Worst customer service if your trying to cancel your membership for moving out of state or just to CANCEL!!! To much details to write, but in short my service over the phone with Lex (Lexi) or even the manager that I stayed on hold for that never came on the line; then to just hear a dail tone. Plus emailing and calling corporate to debated the charge.. never spoke to anyone, but the front desk and still paid $59 after 3 months of thinking my membership was cancelled! Horrible treatment!!

First time coming here and it was a pleasant experience. My husband and I were greeted and asked to fill out paperwork about ourselves. First, I had a facial with Jade. She was nice, the facial felt amazing, she just didn’t talk much. Then when I was finished, my husband and I went for our couples massage. I don't know the names of the masseuses, but they were both very kind and talked a little more. This was my husband’s first massage, he was nervous at first but afterwards he was happy I made the appointment. Overall very happy with my visit. I’m excited to go back for more facials and massages.

I go monthly for a facial from Kayla. I always relax and enjoy my time there. It is very peaceful. I leave with my face looking great. I have rosacea, and she uses the calming routine on me. The reduction in redness is incredible. My husband uses the spa for twice-monthly massages. He has scar tissue from a poorly-healed shoulder surgery. The massage therapist he sees most often has been working to break up the tissue. His range of motion and pain have improved! <3 Hand and Stone!

I have had massages at several top spas/resorts around the world and truly none of them compared to the quality of service I received at Hand and Stone, Colorado Springs. As an army wife, I also love that the owner offers a special military pricing membership. I am already looking forward to my next service!

My massage was good, and maybe I am un aware of what is a buffer time for a massage but I was called back 5 after my appointment time and laid on the table at 3:08 and my massage ended at 3:54 when my husband got me an hour massage. I know it is only 15 minutes (ish) loss, but it was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Every month I get build again despite repeated attempts to cancel my membership and being assured my membership was terminated and I would be refunded for continued withdrawals from my account. Just got billed again...And every single time I call the manager is '"in a meeting' and will call me as soon as she gets out." Of course I don't get a call back. Got a coupon for a massage. Coupon said and hour. It was for 2 people. They could only do back to back appointments. It was my daughter and myself. We were about 8 minutes late to the first appointment because of the snow. My daughter's massage was under 50 minutes. Mine started at 10:15 and ended at 10:52. Really not even close to an hour. Anyway, needless to say, I won't be back. Maybe they don't know how to calculate time...? Picture of the hour long coupon is below. Response... that would be great! Thank you! My daughter was visiting at the time...is there anything you can do when she comes back out?

My friends booked an evening massage on July 10th. Ryan was really great. I was super nervous but he immediately made me feel very comfortable. He did a great job and I’m so happy to have had that experience. I don’t get regular massages but we were on vacation so why not?! A big thanks to Ryan! My first impression - WOW! WOW! WOW! This was the absolute BEST massage I’ve ever had! Carol is AMAZING!!! Being new to CO, I had no idea what to expect but I was thoroughly surprised! Carol was informative and cares about wellness. I would highly recommend her. I heard that everyone there is gifted at what they do and if Carol is any indication, it won’t matter who you get an appointment with, you’ll be in good hands.

Massage was ok, service was ok, and they charge WAY TOO MUCH outside of membership so they basically force you into it beyond your first time discounted massage. I probably would have given them a 4 but it's laughable that they think their ambiance and massages are worth $100 when the industry standard is $60. I would say the place is average so I would expect them to stick to average pricing. It is definitely not a spa environment so they don't deserve spa pricing.

Update: I have changed my 1 star review to a 4 star review. My second experience with a much better therapist was amazing. She didnt quite get my neck like I needed but the whole experience was great. The manager read my review below and immediately addressed my concerns in a friendly manner which is awesome. I don't expect perfection, but I love how this company made it right. The therapist I had took a long time to do the pre massage interview, then once the massage finally started he kept stopping the massage. There would be 5 to 7 minute breaks where the therapist wasn't even touching me. He kept stopping to do something else, it got really irritating. 5 minute massage, 5 minutes of nothing repeated for the whole hour. The therapist also talked about himself the entire time and would not be quiet. He said he is moving to California at the end of the year and thats all he could focus on. I believe his name was Ryan. I would never recommend him. His massage seemed okay when he actually bothered to put his hands on me. Terrible experience. But I like the location and I am willing to try someone else. My husband also got a massage (not from Ryan) and he said he loved the experience he received from his therapist. Hopefully this place trains or gets rid of that horrible therapist I had.

