REVIEWS OF Jim's Service Inc. IN Wyoming

Michael Lingwall

I called fairly late on a weekend and they dispatched someone immediately to tow me into town at a reasonable price.

Artem K

Fair Prices and excellent Service broke down around midnight and Jim took care of me. Need a tow around Evanston WY give him a call, He wont disappoint!!!!!

Jenna Krell

The service there was the worst I've ever had and all the people were completely inappropriate. Never going there again.

Luis Reyes

Jim was great! Fast, helpful, polite and freindly. A++ wonderful experience in a cruddy situation.

Maggie Poloncic

Horribly rude over the phone. My advice would be to not operate a 24 service if you don’t want to help people out 24 hours a day.

Pete Peterson

Honest hard working guy. I'm from out of town. Truck broke down. Was recommended by Steve's Truck Repairs to use Wyoming Towing to get towed to Rock Springs because there were no reputable repair shops in Evanston. Wyoming Towing wanted 800.00 to tow me 95 miles to Rock Springs. Thought that was high. Called Wyoming Highway Patrol dispatch for their towing list and Wyoming Towing was not on it. Chose Jim's Service to tow me back to Evanston. Cost was 100.00. I asked him Going rate if I got towed to Rock Springs and he said almost all tow companies would have charged around $400. So Steve's Truck Repair and Wyoming Towing are working a scam for uninformed travelers. Jim's is a nice honest guy. I highly recommend Jim's Service in Evanston.

Took a while to find us but Danny was great. Really took the time to try to help us out and the price was more than reasonable for the tow.

I got my car stuck in a really tricky spot going up a hill on an off road driveway and Jim was able to get it out with no problem. He worked so fast and was so kind and didn't overcharge!!!!! If you need a tow truck call Jim!!

Danny handled the towing of my car yesterday (8/9/17). He was prompt and friendly and hooked up the straps carefully. He was also careful when winching it up on the bed of the flatbed truck and used the wheel straps properly to keep the car from shifting. He knew to use the first set of cloth straps (rather than chains) to prevent scratches to the paint. A knowledgeable and careful fellow.

Ford F350 7.3 diesel and 5th wheel travel trailer broke down on I-80 day 2 on our 3 week trip! Jim's towing service was prompt, professional, friendly and offered us out-of-towners more than just towing service. Being a long time resident of the Evanston area, Jim gave us a few tips to help us out. Highly recommended!

Carl Johnson

Fast service at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Used them twice via AAA took 2 hours for the truck to get to us. Then I had to help him load both times and unload. The second time the driver stopped to eat before coming... Dont use.

It was a dark and stormy night. The snowstorm was well underway and plows couldn’t keep the surface of I-80 clean. Our driver thought that the downhill side of the first of the legendary grades known as the “Three Sisters” east of Evanston WY and west of Fort Jim Bridger, would be a good place to pass those mere mortals inching their way along the snow-packed surface. Bad idea. Another rig pulled into the left lane to pass a third rig and our guy center-punched the rear of rig number two. I’ll leave the description of the embarrassing carnage to the reader’s memory bank of ‘rear end’ accidents witnessed first hand. It’s too late to make a long story short but there were other accidents on The Sisters that night and all the available tow trucks were fully engaged. WY Highway Patrol asked Jim Cook of Evanston, to get our rig off of I-80. He hooked up his underlift to the front axle and towed the entire rig to the truck parking near the next off ramp. No charge. I’m not talking about the Freon that escaped the smashed air conditioning condenser, I’m talking about the money he could have charged for getting rig number one safely off the road. He went back to work on other accidents after telling me where he left ours. That summer, I ran into him (a figure of speech) at the Little America truck stop. He’s easy to spot if you’ve ever seen a picture of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody. He’s complete with the boots, hat, beard and probably a pistol. I introduced myself and thanked him for rescuing our guy that last winter on The Sisters. I bought breakfast and tipped him a Benjamin. Here’s to a long life, Jim Cook of Evanston WY.

my 16 year old twins went there to get a part and were screamed at yelled at by some freak,,, he cussed at them and was plain ass rude,,, they drove away without a part and if i had been there i would of been nose to nose with this freak and yelled right back,,,, poor business ethics …

Jim from Jim's towing was so nice and sent A truck out right away. We were broke down 22 miles from Evanston, WY HWY 80 on Sunday 7-7-2019. Danny, drove the tow truck. He was also unbelievably great. After towing us to Chad's auto he made sure our small trailer was parked and in a safe place and suggested we back up to it to keep it safe. Danny then drove us to Wellsfargo and then to Smith's grocery store because we had to stay overnight in Chad's parking lot in our van. He helped us get our groceries for the night in our van. Jim and Danny, thank you!

Jim is good people ask for Jim and you can't go wrong he helped my 73yr old father out his f350 broke down coming off the off ramp onto hwy150. and Jim was getting ready to leave for the day and his other drivers were out on tows, but didn't hesitate to go grab his truck and was there n a matter of minutes! Also gave him a good deal. Jim's a honest hard working man. I seen a few bad reviews on here please don't let those hinder you from choosing Jim the people or persons they were referring to wasn't Jim and I think they've since been fired.

Friendly and efficient. They may be a little rough around the edges, but what else would you expect? They got my broken down car moved quickly.

AAA found a tire shop in the direction we were going when we got a flat from a pothole, however, we didn't realized there might be a tire size on our vehicle that was difficult to replace. We were forced to turn around and be towed to a different town that had the correct size. Jim was the one who towed us, and he made sure there was the correct tire before leaving, and also found someone who could fix the dented rim for us. We are so lucky he was available to help us that day, as he took great care of us. He is hard working and has helpful contacts in the area. We recommend using his tow services any day.
