the town love the waters and it is most convenient to other soaking options. The pools are usually scummy, most of the time the tubs are not all open and you have to share a tub with a chatty neighbor. The indoor pool area stinks! The staff is generally clueless to what is going on and often act as though you are inconveniencing them. The dressing room is a bathroom with a bench and often times you are blocking the door to the person who is trying to leave the toilet stall. The showers are never clean and if you happen to be changing or naked all people standing at the front desk can see you when the door is opened. Every time and I mean every time I go there some weirdo creep is trying to have sex in the pools on one occasions in the same pool me and my girl friends were soaking in. The building is poorly designed.

Leah D

Its a beautiful facility however, I often feel disappointed every time I go there. The water is never warm enough and there were only a few pools open. Still a wonderful view and clean facility!

Courtney Henslee

If you're in from out of town, it should be on your bucket list to watch the sunset over Pike's Peak from in a mineral hot tub. I go every week for a soak to relieve stress, force myself away from my phone and my work, and to watch the sunset and watch the stars appear. I love to soak, plunge in the cold pool, go back to heated saltwater pool, get in the sauna, and then lay down in a hammock under the stars. Best money you'll ever spend on yourself.

maksim tyshkevich

Rather disappointing. The website mentions 2hr public soaking for $25/person and private soaking for $35/person. It doesn't mention anywhere that private soaking is only 1hr long...

Samuel Zamora

This is a nice place, friendly staff, and I the mineral water with the cedar make my skin feel great, will recommend.

Kat Good

Nice place nestled in beautiful Manitou. I read some of these reviews before coming and was a bit scared...but I can assure you it is not filthy and no there is not some man trying to have sex. Whoever wrote that review had me scoping everyone out trying to find the perv. No pervs! Will be back :)

Sarah Conner

This place is so pretty, great location and the facility is so lovely. However, it just seems like the help there is never hardly any good. We were not greeted when walking in and after standing around for a moment, I walked up to someone at the front desk and said hello. The tubs were very bathwater at 94 degrees, and its winter season now so it felt a bit chilly. I can understand it might be difficult to heat the water up to compete with the cold - however, when we asked a staff member, about it, he told us that it takes a few hours to heat up and it just needs to be turned up. It was 8pm at this time, and if that was in fact the issue, then why weren't the tubs turned up when they opened? Some of the decorative lights were not turned on, a heat tower was not turned on, the mineral water tanks were empty and needed tilting to fill up a cup, and the plastic bubble covers were not being placed on top of the tubs to retain heat when not in use. I still like this place because there isn't another place quite like it, however, the staff here just seems not well trained or a bit helpless when it comes to making this place run smoothly and giving the customers a real spa experience. And frankly, at their reduced hours and increasing prices ($25 per person for 2 hours), its becoming less and less easier to enjoy.

Joe Reininger

I visit SunWater Spa at least twice a month. I find the staff to be friendly, welcoming, and appreciative of my patronage. The facilities are great-- tubs, pool, and saunas! And the surroundings are gorgeous; there is beauty everywhere, even in the bathrooms and changing areas! Those reviewers who have had difficulties getting in due to crowding might try mornings and early afternoons. That's when I go, and it's very quiet and peaceful then.

Danielle Davis

The facility is very nice, however the bathroom and changing area is very small. The staff is friendly and all the instructors are super friendly. I feel it's a bit pricey for the exercise classes and soaking though. But they do have a few donation-based classes. Overall a great contribution to the community and I'm so glad it's here.

Gregory Wagrowski

Wow! I rarely feel compelled to review anything unless it has something to do with golf, but this place really is a gem. The staff was very kind and professional. The views from the tubs are spectacular! I also received an amazing massage from a therapist named David who definitely had the gift of healing. Lovely experience all around. Can’t wait to come back and it might even improve my golf game!

Magically relaxing...

Laura Newton Ruff

My husband and I went in for the 2 hour late night soak after hiking all day, we arrived at 9pm they closed at 11. At 10:30 one the staff members informed us that they would be shutting down the place in 15 minutes. We decided spend those last 15 minutes in one of the tubs on the second floor when we realized that they had actually already shut down the entire place. I understand to the staff is ready to go home but this is my vacation and I paid to soak for two hours and we were rushed out after an hour and a half.