Hard to give places a bad review but this calls for it. This contract hasn't really worked out for me and my nursing schedule. I haven't found the right fit for me here but was still hopeful. Because of not using it like I wanted, I placed a 3 month hold, but they required you pay for one more month before placing that hold. Thought that was rude but didn't make a big deal about it. Life is complicated enough. I then called at the end of that hold to hold again so I could finally catch up or cancel. They informed me I had to pay for another to do that. I then decided to cancel. Businesses shouldn't behave like this but perhaps that's why these blocks are in place. I have always been a good patron in massage businesses but this didn't work out. They informed me that Id have to purchase another month before I was allowed to cancel. I'm amazed they get away with this. You must sign a cancellation letter and then they will bill you that last installation. You are able to transfer these sessions, but they charge your gift recipient or you an additional $10.00. Manager was snarky and unhelpful but end result is I honor my contracts though they don't deserve my business and wont get my recommendation. Now my only obstacles is I have to use these last sessions. Don't sign a contract is my advise. Other places of this nature aren't like this.

My husband got me a prenatal massage for my birthday. I called the clinic the day of because I was stuck in traffic and my GPS showed me arriving exactly at my appointment time. They assured me that the therapist had some wiggle room around the appointment time and that I wouldn’t be shorted on my appointment time. I arrived at 1 minute after my appointment time and was given paperwork to fill out. I got back to the room and was ready to go at 12 after. The therapist didn’t come in to the room until 21 after. The massage was good, but it only lasted 45 minutes!! After the massage the front desk went immediately into defensive mode explaining that an hour massage with them is actually only 50 minutes, but hey would you like to buy a membership? No thanks. Not worth it and I know that the therapist hardly see any of the $60.

It's not the best place I've ever been, but it's alright. Of course I'm used to Okinawan-style spa treatment, so I'm a bit spoiled. The front area was aesthetic and relaxing, and they offer complimentary tea (no sweetener I think). Staff was very friendly and welcoming, though I got the impression my masseuse was a bit inexperienced. She also asked me at the end if I'd like water or coconut water, which I declined as I was planning to go to dinner afterwards, and she responded by lecturing me on proper hydration, especially after a hot stone massage and repeated "So, water or coconut water?" basically forcing me. Can't say I appreciated it very much, kind of left a bad taste; not sure if that practice is business policy or just something my masseuse does, but regardless I'd advise against it. I wrote that issue on a customer comment card, along with a few other suggestions, such as providing a wet towel to wipe off oil after massage, dimming the lights a bit more, and toning down the heat of the hot stones a bit, maybe based off customer preference (the hot stones were a little too hot for me and kind of hurt my skin, but I didn't want to say anything and cause issues with my time limit or break the stride of my massage). Also, I wouldn't recommend getting the $10 aromatherapy add-on to your massage as I felt it wasn't really worth the money; just go buy a bottle of aromatherapy oil somewhere for a reasonable price and huff it as you please (that's essentially all the add-on is - them putting the oil in their hands and having you breathe it in lol). Other than these issues, I'd say it was acceptable and their facilities were pretty nice and clean. They do offer a decent membership deal involving a monthly subscription at a lower price than normal that allows you one massage or facial per month; it's at an even better rate for military members, and they freeze your subscription during TDYs and deployments. I'll probably try other places in the area first to see if I can find better quality, but currently this seems like one of the higher end spas of Colorado Springs.

When you go on you are greeted by a nice office staff that does not rush you checking in. Then you get to sit down and relax, with coconut water. When it is time for your message they respect your privacy and treat you with respect. I really love this place I took my wife and mother there. Will definitely be going back soon
