All in all great experiance. Some customer service flaws but the message was great, the facilitys are great, i enjoyed my time. Side note are first day as we got to the room not five minutes went by when we got a knock at the door, it was an employee, he asked if "we had a coldnwater nottle to trade and it was hot out. A bit strange but i am not one to let some one pass out om my watch so i gave him one of are two. Aside from that, and lack of cutomer service, the place was awsome.

A true hidden jewel! You feel like you've traveled to a far away European destination. So peaceful and relaxing. Worth rearranging your schedule to visit. Whether you are receiving a Massage, Facial, or Nail services; all are fabulous. They really go out of their way to make you feel special and pampered. When you schedule a Spa Service you have access to the Spa Pool for the entire length of the Spa Hours. So make an entire day of your experience. You will leave feeling like a new person!

It is a nice place but if you are not purchasing an extra spa treatment, then it has no point to pay extra only for the usage of pool. Still, if you prefer silence or reserve a cabana for a special group, you may go for it.

The room and the bathroom were very old. One night there was not water to flush the toilet and it took three hours for the person to come and fix the issue. I asked the hotel if given the inconvenience, I could have a late check out and I had a negative answer. Not good service. Although my experience in the hotel has been not good, I really recommend the spa

The spa area is beautiful, lovely private spa pool, and private dining area. The grounds are beautifully manicured. It was a relaxing spa day with very good facials and massage.

Such a great afternoon at the RBINN! This place is really cool and very relaxing! Pretty cool check in area. They check you in and then you go down to your locker room to get in your robes. There is a chill room with little snacks and good tasting water. The massage was really nice my lady was super good at using lots of pressure since that's what I asked for. The lady was really nice and very attentive and made me feel great! We did the indoor couples massage and It was a great day date for my fiancée and I. Just a couple tips get the package that includes lunch, and a drink down at the pool the food was great we did the shrimp tacos and the chicken sandwich. Both are really good. The pool was great and super refreshing bring your bathing suit!

I was so fortunate to enjoy 2 spa days at Rancho Bernardo Inn. It was an amazing experience! I had a wonderful facial by Sherry (amazing) and enjoyed the spa pool, outdoor jacuzzi, indoor steam room and jacuzzi and shopping in their boutique. Angie, the Guest Service Manager is extremely gracious and delightful. I cannot recommend the spa more highly! If you book a reservation with Rancho Bernardo....you absolutely must treat yourself to a spa experience! I hope to visit again; sooner rather than later!

Not so friendly on the phone :( I have called on several occasions to try to obtain a missing receipt. I have been sent to wrong numbers, spoken to rudely, and been left on hold indefinitely (finally gave up after 10 mins). Another attempt at calling got me a voicemail box, but I never received a call back, in spite of having left all of my call back information.

Spent a Tuesday at the spa and it was the highlight of my weeklong vacation!! Initial booking was a breeze with Cheryl, and upon arrival we were greeted by the manager Arlene, and receptionist Elizabeth, who were very accommodating!! The Rancho Bernardo Inn is a hidden oasis among residential Rancho Bernardo and the spa is quaint, relaxing and has an absolutely relaxing environment!! Loved the outside pool and Jacuzzi with waterfall. I only used the spa facilities for the day, but next time I'm booking a facial!! If you need some major R & R this is the place for you!!

Excellent place to relax and unwind. It's a beautiful place with access to sauna, jacuzzi and salt water pool. The services are good and the spa is overall a great place to just relax. It's not the biggest spa around though but it's cozy and charming in its own way.

Went for my boyfriend's 21st. We had outdoor massages and had lunch by the poolside. Overall wonderful experience. The pool was perfect temperature and the steam rooms were very relaxing.

Really noiice spa. Hidden but a great little area. Very welcoming. Food is okay not worth what you pay for. Outside jacuzzi is filthy, but maybe it was early so nobody cleaned it yet. Spa services and amenities are nice. Recommend trying it out to see if you like. A bit pricey but you pay for the amenities.

Spent yesterday at the Spa with 4 friends in celebration of a birthday. We wanted to treat the birthday girl, a hard-working mama, to a day of relaxation and luxury. Unfortunately, a particular instance of poor communication and inadequate service kinda put a damper on our day. The good: We booked massage/facial/lunch packages, and started out our day with amazing treatments (facials, massage, & a manicure). All of our services and the lovely people who took care of us were wonderful. If this review were on the treatment alone, it would have been five stars, but... The bad: In a euforia after our treatments, we headed to the pool to continue lounging and eager for a bite to eat. We placed our lunch order with the bartender/server and continued to enjoy each others company. It was a Sunday about midday and the pool area was not too busy, yet after a half hour the food had not come out yet. When the server brought us a round of drinks she mentioned it should be up any minute. The ugly: After another 30 minutes, I walked over to the bar to let her know an ENTIRE HOUR had passed since we ordered our food. She let me know that they share the kitchen with the restaurant, and were running a bit behind that day. After another 20 minutes, the food finally came out, yet after all that waiting what we were served was COLD, SOGGY, and had probably been sitting for who knows how long. We asked to speak to a manager, who apologized for the wait and offered to remake the food, but we were hungry and grumpy at that point, and needed to get going shortly. They did remove the cost of the food from our bill, but I think after such a negative experience where most of our day was spent waiting for cold lunch, simply not charging for sub-par food was bare minimum. 3 of us work or have worked in hospitality, and are very understanding of delays. But there was really no effort made to communicate with us, and no small gestures of consideration made as a result of the delay. Maybe only regulars and specific guests are deserving of the impeccable standard of service and quality this place is supposedly renowned for. I wouldn’t waste my time or money here again, despite the excellent treatments.