When I Say Amazing I Mean that to the Fullest Great Custom Service,Peaceful there is Heaven on Earth

tamara agee

Came in today for a selection of soaking, and NOW I read all the reviews, above and beyond true about how horrible the customer service is!!! Rite off the bat, I was i felt unwelcomed, and looked down upon!! Not sure how this place stays open with all the negative!! Yes it is a beautiful spot but when your very first impression is just negative it really puts you off! The 25 soak fee is a bit much! I only lasted 20 min or so then I gave up and left, the hottest pool claimed to be 105 but felt more like 98.... Over all a big disapointment!!!

Dresden Lemanski

Wonderful place to relax. Lots of different therapies to choose from. I personally love the sauna and saline plunge!

Lydia Brohm

Sweet spot for a soak. Beautiful and very clean facilities. Pricing is amazing. Worth spending a few hours soaking!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Scott Hedden

Super awesome spa to go relax and get in touch with one's self. It's got a very holistic (hippy) vibe, but it's great for all types of folkes. Massages are incredible, but pricey. If you want to save some cash, go for a 2-hr soak in their many mineral tubs and get your sweat on in the sauna. They've got military discount, local Manitou Springs discounts, and Colorado resident discounts. Don't skip this place if you're in the area!

Julie Jenkins

I assume people leaving good reviews have never been anywhere else. I’ve never left a bad review in my life but I went here for my birthday and it was the worst “hot spring” experience I’ve ever had. Staff was rude, couldn’t have been more unaccomodating and unpleasant. The wooden hot tubs are filled with lukewarm water. Sauna is small. Facility is easily crowded. Restrooms are tiny. If you’re looking for a hot spring experience, go anywhere but here.

Brooklyn M

I wish I could give it 0. I was completely disappointed with my visit. I paid good money for my fiancé and I to enjoy our visit and we were treated poorly. The receptionist was extremely rude and there was hardly any room for us to use the pools even over the course of 2 hours. Will not return nor recommend to anyone.

Lauriza Dishion

I love the value of paying for a 2 hour soak! That is the perfect amount of time. The setting is wonderful and the scenery is especially gorgeous in the winter when there is snow on the mountains and the steam rises from the tubs! The bathrooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Kelly Blaine

Called ahead and were told they were completely free and open for us to come in. No less than 20 minutes later we arrived. The girl at the reception desk gave us a dirty look and we said we wanted to soak. She said they are completely full and have a very long waiting list they don’t intend to get through...but she could add us to it if we want. Eyeroll. When we said we had just called and were told they were totally open she said they had a large party come in and fill all the tubs. We said no thanks and she gave us the snottiest smirk and just said ok. Myself and the person I was with are both plus sized and it was clear this is a skinny people only establishment. When we got outside you can see the tubs and there were maybe 5 people in them. Won’t ever go back or recommend to anyone.

Yvette Mayes

What an incredible experience!!! The 2 of us spent 2+ hours randomly soaking in various tubs & pools scattered around the roaming 3+ stories of what I would describe as a mountain retreat... And then we indulged in 1-hour couples massages. We spent just under $200 for an afternoon of much needed stress relief, relaxation and unwinding.

Kim D

Visited here and purchased a one hour private soak. The scenery was beautiful, the water temperature was perfect. I would probably come here again but there were a few things I really didn’t like. 1. My gosh the staff is rude. When I asked for a locker lock, the response I received was “collateral.” I replied with “I’m sorry?” The lady behind the desk said “we need collateral if you want to use a lock.” Okay, fine by me. 2. The women’s bathroom is so small. As soon as you walk in, you are surrounded by people changing (to include right inside the doorway). People in the hall (to include men) could easily see straight in there. 3. It was my first time here and when I was waiting for my husband, I noticed other “first time guests” were given free slippers to use. I wish we’d been offered those as we were barefoot and outside on a 30 degree day (in accordance with the spa rules).

Kim Gibson

SunWater Spa is my "happy place". Great Staff, beautiful yoga studios, great saline pool and the hottub soaking is amazing. The landscaping and views are beautiful and calming. I LOVE this place.

Jen H.

More of a yoga studio than spa. Soaks are on the pricey side but they have a good assortment of varying temperatures in the public tubs. Beautiful mountain views and small areas to lay out. Small shower and changing room. Same mineral water used here as the 7 Springs fountain right across the street. Highly recommend the private soak if you're willing to pay a bit more (for 2+ people); tucked away above the spa under a tarp.

Ainge Lin

My favorite place after the Incline! Convenient location just right across the free parking lot and bus stop! The facility is super attended, clean and the service is outstanding with great views!

