So relaxing - Cedar enzyme bath

Laurie, my massage therapist, was fantastic. I had 75 min of shiatsu - I find shiatsu harder to find in the Bay Area. It was perfect. Although the gardens are beautiful, I wish the spa had more amenities to enjoy. Waiting areas were very small.

Alan Vietze

This was such a new and wonderful experience for me. I will be returning and also be buying gift certificates for my family members. Your staff were so cordial and sensitive and the place is beautiful....I am still "absorbing" the enzyme bath as a fact. And the massage by Kumi is memorable

This is paradise on earth, you want to relax, reconnect, unwind, have a piece of mind, this is the place to go, an unbelievable relaxation place, is a hidden gem, love that I was invited to enjoy it.

Janice was amazing!

My wife and I did Pagoda and sports massages, respectively. They were great. The atmosphere is wonderful and the Meditation garden is delightful. We have visited often and are always think we should increase the frequency of our trips to Freestone. Highly recommended.

Tom Eddington

There is no place like Osmosis. Incredible setting, terrific people and amazing experience.

I went to Osmosis a few months ago for the first time in a few years and it is Heaven. The place has expanded to include your balancing after the baths in a hammock listening to the creek, watching birds and being peacefully rocked by gravity. The meditation garden is sublime. It is a day that replenishes your body and your Spirit. Bless those who created it and now nurture and expand it with such gentle clear hands and intentions. sara

I finally made it to the Osmosis Day Spa after living in the area for 37 years and hearing wonderful reviews from my friends. I don't know what took me so long and now, I will be visiting on a regular basis. Everyone was wonderful, from reception to tea service, the osmosis treatment attendant, and finally my massage therapist. I felt welcome and pampered in a down-to-earth and sincere manner. The facility is serene, relaxing, and country rustic with a Japanese influence in decorum. The Japanese meditation garden is spectacular and lovingly well-cared for. I highly recommend the Osmosis Day Spa, it's a one of kind place to unwind and heal!

Will surely get back here. Highly recommended for everyone.

Relaxing place

Angie Carrillo

This is the worst place to go for a massage and "bath". We went to the couples massage. The "bath" was smelly, it is not a bath, it's a compost with dirt that they never change. We got very nosy staff that wouldn't even left for you to take off your clothes and stay there the whole time watching you getting undress. The worse spa I've ever visited with the most disgusting smell.

Lynnette Sass

For a wonderfully zen experience and fully relaxing time I have been going for 20 years Worth every penny.

Kim Cruise

Absolutely worth the drive out! This place is such a beautiful get away. The cedar baths we're so healing and the massage was the best I've ever had! I'll be back!

Irina Fedulow

This is my favorite spa to go to! It is beautiful and calming and the staff is wonderful. I love getting facials from Michaela; she is thoughtful and very knowledgeable.

Almost everything about this place was perfect. The location, the design, the cedar enzyme bath was on of the coolest and most relaxing things I've experienced. The massage was incredible. But the lunch was really an odd thing. I paid 20$ for the vegan lunch which was actually just different types of lettuce leaves with some dressing on the side and nothing else. Would highly recommend, just don't get the vegan lunch!

Elaine Sohier-Gayler

I always have a wonderful experience at Osmosis: great massage, great people, beautiful and peaceful environment.

This is an amazing place for spa treatments. The healing atmosphere and wonderful staff and quality products give you the best bang for your buck. My favorite place for facials, massages and special events, such as the winter Solstice ceremony.

Misty Zelk

I always enjoy visiting Osmosis for a relaxing massage with Crystal. Joining the club was a great idea. It’s great to have a discount and a routine to return each month.

Heather Paradis

The treatments were great but the facilities were dated and there was not a central area to wait between treatments. It was a rainy day when we were there but the check in person could have been more welcoming and accommodating given the weather.

