My first massage with Natasha was about a week ago, and it was the first of many to come! I have some issues with sciatica, as well as some long-ago muscle injuries, and she knew how to deal with everything. The massage was not only relaxing, it was therapeutic! I've have a LOT of massages in my lifetime, and Natasha is one of the best I've experienced. Her space is inviting and calming, and I love the bio-mat. I plan on signing up for her "massage junkie" program... such a deal!

SLOCO Massage is absolutely amazing! I've only had massages by Natasha, but she is definitely a master of her craft. I sit at a desk 8 hours a day and always come in kinked and knotted. But, when I leave, I'm absolutely floating on a cloud! I even got my dad a massage (who was not so keen on massages beforehand) and told me later that he really enjoyed his experience and it really helped his back and hips.

This was my first experience having a professional massage and I went into it shy but looking forward to the exposure. I had heard mixed messages from other experiences (with massage in general) and I did not know what to expect. The overall experience was true to the ideal massage; it was soothing, comfortable, and cozy. I felt relaxed mainly from the ambiance that was created by the presence of Natasha, but also by the surroundings. The massage itself was real and crafted. I kept thinking to myself, "what a ninja". The movement of her hands/arms were swift and choreographed. Natasha has a real gift to massage. The massage displaced me into a great state, and I'm already planning my next visit.

Love SLOCO!!! I really benefited from a 10 visit detox using the biomat and the foot detox. All I can say is simply amazing! I also highly recommend Lynsey for massage, Amber for a so soothing facial, and do try the NONI Hawaiian fruit leather!

I am a weekly-regular at SLOCO Massage. I have been getting weekly massage since 2004 after a serious auto accident. This is by far the best massage studio in SLO and all of the workers are superior. The benefits that I have received from weekly massage is incredible! I will be 70 next year, and I FEEL like I am in my 50's. Due to my regular massage I am able to walk every morning, and maintain a very active lifestyle. This COULD be the Fountain of Youth!

Natasha goes out of her way to accommodate my schedule difficulties, always finding an appointment that is convenient for me. The Wellness Program is perfect for busy people. I love this place. Everything about the business has a thoughtfulness to it that communicates positive intent at every turn. This is my go-to spot in SLO for waxing. The rooms and extremely clean and peaceful, and their staff is absolutely wonderful. I'm always greeted with a smile and treated kindly throughout my whole stay. Even though waxing is a much less calming procedure than massages--which they're know for--I still leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. And their prices are very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend this spot over any other place for waxing in SLO.

Absolutely love this place! My mom and I got a couples massage and we both almost fell asleep. Our massage was so relaxing. Once you're done, your masseuse goes over your massage with you, which I loved. All of the ladies that work here are so friendly and welcoming!! Next time I'm up in SLO I am for sure stopping here (: This place rocks!

The atmosphere at SLOCO Massage & Wellness Spa is lovely and relaxing. The people are so warm and accommodating. I have monthly massages that are really customized to what I need that day and I always leave feel refreshed and relaxed. I have also tried the Bio Mat which was a surprisingly positive experience for me. I have a hard time sitting still but it was so relaxing and comfortable I didn't want it to end. I have also been doing the Ion Cleanse which has been super interesting experience. I love the idea of detox and this has been a rewarding and simple way to accomplish a detox where I could see the results right away. So happy that SLOCO Massage & Wellness Spa opened in my neighborhood!

The experience of SLOCO Massage & Wellness Spa was wonderful. The receptionist greeted me with tea and water, and was very nice. The only thing reason why I didn't give this place a 5 star was because I wish I got more of a deep tissue massage. The swedish massage was great, but I had a huge knot on my back that the masseur could not get out. She advised me to put a tennis ball on the wall to take out the knot, but the reason for my appointment was to reduce tension in my back. Other than that, this is a wonderful place.

I was able to get in with just a few days notice, which isn't easy in the downtown SLO area. I also found it really cool that you can choose which type of music that you would like to her. I came in for a deep tissue massage that focused on my hamstrings, and made sure to say this again to my masseuse. However, I didn't feel as if there was enough applied pressure, or time spent on them. The admin staff was great.

The ambiance here is truly relaxing. I love the cork floors and the eco-friendly restrooms. I had an 80-minute massage with Chris, who is one of the most thoughtful, in-tune massage therapists I have visited. I have since purchased gift certificates for family members to have massages here!

First class experience! I had a 90 minute massage that was SOOOOO good! The massage therapist, Nick, applied plenty of pressure to provide deep relaxation, but never over did the pressure. I can highly recommend him. Next time I am in the area I will be making an appointment again!