Laila Alami

Beautiful and relaxing from the customer service to the hot tubs, indoor pool and jacuzzi. We are so happy Finally Manitou Springs has a beautiful spa to go to instead of driving all the time to Mt Princeton or Glenwood hot springs. My Husband, our daughter and I really really enjoyed it and loved it so much. We definitely be back more and more to enjoy it Thank you so much!!!

Della Shin

My parents went there, and totally loved this place.

Kasey Esclavon

Wish I read reviews before I came here!!! The one lady with black and green hair is sooo rude it’s sad!! Came in to get a 2 hour soak, asked what the difference was between the private and public soak was. She says” one is private and one is public”. So rude!! I wanted to know where the private one actually was. One hours come to an end and they told us our hour was up, we thought we had 2 hours as that’s what I asked for. Maybe the difference was an hour and the lady should have told us that!! Payed $70 for a 1 hour soak. Not worth it!!! There was a sauna and pool we only new about after we left, they didn’t even mention that. Such horrible attitudes and not to mention the bathrooms are very very small! Not spa like.

Christine Avellino

Had a wonderful experience here! Did the 2-hour soak pass in the mineral pools & received the Mountain Healer Massage. The facilities were clean & beautiful & the massage was amazing! Highly recommend!

Annie Moore

We showed up with 10 people and didn't feel we were putting them out at all. There are plenty of tubs to go around. The view from every level is fantastic!

Weezyyy Staub

First off I love this place, really is nice to relax, but when I asked front desk lady if it was busy I was told no to find out all tubs where full, I went back to the desk after finding out did not ask for a refund or anything but for them to be more imformatinal and front desk lady got very snappy.. not usually what I would expect from place such as this

Caleb Hunter

Beautiful Place. They have a really great yoga studio, and I loved my class. I also got a massage and soaked in the tubs/pool, it was a great experience.

Anthony Martinez

Springs are nice and really relaxing. Nice atmosphere. First time here and was informed by the receptionist when we got here that I get 60% off if it's within a week from my birthday and I did not know this until I got here and my birthday was on the 14th last week so I was three days away but because it was a week in 3 days they didn't want to give the discount even though it was our first time. Not really good customer service when you can't be a little lenient on your birthday policy. Would have given 5 Stars if discount was applied because it would have been over the top customer service to do that especially since I was with my wife for our first time out on our honeymoon. We even explain that it was our honeymoon and the cashier responded in a very uncaring way.

Attempted to go here and we arrived 15 mins early for them to tell us that we needed to wait until the half day opened at 4. We sat in our car and waited till 3:58 for them to tell us that they are full and we could get put on a list when people left. Why wouldn’t they offer this when we first walked in? A terrible first impression. WE WILL DEFINITELY NEVER ATEMPT TO COME BACK!!!!

Better than I could have imagined. Three floors, offering unique environments, temperatures, energies, etc. Everyone was extremely welcoming. I liked having more personal space as a first-timer and there are opportunities for that. The salt pool with the waterfalls is cosmic. Value is great.

Had a 90 minute Tree of Life massage with Cari and it was wonderful. The atmosphere is very relaxing and Cati was able to work out any tensions and soreness in my hips and neck. She does a wonderful massage and I highly recommend her. My prior experience with Delany was just as good but she is off traveling. Cheers.

A lot of businesses and organizations aim to totally capture the senses and instil a sense of complete relaxation and healing. The rare business, such as SunWater, actually manages to achieve this--and more! The staff, the guests, the ambience...all incredible.

Kirk Gilmore

Had a great experience at the Spa. Erick was very helpful and knowledgeable when answering my questions about the state of the spa water (Which was Awesome) and the business. I will def. be back.

Rachel and Devin are incredible LMTs. The mountain healer (deep tissue) is extremely relaxing and will get all your kinks out leaving you refreshed and rejuvenated. The homemade truffles and spring water at the massage's conclusion are a sweet way to wrap it up. SunWater is a great space and has good vibes. Go once a month for maintenance and to be in Manitou.

Staff was very rude! Not a friendly environment! All rules and stipulations are not listed! I will also be informing other military spouses of the let down I and my family experienced at this place. Not a mindful place nor peaceful as listed the ora is totally off. I give it an F+ SAVE YOUE MONEY DO NOT GO TRUST ME!!!

Great place to get away for a second and relax on quite a go go go vacation. Some of the tubs were out of order thus the 4.