Osmosis Day Spa is a wonderful and tranquil place. I feel awesome every time I experience the treatments. Sure, the music at the end is a little funny with the synthesizers panning back and forth in your headphones and what not, but you just can't beat the amazing cedar enzyme bath. It does incredible things to you. I always feel great going out there. The attendents have always been kind and attentive. They have that yummy tea (which we had to buy a tin of cause it is so good). Also, the food was quite good when we tried it, though you should definitely try the scones across the street at that bakery. Stellar scones. Osmosis plus fresh baked sweet and savory scones....Winning combination! Osmosis is rad, do it!!!

Osmosis is 'my' very special place! I've been coming for years; it started out as a special treat for birthdays, anniversaries, to celebrate with friends and family, once or twice a year! Each time at the end I would vow to come more often, because of the deep and wonderful experience I would have. Finally, a couple of years ago I did it! I started coming once a month and I do look forward to my monthly visits! The experience from beginning to end is transforming; from the moment you park and enter the lobby to be checked in you feel the love and hospitality from the entire staff. The feeling becomes infectious even among other patrons. All the Massage Therapists are warm and friendly and helpful as you pass them in the hallways; then of course, your very own therapist comes to greet you and escort you to your room and proceeds to do everything to make sure you're comfortable! Afterwards I continue the incredible experience by relaxing somewhere on the beautiful grounds, before finally getting into my car and returning to earth!

I love Osmosis. It's a "must visit" when I'm in Sonoma County. Since I live in New York City, I mostly dream about going back to Osmosis. It is truly a special place.

Susan Brown

Incredible, tranquil environment. Best facial I have ever had! Robin is the best!

Laura Revenko

Very relaxing experience. I’m not a fan of mud baths and was leery of the enzyme bath. I really enjoyed it- very relaxing, less stuff on you afterwards and muscles were loose for the fantastic deep tissue massage afterwards. Trevor spent time undoing the effects of time spent at a desk. Beautiful zen garden and attentive staff.

Rebecca Ferris

I treated myself to a day spa experience by going to Osmosis. It was a very nice experience. The cedar bath was wonderful and I felt the results throughout my body for a couple weeks after. The facial was nice and the service was wonderful. The gardens were beautiful. I loved walking through them and exploring the nature on the property. The tea room I could have stayed in there for an hour.. I was not trilled with my massage. I get them every 2 weeks at home and I expected something at the level of the rest of the spa. Finishing my day with the hammock and the beautiful music was lovely. I will be returning and bring some girlfriends. I wish I lived closer to come more often. Thank you Osmosis staff.

Terrence White

Love this place soooo relaxing

Hannah Germaine

Loved it - Very welcoming, in a beautiful setting and enjoyed the wood bath as it was so different. My only grumble was we ordered lunch and as I don't eat anything from animals my vegan lunch was disappointing. It was mostly a bowl of salad leaves. I would have really appreciated something like some baked tofu in place of the fish that came with the ordinary lunch. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Laurie Smith

Very quiet and peaceful!

Steve G

Serene and pleasant place.

Rhona Post

Every once in awhile you encounter a wonderful soothing spa experience. If there was an Osmosis here in Sarasota, I'd go monthly or more often. The cedar chip hot bath is worth every penny you'll spend. Service is great. The price is right. And there is only one Osmosis cedar chip bed in the nation.

Marcia Edelen

A wonderfully relaxing place with friendly, low-key professionals as the masseuses and at the front desk.

Enomwoyi Booker

Very nice, tranquil spot! Have yet to plan enough in advance for spa treatment. Good drive from Vallejo.

Stephanie Miller

The aroma as you enter the spa was a bit overwhelming for me. I'm not sure I would return do to it but my massage was very nice and relaxing.

Stacie Vilendrer

Incorporated Osmosis into a part of a women's retreat here and they took great care of us! Thank you.

They came and volunteered there time at a fire camp for firefighters that were working the Santa Rosa fires. Best experience I've ever had on a rest day from a fire. Recommend 100%. And to all the others that came out to help all the firefighters relax and recover on our days off.

Niccole Springs

One of my absolute favorite spas with one of the most serene and beautiful gardens. The cedar bath experience is healing and detoxifying. This was my first time having a massage and found the therapist healing and focused on my overall well being. I cannot wait to go back again.

Melanie Stone

Thank you Megan, you were the perfect attendant! I felt very well taken care of!!!

