My therapist Santiago was first off very professional. Right off the bat, he reminded me that he was here to make sure I was at the utmost pleased with my overall first session. He added he would be "quiet as a mouse, or I can talk your ear off, whichever you prefer". Usually I like a quiet massage, but instead we had a chance to bond as if we had been friends for life or something. He mentioned that he eats,sleeps and breathes massage therapy, and his passion was exemplified through his performance throughout the massage. If what looking for is someone to hit your sweet spot, And focus on where the problems you have lie, Santiago is your guy! Was a loooong time massage envy customer until i met Santiago and immediately haulted further massages with massage envy. I swear by the man. If you don't believe me, ask for home yourself.

They did a pretty good job. My friend and I went together, and both of us agreed that the massages were competent, but not stellar. The ambience was a bit off from what I've experienced at other massage locations - the light was a little too bright, the music a little too loud. To be fair, though, neither my friend not I asked for either to be corrected, so it's possible they can adjust the light/sound level to meet with your desire. I don't think I'd go again - for the same $80/hr, I can go to a nicer location and get pampered with essential oils, hot tea, and a beautiful seating area to relax in befor/afterwards, move of which were available/offered at this location.

The front desk lady was friendly but the massage paperwork was lacking, there was no place to put what your back problems were. Then when we went into the room the sheets were cold and the room was very cold. My masuse was nice but had unsteady hand he felt like he was worn out and shaky. We were then shorted by 15 minutes as our massage started at 10 after and ended at 5 to the hour.

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a calming atmosphere and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The front desk staff is wonderful and remembers your name and preferences. The one time I had a billing issue on my credit card (my fault, not theirs) they were quick to correct it. I highly recommend getting the membership because you'll want to come back again and again. All of their therapists are professional and easy to talk to. I have a neck issue and prefer not to roll over half way through the massage and every therapist has worked around this request. I can't say enough good things about Massage Green Spa on North Nevada. I have not been to their other locations, so my review is strictly of the North Nevada one.

I asked for someone who would be good for a specific injury I have due to running. The front desk ladies gave me the perfect therapist. It definitely wasn't a relaxing or soothing massage, but that's not what I needed. I already booked my next treatment and I'm confident with a few more massages, I'll be back to running pain free! I joined Mssage Green Spa because I had seen it before and then was referred by my nail salon. I went in for the introductory mass=age and had just a wonderful cranial-sacral and reflexology massage. I joined immediately and then let my massage time build up. I was very stressed one day and they had 90 minutes open so I did that with various massage techniques and a different person...It was just amazing and the atmosphere very relaxing! I was trying to save up time for a couples massage in the fireplace/waterfall room...but decided to go ahead and see if they had an opening for just me on short notice--they did! I had a wonderful massage with Jacob and it really helped my whole body feel relaxed and my circulation immediately improved. I will go there again and Jacob is great and uses just the right amount of pressure and really get into the muscles to relax.......best of all? I wasn't sore afterward or the next day...just RELAXED. I LOVE Massage Green Spa! And I still want that couple's massage too! SBD, Loyal member for about 6 months

I’m beyond frustrated with this place. Today, I was supposed to have a couples massage with my husband at 1. They had me down at noon. I would have never booked noon because my daughter had an ortho appointment at 11:00 which had been scheduled for months . When I tried to tell them this, they said there was nothing they could do even though there were 2 technicians who could skip their break to make it right. It was their mistake and they did nothing . If this was the first time, they had messed up my appointment time I would have grace . But this has happened 3 times with no offer to make it right. You have to book appointments weeks out to even get in. Trust me , go somewhere eles

My husband purchased 5 massages for me at 49.95 and got 1 free. I was told to use the free one first, which I did, and had 5 left, (I thought).I used two and a couple months went by and I had not used the remaining 3. When I tried to make an appointment for one of my three remaining massages, the receptionist aka assistant manager could not find me "in the system". I was previously told not to worry because I was "in the system" and I had 3 1/2 massages. I don't know what she had to do to find me, but she did call me back and said she "found me" and I could book my massage. I booked, and went for my massage. No complaint. When I left, I asked how many massages I had left, the receptionist in a very cold manner told me I had 39.95 left, and that is not enough for one massage, I asked what I had been charged for the massage I had just finished, and she said 59.95, there was a price increase, and my original contract for 49.95 had been negated (my words) and the price was now 59.95. I was not given any information about a price increase changing the product my husband had originally purchased. I am not accustomed to a company practicing "bait and switch" (which is illegal) so I requested the remainder of my money back because I would not return. Well, asst manager can't do that, so I asked for her supervisor, she can't do that either. I can only surmise that the owner of the franchise is in the witness protection plan because I have been unable to get their name. The saga continues: Massage Green Spa quit taking my calls (obviously recognized the phone number on my daily calls) requesting name and phone number of franchise owner. Today I received a “blank Massage Green Spa letterhead” with two $20.00 bills aka cash in it. Who does that ??? I can only assume that the owner of the franchise is ashamed of the way they treat clients, and does not want their identity revealed. BBB has no information on this franchise.

