They have a few good masseuses and a few poor ones. It can be hit or miss so if you find one you like stick to them. They will cancel short notice sometimes too which can stink considering you are looking forward to it. You will not be compensated when this happens either though, if roles are reversed you will be charged. Maybe I just had bad luck but after two years I had enough bad luck for my taste

This was the worst experience I have had in customer service. I tried to get a refund for a gift card I purchased the day before and I was told there is no such thing as a gift card refund. I was repeatedly told that their policy is written and clearly stated. As I was talking with the "manager," I mentioned that it was not stated on any counter, product, flyer anywhere in the office or mentioned to me prior to purchase. The counter clerk said it was written on the back of the card, which I reminded her was never explicitly mentioned when I bought it. In fact the clerk just placed it in it's holder and handed it to me, yesterday, and did not mention any of the policy prior to charging me for the amount. All I received in snarky "advice" was; "Well it's on the card, soooo." This blatant disregard of even trying to work with me has made me clearly lose faith in the Massage Envy's of improving a customer's health and stress level. I would not recommend this location based on their lack of professionalism, willingness to work with a customer when they have pointed out the areas of improvement and overall experience.

I'm a new member and so far I've loved coming to Massage Envy in Ahwatukee. The front desk staff and massage therapist I've work with has been amazing. My only feedback would be that it seems that undress/dress and evaluation time is included in the 60 or 90 minutes that should only be massage time. All the other places I've gone to the massage therapist states the time they start the massage now and they go for the full amount of time you pay for the massage. So, really my 90 minute was more like 75. So, the price for what I am getting is pretty steep. Hopefully this feedback will be heard!

Well, in a word, EXCELLENT! I had done my research and in doing so had found good and bad reviews on line. Mostly good, and the price was right, so I went for it. In booking my massage and facial, the receptionist was very interested in what I was looking for. Since I didn't really know, she scheduled me with Jenny and Heather. Both were very kind, and made me feel very comfortable. I went in feeling knots and pain in my body, and left feeling like a million bucks. I did sign up for a membership, in which they explained would be for the duration of one year, but who cares? I'm worth it, and the massages roll over if you don't use them. It was a no brainer. I also purchased about $300 in facial products, which I am ok with obviously, because I was looking to reduce some hormonal acne. I am excited to go back bi weekly and love this place to tears. I totally recommend this location to anyone who wants regular cheap low cost massages and facials too.

I got a gift certificate from Massage Envy from a friend for 2 massages. Both were heavenly and therapists were top notch. Quiet rooms, hot towels and wonderful front desk staff completed the picture. Decided to become a member as well as get an appointment for my husband.

She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed for my very first massage, and I have recommended her to all my friends! If you have never had a massage or are looking for a great place to go...you have to give Massage Envy Spa Ahwatukee a try! You won't regret it!

I've been a member for years and go to this location often. I've seen several therapists there and have never been disappointed. Most often I see Francisca. She is very skilled and has helped me with some issues I've had in my hip. The facility is well maintained and the front desk staff is always courteous and helpful.

Great massage! I like to workout and trail run. Getting regular massages help keep my body feeling good. They offer other services as well like hot and cold treatment for muscle groups.

One of the worst massages I've ever seen the therapist hands were cold and shaky she was very not soothing. She kept asking me how the pressure was and eventually got annoyed when I said it's not all about pressure. As a massage therapist I know what I'm talking about. I'm giving them 3 stars because the front desk didn't charge me for the session and the girl who worked there tati was very nice

Great experience here! Prices are reasonable. Masseuses are attentive and professional. Front desk staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Billing was a little murky but we got it all sorted out with pretty minimal effort. Forcing myself to schedule time was the hardest part.

Fantastic! Kayla was very attentive and I enjoyed every minute of my massage. Husband bought me a gift card for a 1 hour massage with a gift certificate for free enhanced therapy. Peppermint and Rosemary is the way to go! The only regret I have is not trying a facial or sugar foot scrub also. If I wasn't moving across country in a few days, I would definitely participate in their membership program. I guess I will be looking for another massage envy by my new place!

I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant, and was given a gift card for massage. After getting my massage I tried to use my gift card at the Mesa location and told there wasn’t a balance. I thought that would’ve been impossible because it was my first time coming to Massage Envy. It had turned out the Ahwatukee location, where my gift card was purchased, used it on the purchaser without the purchaser knowing. The Mesa location said it is in their policy to not use gift cards without having the physical gift card present to prevent this type of situation from happening. I talked to the gift card purchaser and they had said that they had a credit on their account when they got their massage last time, but it was really just the gift card they had bought me. The purchaser felt horrible that this had happened and said they wouldn’t have ever done this knowingly. I called to see if I could get this issue resolved, and not only did they not resolve this issue they did not even apologize, take accountability, and the manager Destiney even laughed that I would even ask for any assistance and said that the purchaser must not have liked me and decided to take the gift card back. I really just wanted an apology, and a reimbursement would’ve been a nice addition but I just wanted some accountability to be held their staff or policy, but instead they put it on me and the gift card purchaser. As a first impression I was not impressed and even pretty disappointed in their costumer service. The Mesa location staff even said that it must have been something on the Ahwatukee locations staff that caused this issue to happen. I was given this gift card to ease the aches and pains this pregnancy has given me, and this massage was supposed to be a very positive experience and unfortunately the staff at the Ahwatukee location ruined it for me. It really makes me sad because the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had at any massage place, but I don’t think I will be returning to Massage Envy because of their messy transaction policies, and lack of customer service.