Ashley G

Dieder not only provided a skilled technical massage, but also a safe space for me to emotionally release some recent trauma. He is an angel, a godsend, and a phenomenal masseuse. As a former masseuse myself, I left thinking, "did I just luck out with a massage celebrity?" I come to Occidental once a year for a family reunion and I pray he will be there again when I return. The trip to Osmosis ended with a slow saunter to the meditation pond with my mother, and we shared a precious moment in the midst of some fluttering red dragonflies that I will cherish for the rest of my days. Thanks and blessings to Dieder and to Osmosis for a profound physical and mental healing.

Debra Marzak

A beautiful and very peaceful setting welcomed us to Osmosis. We received friendly service and were never rushed. Water, tea, fruit and nuts were available in several areas along with comfy chairs in the garden. Our Cedar Enzyme bath was amazing and intense. We loved it, and appreciated cold towels and sips of water that Lauran brought every few minutes. The massage that followed was wonderful, with excellent therapists, scented oils, and a lovely setting - we opted for the pagodas. One of the best ever afternoons of care and indulgence I could imagine. And save a few minutes to shop for unique gifts, books and jewelry!

Jay Masunaga

Osmosis is amazing. The location is beautiful. The staff are super friendly. And the service is superb. My best recommendation is to take your time and enjoy the space if you can.

Nice and peaceful location; great staff and pretty good experience.

Lori Decker

Beautiful setting, skilled staff and clean facility keeps us coming back. We love going for the baths. We leave feeling detoxed and rejuvenated. We have never been disappointed, There is no other spa you can to visit that compares to the experience at Osmosis.

Oasis offers something different in the Cedar bath. The heat from it and the effect are very different from a traditional sauna experience. Our deep tissue message was relaxing but left us wanting more of the “deep tissue” release we were looking to experience. Both individuals were very nice. The Japanese Garden is very pleasent, relaxing, and beautiful. Definately a unique quality of the property. My only major issues were with the shower room used after the cedar bath. It needs to renovated and better cared for. I was not comfortable with what I saw. Otherwise a pleasent experience.

Molly Arnott

I was wound tight and needed to disconnect from work for a few hours and this was perfect! Vince was my massage therapist and it was hands down the best massage I've had!

Jennifer Lyson

Robin Z is a treasure. I have been looking for a good estitician for a long time. Who knew she was 15 min from home. I was blissed out.

Courtney Schmidt-Anderson

We had a simply lovely experience at the Osmosis Day Spa. With my five other friends, we did a group package. The email communication with the staff setting up the appointment was prompt and helpful. All the staff on site were very pleasant and helpful. We did the foot soak in the cedar enzyme treatment and that was very fun though I'm not sure I could do a full body treatment as it was very warm! Some of the group did massages and some did facials. Everyone was very pleased with their spa experience. The gardens in the back are just beautiful. I wish it was a nicer day for us to sit outside and enjoy. I would definitely recommend this spa for a girls trip experience.

Marie Domeny

I had a great experience at Osmosis Spa. I found the Cedar Enzyme bath invigorating and had one of the best massages of my life. I'm buying a membership.

Thomas Nielsen

Very friendly staff and outstanding massages!

This visit was wonderful. The enzyme bath was nice and hot. The new mitts to brush the bath residue off are nice. They are more effective and more gentle. My massage was excellent.

ONLY wished we lived closer as we only go every 4-6 years from Las Vegas to DESTRESS and get our kinks massaged out as we enjoy the Cedar enzyme bath.

Julius jervoso

Great place to unwind and get away from it all. I do appreciate the way that all the guests are moved around with minimal interaction so you really focus on you. Being naked under a robe is public is still not something I am comfortable with but at the end of the day.

Amanda Parks

“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't as individuals.” – Jean Vanier Osmosis came through big time for 3 local animal rescues which allowed us to make over $15k for the animals in our community. Without their benevolence that wouldn't have been possible. If you care about a strong community and the people who build up and support other community members than you should support and use Osmosis Day Spa. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being our hero. I know which spa I am picking for my next pampering session.