I've been here on 3 separate occasions and finally have a fully formed opinion of this place. Pros: It is close by to the most densely populated areas in Colorado -- an easy day trip from Denver, not 3+ hours into the mountains. It is affordably priced. Manitou Springs is a really cute town to explore. Cons: The tubs are clean to varying degrees, sometimes it's fine, sometimes I've wondered what that thing floating in the water is. Every time I have come, there has been a large tub closed off for maintenance. There are 5 large tubs, and 2 smaller tubs, so it makes a big difference. There are classes in the pool/inside area which means that the area becomes an off-limits zone, removing about 1/3 of the facilities available, and this is not made clear at check-in. The temperature of the water is inconsistent and sometimes unpleasant on a cold day. Overall: If you're looking for a no-frills, affordable and convenient space to soak in some mineral spring water, then this is the place. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and "sacred" (their word) place to find stillness, I would go elsewhere.

First time in was yesterday definitely will come back beautiful views from the hot springs and relaxing environment

The staff, the location, the tubs, the saunas and the cold water plunge pools were amazing. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because a very loud group came in around 1pm. They went into the area that held the pools with cool water. There are signs posted everywhere saying it is a whisper zone, and to respect the people trying to relax. However, they were loud rambunctious and played in the pools like a group of 8 year olds at the ymca. I was disappointed, my friend and I wanted a relaxing quiet soak after a very stressful few months. It would be nice if there was more staff checking the soaking areas to make sure everyone is following the rules about being quiet so spa goers can relax. Why else would we pay $25 per person for 2 hours of relaxation? If I wanted to hear people talking loudly and playing with pool noodles I'd pay $10 for an all day pass and go swim at the ymca...

Free public parking is across from SunWater! Really great experience. The service we received was excellent! We ordered the private bath that had a really nice view. It wasn't as private in the sense where you're secluded, but that no one else could bother (or join) you. The staff was very nice and helpful. Don't forget the sauna! Also, check out Colorado City down the street. Loads to do there while walking.

Seems that the staff changes constantly the cleanliness is not kept up with the pools feel slimy and when I shut off the bubbles in the hot tub down stairs it was gross what ever was floating around in there I immediately got out and had to take a shower I go here often and this is by far the worst it's ever been seems like they should take a little bit more time and pay their staff better so that they can have consistency with the way things are ran and taking care of . It saddens me to write this review but this has happened before and once everything starts going well it seems like it always changes and they'll be a period of time that you can see when they're in between employees..!!Also the outside heaters can never go on I'm not sure why they're there when ever I have asked they say they are out a fluid but it's been 3 months now and they are still out a fluid .Very lovely place and I enjoy going there weekly but when the pools are slimy the way they are now I will have to take a break.

Stephanie Light

Add-ons can be a little pricey, but the overall experience is wonderful! Super relaxing and the staff is incredibly attentive. If you ever have a chance to do a package, they are well worth it. I purchased the Nirvana for a friend and I and our masseurs were wonderful too!

Molly Bridget Larson

I love this place. The staff has always been wonderful. The facility is well maintained. They take great care in making sure you have the best experience possible.

Annie Crouch

My husband I just visited this weekend and we could not have been happier. Lots of space for soaking, clean facilities, kind staff, and varying temperatures in the tubs. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Marc Levine

Visited this Amazing Spa with my family on our trip out west. From the Moment We walked up the spiral staircase painted sunset colors I knew we were in the right place. Kaity was warm and welcoming at the front desk and it was a perfect day from that point on. Just to add on more thingto this amazing review. We forgot an item we bought at the Spa’s store. After sending Kaity a message they mailed it to us. Above and beyond a wonderful Spa and Fantastc Staff

Damian Dominguez

Fabulous place. Great rate for the 8 hot tubs, hot pool area. Great views. Friendly staff

Kirsten Hibbs

Beautiful facility with warm and friendly people. Great relaxing way to spend a day.

Misstie D

Visited this spa last week while on vacation after a long day of walking and hiking. Was tired and ready to relax. I was greeted by a very nice gal (dont remember her name but she had long blue hair). I forgot my swimsuit. No problem. She found one that fit me. Showed me all around explaining everything. I was there alone and she came to see if I needed anything about halfway through my visit. The spa is beautiful and staff was amazing! Highly recommended!

Sagan Chaudoin

This place is fantastic. We soaked in one of the mineral tubs for an hour. I've never felt so rejuvenated. Friendly staff and very tranquil atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone!

Jared Z

This is a clean and beautiful facility with friendly staff and amazing views. Catherine Lee is an amazing massage therapist there whom I highly recommend.