In all honesty, I was initially very concerned about going to any new massage parlor as my ex girlfriend used to be a rather good massage therapist. But ever since we broke up i have been looking for a new place and there is no question, I have ABSOLUTELY found it. The staff was so incredibly friendly and the pricing was very fair. Lovely and welcoming atmosphere, even compared to other massage envies that I have been to. I highly recommend going to this specific location even if you have to go out of your way. Wonderful experience all around.

I decided a couple's massage would be nice for my gf's birthday. Everything was great until the end when we tried to pay. The staff was very friendly and the therapists did a good job....it was very relaxing. However, when I tried to pay, the gal at the counter wanted us to purchase memberships. I'm not one to make "on the spot" financial commitments, so I told her my gf and I would talk about it later. Instead of listening to what I said she became persistent and it turned into a high pressure sales pitch. Before long our relaxing experience turned into a stressful one, and I had to get borderline rude just to pay the bill! It ruined the entire experience and I can honestly say I will not revisit Massage Envy because of the last 10 minutes of being there.

Made a couple of attempts to book a 90 minute session: the first one, the therapist could barely apply ANY pressure so rather than spend that much time and money for an ineffective session, I asked to reschedule - no one was available same day, of course. So I made the 2nd appointment, which they cancelled day of, with no offer of a same day/ similar time slot replacement. Not to mention, woke me up at 8am on Sunday to do so. The only reason I'm going to Massage Envy is because I have a gift card. Won't be using it at this location and won't be back to Massage Envy after using the gift card...

Bad experience! After waiting 15 minutes for my scheduled appointment to begin I was informed that my therapist was not available. I was told that my next session would be comped due to the inconvenience. My session was then rescheduled for the following day with a different therapist. The next morning I received a call to advise me that my rescheduled session needed to be once again rescheduled as my therapist was once again unavailable. I have been to many massage envy locations in the past and have never experienced this. I informed the person on the phone to just "forget it" and he quickly obliged without even simple apology or a meager have a good day. After reading other reviews for this location, it appears that this practice of canceling appointments is quite common at this location.

The place is very clean. The staff us ultra friendly and I can't speak about the rest of their masseuse's, but Lexi and Sean do a wonderful job. Did a couples massage on Valentines and it was phenomenal. Lexi delivered the best massage this 52 year old has had to date. We left and felt wonderful. Deffinately on our regular schedule now.

Best massage envy. Very down to earth staff. Friendly and helpful. I LOVE my therapist. They have some of the best therapist located here my favorite by far is Nicole I don't know what I would do without her. Well I do and that would be cry. She is absolutely amazing. Nicole is really good with people that need therapy for sports related injuries ,deep tissue and chronic issues .She really knows how to get in there and get to the root of the problem .She is very conscious of you at all times. She remembers everything , takes great notes in the chart. She is always Pleasant and has a smile. If you need a therapist that can do it all she's the one. but I would say her biggest specialty is for anybody that needs somebody that's not afraid to get in there and do pressure point .and it may be a little painful cuz she's got to get those knots and that junk out of there, but she gets it out of there and you feel so much better afterwards . if that's what you're looking for she is the best person for you. But the girl can also rub you down with no pain and make you feel so relaxed you would literally fall asleep and start to snore. I invite you all to come and visit her but you have to still leave me a slot somewhere in your there during the week for me to visit.

Great therapists, terrible customer service. After 10 minutes waiting on hold to make an appointment, hung up & called Tempe location. TEN MINUTES. Any business which cannot get it together enough to find a system which accommodates clients, nonetheless NEW clients, doesn't get my money. (It was actually almost 11 minutes BTW, without even a "sorry, do you mind holding longer?" Just a click every few minutes, apparently from the guy who initially stuck me in autohold HELL, putting me on hold AGAIN.) UNBELIEVABLY poor customer service.

Having only received a few professional massages in my life I was a bit apprehensive about making an appointment with someone I don't know at a place I've never been. I was experiencing a lot of pain in my back, however and the price could not be beat here. So, I decided to give it a try. I was amazed! Everyone there could not have been nicer. The massage therapist even spent an extra 10 minutes reviewing my health concerns and areas of focus. It was honestly a great purchase. I will definitely go back again!

I have been a member of this clinic since 2004. After numerous billing issues with this particular clinic (not charging on the proper day for instance), they canceled my membership with no warning (no phone calls and then lied and said I blocked the clinic number #BUTWHY). Mia's response was, "well, you didn't expect to get the grandfathered rate forever, did you?" Well yes, yes I did. I would not recommend this clinic to ANYONE - go to any of the other clinics and sign up, this one is dishonest and the owners do not care enough to return phone calls to make things right.

Tried to book an appointment and the receptionist, Maureen, was so incredibly rude I just decided to go somewhere else after spending 15 minutes on the phone trying to book an appointment. Every year my husband buys me a membership here for Mother's Day and I really wish he just wouldn't. I rarely have a decent experience here and usually it ALWAYS stems from the front desk. They do have talented therapists, but complete idiots working the front making it difficult to use the expensive membership. Get it together people!