Joel Palmer

The cedar enzyme bath is a unique and fantastic experience. We've done a couple of different packages here (one with aural therapy following the enzyme bath and one with a massage) and have loved it all. We're still waiting for an opportunity to spend more time on the grounds and enjoy all they have to offer.

Great staff inside and out. Groundskeeper does a perfect contribution to create a peaceful environment.

Although it took some getting to, once there the location was just lovely and very relaxing. The whole vibe is extremely tranquil, and the staff so helpful and sweet. I was hoping for some healing, and really felt like I received it from the cedar immersion. This is a very unique treatment, which I have neither experienced nor heard of any place else--it is quite wonderful.

My wife and I went here as part of our anniversary trip to the coast and got the "long lunch" package, which included 75min massage, 30 min "sound therapy", and a lunch. Our massage therapists were very good, but the rest was a bit of a disappointment. We kept having to come up to the main office area to wait and then be escourted to our next appointment. I can't seem to muster up the perspective to say anything positive about the "sound therapy". Laying on hammocks for 30 min and listening to "Enya" type music with wave sounds and another droning background tone. It's just feels weird to be on the coast and listen to pre-recorded wave-sounds. But the last straw that made us go away feeling we didn't want to come back was the lunch. The grounds and amenities are otherwise pretty high quality and harmonious, but the lunch was a pre-made meal that was plucked fresh from the fridge and placed on our table in plastic containers. I eat very wholesomely and actually make dishes similar to the one we were served, but the salad was completely dry and the fritata was refridgerator temperature. Tortilla espanola is okay to serve room temperature, but a fritata should never be served completely cold, IMO. Bottom line: This place seems to lack vision and leadership. If it wasn't for the excellent massage therapists, I'd give it one star.

Edward Gibbons

Smelled like old dirty socks and over ripe cheese. The enzime were rank. No parking available. Abrupt bath attendant. Messed up my order. Need same info 3 times.

Tim Moore

Fabulous but pricey.

Ken Berry

Loved it! Cedar bath and couples massage for our anniversary. We'll be back BEFORE our next anniversary.

I've been refreshed and rejuvenated at Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary for many years; going alone, with a friend, plus taking two groups for pampering and pleasure. The serenity of the superbly maintained meditation garden calms me almost immediately. Several forms of massage are offered by seasoned practitioners. I especially enjoyed the seaweed moisturizing body treatment with foot scrub and deep tissue massage, a delightful treat. Friendly accommodating staff provide the highest customer service. Recent upgrades; new robes and lockers, the enclosed front patio and lounge, plus hammocks during warmer seasons and healthy lunches served outdoors with a view of the river enhance the relaxing, revitalizing pampering experience...one that I always enjoy!

Jacqueline Young

This place is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and the facility is very relaxing.

Great gardens. Quality massage. Expensive!

A perfect spa get-away in some beautiful Sonoma countryside, this great old building is surrounded by meticulously arranged Japanese gardens, fountains and sculpture. My shoulders start detaching from my ears and moving downward on arrival. Most packages start with sitting in a private tea room overlooking the gardens and drinking enyzyme tea (to help purify the bod), then a warm relaxing time in the cedar baths (it's like a mud bath but much cleaner / very soft cedar flakes - and smells divine), followed by a massage. Prepare to become a noodle. The staff is very gracious and attentive, and the facilities homey but perfectly clean. I recommend carving out enough time to enjoy the gardens and even eat a meal here, as your urge to rush around will dissipate. The gift shop at the entry area is full of tempting and lovely things too, from tea to wind chimes to little Buddhas to elegant wraps and scarves.

Sarah Buhre

Five of us went for 50 minute massages. Afterward we compared notes and the others got a very different experience. Chalk it up to individual therapist styles but it was unsatisfying, even thought I was relaxed afterward. The hammock field is lovely and the relaxation garden is BEAUTIFUL.