Called to make an appt. Was advised I needed to have a credit card or gift card in order to book an appointment. I've never been here before so it's not like I'm going to I have a gift card and I don't have a credit card where I can give it to them and I'm certainly not giving any debit card to anyone that I don't know over the phone. I thought this was kind of weird but when they explained it to me about people canceling appointments I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They first told me that I could schedule the appointment, but if someone else who has some sort of payment method to pay for their appointment in advance calls in ahead of me and actually pays, then I would get booted from my time slot. I said okay fine I agree to that it would be okay to set the appt. There's always a chance that maybe nobody would call in for my time slot and I would still have a chance to go in. I saw the good reviews and I wanted to give it a shot even though I wasn't really thrilled with their policy being that I'm a new customer and have not signed or review any paperwork yet. No other place has ever required full payment up front in advance to an appointment. What happens if someone gets sick? What do they do they're just not allowed to deal with the illness? I understand that they don't pay their employees for time that they can't do their massage so I guess it's whatever but that would encourage a customer to come in when they might have the flu or something because they won't get a refund. I as an employee would have a big problem with that because I would not want to massage someone with a known illness, and as a customer I would not want to pay for service I'm not going to get. It's like a lose-lose for both parties. Aside from being a little uncomfortable with the policy on both sides of the coin, I get a call today stating that the manager won't even let them make the appointment and even do what the original person said and told me that I could just go ahead and purchase a gift card or pay for my stuff in advance by stopping by. I'm not going to be making extra trips up north to do that. I live in Fountain that makes no sense. I will come up north when I'm up there but I'm not going to be sitting there making extra tips just to pay for something in advance that I have not yet received and I know nothing about this place. Simply because of the policies and me being a little bit uncomfortable them asking me to give personal info to someone I don't know and never met, and then getting the phone call that the managers not even willing to do the above which is to book the appointment, but to put someone else as priority who has a full payment in hand, I decided I'm not going to visit this place at all. It just leaves me with a very uncomfortable feeling that the customer could be easily taken advantage of.

Just needs a little more training. The lady before him was kinda rude. Her energy was off. Maybe just a bad day. But she didn't even great us when we were done. I took my husband for our anniversary. His therapist was very nice though. And every time I have been there before these last two times its been really great. The front desk is always friendly. I would recommend them.

I was very disappointed with my massage today. I arrived for my message and the font staff was okay, they got me all checked in and had me fill out some paperwork since it was my first time there. Then Dani (the message therapist) came and got me. Started out well, she asked me if I wanted a full body massage or just focus on one spot. I told her I would really like to just focus on my left shoulder, upper back and then do some full body work. She spend about 2 minutes on my back and used way to hard of pressure. She then worked a good amount on my arms. She pushed and squeezed so hard it hurt so bad. I kept trying to jerk my arm away from her and she told me to "just relax". How can I relax when you are hurting me!!! I could feel my hands going numb. She also kept trying to move my joints in odd directions. At one point I screamed out "ouch". She continued. I then said 30 seconds later, "That is really starting to hurt". She said nothing and just moved on with the massage. Once I turned over onto my back she went to go for my neck. I grabbed the back of my neck and said "no, I have a bad neck. I don't like people touching my neck". She said "okay" and continued massaging my shoulders and then up my neck. I even filled out on the sheet in the beginning to avoid my neck and lower back. She did not avoid either. She would also do this weird pulling and tucking thing constantly through the massage with the sheets. It was weird. After the massage she apologized for getting a little rough with me and tried to give me advice on how to not be so stiff. I left. Paid for the massage and did not tip her. Told the font desk that I probably would not be back. They apologized and said they would have the manager call me. All in all, I would not recommend this place. If you do come here I would not recommend Dani. She was not a good massage therapist. So much for a relaxing massage. I have heard this place calls people and offers them complimentary massages to try and get them to come back. If they call and offer that to me I will just tell them that I'd rather just have my money back. We will see what happens.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience today at Massage Green Spa was a first time client in real need of relaxation. My appointment was at ten for an hour massage. After greeting my massage therapist and getting ready for the massage, it was 10:20. The massage ended at 10:53. I got a 33 minute massage for the price of an hour. In addition to the total time rip off, I specified deep tissue and to focus on my neck/head and to include a scalp massage. He didn't even touch my head and I left with no greater relaxation then when I came it...it feel like a three year old rubbing my back. Finally, the advertised price is $29.95 for introductory customers. I had gotten a $50 gift card from a coworker and the woman charged me my full gift card amount $50 for a massage I was told would cost $29.95. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone....half the time you pay for, horrible massage, and the price changes based on pawnt method?! Stay away!!

We went in for a couples massage. The front desk clerk was rude, and gave little to no information about the massage or what we were supposed to be getting. The therapists were pleasant, but again they didn’t explain or ask what we wanted. We asked about hot stone massages, and they said that they didn’t do that, however it’s is clearly listed. I was not impressed with the lotions, and they do not offer any aromas. The room was freezing! The overall massage was excellent though, which was the goal. I will not be returning.

I have gotten massages in dozens of states and probably 50 different places. Liz is the best masseuse I have ever encountered. As an old ice hockey player who works on a laptop and hikes frequently, I fully expected to have back and neck discomfort most of the time for the rest of my life. I was referred to Massage Green Spa and was lucky enough to get Liz on my first visit. On this first one hour visit I was surprised how hard she could rub. She suggested that I come in for 2 hrs on my next visit so she could work deeper in my back and hips. Visit two, two hours later I felt like a new man. The last five days have been the best back comfort days I can remember. I will be back. Thank you Liz.

This is a good massage business, very clean and professional. They want you to join a membership program for reduced price massages, but that only pays for itself if you get 4 hours of massage a month. They have some good therapists, sorry, not going to say who my fav is, she's already TOO busy. Or maybe it's a he... Sorry, not tellin'