Roger Butts

SunWater Spa has quickly become a favorite spot for my wife and me. We love the hot tubs. We love the spiritual atmosphere. We love the staff and the classes. It is above and beyond any expectations.

Allyson Buck

Loved every minute! I arrived early for my massage to take advantage of the soaking tubs. My massage and foot treatments were top notch. I highly recommend SunWater Spa!! I can't wait for my next treatments!

Visited a few days ago for the first time with a birthday party. The facility is clean and very relaxing, but the staff was only somewhat helpful. As they charged us for our daily services, a tour was offered of the facility but never happened after we paid. Other guests started to arrive and we were ignored. I asked one of the two receptionist up front about the tour since it was our first time and didn’t know where anything was located and they offered a tour? One of the receipts then came from behind the desk to the hall area where we were at and just pointed to where we would use locker rooms, showers, cold dipping pool that was closed to an upcoming class, exit to hot tubs and that was it! She didn’t show us around or anything as a tour was offered up front. Needless to say, we had to explore around on our own and find what we wanted to do. I feel the management needs to work with the staff on a more friendly and professional experience to offer and service their guest, don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Tiffany Martin Brown

Love this place. Staff are so helpful. Comfortable environment. Made my half-mommy day complete!!!

Colin Thomas

Great stop if you are just visiting quiet and nice thing to do on a cold day.

Amberly Campbell

Let me just say that I have changed my opinion of this place. After a horrible experience with them I was asked to come back & give them another chance. I'm glad I did bc I cannot wait to go again when there's snow on the mountains and get to see a view I've never seen before (I'm from the south). This pace really cares about their customers when they're happy or unhappy and take care of you in the end. Definitely a great place to relax and have a nice afternoon with friends and loved ones.

Dr. Leon

Very calm and relaxing. First comers get free towels to use and after that it's 3 bucks a towel I believe. The people there were very nice and greeted us and told us about the various temperatures of natural hot tubs and even the mineral pool that was a bit cooler. My girlfriend and I went at night so caught the last glimpse of the sun and the mountains. Very beautiful. Would recommend going here in the evening to get the cool weather coupled with the amazing view. This is also great after doing the infamous incline. Would definitely go here again when we come back.

Was treated to a spa day from family for my birthday. The massage with Sadi was wonderful but my facial with Debra was less than pleasant. The facial itself was about 15 minutes followed by a face mask that was left on for way too long and a terrible head massage that was one motion on the top of my head over and over. It felt rushed and was not enjoyable at all. She was not gentle with anything. 10/10 would not recommend.

Morgan Thomas

Tried calling them multiple times over a 30 minutes period and nobody picked up the phone, I kept getting an answering machine. I’m trying to book a big couples massage package for the weekend but obviously they don’t care about answering the phone to book potential customers trying to secure a reservation since they don’t have an online booking system. It’s a shame I was looking forward to a nice massage package with add ons.

Mark Perschel

We visited Colorado Springs just to soak in the vibes of SunWater Spa. The Staff was very accomodating and friendly. The tubs were between 99° and 105°. They were clean and refreshing... There are two periods to soak. Mornings and Afternoons. Check out the website for current times and costs. Free towels for your first visit. Beautiful sunset over the mountains if you visit the afternoon time.

Megan Phillips

I had the MOST amazing massage and INCREDIBLE yoga class when I was visiting Manitou Springs last week. Definitely would recommend this spa to anyone!

Brittnee Strachan

I had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and attentive. I had a massage from Heather and she was amazing. The decor is relaxing. There is a small parking lot at the building but more free spots in the lot across the street. Arrive early so you have time to park and get up the stairs.

Maria Brown

Very dissatisfied yesterday, spa tubs were not even warm, could not use the therapy pool because of a class. But wasn't told that upon paying. Did receive a refund just very dissatisfied...

Hailey Sprague

Went for the first time, and the experience was okay. We went on a somewhat rainy day, so most of the outside soaking was closed. That being said, while soaking inside a lady kicked us out for “private lessons”, which weren’t mentioned. Two of us paid $50 for one soaking tub and two saunas out of the whole spa. You’d hope they’d discount for limited space, if not tell you about it. Likely won’t return.

Kim Rizzo

The only place to get a true therapeutic quality massage! Ive used 10 therapist in the past 5 years, the three massages I've received at SunWater were excellent! Worth every penny! The atmosphere and soak tubs are another plus !! This is my goto now , highly recommend we support this business so it is successful!