Nicole Sotomayor

My first experience at a spa and getting a massage and it was 10/10! The staff was calming and helpful. My massage therapist was Gardner and he was amazing! Kept checking on pressure and made me feel totally relaxed and comfortable. And OH MY GOODNESS he helped my back more than I thought possible! And the grounds are gorgeous!!! So peaceful and relaxing. I cannot wait to go back! We booked our next experience before we even left the property. I couldn’t be more happy with our experience!!

Osmosis Day Spa is a treasure. Have been going to this spa for Japanese Enzyme baths since I heard about it in 2009- moved 3x since and still, make a pilgrimage or two from Boulder CO a year- This last visit the gardens were especially gorgeous and had amazing bath and hemisync- Shannon, my attendant, was a delight! See you guys again soon

simoja2012

Had a wonderful experience, enzyme bath was relaxing tolerable heat great attendant. My skin glowed afterwards. After the bath experience I participated in sound therapy and visited the meditation garden when I was able to meditate with in a really relaxed zen atmosphere. Will definitely return and try a massage experience next time. Staff was very attentive and quite friendly.

Alison S

Nice spa and can handle a group of 4 individuals at once. They will ask you at booking what type of massage as certain staff do specific types of massage. Cute little town, visit the bakery and the cheese shop. too bad the wine tasting room closed. Check hours in advance as the rest of the town has limited hours. The spa has great hours and also has a beautiful garden out back to relax in. We drove several hours to come here.

Kate Greer

My friend and I had the most wonderful experience at Osmosis, enjoying enzyme baths followed by Osmosis Combination Massages. Crystal was a wonderfully gifted massage therapist whom I highly recommend.

Christie Cudia

It was nice that they have therapists on staff who are trained in prenatal massage. When the therapist asked me to lie on the table face down, I expressed surprise and told her that in the past I had had prenatal massages laying on my side. She said that she actually prefers to do them laying on the side, but that Osmosis requires them to do it laying face-down. The therapist was skilled and provided a relaxing massage, but I did not like knowing that she hadn't been given the freedom to do the massage the way that she thought was best based on her training and experience.

Lynnette Frary

This is such a beautiful sanctuary, very quiet, peaceful, no giddy drunk people to ruin the zen. The staff is exceptional, all have been employed here a long time. Michael has done a fantastic job creating a true sanctuary.

Judy Gantz

I love Osmosis, the quality of Azja's facials are transformative. All the staff friendly and welcoming. I great healing spa.

Internet Account

Not very customer oriented and the difficulty of making a reservation is not worth the experience. Highly recommend the Farmhouse spa over Osmosis anytime, you can make an appt in 2 minutes and the staff is super friendly and client focused, sadly I cannot say that about Osmosis. When I emailed management to share my experience I never received a response, that alone tells the whole story.

Andrea Grigsby

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the cedar bath. The heat is different than any heat I have felt before. It feels like you warm up from the bones slowly, evenly and completely. It was entirely different than the heat you feel from a hot tub. I will definitely do it again. Then I did the forest bathing that was lead by the found of the spa 30 years ago. I will be back.

Lovely experience

Abby Walls

I wish I could give it more stars than five. It's that amazing.

Roseann Buritz

Hi, I enjoyed my experience at Osmosis. The people were very good at their work and the treatment and service were excellent. My only critique would be I had too much waiting time before and between treatments. Otherwise it was a great experience and I will come back again. Thank you!

Gillian Montgomery

It was an amazing day. The enzyme bath was unique and worth it. I'll be back for that and a follow up massage. Facial was also great and i noticed a difference. It was wet and raining so a little more coverage/walkable path to the lunch and garden area. The enzyme bath has a really earthy smell throughout, takes a while to get used to.

Mandie Holmes

Always a delightful experience! It's becoming an annual tradition to visit Osmosis for one of their massage + enzyme bath packages. Stay in nearby Occidental for a lovely small town with top notch dining. One can look up online what the enzyme bath is like... don't pass up this unique experience. Even my stereotypical male engineer of a partner loves it. While we find some of the gift shop items to be a bit hokey... think california new wave hippie... the services and massage experience is exceptional. Their deep tissue massage persons are very knowledgeable in treating athletes, which i greatly appreciate. We spent extra time this year to explore the meditation garden. It was the perfect way to end our day.

