My husband and I use Elements exclusively!! Always excellent service, everyone is professional and friendly. We are greeted and offered something to drink. Appointments are always either a few minutes early or right on time. Becky Kline is the Aveda Stylist we use and she is phenomenal at what she does. Thank you Elements and Becky!

Unfortunately, giving 0 stars is not an option so I have to give the salon one, but in reality, I would give 0 if the option were available. I will start out by saying that Aveda needs to do a quality control check at this salon. I've been there twice with the near same experience both times. Super friendly staff and stylists so I will not throw the stylists under the bus, but they are simply not qualified or trained properly. Both stylists that I had do my hair should not be doing color. Period. As verified by my orange/brassy hair. Both times I paid close to over over $200. That's right, $200. Both times I sat in the chair for 3.5 - 4 hours. Both times I had to go back to have them tone the color out because it was that bad. The second time i literally had two tone black/orange brassy look going on. It was truly embarrassing how bad it looked, I could tell it was that bad because I when I walked back in the salon the stylist who did my hair the day before could not make eye contact with me. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I'm not sure if it is their apprenticeship program or what but the quality is simply not there for an Aveda salon. I've had my hair done with various highlights, color, etc. for the past 15 years, I've NEVER had issues with color lifting, sat in a chair so long, and had to go back to have my hair fixed. Ever. Until going to Elements Salon. I'm completely open and aware mistakes happen and not all stylists are the same which is why I went back the second time, Aveda usually represents quality. I've always been open to paying more for a quality job. But the fact I've walked out of their twice for the price I paid to have my hair look like a kindergartner did it, simply isn't acceptable or good business. Aveda Headquarters needs to evaluate this salon, to me, it is clearly not meeting the standards that Aveda presents.

I can not say enough about elements salon and day spa. My husband had purchased a spa package for me there. From the moment I got there the staff was so friendly and caring and the atmosphere was amazing. They went above and beyond to make my experience amazing. This tired momma left feeling amazing. I’ve tried a few salons around Fairbanks, and this is it! This is the one! I’ve had my hair cut, colored, styled and hair extensions put in here. If you’re looking for a stylist, I highly recommend Amber! She’s got a great, chill personality, and gives the most AMAZING scalp massages while shampooing. Seriously, I’ve considered going just to get my hair washed. Also, the customer service up at the front desk is always on point!

I moved up from Nevada last February and I was skeptical of where to get my hair done in town. I had gone to the same stylist in Nevada for 5 years, so she just knew what to do and I felt comfortable in trusting her to just do her thing on my hair lol. I had recommendations to go to Elements and so I finally decided today was the day. I wasn't expecting to get an appointment so soon! I got in to see Natalie and I was blown away! She did my hair exactly how I wanted and knew what to do with my curly/wavy hair! The hand massage and essential oil massage was an amazing bonus. I had an eyelash lift appointment booked for that Monday but I happened to ask if they had availability for that day and they did! So I was able to get in right away and I was in and out with my hair and eyelashes done under 2 hours! Thanks Elements, I'll be back :)

The massages and facials are great and the staff is friendly. I’m giving one star because I went in for a haircut and color and asked the stylist for soft straight bangs that I can push to the side and hide when I wanted. She cut WAY to much off the front and left me with bulky, chopped bangs that looked like a bowl cut. She didn’t ask how I liked them and didn’t even try to fix them or thin them out. I was so embarrassed walking out of the salon. Now I have to wait for them to grow out and pin them back. I was so excited to get my hair done. Now I can’t even enjoy my hair. It looks so ridiculous. If you’re going here, make sure your stylist understands and is able to do what you are asking for.

I wanted to get gel nails done for my friend's out of town wedding. I got them done the day before I left but two hours after I left the salon, one entire nail broke off. Unfortunately, the salon was closed so I couldn't go back in to get it fixed. One day later, another nail broke off. I was told these nails were going to last at least a month and would need special treatment to remove them. I went to another nail salon and their nail technician painlessly popped off every single one of my gel nails without any equipment or treatment. Long story short, I had to pay another salon for gel nails for my friend's wedding.

I have anxiety about switching stylist. Moved from the lower 48 here, the same friend/stylist had been doing my hair for so long I didn't even need to tell her what I needed or wanted. That being said, I went to a Salon in NP and was traumatized by the stylist and style. I was terrified to go anywhere else... So I googled Salons and found Elements. They put me with Amber! I have read some of those people who did not get the service they needed or were not treated with respect. This surprises me as I have always been treated well at the salon. Haven is my hair stylist and she is fully committed to her profession. She loves working with hair. She also is fun to pass the time with as my hair is being cut and shaped. I also use the spa for pedicures 4 or 5 times a year. This is a new experience for me (regular pedicures), but the dryness in the Interior was brutal on my feet. I don't use color on my toe nails because who sees it except when I go to Hawai'i, right? But the foot soaks, foot scrubs, foot massage, and having someone else trim my toe nails is an extra treat.

Very friendly atmosphere. Efficient in booking appointments and doing a great job with all services offered there. They care for their customers and do not push products. Highly recommend - especially to those in the military looking to get an excellent spa treatment outside of the BX/PX on base.

In my opinion Elements Salon & Day Spa is the best place in town when it comes to their Day Spa. The atmosphere alone will put you in a relaxed mood. Bree was my massage therapist for the 90-minute massage. She came highly recommended and truly lived up to my expectations and then some. Bree asked me if I had any preexisting injuries, concerns or questions. She gave me the option for the scent that would be used with the massage oils and made sure I was comfortable before the massage began. One other very important part of a massage is getting a masseuse that respects your time and is quite during your massage unless they need to ask you to turn over or answer a question you have asked them. Bree was also able to work out all of the tension and knots in my muscles with very minimal discomfort. *Side note in the past when I have received a massage at other establishments, and they work out all the knots you end up feeling like a MAC truck hit you*. With Bree I was so relaxed that I fell asleep twice during my massage. By the end of the massage I felt completely rejuvenated and refreshed. If you are looking for a phenomenal masseuse, I can say with a 100% confidence that Bree is the person you need to go see.

Cassidy at Elements is the FRINGE WIZARD. it's not just that my bangs have never looked this good-- and that I don't have to use product/tools or even think about them-, because she's shaped them perfectly--she has actually listened to me about my hair goals and helped me meet them for the first time in my life. My hair is super long and healthy, which it has NEVER BEEN, and it's totally bc she set me up with Aveda products that actually work for my hair, and it's actually less expensive than me buying cheapie products all the time.