Clayton Berger

SunWater is a perfect sanctuary to chill. The showers are clean, the pools warm and fresh, the building is circular and helps the flow of energy as you wander from pool to sauna to salt tank. You won't be disappointed! The staff is awesome especially Katie! Go and enjoy yourself! Basic Soak ~$25

Angela McDaneld

This was my first time at a spa and it was better than I imagined. Very relaxing and fun. My massage therapist (Lesley) was very attentive and professional. I'll definitely be back!

Jessica McKinney

This place is absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough. I had my bachelorette “getaway” here for a relaxing weekend with my gals. They rented us the cloud room for my bridal shower and even offered us a private yoga class to start the morning off! We spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying snacks (we brought) and relaxing in the tubs. Me and the hubs go here as much as we can (perfect for date night!) I would highly recommend it!

Thomas Osborn

Really nice location and friendly staff

R. Hudson

This place was amazing. Went with a friend, and soaked for a couple hours. We will definitely book a private soak next time, as this place is very busy and there are patrons everywhere! The bathrooms are gorgeous, and they provide toiletries if you have forgotten yours! Will be back for sure.

Heather Eisner

The facility was nice with beautiful views. The staff was a little weird, stand off-ish, and rocked culturally appropriated outfits.

Amy Johnson

The front desk staff was very warm, and welcoming. They were patient and helpful, taking the time to explain to me how the "soak" works and where I was supposed to go, etc.. Shout out to Andrea for helping me with a friendly, warm smile. A young man brought around cups with mineral waters to some of us soaking in the tubs. The place was beautiful, peaceful and I left feeling like a million bucks! I would definitely recommend it and will inquire if I can get gift certificates to give to people. What a great gift idea.

Lenore Bullinton

This place is so magic , we live in Denver but do our best to drive 1 hour and 40 minutes to be there as much as posdible. The staff excellent . I left my purse the last time I was there and I had some irreplaceable items in the bag. Because of my work schudule I couldn’t come for a week. When I picked up my bag everything was intact and perfect

Caitlin Jordan

I’d been having issues sleeping with shoulder and back pain these last few days and went in for the deep tissue massage and it was amazing. I couldn’t be happier leaving the SunWater Spa. Thanks Devin

Jennifer Jennifer

I absolutely love this place. When I used to live here I would go here to relax. This is my go to spot for a Brazilian wax!!!

Trish Kahlich

Oh! My! Gosh! Love! Love! Loved it!

christina wilson

Over priced. $25 per person for two hours for several hot tubs that temperatures vary by a couple degrees. They offer local discounts because the locals know it’s not worth the price. The sauna was nice though. The pool was closed off for a “private therapy class”, but no discount was offered to us for this inconvenience. Don’t waste your money, stay with the hot tub at the hotel.

Sterling Paul

How can you not want to bathe in the waters of Manitou? I enjoyed my time here and will return again. Nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Anne Palmerale

Such a great zen spot. I love the energy and beautiful surroundings. The locals are so lucky to have this little gem in manitou. I did Kat's yoga class. She's just so lovely. Thanks!

jerry quintana

My girlfriend and I love going to the hot springs. The only thing we are not fond of is the drive. Now when we don't feel like driving two hours we can go to sunwater spa and soak. Great place great views and the price is right and let's not forget the 15 minute drive.

Marsha Duran

My family and I went in July. They would not let us in because my son is too young. My son is a toddler and was taken to grandma. We went back and my daughter is seven-years-old. The first employee was gonna allowed us in but a second employee said no because my daughter is too short that she should be at least the height of the front desk. This white woman was just racist. She didn’t want us there. I guess we didn’t had the look of their usual customers. I was a tourist but never again, I will go back. Lost revenue, too bad.

Samantha Fasulo

I would describe my experience at Sun Water as nothing short of marvelous. The staff and facility were wonderful. Not to mention the breathtaking views! My friends and I visited as a surprise birthday outing. From the magnificent receptionist Abigail who was so helpful in booking multiple services for a group of 5 to the delightful estheticians and our liaison of sorts Nicole who was so patient rounding everyone up for their spa service appointments in the adjacent building. The soaking tubs, saunas, exterior lounging, and interior space are impressive. Overall I would say if you are looking to relax and unwind in a tranquil beautiful setting Sun Water Spa in Manitou is perfect!

j lender

The staff were awesome and the facilities are beautiful. My only complaint is that the water in the pools smelled a bit unpleasant. I would recommend trying a two hour pass for the casual visitor.