Sara Licu

I love this spa. The pampering begins the minute you walk in the door. The staff are all smiles and nurturing kindness. The massage therapist are kind and extremely skilled therapist. Thank You for the muscle melting 75 minute massage!

Tim Eschliman

One of the best ways to de-stress - similar to the famous Calistoga mudbaths, but more zen and more pleasant.

Wendy Breier

I always think of Osmosis like a heaven. I’ve been coming to Osmosis before all of the gardens were designed there was just a leanto where you sat waiting for the masseuse and over the years it’s just become an even better spa. I would recommend it highly to anyone. Staff is very attentive to your needs and I’ve never found anything like it. Thank you so much and we will be back soon!!

soňa Cuppová

Excellent spa, excellent services Sonia

Amazing cedar bath, I wish I could have stayed in it longer! And the after-bath sound therapy was so relaxing. Such a great time.

Delette Ziegelmann-Jackson

I have the BEST facial treatments wth Melissa! She’s knowledgeable, and spends time before each facial looking to see which treatments will be best for my skin at that time. She doesn’t start any treatments before assessing my skin. I receive monthly microdermabrasion treatments from my dermatologist and Melissa coordinates with my dermatologist what treatments are best at each appointment. My skin is very sensitive. And it has never looked better. My dermatologist tells me that I have more collagen and elasticity n my skin than most 30 year olds. I’m 68 and I have never used expensive creams or lotions and I still don’t. With Melissa’s vigilance and commitment to my having the best skin possible, I know I’m in good hands and will continue with my monthly facials with her. I highly recommend seeing Melissa for the most knowledge and customized treatments for your skin!

Cheenee Oliquino

Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our time here. We didn't really know what to expect when we went over here since I just stumble upon this hidden gem through a website that has a list of sonoma spas. We did the warmth of love for two which has the cedar enzyme bath and a massage. The tea room is amazing. They will give you a couple of minutes to hang out in the waiting room alone (not with other stranger guests). We had tea and chilled there with a relaxing view. Then we were sent to do our bath first. Which was something very unique and fun experience. We enjoyed it a lot. There was no view to enjoy this one so you are kinda just stuck to closing your eyes since there's nothing to see. The massage is amazing! Staff are all friendly. They also have the garden that you can hangout after or before your appointment. The whole experience was very relaxing.

Vaughn Hyndman

Beautiful setting so peaceful and calming. My massage was awesome. Elias was kind and courteous and did such a great job on my massage that I booked my next massage that same day!

Stormy Knight

A unique sanctuary as much as a spa, be sure to set aside time to walk the grounds.

Richard Paul Fisk

Only 4 stars, because I'm not sure the enzyme and sawdust bath is for me, but the massage was a 5 star!!

Elaine Word

My husband and/or girl friend come two or three times per year. We are lucky it is only an hour away. The cedar therapy is healing and the messages have always been GREAT. Osmosis is how we heal mind, body and spirit. I only wish I could do it on a monthly basis.

Gitta Sivander

This is quite a sanctuary! I had been given a gift certificate for christmas to come to Osmosis Day Spa, I would have never known about it otherwise! The Cedar Bath was amazing and so calming. My meridian Massage with Tamara was the best treatment I have had in many years! She is very intuitive and in-tune, which was my style. Absolutely loved it! Everyone I encountered at the Spa was super friendly, sweet and helpful. If you are looking for a 1/2 day get-away, this is the place !!!

Melissa Ng

The cedar baths are amazing. I loved it more than mud baths. I got the radiant skin package and switched the facial for the a different one. The facial and warm table was so relaxing I dozed off for most of it. I also loved wandering in the gardens. The one with the Zen garden also includes a really nice pond.

Nara Pilgrim Wood

I love being at Osmosis! The tea room with the Japanese garden is a beautiful and relaxing space to unwind before the cedar enzyme bath. The enzyme bath has a unique kind of heat, all the muscles in my body go "ahhh" when I step out of the tub. I like to look out the window when I am in the tub, there is another garden view there with birds flying overhead. My skin feels so soft after the tub. Then to finish off the experience, take a walk in the meditation gardens, they are just exquisite. Yesterday I was there and I sat in the meditation gazebo and took in the white and purple irises that were blooming across the pond. The staff is helpful and kind, and they offer great service. There is also a nice gift shop to peruse.