Best facial I have ever had!! Aiyani was so friendly and she talked through everything she was doing and what the benefits were. She always checked in to make sure I was enjoying the whole process. It was so personalized and she made recommendations on what I could do to improve my skin. She was very helpful, friendly, and personable! I felt so relaxed and there was absolutely no rush. She also waxed my eyebrows as a last minute request from me. When I asked if that was possible to add on, she said not a problem and I could tell she meant it. It was also the best eyebrow waxing I had had, it was a chocolate wax and it smelled like tootsie rolls! The receptionist was also very friendly and soothing, she offered water upon entry and was very sweet. Before starting the facial I was able to pick my own music for the background. Overall the people are so incredibly friendly, the whole experience from the moment I walked in the door was relaxing. Thank you SLOCO Massage, I highly recommend this place for a spa day!!

I have been to SLOCO Massage & Wellness Spa twice, and am on my way this week to visit for a third time. Although I have not been someone who is confident with getting massages, my husband thought I needed one and gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. When I finally redeemed the certificate, the experience was so warm and caring that my usual awkwardness melted away. Catherine researched my condition (which includes hypermobility and ridiculously sensitive skin) and truly helped the areas that needed work without creating problems; I have moderate to severe chronic joint pain, but each time I have had a massage I have left pain-free (what's that about?) and stayed that way for a couple days. That is unbelievable in and of itself, but it gets better -- now that I know what "good" is supposed to feel like, I can better care for myself between visits. The experience is body-positive, modesty-preserving, totally comfortable, and relaxing. I think it is fun to pick my own soundtrack, and feel supported, cared about, and respected at every moment. I practically had to be pushed in the first time -- now, trust me, they could not keep me away.

My experience with SLOCO Massage was really great. I purchased a special package thru TravelZoo, and it was a great experience indeed. I had the 60 minute massage and a 1/2 hr. scrub massage with hot towels. I enjoyed the scrub as much as the massage. It was a great, invigorating experience, and would recommend to anyone that needs a treat or treatment of lower back pain or other areas of need on your body. It was a great experience.

I found Natasha through a TravelZoo local deal for the Central Coast. I was looking for a new massage therapist, and that deal finally gave me the motivation to make an appointment. I'm so glad I found Natasha, because the first massage session I had with her was so relaxing, I signed up for a 6-month "massage junkie" deal that she offers. What I most appreciate about Natasha was the ability to have comfortable silence during much of the massage (I've found some massage therapists prefer to chat, but personally I like to just focus in on breathing and being, not talking). I also appreciated the low-volume classical guitar / piano music in the background, as opposed to artificial "relaxation" music or recorded natural soundscapes. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a great stay @ the health spa. The location is very easy to find and It's a nice short walk from the main street. They received us with two glasses of Kambucha tea to start detoxing, delicious! The apartment is really spacious and clean and they really care about maintaining a chemical free environment which we really appreciate. The BED is just amazing, we had never heard of an Orgone bed before and we were really excited to try it, it is made of Amethyst crystals and it's warm, comfy, and an experience on itself. Clean, professional, and great service! Mike really knows what he's doing. The owner is helpful and friendly, as are the staff, and they go out of their way to make sure that your experience is good. I purchased an hour-long massage for my girlfriend and I, but they mistakenly thought we were late and ended up only doing 45 minutes. However, as soon as they realized their mistake, they apologized, immediately corrected it, and also gave us a free 40 minute infrared sauna session to make it up to us. A little pricier than other places around here, but the quality, service, and care goes above and beyond. Will definitely be coming back!

I took the wife here for our anniversary. It was my first professional massage and we REALLY enjoyed it! The sauna is super cool and extremely relaxing, they give you chocolates, calming water, etc. The place is very well decorated and I highly recommend setting up an appointment!

My first visit to SLO when I was interviewing for a job and I had decided I needed a massage because I felt a little stiff from the long drive. I got lined up with one of the male massage therapists when I called that same afternoon. I think he was a fairly new practitioner. It wasn't a bad massage, but it wasn't amazing either. I remember that it did help relieve my discomfort to where I felt I could face the return drive later that day. Again since he was fairly new, his schedule wasn't booked up and I got in the same day, which since then I have discovered is pretty much not the case with any of the more experience therapists. I really liked the studio/office. There are some products available and a nice reception area. It's a very modern decor. I may have to venture back sometime and book with someone that's been around longer. That would probably increase my rating accordingly.