Bonnie Thomas

Even on a misty and rainy day, we had a great time. Enjoyed our first cedar enzyme bath. I will do that again. Thank you.

Always a dream

Found this place on Google. What an amazing experience! We started with the cedar enzyme bath, then a massage and then to the hammocks. The sound therapy and hammock knocked me out cold. Best nap I can remember. Highly recommend if your in the area. Very professional staff. We will definitely come back again! Absolutely five stars!

Olivia Wong

The spa is very calming and the zen garden is so beautiful. It's a nice place to go and relax and get away from the city. The Cedar Bath was a unique experience and would recommend trying out, but just be aware it’s hot and for me I felt a little claustrophobic. But I enjoyed it and my skin felt amazing afterwards, but the cedar does get everywhere and I mean everywhere! I also thought it was a great way to relax and be calm and you have a wonderful bath attendant to give you water and put cool towels on your face. I booked the Transformation package that included the bath and it was worth every penny! The massage was wonderful and relaxing-so what else can I say! Her technique was great and she was also very informative. Enjoyed my time at Osmosis and looking forward to the next opportunity to come back. They have a great membership too, just wish I lived closer to take advantage of it.

Leah Edun

This summer I went to Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary for the first time and it was a wonderful experience! The cedar enzyme bath was definitely warm (kind of like a sauna). I felt fantastic afterwards and during the process an attendant checks on you and also brings you water to keep you hydrated. The 75 minute massage was also the perfect accompaniment to the cedar bath, I would definitely get that package again. The only thing I would do differently is allot a bit more time afterwards to drink tea and enjoy the sanctuary (we stayed after for about 30 mins but longer would have been nice).

Carli Maniscalco

An amazingly relaxing experience. Will definitely be back.

Always an excellent visit. We travel from the Walnut Creek area and it’s worth the drive. The staff is always friendly and the massages are outstanding!!

Jennifer Leung

Very relaxing experience! It's the only cedar enzyme bath available in the continental United States - I've never experienced anything like it before but I loved it and would definitely return the next time I'm back in the area.

The cedar enzyme bath was great. I didn't realize the bath is water-less (you're just surrounded by cedar shaving which are really warm, soft so no chance of splinters, and it's naturally antibacterial.) Following that with a shower and a massage was a real treat, highly recommended

Always a lovely indulgence. I can't tolerate the heat of the baths very well, but I absolutely love the messages and facials. I recently tried a lemongrass ginger scalp treatment that was amazing! So relaxing!!

I've spent 12 years working in the spa industry and I was shocked by how bad my experience was. It was my husband and my first visit, we didn't get offered tea or water, there was no private waiting area, the grounds are hidden behind a back door with no sign you're just suppose to know where they are. My husband and I had massages in different rooms, afterward there was no direction on where to meet so I waited and waited and waited for him standing in the walk way. No one asked to help me although many people walked by. After 15 min I asked the front desk woman who informed me they "don't do tours of the property" and pointed me to a back door with no sign where the garden lay. He wasn't back there either. Finally I bumped into him in the hall. HIS massage therapist showed him to a private shower room after his massage, something I knew nothing about and she didn't think to inform me or anyone else of. The grounds are beautiful, but this was the worst custom care I've experienced at spa.

Where inner and outer re-converge and replenish thoroughly. This might sound corny but if you think life on planet Earth has let you down, make the investment in taking yourself and others to Osmosis and experience what you did not yet know was possible (or forgot because it had been too long). Breathe in the cedar magic ;-) Truly.

I have been coming here for years. It is always a special treat. Everything from the grounds, to the items curated in the gift shop, to the changing rooms to (of course) the service is top notch.

This was my first visit and I had a relaxing time. The massage with Consuelo was thorough and fantastic. We really enjoyed relaxing in the gardens afterwards. Thank you.
